Going outside today! ✨
I’m sure many of you know the struggle of staying indoors all the time and it’s hard to justify going full face when the only one who sees you is your computer screen. But today I am venturing outside for not work related activities which means I get to be creative with my makeup! I always keep it simple and light on the face, especially now with a mask on, so tinted moisturizer with SPF is what I use! Here’s the full product list: FACE: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Crème Brulée TARTE Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer in Light SEPHORA COLLECTION Luminizing Palette Highlighter TARTE Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Glisten EYES: Too Faced - White Peach Eye Shadow Palette

Zoom Meeting Look!
As one of the only women in a lot of my workplace meetings, I always want to make sure I look very presentable and professional (from the waist up 🤣) in addition to having my materials prepared. It’s just something that helps me feel like I’m 100% on my game! This is a similar look I would do for if and when work is ever normal and I had an important meeting as well. Your appearance is the way you present yourself to the world, and doing my makeup nicely is the way I like to be presented, though it is by no means necessary to be a professional woman! Makeup is just my way to be creative with my appearance. It’s fun! tarte - Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter Too Faced - White Peach Eye Shadow Palette SEPHORA COLLECTION - Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner NARS - Climax Mascara SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick tarte - Sea H2O Lip Gloss
Peach Glam 🍑✨
I love peach tones for my skin, they just work for me, so when I get to wear bolder makeup (I can’t for work) I love pink and peach tones! This look is a little more soft glam than the last one I posted but I realize now it’s remarkably similar 😂 I have a look I guess. Also please excuse my frizzy hair, I haven’t washed it in four days 😬 Something that’s a lot different in my makeup routine is with a face mask, I’m literally only putting makeup only from my eyes up, and even then I’m only putting a touch of concealer on my forehead. So basically only eyes! I start with NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer under and on my eyes, as well as a bit of spot treatment on my forehead and blend it all in with a beauty blender. I’m shade creme brûlée, which has got more blue/purple undertones so it won’t turn yellow throughout the day which I hated about the Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer and tarte - Shape Tape Concealer For eyeshadow, I used the Too Faced - White Peach Eye Shadow Palette which has so many pretty colors and also the COLOURPOP - Yes, Please! Both palettes are full of warm glowy pinks, reds, oranges, and golds, definitely my jam. I laid down a base of too faced’s Peach Cream all over up to my brow, then used the Peach Suede color in my crease. Then I grabbed the colourpop palette in Bling for my corners, and jumped back to the too faced palette to put Glistening Peach on the center of my lids. It’s a really pretty pink with gold sparkles, a very dimensional color! Confession time: I hate eyeliner. I am terrible at applying it 😅 when I do wear it, It’s usually brown, I only put it on my top lash line, and I usually blend it with a sponge to hide the mess I made. So I just have the sephora collection brown eyeliner and I line my top lash line and my waterline and then just blend it out with the sponge on the end. But, I do have one hack! If you wing your brown eyeliner out and smudge it out, you can create the illusion of a shadow from your lashes! I just draw out a little wing and use the sponge on the end of my eyeliner. I double layer URBAN DECAY - Perversion Mascara over NARS - Climax Mascara I’ve been using climax for a while, I like how soft and natural it makes my eyelashes look! I only wear this normally, but I like to layer the perversion over it if I’m going for something a little more dramatic. I don’t put anything but ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel on my brows, brushing up and kinda roughing them up for a fluffy messy look. I’m just lucky to have naturally good dark brows, sorry 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t go crazy with my makeup, and I’m by no means an expert, but the secret is just knowing what works for you! If you made it here thanks for reading ☺️

“Subtle” eGirl makeup? 🤔 (she tried)
If you’re on the internet a lot like myself, chances are you’ve come across someone sporting “eGirl” makeup. What is an eGirl you might be wondering? Well, I’m not pretty sure of what the term really means.. or who would be considered an eGirl? I have so many questions lol but if we’re talking eGirl makeup then I do know the aesthetic is very similar to what emo/punk makeup was in my day, but with an “I’m baby” quality and kinda more glam? This type of makeup is often characterized by the use of soft pinks, purples, heavy winged liner, big wispy lashes, glossy lips and blushed noses ✨ I tried following a tutorial i found on Pinterest, but kind of more subtle to make it something I would personally wear out 🥰 I’ll list what I used below 💜💜 ⭐️ DIOR - Forever Skin Glow Foundation I love lightweight foundations that give me a natural finish but that I can build up in case I want a more medium coverage. This is my absolute favorite!! It’s simply amazing, it’s creamy but not heavy. ⭐️ DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer eGirl always have flawless skin, so I used my favorite concealer on some areas like my under eyes, around my nose and on my chin to cover up some redness. ⭐️ COLOURPOP - Sailor Moon x Pretty Guardian Eyeshadow Palette if you’re able to get your hands on this palette I’d say get it! I think the CP Sailor Moon collection is such a polarizing one but I personally loved it. Aside from the fact that it sells out every time in like 0.3 seconds 🙃 I think it’s such a cute collection. ⭐️ COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush I don’t know if this shade is still available, but Colourpop has such cute blush shades, but also any peachy blush works just fine. ⭐️ BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter a friend gifted me this in the iconic Champagne Pop shade, I love it. So creamy and blinding! ⭐️ Glossier. - Pro Tip Brush Point Liquid Eyeliner solid eyeliner, reminds me of my favorite Japanese brush tip liner. ⭐️ flesh - FLESHY LIPS Sheer Lipstick idk if flesh is even a brand now but I love the formula of this lipstick, it’s balmy and feels hydrating. #CheriePartner

makeup in the military
🇺🇸 happy memorial day weekend! 🌊 explaination I’m an active duty service member in the Navy. Balancing femininity with the confines of a uniform can be pretty difficult at times. A lot of people question how much makeup I am allowed to wear and how/when. And I wear a full face! 🌊 so what can you wear? The general guidelines (lot of paraphrasing here) are that makeup must look natural looking, not be faddish, and not use overly bright colors/glitter. Special occasions do call for special looks, but I tend to wear the same products everyday. 🌊 what I do My goal is to make it look like I’m not wearing makeup even though I probably spent 30-40 minutes on my face that morning. I tend to skip eyeshadow to save time, especially with my hooded eyes. feel free to ask any questions! 🌊 My current daily makeup lineup Primer: Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Concealer: MAYBELLINE - SuperStay Better Skin Concealer Setting Powder: REVOLUTION - Conceal & Fix Setting Powder Blush: Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Bronzer: Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer Brow Pencil ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Perfect Brow Pencil Brow Gel benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Setting Spray Urban Decay All Nighter Mascara Too Faced Damn Girl!

My Go-To Pallet gives you a Kim K-worthy contour
Who doesn't enjoy convenience? We're human. We love convenience in all shapes and sizes. Why do you think delivery apps are skyrocketing in popularity? While I love a good meal delivered to my front door, I can also appreciate an all-in-one makeup pallet. My Go-To All-In-One Face Pallet: The Kevyn Aucoin Art of Sculpting + Defining pallet is my #1 choice for a natural everyday pallet that gets the job done fast. I find myself reaching for this pallet when I know I don't have much time to spend on my day's makeup. The pallet retails for $59. Is It Worth It? For me, the creme de la creme of face pallets is the 'The Contour Book Volume II' by Keyin Aucoin. As a longtime fan of his Sculpting Powder, which gives you a Kim K-worthy contour, this pallet comes with my beloved chiseling power and a cream version, highlighters, and four eyeshadows. Altogether, you get a total of eight pans. Naturally, the face products are larger than the eyeshadows. I love almost everything in this pallet. I'm personally not the biggest eyeshadow person, so I use the shadows as an inner corner highlight instead! Plus, the darker eyeshadow shade can double as a brow powder for me. It comes with a huge mirror, too, making great for travel or minor touch-ups. There's also a handy guide that teaches you how to sculpt your cheekbones out and use the eyeshadows to naturally shape and define the eyes. Tip: I love layering the Candlelight Cream and Candlelight Powder. The subtle shimmer in the powder really makes the cream highlight pop. Plus, it makes it last longer! Final Thoughts: I love this pallet, and I ultimately think it's worth it. If not for anything else, I continue to buy this pallet for the Sculpting Powder alone. It's seriously THE BEST contour powder I've ever used.

Hi Y’all! My Name is Tara and I’m new to Cherie! I’m a 16 year old who’s about to go into my junior year of High school and this is my everyday natural makeup. Fondation and concealer it Cosmetics - CC+ Cream Illumination SPF 50+ Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer Bronzer PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer Eyes L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara TONYMOLY - Back Gel Eyeliner Blush THE FACE SHOP - Apeach Pastel Cushion Blusher Kakao Friends Limited Edition Lips FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer Note: for my brows I used the mascara on my brows to give them a natural look. Just put brush your brows up, and blend them out with a spoolie. I also used my bronzer as a eyeshadow to give my eyes some debt. I like to use some of my products for multiple use that way I can save money. ;)

I shared this look a few looks back with a break down of the products I used and mini reviews of each! I started by evening out my base with concealer and a bit of loose powder under my eyes. Then I warmed up my complexion with NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow in a bronzer shade and a blush, the shade In the Nude is a perfect sunkissed shade for the cheeks! I added highlighter to the tops of my cheek bones, on the bridge and tip of my nose and above my brows. I used Jouer - Jouer Powder Highlighter in the shade Skinny Dip. Added the warm Terracotta shade from the RÓEN - 75° Warm Eye Shadow Palette to my lids. Then used the glossiet gloss to my lips, FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer .

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
