Dealing with humidity hair 😱
If you’re like me and have hair that loves to expand in humidity and also live in a place with very humid summers, you know the struggle of finding products that take the fluff without making your hair look weighed down! I recently started using the gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil

Honey Hair Heaven
So I have been seeing this hair oil on here ever since I started using this app 9 months ago. I had always wanted to try it, but the price tag kept me at bae. However, after becoming enthralled with Farmacy’s Honey line, and using a DIY honey hair mask, I knew that I needed these products in my life. Gisou’s owner, Negin, has a family owned and operated beehive! How cool is that? It makes me believe that this product contains the highest quality and freshest honey on the market. So how did I like it? Fragrance: Let me start by saying the fragrance, is fantastic. It revivals Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Cream, which is my favorite scent of all my products. It has sweet honey notes, but also some floral that makes me nostalgic about my mom’s perfume. Texture: the honey hair oil feels less greasy than most hair oils and has some thickness to it. The mask is thick, rich, and creamy. It almost seems whipped. Hydration: the oil kicks dry hair’s butt! You only need to use a little bit and concentrate it on your ends if you are prone to getting oily. Tips and tricks: Oil: I use the hair oil as the last step of my post-shower hair routine. I only use it on the bottom 2/3 of my hair, concentrating on the ends. I only use 1-2 drops. Mask: the mask is to be applied to roots and ends, after shampooing, and left on for 5 minutes. It is also encouraged to mix a drop or two of the oil into the mask if you own it. Since this hydrating mask was applied to my roots, without using a product to help remove residue after, it left my hair a little weighed down. (I never use a mask on my roots without shampooing after, so this was no big surprise.) However, I found the perfect routine to fix this. I have to double shampoo because I have a medicated shampoo for my psoriasis that smells like 🤬 so I always follow up with a regular hydrating shampoo. I used this mask in between my 2 shampoos, so I could apply it to clean hair but also remove the buildup. I then followed up with a conditioner. If your hair doesn’t get weighed down easily, you might be able to use it per instructions, however, this method left my hair soft and hydrated without feeling weighed down! Just perfect 🤩
Gisou Honey Infused Haircare Set
gisou - Honey Infused Haircare Set gisou - Hair mask gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil gisou - Honey Infused Conditioner gisou - Honey Infused Hair Wash I’ve been wanting to try this for SO long so I’m glad Sephora had a set of minis on sale! I’ve used this every day since Christmas and I love it! These all smell so good and have left my hair soft and hydrated. My favorite thing is the Honey Infused Hair Oil, a little goes a looooooong way and makes my hair so shiny and smooth. I absolutely love it! I’d want to try the bigger sizes and maybe the hair perfume too. And the primer. Just all of it. I’ll try all of it
best & blah hair products @ Sephora 🌟
BEST & BLAH 👉🏻 Sephora Edition 😌🙌🏼 We all know the holy grail products we can find at Sephora. For me, I flock to the shelves for Ouai, a haircare line quite popular in the IG community 💡Before trying out their line, I was always skeptical of the value in their products. Come on, is this really worth it? I was an avid fan of it's a 10 haircare - Leave-In Conditioner Spray Product , my holy grail for my wavy, thick hair (which, is extremely damaged!) I could always count on that single product after washing my hair to smooth my hair and aid in softening my ends. Eventually, I had to try out Ouai haircare. After bleaching my hair to its absolute end, I knew I needed to find quality products when it came to styling my hair. My hair had always been picky with the products it uses, especially when it came to styling products. Sticky, thick and too drying formulas turn me off. So, when needing to find my “best and blah,” I knew I had to put Ouai in the hot seat. 1. OUAI - OUAI Wave Spray This one left my hair tacky, even with a minimal amount of product sprayed on. My waves weren’t much defined as they would be without this product. This one is $12 (small bottle) at Sephora. Worth it? No, not in my opinion. A better alternative is NOT YOUR MOTHER'S - Beach Babe Soft Waves Spray . 2. OUAI - OUAI Volume Spray Hmmm.. perhaps my hair is thick enough to have volume already. Nevertheless, I was not a huge fan of this volume spray. I used it before blowing my hair out and all it did for me was add more product onto my hair, no volume. Worth it? No 😭 I tried my best to like this product but I can’t bring myself to pay $26. 3. OUAI - Dry Shampoo Foam A NEW DRY SHAMPOO FAVORITE! I love this formula (mousse-like) and the smell. It leaves a refreshing and cooling feeling on my scalp. Worth it? YES. I’ll definitely be buying this again, worth the $28! 4. gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil This is a great hair oil, don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed the packaging, the consistency and the result of my hair after smoothing this into it; HOWEVER, $46 doesn’t sit right with me for a hair oil so is it worth it? Not for me. 5. eva·nyc - Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer I enjoyed the smell and lightweight spray of the nozzle, offering a lighter application of the product. But, too much and your hair gets STICKY. Beware of the amount you use. If used right, it’s worth your time. Worth it? $12 for a great heat protectant is worth it to me! 6. gisou - Propolis Infused Polishing Primer Ehhhh, I couldn’t find the value in this for me. I heard a lot of people talk about their hair feeling smoother after styling once using this; however, I personally couldn’t notice a difference. I loved the creamy texture but I can’t purchase it again. Worth it? $34 isn’t worth it for me 😭
Trying out their hair oil & primer! 🛁 Here’s my current hair situation: I have naturally wavy hair but it’s currently bleached all over and dyed a pastel pink so it’s extremely damaged at the moment 😫🥺🤡 I lost my waves and have been using ApHogee - Two-Step Protein Treatment once a month & coconut oil treatments to keep it ok 🥺 Here’s how I plan to use the products: For the primer, I’ll be applying it on freshly washed hair while it’s damp. I don’t need much but I run my fingers through my hair to “loosely” brush through while applying the primer throughout. This is to set me up for my next step. For the hair oil, after styling, I like to warm this up and apply on dry hair. It says it can be used on damp but I found I have much more luck and interest in using it on dry hair. These are quite pricey and I want to see how it matches up to my “It’s a 10!” leave in that I freaking swear by. Let’s see the longevity of the quality & if the tag is worth it. For a more in depth review, it’ll be on my IG: @thesnoopdoggfanpage 😊✨ Also, for more cute shots, come over too 🍓🥺
MUST HAVE oil for damaged hair👉👉
HAIR rituel by sisley - Precious Hair Care Oil Glossiness & Nutrition WHAT IT IS: The Precious Hair Care Oil provides nutrition, radiance and softness to the hair. WHAT IT DOES: A blend of passionfruit oil, shea oil, cotton oil and moringa oil smooth and envelope the hair to bounce light across the fiber and create shine. Has a light texture that will not weigh hair down. HOW TO USE IT: Apply a small amount to the mid-lengths and ends of damp or dry hair. Smoothed and nourished, the hair is immediately enhanced. People have commented on the price but it’s a MASSIVE bottle which should last a year. I have had quite a few samples of this oil and have been very impressed with the very nourishing and smoothing properties. It improves the texture of the hair/leaves a sheen and beautifully soft. I will purchase one later as I feel it would last a long time as it is quite concentrated and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t weigh down hair or make it greasy. It controls frizz but doesn’t spoil curls. I love it and wouldn’t use any other brand now. After using it, i became a big fan of Sisley’s hair products!! I’ve been using shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, but this one is my favorite. It satisfies me! I’ve never disappointed of them So I didn’t hesitate to use this hair oil. It’s fantastic! It’s like made it for private user. Absolutely resolve my problems. The texture is thick but not on your hair especially for someone has fine and curly hair.Absorb quickly.heavenly fantastic fragrance. You can use after shampoo without using conditioner or hair mask. It give your hair softness, shining and volume!!

Glossy, Frizz-Free Hair for a Night Out
I have thick, wavy hair that is often a heavy puff of frizz, between my love of baseball caps and my lack of skill in styling. But my husband loves to take me out on dates and my go-to look for date nights is surprisingly easy: silky, glossy hair parted to the side. 1. Prep: I start by including amika: - 3D Volume and Thickening Shampoo and amika: - 3D Volume and Thickening Conditioner in my shower routine! This is my go-to shampoo and conditioner combo- it helps my hair retain movement but doesn’t make it unnecessarily frizzy. 2. Protection: After air-drying, I coat my hair in a thin layer of 2-3 pumps of amika: - Blockade Heat Protectant Serum to protect my hair from heat damage. 3. Separate: I take a moment to separate my thick af hair into three layers with a wide-tooth comb: crown, middle, nape. Crown is pulled into a small ponytail, then middle joins it- I use a clip to hold them up! 4. Straighten: I’m lazy and also clumsy, so I prefer the amika: - Polished Perfection Thermal Straightening Brush 2.0 to traditional stylers. It allows for an even heat distribution and easy experience that makes styling much less daunting for someone who burns themself with flat irons often. After slowly brushing through the lowest layer once, I let down the middle section. Slowly brush through it all again. Then the crown comes down and I brush through it all twice, making sure to begin towards my roots to help heat-tame the usual frizz. I add a twist to the brush whenever I near the ends, to give my hair more shape/movement. 5. Extra Gloss: Because I love hi-shine when I straighten, I rub a quarter-size amount of amika: - Glass Action Hydrating Hair Oil Universal Elixir between my palms and distribute it evenly over my hair, focusing mainly on my ends and the middle shaft of the hair. Done! Weightless shine!

HOLY GRAIL DEFINING CURL CREAM‼️
cake - The Curl Friend Defining Curl Cream For reference, I have type 3A curls and thin hair strands. So, I was going to wait for a couple of more uses with this product, but I just HAD to make this post after using it for the first time because WOW I’M SUPER IMPRESSED! I headed out to buy my usual aussie - Miracle Curls with Coconut Oil Paraben Free Detangling Milk Treatment , but they ran out of stock, and that’s when I stumbled upon this cake - The Curl Friend Defining Curl Cream . After long due diligence, I decided to buy it because it’s vegan (no harsh chemicals, parabens and/or sulfates) and it also won an allure’s best of beauty award in 2019. The packaging is beautiful, and, when I opened it after washing my hair, I couldn’t help but notice the lovely and amazing smell that was coming out of this. It’s definitely sweet, but not overwhelming at all. Once I tried it, I noticed that the cream felt so smooth, silky, & lightweight (great for thin hair strands). It has avocado oil, soybean oil, and shea butter in it! It seems like this is definitely the perfect combination (for now) for my hair. I’ve shied away from butter mostly because it can be too heavy for my thin strands, but I guess that having it in smaller quantities works great. My hair is so SHINY, DEFINED, and VOLUMINOUS, and smells like CAKE. I mean, look at it! I can definitely say that this is my NUMBER 1 defining cream. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, please let me know how it feels if you try it. I am definitely going to try more cake products in the near future after finding this holy grail.

Magic in a bottle✨
This hair oil is literally magic in a bottle✨ And how beautiful it is😍 Quick backstory on my hair- I have such a frizzy hair. Oily at the scalp and dry at the ends. My major concern is frizz, dullness and split ends. I have long hair and haven’t had a haircut since months. I permanently straightened it two years ago which was a great experience. But my hair now is back to how it was. Wavy , frizzy, unmanageable and dry at the ends. This honey infused hair oil doesn’t make my hair oily or greasy and that’s what I love the most about it. It calms down my frizz and makes my hair softer and shinier. My hair has never felt this softer and manageable ever. I use a few drops on my wet hair and my hair dries down so soft and frizz-free. I mostly do not use a blow dryer. I hardly use any heat. I also use this as touch ups. It has basically given a life to my dead and damaged looking hair. It has quickly become a staple in my haircare routine. And ohhh it smells heavenly!!!

Say “BYE” to your rough hair!
I have unfortunately been cursed with rough, thick, coarse hair. With my hair, you will only ever see me in a ponytail or a messy bum, because I am unable to deal with it most of the time. And the few times I need to look a little presentable, I need a clear window of at least three hours in my schedule to be able to work my hair into a decent hairstyle. This being said, I have tried a lot of things to fix my hair, and I have settled on the following solutions. For the first one, I have to mention my trusted hair conditioner, the REDKEN - All Soft Conditioner. I purchased this product about three months ago for $27, and I can tell a huge progress in the texture of my hair. Before, as you can see in the images, my hair was frizzy and a coarse mess. But after using this conditioner twice a week for the last three months, I have seen a HUGE positive difference! It smells so good with a coconut flavour, and the conditioner applies smoothly on to the hair. The second product I really love to use when I need to tame my hair is the MOROCCANOIL - Hydrating Styling Cream. I got this at Sephora for $34 about the same time that I got my _ conditioner. It might seem pricy, but the product lasts a while and actually works for my hair type! I started by using this product before styling using heat, but I prefer to use it after every wash as I see that my hair gets smooth and easy to style that way. It smells great too. My hair used to be dull and dry after washes, but since I got this, the frizz is controlled and my hair is sleek and shiny, and it also feels so healthy! Don’t double think about getting this, 10/10 recommend it!
