Help! Cerave SA Lotion + Differin?
I just purchased the CeraVe SA Lotion after my sister told me how much it cleared up her skin. However, I’ve been using Differin consistently for months now. Will it hurt my skin to double cleanse, use TO’s Niacinamide and Zinc, moisturize with the SA lotion, then apply Differin?
CindyAlfonsoI’m new to this app and also new to Differin but I’ve been reading that is not recommended to use salicylic acid with retinoids, it depends on the concentration tho,ñ

Hello, so I been struggling with my skin for years. I’m 29 now & it hasn’t seemed to get any better. I use to think the tiniest pimples or marks were a problem but my skin kept getting worse. These pix are a week apart & the top is today. Last October my skin hit a low & I decided to cut dairy. It helped, then my skin got bad again & I cut out meat. It helped for a little again. I tried so much products. I was on Zo skincare & helped but it’s too expensive to continue so I’m in the process of devolving my own affordable skin routine. A month ago I started the pill (birth control) & right before that my skin was going crazy, I think because I was trying new products. I think my skin is purging from products and the pill? I’ll post my now routine any suggestions will help but I think I’m on the right path finally 🤞🏼 The app has helped me a lot. PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength for wash OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner I use this toner HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater & Glycerin Atomizerthen spray this & I’m about to start sugergoop everyday spf 50 lotion. At night use DERMA•E - Vitamin C Intense Night Cream & I’m slowly using DIFFERIN - Acne Treatment Gel
I went to a dermatologist last month for the first time ever because I’ve been dealing with small bumps on my forehead for over 2 years now and I just felt like enough is enough. My dermatologist told me they’re clogged pores and to use differin and that it would help unclog them! I’ve been using differin for 3 weeks now going on my 4th and while I think it’s working I don’t always feel so confident but I know it’s a waiting game. I’m excited to see where my skin will be in 3 months. My dermatologist also told me to use CeraVe PM along with the differin. I apply CeraVe PM first on damp skin after cleansing and then I wait for it to sink in and dry then I go in with the differin. So far so good, I will update! Bacne got you down? TRY THIS!
Acne is a skin condition that doesn't just affect the face, but the entire body! Acne occurs due to pores being blocked by oil, dead skin and dirt. We have pores covering our entire body-which is why we can get acne on our backs! •What causes it? Like I said, these pores get clogged and cause acne. It can be different forms of acne: pimples, pustules, cysts or blackheads. Often, the friction from our clothing can cause irritation and trap oils and sweat onto our skin. If you are an athlete or exercise often, the sweat will stay on the skin longer, causing lingering bacteria that pop up as pimples the next day. •Products to Treat When you are suffering from bacne, it can be highly painful and irritated. If the bumps are active (meaning red and open) gently wash with a fragrance free soap twice daily. Then, applying treatment creams is essential in treating current breakouts and preventing further ones from occuring. DIFFERIN - Acne Treatment Gel This is a powerful over the counter retinol treatment that can be applied over the entire back. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly, making it easy to use in the morning. PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Exfoliating Body Spray 2% BHA (118ml) I love this option for severe bacne where touching it with creams may be painful and cause more irritation. Using salicylic acid, this spray is designed to help clear body breakouts. •Products to Prevent If you commonly get bacne, you shouldn't stop treating it once it clears up. Prevention and a regular routine is essential! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads (seen in 3rd picture) These pads are large enough to swipe over the back a few times a week to keep skin exfoliated. These are alcohol free and contain lactic and glycolic acid to exfoliate. I wouldn't recommend using these on open pimples as the application method can spread bacteria. CeraVe - SA Lotion For Rough & Bumpy Skin If you want some hydration with your treatment, then this is perfect for you! It contains exfoliating salicylic and lactic acid while also incorporating ceramides to protect your skin's barrier. ☆The root of acne is inflammation. It is important to keep this in mind when forming any treatment regimen. Your back can handle more than the delicate skin on your face, but still be careful not to over exfoliate. Assess your skin regularly to ensure that the products you're using are helping! As with any acne treatment, you should see results over the course of several weeks.
Any recommendations pleaseeee help :(
I don’t know what exactly made my cheek area breakout this way, I don’t use any makeup at all, since this year started I began to get small bumps on my cheeks, decided to switch up my routine and use CeraVe - Hydrating Facial CleanserThe Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution(once a week) and CeraVe - SA Lotion For Rough & Bumpy SkinAveeno - Protect + Hydrate Lotion Sunscreen the products are great and all but I haven’t seen a dramatic difference. I figured keeping my routine plain and simple would help but it hasn’t. About my skin: My problem area would always be my forehead, I’d get the occasional pimple on one cheek, but now my forehead stays clear and my cheeks are the ones like this. My face is oily from the morning I wake up to the end of the day. My forehead, cheeks, nose, chin, you name it.
SKIN JOURNEY UPDATE #2 😍😳
so here’s how my skin is looking currently! I am loving how much my skin has improved. I have made small changes in my routine that I think are for the better. I’ve added a sunscreen to my morning routine! CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 I’ve added a spot treatment at night! ACNE FREE - Terminator 10 I’ve tried the dandruff shampoo for fungal acne and it seems to be working slowly but well! I really have noticed less bumpiness on my forehead. Nizoral - Anti Dandruff Shampoo I’ve also switched to a heavier moisturizer at night since I think nighttime is the perfect time to layer on stronger and heavier products to repair the skin. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin ^^ I use the one in the tube, I don’t think it’s different but I figured I’d let you know🤷♀️ I’ve stared using a gentle face wash in the morning instead of just water for a little bit of a better cleanse. Been loving this too! Very refreshing CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I’ve started exercising regularly. Every morning. I’m trying to get into doing this because I heard regular healthy habits can Improve the skin (not only the skin though, that’s just one of the benefits!)
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

Help! Differin, Cerave
Hey guys- I’ve started on Differin after struggling years and years with acne Would get tiny bumps that would either stay tiny or get bigger into red pimples I started using CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skinand CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin the second week I started Differin. But I stopped yesterday because I started getting tiny bumps on my forehead (never break out there). I’m assuming it was the Cerave because I’ve read Differin only purges you in areas where you already breakout. Other than that I’m starting to incorporate The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% and The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%AM (1-2x a week). My skin is super dry and sensitive so I’m scared to try new products. Gahhh I feel so hopeless I’ve been living with acne my whole life pretty much. Just would like to see how my face looks without it 😢 any recommendations would be helpful. I have brown/Indian skin btw!

Forehead bumps, I need help!
Hey! I’ve been struggling with these stubborn bumps all over my forehead, between my brows and on my temples for about two years now. I’ve considered that they’re fungal acne but I tried using dandruff shampoo and other zinc products and they simply did nothing. They look to me more like clogged pores. Currently the bumps aren’t at their worst as I don’t have the stress of school but they’re still there and ruin every pic of me. I use to use the phisoderm ph + wash (contains salicylic acid) for about 6 months and FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. This routine did nothing so I switched to the DR. BRONNER'S - Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Liquid Soapand the everyone - Face, Nourishing Moisturizer. I use the Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizerwith SPF in the am. It hasn’t been long enough to see results of these new products but I’ll update if things get better or worse. On top of having these pesky bumps I also have deep rooted blackheads all over my nose, around my lips and on my chin. Hormonal pimples here and there are also common. I feel as though I am pretty healthy, I eat organic and balanced meals (obviously some processed sugar and other foods) and I exercise 2-3 times a week. I’m 15 years old so a lot of my skin concerns could be hormonal. I know there are many worse skin conditions I could have, but these bumps have caused me to be super self conscious and I always feel gross even with makeup on as the texture always shows. If anyone has any product recommendations or anything that might help my skin whether it’s dietary or a change of environment please let me know! I’d really appreciate it as I’ve never seen anyone with the same issue as me or who can give me a clear answer. Thanks!

The perfect facial lotion for rough skin!!
For the longest time I have been looking for a product that would exfoliate my skin without leaving it dry and irritated. My skin is acne prone and sensitive so it was hard to find something that was able to meet my needs while not clogging my pores. After the first use my skin already felt smoother! My dry spots were gone leaving my skin feeling renewed and hydrated without feeling greasy. After only a few uses I had already felt a major change in the texture of my skin. I started using this product once or twice daily about a month ago and currently my forehead and cheeks are now almost completely smooth. I was so surprised to see such positive changes so quickly and the more I use this product, the better my skin feels! This is the perfect lotion if you are looking for something that is lightweight that even provides a smooth and moisturizing base to apply under your makeup. The exfoliating factor of this product allows for the vitamins, minerals, and other moisturizing ingredients to deeply and thoroughly hydrate your skin. I did notice a slight burning sensation during the first couple uses of this product, however, I was using a deep cleansing acne clearing toner at the time that caused my skin to be more sensitive. After I stopped using that product I experienced no further burning or more specifically a tingling sensation while using this product. I LOVE this product and definitely recommend it to others who are looking for an affordable, non-comedogenic, exfoliating lotion to use everyday! Goodbye dry and bumpy skin and hello renewed and glowing skin!!😍😍CeraVe - SA Lotion For Rough & Bumpy Skin
