👩‍🎓 easy grad look tutorial!
If you just graduated, 🎉 congrats grad 🎉!!! If you just want to try this look, you’re welcome here too! Fun fact: this is actually my high school graduation gown. I graduated from university after, but I always liked my grad look. I did one simple thing to make it easy and cute~ 🌺 Complement your eyeshadow to your gown 🌺 I remember being nervous to do my own makeup for graduation. I felt like a makeup bby who didn’t know how to blend well. So I looked up what colors complemented my gown in color theory. And Peach 🍑 went great with green 🍃 So I used matte peach shadow to color block it with my gown. ⭐️ SHORT TUTORIAL ⭐️ *Skipping the base, brow, and primer steps since that’s different for everyone! Use your finger to pack the shadow pigment on your eyelid. Yes, use your (washed, clean lol) finger instead of a brush. It keeps more of the pigment in my experience, and builds faster. You can gently bring leftover pigment to your crease. At this point, it’ll look a little unblended. Now you can blend! Blend your shadow like normal. I used the tiniest amount of brown to deepen the crease and line the lower lid. But I made it subtle so the eyeliner could pop in the next step. Line your eyes (with an angled brush to help) I struggle to get liquid eyeliner crisp and thin. So I use an angle brush to help. When you do the feline flick, don’t complete it with the foam your liner comes with. Use an angle brush to drag it out before its completely dry. And lift your brush while you do it slowly to make it go thinner n thinner. Use the same highlighter for browbone and cheeks Since the shadow is matte, go for all the sparkles you want on this one! ✨ Using the same shade makes you finish and tie the look together faster. Use liquid lipstick, and blot it > applying from the tube Want something that lasts long but feels comfortable? Use your fav liquid lip formula and apply it to your finger. Then blot it on your lips evenly. It’ll make it more comfortable, softer, and still last for the ceremony. 🍑 PRODUCTS USED 🍑 URBAN DECAY - Game of Thrones Eyeshadow Palette I used the shade House Lannister as my centerpiece peach color. Then I used the brown, Nymeria to deepen the crease and lower lid. My highlight (cheeks + brow bone) was King’s Landing- A stunning green-toned gold with flecks of glitter. I don’t think the look would pull together as beautifully without that dramatic highlight. ALMAY - Almay Liquid Eyeliner in Brown This dries fast, but not so fast that you can’t tweak it. It’s one of the few liners that lasts on my oily eyelids, and it’s more flattering than black liner (imo) because it made the look softer. Too Faced - Melted Matte-Tallics Liquid Lipstick in Sell Out. A pink nude that’s deep enough to pop out in photographs. Comfortable enough to mix with gloss.

My everyday makeup look ❣️
I love doing different looks but this is definitely one of my go-to looks for its simplicity yet clean finish ♥️ Here's the list of products i swear by and have used for 2+ years & will continue to repurchase. And i'll also detail how i achieve those fuller lips!: ✨ F O U N D A T I O N ✨ Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation • I have gone through many foundations but none work as well as this one for my acne, for its texture, matte - natural finish, application and wear, plus many other pros! • It's medium - full coverage, but you can easily accomplish a light coverage with it ;) • I use a damp REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge > the beauty blender because it has lasted me WAYY longer, it's easier to clean and doesn't soak up as much of the product! (Clean it after + before each use) 👁 EYES 👁 the Balm cosmetics - Nude 'Tude Eyeshadow Palette • Guys i've been using this palette for 8 years! It's brilliantly addictive and affordable. The colours are so pigmented and natural looking...i need to buy a new one cuz i'm low on my fav colours lol P.S. SECRET TIP: I use two of the browner shades as eyebrow liner/shadow using a thin brush and nobody can ever tell it's eyeshadow! Plus people always compliment me on my fuller brows 🥺 been doing that for 8 yrs ;) (it's this eyeshadow shhh...) ✍🏻 LINER ✍🏻 ALMAY - Almay Liquid Eyeliner • God sent. Literally one of the best drugstore- and just in general- eyeliners that i've ever bought. It's highly pigmented, cheap, long-lasting (weirdly tear proof? and i have watery eyes 👀 💦) • Easy to use, clean off and use for different line sizes! 🐍 L I P SSSS 🐍 Alright ik the moment you've been waiting for... How I achieve them plump lips: 💄 STEP 1: L'ORÉAL - Colour Riche Lipcolour • HOLY GRAIL! Beautiful texture, non sticky- almost feels like a high-end lipstick. And oh my god the COLOUR • Choose the one that matches best to your lip colour but slightly darker, apply lightly, then: 💄 STEP 2: BITE - Cava Lip Collection • Slightly darker than your lipstick • Lightly over-line your lips near the cupid's bow and on the very bottom of your bottom lip. ( Remember, you're not lining your entire lip just the tips ) 💄 STEP 3: MAC - Strip Down Nude Lipglass (smells so gooood) • GLOSS to accentuate the areas you want light to catch AKA the middle of your lips! • Apply on the area just below the lip liner on your top lip, and the middle area above your bottom lip liner And that's it :) That's how I achieve my simple everyday makeup look! Approx: 20 min to do ❣️

Thank you, cherie!
Cherie came through with these Black owned products! Thank you so much for these goodies. GOLDE - Original Turmeric Latte Blend for Skin Glow + Debloat If anyone has suggestions on how they like to prepare this turmeric powder, please let me know! Briogeo - Curl Charisma Rice Amino + Avocado Leave–In Defining Cream First impressions from squeezing a little on my fingers: it’s not sticky and the scent is so nice, not artificial and gross. FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer We love a good gloss! FENTY SKIN - Total Cleans'r Remove-It-All Cleanser I used this last night for the first time and after figuring out how to open it (twist until you hear a click lol) I actually really enjoyed this cleanser. I like the light fragrance a lot more than I expected, especially after trying the spf (scroll through my posts for that review)

Editorial ULTRA COLOR Mask Eye Look
Don’t you guys just love experimenting with color? I figure it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing more editorial eyeshadow looks paired with masks. I went kind of crazy here with this one but I ended up loving it a lot! Wouldn’t wear it to the grocery store though... 😂 Here’s my how to and my thoughts on each product I used: Brows. Brush out your brow hairs. Apply a tinted brow gel and a brow pencil to your liking. I used e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel these are wonderful drugstore options. I have repurchased each of them multiple times and tbh I don’t really understand overspending on brow products. Base. Lightly conceal your eyelid + undereye. I blended it out with my finger. I used Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer which is one of my favorites, however I am no longer supporting milk makeup in light of their past racist actions in their internal corporate culture. I then set the concealer on my eyelid with a neutral powder. The craze begins. I am using the URBAN DECAY - Electric Pressed Pigment Palette which is a holy grail of mine. Highly recommend this if you can get your hands on one. It lasts forever and the pigment is insane. I started out with the shade “jilted” blended out on my lower lash line up into a mini wing with e.l.f. - Eyeshadow "C" Brush —east drugstore brush, I like it a lot. The craze continues. Then I took the shade “gonzo” on MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush —I used this brush as a liner brush— to outline my top liner and my crease for later. Then I blended the blue out upward with my favorite blending brushes MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush MORPHE - M456 Mini Firm Blending Brush . GLITTER! I took the #Tarte - Glitter Liner[products]#[ThreeStars] which is OK IMO but I don’t support Tarte anymore and this burns my eyes. This is the only glitter liner I had tho. Sorry. I took this to line my crease, I have hooded eyes so I went high, and I used it as an outer liner and connected them. Even crazier. Then I took MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush and wet it with MILANI - Make It Last Prime + Correct + Set Setting Spray , dipped it in “jilted” and covered my eyelid with it. Liner + Lashes: Then I took URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen which is my NEW FAV! I lined over our blue line from earlier and drew high and low lines on the wing to leave space for the glitter to poke through a little diamond. I then finished the look with Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara —this is awful, don’t use it—and some extra lil lines I found portrayed lashes in an abstract way. I finished up my repeating on the opposite side with different colors. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun! #CheriePartner

My favorite easy daily eye look
When I say I am no-frills, no-nonsense, usually-roll-out-of-bed-and-wear-no-makeup-during-quarantine-because-duh....I’m not kidding. HOWEVER, when we were in simpler times and I actually left my house for work on a daily basis, and saw people, I actually did my eye makeup. Now when I tell you I have sensitive, dry eyes I am so serious. I have rosacea which affects the face but also can cause super dry eyes, so I have to be careful about the products I use in that area. My favorite daily eye look includes 2 shadows, 1 brush, a liquid liner, and a mascara. Let me tell you THE DEETS... 1. BASE. I will sometimes use my concealer as my eye base but I usually just don’t use one at all. If you prefer to use one, go for it! 2. BASE SHADOW. I typically use one shadow all over applied with my fingertip. Today I used the shade “natural peaches” from the Tarte/Grav3yardgirl eyeshadow palette, which is no longer for sale but you can use any neutral matte shadow that matches your skin tone. 3. CREASE. I take the same bronzer I’m using on my face, dip my super fluffy Morphe M433 brush into it, and windshield-wiper it into my crease and kind of create an outer V shape with it. The bronzer I’m using today is the Fenty powder bronzer in “shady biz”: FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush I use this super fluffy brush since I have hooded eyes and need to create an overdramatic crease or else you wouldn’t see any shadow! 4. LOWER LASH LINE. After deepening my crease, I take the same brush and lightly run it under my lower lash line. Blend blend blend! 5. LINER. I use a brush-tip liquid liner to create a super tiny line with the smallest wing along the outer half of my upper lash line. I will usually use brown, but all I have is black. Today I used the URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen which is nice but it did sting my eyes a little bit. The pain went away fairly quickly though so I still use it. 6. MASCARA. I try to use a non-dramatic mascara that won’t clump. Any mascara will do! Today I used the new Lash Freak by Urban Decay URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara i haven’t been using it long enough to give a super detailed review but I really don’t like the wand. I might actually just use a different wand with it since I like the formula so far. I used this on my upper and lower lashes! What are your go-go products for your daily eye look? #CheriePartner

Saying Goodbye 👋🏼
This past year I’ve been very aware of my purchases and also very cautious about what I’m bringing into my makeup/beauty collection. Every once and a while I will do a little bit of a declutter and make sure I’m only keeping the things that I’m using on a weekly, or at least monthly basis. This most recent declutter I noticed these two products and realized I haven’t reached for them in months. OFRA - OFRA Highlighter is a beautiful formula- it’s what makes these so many people’s favorite highlighter, it easily glides over the top of whatever product you have underneath and gives you an intense glow. The only reason I’m getting rid of this is because my taste in highlighters have changed and I now like much more soft, more of a “lit from within” type of glow. A couple highlighters that I love and give me this effect are the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Irresistible Glow Highlighter Collection & my ride or die MAYA CHIA - The Highlight of the Day The #SGX NYC - So Whipped[products]#[FourStars] is a whipped mousse formula that is supposed to calm frizz, define natural curls, and create a little bit of hold- I do think that this does all of these things, but it’s in the smallest way and I have so many other products that give me better results! Currently I’m obsessed with the eva·nyc - Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer it smells unbelievable and gives my hair such a smooth texture without getting weighed down! The spray nozzle gives the lightest diffused mist so it’s very difficult to overdo it and use too much, highly highly recommend this one! I’ve found regular declutters and being deliberate about what products I bring into my collection really helpful. It’s let me find what my personal taste is and which products I’ll tend to gravitate for and will actually use on a daily basis!

Setting Powder + Dry Skin
Laura Mercier I heard alot of hype about this setting powder from Laura Mercier and wanted see to try if it worth the hype. When using this powder I first by doing my eyebrows first for my makeup routine. Next I put concealer around my eyebrows to have a cleaner look. Then I wait for the concealer to dry a little bit, then I put setting powder with using a blending brush so it's easily spread all over my eyelid and brow. I love doing this method because it makes a perfect canvas for my eyelid to add eyeshadow. After applying the eyeshadows and eyeliner, next put foundation and concealer or anything else that is wet I wait for it to dry. Then I use a big puffy brush and add the same powder all over my face not too much because it will cause dryness. Then after applying I will use the same brush but to wipe a little bit off my face like I said it does cause drying. Overall I like using it in a day I have for occasion that I want to look snatched but for me myself an everyday use I don't use too much of this product. Don't forget to like and follow for more😘😘😘 And also follow my Instagram Page at @sweet_citrustea

4 Steps to a Cute Eyeglasses Makeup Look 🤓
If you wear glasses, it's easy to feel like you can hide behind your frames. Glasses can still be a great accesory to bring attention to your face and accentuate your facial features. The key is to wear makeup that will enhance your features, as well as complement your choice of glasses. I love my Gucci glasses – it comes in a classic rectangle shape and color that flatters my round face. Here are my top tips to look extra chic wearing glasses: 1. Conceal ❗️ Glasses can cast shadows on the eyes, especially under the eyes. Make sure that that doesn’t happen to you by always applying some concealer or corrector with a brush, under your eyes where your skin is dark. Then apply concealer on top of it along the lower lash line, starting on the outside and going all the way over to the inner eye. Dapping some on the inner corner right next to your nose will also help open up the eyes. I’m using my trusty liquid concealer L’oreal True Match that glides across the skin around the eyes smoothly without causing fine lines. L'ORÉAL - True Match the One Concealer 2. Brows! Having a set of well-defined brows above your glasses will ensure that your eyes don’t “disappear” behind your glasses. Instead of bringing the tale of your brow downwards at the end, elongate it so that the tip flares out towards your ears, which will help to lift the brow for a more youthful appearance. I am so pleased with Youngblood On Point Brow Defining Pencil. Available in 3 shades, the compact pencil can fill, shape, and define brows all in one pen. The formula contains Vitamin E & C with skin conditioning agents to deliver a pigment rich color to build and intensify brows easily. My brows stay sweat-proof, smudge-free with a natural matte finish. US$28 YOUNGBLOOD - On Point Brow Defining Pencil 3. Eyeliner Eyeliners are great to define the shape of your eyes, especially if you want to highlight their shape when wearing glasses. You want to focus on the outer corner of your eye. Start with your upper lash line, then repeat this step on your lower lash line, still focusing only on the outer corner of the eye. Then, connect the two lines to form a defined shape. I like to lift the end of my eyeliner for a more defined shape too. The Clinque Liquid Eyelining Pen does the trick with a slim pen shape that’s easy to grab. The tapered, precision brush paints on a pure, deep colour from thin to thick. It is also 24-hour smudge and budge-resistant wear. Love! US$23 CLINIQUE - Quickliner for Eyes Intense Eyeliner Pencil 4. Mascara Ensuring that your lashes are long and curled will go a long way. Apply mascara in smooth strokes making sure you get right to the root of the lash. With glasses, you don't want to go crazy with mascara, just one or two coats to get a nice tint of color and pop will go a long way. I’m a fan of Maybelline mascaras, Colossal for volume and Stilletto for unbelievable length. Both glides are so easy to use and affordable.

LASHES 101 👏🏻
I never wore fake lashes until recently. I have a friend that wears them daily and they really change the game to your whole look! I tried lash extensions Once and it just wasn’t for me. Fake lashes can be a pain sometimes, but if you practice and get good at it then it is worth it! My eye size is normal and I have an almond shaped eye! For me I love a wispie and v-cluster lash! Sometimes I also like a tapered lash to give me a “cat-eye” look. 🙀 How to apply lash: 1. Meausure on your eye and trim the lash according to how big or small your eye is. 2. Apply glue along the band. 3. Most important!!! Wait until the glue is tacky. Depending on the glue this will take 15-30 seconds. *if glue has not dried to the tacky stage it is almost impossible to get the lash to sit correctly and last 4. Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler while glue dries. 5. Use tweezers or a eyelash applicator to apply the fake lash on top of your lash line! 6. Do other lash while this one dries. 7. Repeat 1-5 on other lash. 8. Go back and use mascara to bind your real lash to the fake lash. 9. Sometimes I add eyeliner to the beginning of my eye to make the eye look more cohesive. #cheriepartner

2020 Summer “Sweet Treats” Themed Makeup
2020 Summer “Sweet Treats” Themed Makeup
For those of us who live in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer is just around the corner, and things are already heating up, and it’s not just the weather, honey! In the next few months, half the world will be heading into springtime, and that brings fresh fashion, bright colours, and fierce makeup with it. Here’s how you can create a quick, easy, “sweet treats” themed makeup look to match your shining summertime personality. Complexion Work: For my base makeup, I used REVOLUTION - Fast Base Stick Foundation in shade F3. I concealed with the help of REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer in shade C1. I contoured my cheeks using Revlon Sculpt & Highlight Contour Kit, in shade light/medium. I then applied a soft layer of Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette shade Leena. I also used NYX - Strobe of Genius Holographic Stick in “Mermaid Amour” for an iridescent shine. Colourful Sweet Treats Eye Makeup: Moving on to the eyes, I used theMORPHE - The James Charles Palette for the whole look. I started off by packing on “Pinkity Drinkity” onto the inner half of my eyelid and crease. I then took a light dab of “Skip”, then more Pinkity Drinkity on the same brush to deepen the shade slightly and make it more of a soft but vibrant pink. For darker skin tones, you may want to use more Skip to create a brighter colour. Next up is shade “518”, which I took on a small blending brush and packed onto the outer corner of my eyelid, sweeping inward diagonally toward my lash line. Similarly, I pulled that orange shade outwards towards the tail of my brow, and softly blended it into my pink shadows. I also pulled some of 518 onto the outer third of my lower lash line. To complete the lower lash line, I used shade “Bee” to bring some lightness and brightness to the inner portion of my eye, blending it into 518 along the way. For a final pop of summery colour, I packed shade “Hello” onto a small pencil brush, and spritzed it with a setting spray, before packing it onto the inner corner of my eye. The super shiny effect of the shadow and its lustrous, tropical colour really added a fun and fabulous edge to the themed look. I finished the eyes off with a little black eyeshadow on the outer half of my upper lash line, and some MAYBELLINE - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara on my lashes, and there you have it! A quick, easy summer makeup look for all levels of makeup lovers. Would you like to see some “how to guides” for more wearable, colourful looks? Comment what colours you’d like to learn how to wear during the daytime!

SUMMER 2020 RED LIP MAKEUP LOOK
SUMMER 2020 RED LIP MAKEUP LOOK
Hey fam, here's a look that I never get sick of, especially for summer. I actually wore this exact look for my wedding last week 💍 It was perfect for the short ceremony at the city hall and formal enough for a nice dinner after. IMO you can never go wrong with simple eye makeup and a classic cool toner red lip! Here are the products I used: wet n wild - Photofocus Liquid Matte Foundation This is such a great affordable foundation that just works. I don't find it's very high coverage but that's exactly what I prefer. e.l.f. - Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush This makeup brush makes putting on foundation SO fast. It's actually converted me from makeup sponges back to brushes! URBAN DECAY - Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion Always makes eyeshadow last so much longer! NARS - Blush/Bronzer Duo I actually don't tend to use this as bronzer, but rather as eyeshadow. It's the perfectly slightly warm brown for a summery wash of colour over the eyelids. L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara This is the most impressed I've been with a Western drugstore mascara for a while! However I do find it does flake a little towards the end of the day. MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil I like how thin this is, again it makes everything so quick and easy for a great brow. benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel It took me a while to learn how to use this for my brows! It's a great brow gel but honestly overpriced for what it is. MAC - Ruby Woo Lip Duo My favourite red lip, ever. My lipstick version is actually from the limited edition Collab that Rihanna did with MAC. the Balm cosmetics - Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer Highlighter i have had this for so long, you can see it's well loved! Its my favourite highlighter, perfect for my skin tone.

The picture on the left was taken with natural lighting in the picture on the right is taken with artificial lighting. This is why when I'm blessed enough to do so,. ALSO: I had to pick the thumbnail on the right where I'm making this weird face because it reminds me of Chris Pratt. 😂

Best eyebrow and eyelash gel f
Best eyebrow and eyelash gel for CAD $2.99. I started using this product about 4 years ago and still use it today. I started using it for my eyelashes to separate and as a base before applying mascara. I then started using it to set my eyebrows. It can be used in two ways: 1) use it after filling in your eyebrows OR 2) use it after filling in your eyebrows, apply powder to set your eyebrows and then using this gel. This product is the best, it does not dry out and does not get clumpy. I would honestly recommend this product 100%. You cannot go wrong by spending $2.99 on this product. It can be used on any skin tone and on any skin colour. The gel can be used to separate lashes and you do not have to use mascara. It really helps to lengthen the lashes and make the mascara process a lot easier. As you can see in my picture, my eyelashes are separated and look long and healthy, my eyebrows are set as well. My eyebrows had been done for 8 hours and did not move, as seen in the last picture. essence - Lash & Brow Gel Mascara REVLON - Photoready Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation DOSE OF COLORS - DOSE OF COLORS Liquid Matte Lipstick MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder
