Dry lips aren’t cute under makeup or just on its own. The only thing that has helped me maintain the softness of my lips is Vaseline - Lip Therapy Pink Bubbly Tin . I always use it at night before bed and I wake up to the softness lips. During the winter is the only time I need it during the day but two to three applications a day is enough to keep your lips moisturized, unlike most chapsticks I have used before.

ACV for hair loss
3 years ago I started losing hair most likely due to stress. Every time I brushed may hair with a brush or with my hair and when I washed my hair which I did almost everyday because I have oily hair, clumps of it would fall out. My ponytail went from a nickel size thickness to a less than dime size thickness. I was losing hair all over my scalp. Occasionally my scalp would get so itchy right after a wash but there wasn’t dandruffs. I tried Rogaine - 5% Minoxidil Foam for Hair Regrowth for months straight and I would get an increase of hair loss and white hairs which I never had prior to using it. I even use egg masks and coconut oil masks which I have used prior to my hair loss. I even took NATURE'S BOUNTY - Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies religiously. None had slowed down my hair loss nor promoted hair growth. I came upon a post one day on a google search about how this person used an BRAGG - Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with mother hair mask for their hair loss. Because I do already drink a ACV drink daily I decided to try it in my hair. I used it consistently for 2 months every other day now. I have seen so many baby hair sticking out of my head. And yes I look crazy but I’m so happy to share with you that it works for me so it could work for you as well. I diluted my ACV in a 2 ACV to 1 water ratio. I just used tap water. I poured a little bit into my scalp and massaged it in for about 30 seconds and left it in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes, rinsed my hair, then shampooed my hair regularly. I found massaging to wet and dry hair doesn’t make much difference. There will be residual ACV smell when your hair is wet but after it dries the smell does away. ACV also balances the pH of you hair so lately I have been able to maintain my hair to a second day without it looking extra greasy. Today, my pony tail thickened up a little and I can’t wait to see more hair growth. I hope this post helps. Don’t forget to spot test the solution in case your skin is sensitive to ACV.

Moisturizer barrier protection
Although I have oily skin, it’s also important to moisturize it especially during winter. Having dry skin can be a cause of acne. Dry skin also makes your makeup look dull. Dry skin also accompanies larger pores. And so it’s really important to make sure your skin’s moisture barrier is at a healthy state. I depend on StriVectin - SD Advanced Plus Intensive Moisturizing Concentrate For Wrinkles & Stretch Marks during the winter to moisturize my face. It’s a very thick cream so a little goes a long way. It not only hydrated but also prevent wrinkles as well. Bring this moisturizer down your neck as well because first signs of aging can be seen at your neck.

I stopped using this trendy skincare
Sadly, I had to stop using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. I broke out so badly. I was getting but painful cysts and pustules every day and night when I used it. I thought it was just purging but it lasted for more than 6 weeks so I finally gave up. The minute I stopped using it and started using my Perricone MD - Cold Plasma+ Advanced Serum Concentrate I stopped breaking and it all heal over night. I am not sure how it happened overnight and I know it sounds like an exaggeration but that’s what happened.

Switching to the ordinary
For those that follow me know that I love DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel but lately my acne just doesn’t respond to it anymore so I am officially switching toThe Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% . I started this product today and used around 2 drops of it and I feel some stinging but no redness. After a few hours I have some areas that started to itch but not bad enough that I have to take it off. Hopefully it gets better! Stay tuned for up plates on how I like this new product!

Good inexpensive hair serum
Decided to try this out because my argan oil hair serum ran out and it’s pretty good at keeping my hair tamed. Only problem I have is the product is so thick and sticky. How to use: Make sure your hair is damp. Rub a small amount between your palms. Place it into ends of hair first then use the rest on the shaft of the hair. If you have oily hair, AVOID the scalp. Blow dry hair for a few seconds to melt the serum. Rub the ends to spread the product out.
