Worth the money? Worth the hype?
I was super excited to try this after I kept seeing the commercial for it and I love Olay products. This unfortunately hasn’t really done it for me as of yet. I’ve been using it for 2 months straight and haven’t seen any difference in my skin. It does however make my skin so super baby soft which I love. I have dry skin & it definitely takes it away. I was just hoping because of the hype that I would see a difference. Maybe I haven’t used it long enough.
Timeless Skin Serum
Although I’m still in my 20’s, my mom always told me to start using anti aging products early on. I was recently gifted this Timeless Skin Serum by Erno Laszlo (5/5 stars). You use this serum morning and night after cleansing and toning, and allow it to absorb completely into the skin as part of your hydration routine. This serum claims to target the signs of aging by harnessing powerful natural actives while improving skin tone, texture, and precious moisture. For me, especially in the winter time, moister is super important for my skin as it often becomes dry. I noticed results from this product within a few uses. However, for a 1.7 fl. oz. package, $150 is a very steep price point. I personally would not purchase this due to that fact alone. That being said, if you have the money to spend on skincare, this product works wonders.
I will be staying young forever thanks to @meebakbeauty 💕 The Cica serum and moisturizer leave my skin feeling so moisturized and glowy! I have been loving the feel and look of my skin after using their products. You can get them on Amazon, so affordable, and so amazing! I will definitely be ordering more of these.
US version without EX
Sulhwasoo gifted me their first care activating serum a couple of weeks ago! I immediately introduced it into my routine as it claims to boost your other skincare. And it’s a first step product right after cleansing. Right off the bat I really loved the consistency of the product and it did feel great on my skin. I could however smell the alcohol in it and it’s a shame because alcohol is listed quite high up. It didn’t cause any drying for me but that’s mainly because it’s only a first step in my usual routine which is pretty hydrating. Although a nice gentle serum I didn’t notice anything ground breaking. Also this version doesn’t contain EX and has a different formulation which I believe is a downgrade from the original formula. This is quite an expensive product and I personally don’t think it’s necessary, it’s just an added luxury if you can afford it. My skin has been clearing up lately but I’m unsure if I can attribute it to this particular product. Anyways, the packaging is certainly beautiful but I don’t think that justifies purchasing it. I will be using this till it’s finished and seeing if I notice anything.
Antioxidant Serum - Vitamin C (Hello Organics)
This Hello Organics Vitamin C Serum is such an amazing find! I was kindly gifted this serum from Hello Organics back in June! This serum diminishes facial age blemishes and assist in getting rid of dry patches. It also contains antioxidant super charge by providing your skin with the necessary ingredients to defend itself from the invisible aggressors like pollution and and those super harmful UV rays. It’s a clear serum with a semi thick consistency and no scent (clear drops can be seen in picture). I liked this item better now in the colder months as it helps with the dry patches on my face. In the summer I found it to be too much but still an overall effective product. I liked that it leaves my face feeling moisturized and ready to conquer the day! I would recommend this item as it targets so many elements and it’s only $19.95 on Amazon! It’s easy to apply the skin absorbs it right up, just for context I have combination skin. I like the way it feels and will continue to use it and will purchase another bottle once this bottle is done. I give it five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Serum from awareness organic Their products are all natural and vegan. This serum is packed with good things for the skin like prickly pear oil, maracuja oil, rose hip and Argan oil. All these oils work to rejuvenate and restore elasticity to the skin. This serum feels heavenly when applying and sinks into the skin easily without leaving a thick or heavy residue. I also love how the box this product is packaged in is 100% biodegradable and packed into the cardboard are wildflower seeds. You can plant the box in some dirt and with a little water you can watch the wildflowers bloom 🌺 🌸 🌹 .
I was already able to share a review of Urang True Rose Repair Essence and I'm really surprised how well it fits my skin. Rose is an ingredient which is mostly recommended for dry and mature skin but I think it's an ingredient which works for all skin types. It really makes miracles on my skin.
