blonde upkeep on Asian hair ✨
I went from virgin black hair at the roots to a light ashy blonde in one session! For most this might be extremely damaging. Luckily, I have an amazing stylist that was able to lift my hair without causing any major damage. That being said here are the products I’ve been loving since going blonde: amika: - Bust Your Brass Cool Blonde Shampoo If you have blonde hair it is a MUST to use purple shampoo! It tones down any brass tones. I love this one by Amika and use just a little dime size amount mixed with my every day shampoo. OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector This is an amazing product for smoothing hair follicles while strengthening too. I love this product! However, I feel that it’s pretty spendy for the amount you get in one bottle. OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo OLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner Love this shampoo and conditioner duo. I have naturally straight and frizzy hair, but this duo has helped smooth my hair entirely and help maintain the color. OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme The smell of this product is to die for 🤩 I use this after I shower and towel dry. A little bit goes a long way with this! BEACHWAVER Co. - Pro Rotating Curling Iron Love the beach waver, but dislike the price. You can achieve the same style of waves with a regular curler. However, I can style all of my hair in less than 15 min with this. It’s all about convenience in my opinion.
What you should know to fight hair tangles
I guess that probably no one hasn't experienced struggling with hair tangles, especially girls with long hair. Actually, a deep-rooted reason for hair knots is the lack of moisture in the hair. We pay much attention to the condition of our skin everyday, but we often ignore that hair also loses moisture easily. It’s moisture loss that leads to dry, frizzy and tangled hair. So hair moisturizing is very important to get rid of tangles. Want to detangle your hair without damaging it? First and foremost, nourish and hydrate your hair. By what? By good shampoo and conditioner. I’m a big fan of Olaplex OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance ShampooOLAPLEX - No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner, its core ingredient Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate can identify and repair disulfide bond, which plays an important role in the structure and stability of hair keratin. And keratin is the key to make your hair light, anti-detangle, bringing silky shine and texture. Maybe you can give this brand a shot. Then, here are what require your attention in daily hair care: Apply conditioner before washing it If your hair easily get tangled before washing, apply hair conditioner on the ends and gently comb with your fingers for 3 minutes, to make hair smooth and soft, then follow your usual routine of shampooing and conditioner. This can reduce pulling your hair to detangle and actually achieve better cleaning effect. Don't rub your hair in a towel In order to let the hair dry more quickly, many girls wrap their hair with dry towel and rub vigorously. STOP! Rubbing hair is one of the reasons that causes a hair tangles and even damages your hair quality. You’d better gently cover and let the dry towel “absorb” the moisture on your hair. Make good use of hair oil Some girls may be not patient enough to detangle hair and pull, comb their hair by force. As you pull your hair, your scalp gets pulled too, and the hair roots will become looser and looser, which automatically leads to hair loss. If you hair get tangled in ordinary times, you can apply a small amount of hair oil to the knotted part and gently rub the tangles to help smooth the hair. If you really fail to detangle, use scissors to cut off it and just say goodbye. Hair sunscreen Exposed to the sun for too long, the moisture in the hair and protein will lose fast andeasily, then hair can become inelastic, tangle and break easily.
The best hair products!!
Let me just start off by saying @olaplex is Amazing!! ! I bought N°3,4,5,6,7 and use it as a once a week routine. My Hair feels absolutely amazing! It is pricey, but worth my money! There all just beyond amazing! My favorite of course is Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 it’s sooo good I need 10 bottles to stock up! . . I definitely recommend these products! It worked wonders for my hair which is dyed, and highlighted often, styled daily with tools, so gets very dry! My hair is softer, shiny, and looks a lot healthier because I haven’t had much breakage! . . When using No3 I use once week and leave it on overnight or couple hours all depends!! I typically wash my hair every 3 days because I color my hair I don’t want the color or highlights to fade! . . No. 3 Hair Perfector is not a conditioner, it’s an at-home treatment that contains the same active ingredient found in all professional Olaplex products! This formula is made to work with every hair type, providing real, structural repair that works from within! . No. 4 Shampoo repairs and protects hair from everyday stresses—including damaged hair, split ends, and frizz—by re-linking broken bonds. No.4 is color-safe and proven to reduce breakage and strengthen all types of hair! . No. 5 Bond Conditioner is for all hair types and leaves hair easy to manage, shiny, and healthier with each use. It is color-safe, leaves hair stronger than ever, and benefits all hair types and textures! . No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme is excellent for all hair types—including colored and chemically-treated hair. No. 6 strengthens, hydrates, moisturizes, and speeds up blow dry times while smoothing and eliminating frizz for up to 72 hours! . Olaplex No. 7 repairs, strengthens, and hydrates all hair types. It dramatically increases shine, softness, and color vibrancy, while minimizing flyaways and heat protection up to 450°F/ 230°C. It works on all hair types and textures! . #olaplex #olaplextreatment

SAVED MY HAIR
Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 is such a savior if you have damaged or color-treated hair. It is a concentrated hair treatment suitable for all hair types. What’s different aboout Olaplex No. 3 is that rebuilds and strengthens your hair from the INSIDE. Most hair treatments just mask the damage temporarily. This treatment, with consistent use, will rebuild and strengthen your hair to make it healthier. I decided to start lightening my hair last year to achieve a blonde balayage. As you may or may not know, going lighter from dark hair takes a long time and a lot of color sessions to achieve a blonde look. This means I have put my hair under bleach damage countless times to achieve my color. I started using No. 3 about 7 months ago and my hair is the healthiest it has EVER been. It takes time to see amazing results, but even after one or two uses I could tell my hair felt stronger. Olaplex has a system that numbers from 1-7 now. •1 & 2-Can be used in the salon where your stylist adds it directly to your hair color formulation. •3-Bond Rebuilder Home Treatment (pictured). •4 & 5-Shampoo & Conditioner •6-Bond Smoother Styling Cream •7-Bonding Oil Olaplex is not cheap. For the bottle shown, 3.3 oz is $28. I have gone through countless bottles and recently stocked up during the sephora sale. You apply a generous amount of product to wet hair (very important) and let it dry down, they say 10 minutes is enough. However, I usually sleep on it and do a jojoba/tea tree scalp treatment the same night. Overall, if you have damaged or colored hair and want stronger hair this is the best product on the market that you can buy for your hair. Holy-grail status. OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector

💧Hair mask awards💧
💧I decided to get together my hair masks & decide my favorite & which ones really work! All three of these smell delicious & clean. Two are full size one is a travel, but all work & all are similar in price. 💧What are the claims? •Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment - A powerful silicone free conditioner treatment that nurtures dry, damaged hair for long lasting shine, softness & smoothness. It is for all hair types & textures. It is a cream formula & the key benefits are to reverse damage & protects against heat & split ends while moisturizing. •Amika the Kure Intense Repair Mask - An intensive weekly treatment that instantly repairs & resuscitates dry, damaged, over stressed hair. It is for all hair types & textures. It is a cream formula & it’s key benefits are improving manageability, reinforces & strengthens the hair, & restores & softens. •Madam CJ Walker Inches Reconstructing protein mask- A hair treatment made with Carolina rice protein & azalea, which help rebuild dry, damaged & brittle hair. It is a thick cream formula, For all textures hair types. & formulated for frizz, damage, breakage, & split ends. 💧My thoughts/Opinions? I personally love all of these masks, and they are all my favorite in one way or another! I’ve had the Amika & Living proof mask before so I know I love them already. The Inches mask was new to me, but has quickly become one of my favorite masks. They all leave my hair feeling hydrated & soft. Let’s get into the reasons they won their awards! After several weeks of using the Living proof for the first time I saw lasting results in my hair, it does exactly what it says it does. My hair wasn’t breaking anymore & felt so moisturized The smell is amazing, and Living proof has one of my favorite scents. Their products all really work & im so glad I’ve had this mask to help repair my damaged hair Next, the most nourishing mask, the Amika mask, is something I use if my hair is feeling extra tangled or dry & brittle! I use this if I have used extra heat on my hair during the week & my hair is so much softer & smoother. It is a thick mask, so it penetrates very deep & leaves your hair feeling bomb. Madam CJ walker hair mask, is best for when I want to wear my hair naturally curly/wavy. This hydrated & defines my curls so nicely. It doesn’t make them poofy or frizzy. It manages them so well & it smells like flowers. I also like the small squeeze tube it makes it easy to get the product out of the container. 💧Price VsSize? •Living Proof - $38 for 6.7 oz of product •Amika - $38 for 8 oz of product •Madam CJ Walker - $26 for 6oz of product Madam CJ walker is the most price friendly & it is my favorite for curly hair! So I will defiantly be purchasing the full size product when I run out of this one! I got the chance to learn from Chad Kenyon who is a celebrity colorist and olaplex brand ambassador who taught me some tricks and tips!! Olaplex is the original bond builder, they actually have patented technology that repairs broken bonds in your hair. I personally have never thought to use olaplex because I have unprocessed hair. But what I learnt that even a hair tie can cause damage! So even if your hair is not dyed you can use olaplex! After using olaplex I noticed my hair was not as frizzy and hydrated! I find a lot of hair products weigh my hair down or feels greasy after but I did not see any of this when using olaplex. I personally recommend and if you have any favourite hair products you would like to share please comment below!! Im always looking to try new things! Let me know if you want more information on all the products id be happy to chat! styling oil, increases shine, softness and color vibrancy, minimizes frizz and fly-aways, provides heat protection up to 450 degrees F I have been using this oil for a few months, and omg I’ll always have this in my hair routine. It really does exactly what it says it’s going to do. _____________________________________________ ⭐️performance | full star | noticed results after first use, tested twice without using in routine and shine decreased as well as ends looking frayed . ⭐️texture | full star | super lightweight, blends into hair nicely without leaving hands greasy . ⭐️scent | full star | subtle, but it smells soooo good . ⭐️packaging | no star | non-recyclable plastic, would be much more user friendly with a sprayer or pump ⭐️ingredients | .75 star | unclear on sourcing of some ingredients . ⭐️value | full star | $28 seems steep, but I’ve only used about a fourth of the bottle in six months. I use it every wash, 6-10 drops . .
