The Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer
is a SAVIOR for dry skin. I am really happy with how how well this is working for me. This moisturizer is vegan (clearly by the name) and fragrance free which is something I love. It’s meant to hydrate and nourish the skin. No actives in this, just a good moisturizing concoction. I will say, I was nervous it was going to cause serious breakouts when I first opened it because SHE THICC. This cream is sort of like a body butter in consistency. But after using it for weeks, no noticeable breakouts other than my usual stuff. In terms of what skin type, I would definitely say it’s geared toward super dry skin. It is extremely moisturizing and left my skin feeling soft after using it but not greasy at all. I don’t know if someone with oily skin would like how heavy this feels so if you are oily, I would say try a sample first. I also am a little nervous about the consistency going into summer. I am hoping it doesn’t melt off my face, but we shall see. For now, it leaves my skin feeling absolutely silky and amazing. I can use it both morning and night easily. It works well when mixing an oil into it as well. The packaging is cute too, but it doesn’t come with a scoop, so make sure you have your own if you plan on purchasing. Overall, this worked really well for me and I would recommend it to anyone with super dry skin looking to add some moisture back

simplicity is key?
life can very easily get in the way sometimes. this can be so severe that, at least in my case, i end up sacrificing things like my skincare routine or other self care, thus making my skin worse and giving me ANOTHER reason to be stressed out. this being said, i’ve abandoned a lot of steps of my routines (which were sometimes 6 steps long!!) to help make my routine quicker and more manageable. am + pm i use these products in this order: cleanse: Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Cleanser or THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser tone: THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner (i use this every other night) serum/oil: e.l.f. - All the Feels Facial Oil eye cream: zero by skin academy (tried adding this as a new item multiple times but i give up typing it all in every time) moisturizer: e.l.f. - Happy Hydration Cream or Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer (i usually opt for the milk one at night as it is thicker and heavier) spot treatment: THE inkey LIST - Succinic Acid Acne Treatment (not pictured) sunscreen: live clean mineral face sunscreen SPF 45 #cheriecreator

AFTER PARTY : first impressions
Milk MAKEUP - After Party Skincare Set for $43 CAD, i purchased this set of skincare products from Milk Makeup through Sephora. here is a first impressions of all products you get as listed below: 59ml of Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Cleanser regular price $20 CAD, or $40 CAD for 118ml 15ml of Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer regular price $25 CAD, or $50 CAD for 48ml a full sized 3g Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm in “green dragon”, regular price $21 CAD AND a milk makeup-branded headband!!! so let’s just get into the review!💗 Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Cleanser thoughts: i really like this cleanser so far. it is non-fragranced and foams very nicely. after applying it, it did not make my skin dry or tight-feeling. i give it 4 out of 5 stars only because i have not tried using it to remove eye makeup yet and that is a somewhat big determining factor for me when trying new facial cleansers. also there is, to me, a VERY reasonable amount of product here for a trial run with it. Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer thoughts: this moisturizer is unlike anything i’ve tried before and i’m so into it!!! it is a very thick cream but has this really interesting mattifying quality when applied to the skin. it is also fragrance-free which is awesome! after wearing overnight, my skin feels more supple and definitely still very moisturized. i am definitely considering purchasing the full-sized one when i inevitably empty this little guy!! Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm this lip balm definitely feels like a step up from other lip balms I’ve tried. the packaging is super cool with a magnetic lid. despite being full-sized, i don’t really like that it comes with so little product. i like that the shade i have, green dragon, is green in the packaging then becomes clear when applied. you can definitely tell it is a more natural product as the formula is slightly grainy rather than super smooth which doesn’t bother me. even after it wears off my lips still feel smooth. i only scored it so low because it doesn’t come with enough product for the price in my opinion, and i have no info about long-term use or moisturizing properties quite yet. i really look forward to continuing to use these products and seeing how they work, and if requested i would love to do a follow-up once i empty these (or maybe i won’t?) to see more long term effects. hope you guys enjoyed! feel free to follow here and on my IG @chloebrk.mua #cheriecreator

Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream let’s talk smell. there is no smell whatsoever. It has no fragrance! it is a thick, white cream that spreads nicely over the skin and sinks in with a little bit of patting and facial massage! I am not familiar with a lot of the ingredients on here. Perhaps because this is a drugstore brand. But, this brand is recommended by several dermatologist for people with dry skin or just normal skin! and i understand why. It does a great job at achieving its goal—keeping the skin healthy and hydrated. But I also have acne prone skin. This product does nothing to treat that!! it helps me with my dryness but none of the ingredients in it are active and do anything to lighten dark spots as well. so my analysis is... dry skin—this will help. normal skin or just clear skin—this moisturizer will help you maintain it! sensitive skin— this will help soothe because of simple ingredients! it won’t irritate ur skin at all! oily/acne prone.... that’s not going to do much. PSA: i took this pic w my new lighting box I promise I didn’t take it off somewhere online! #cheriecreator

CHIA SEED MOUSTURIZER?! YES PLS💗
If y’all have never tried anything from the face shop, I highly recommend trying their chia seed line. Not only has their chia seed like helped me keep my skin clear, I always go back to this moisturizer because this will forever bring my skin back to the way it should be! ✨ If you saw my Clinique moisturizer review, you’ll know I started breaking out from using that, it made me miserable waking up everyday with a new pimple so immedietly I knew I had to go back and grab this! 💁🏽‍♀️ Which is what I did and NO JOKE, the next day, I didn’t wake up with a new pimple and today, I don’t have any on my skin! Research more on chia seed skincare and you’ll read about how great it is for those with acne prone, sensitive oily skin! This glides on the skin and is think yet so light on the skin and keeps me moisturized all day🎊 I LOVE ITTHE FACE SHOP - Chia Seed Hydro Cream

I have quite a few moisturizing products on rotation these days, as I use tretinoin every day and it will suck allll the moisture out of my skin if I’m not careful. One super nourishing product I’ve been using a lot recently has been the PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega+ Complex Moisturizer . This cream is formulated with shea butter, ceramides, and plant oils like chia seed and flaxseed. These not only deeply moisturize skin, but they also soothe stress and irritation and help restore skin’s natural moisture barrier. This is a great cream! My skin loves shea butter, and since it’s the second ingredient in this product, it’s THICK. I love using it at night to seal everything in, but I wouldn’t use it during the daytime unless I wasn’t wearing makeup. It leaves my skin noticeably more moisturized, and it feels very soothing as well. I have acne-prone skin and this doesn’t seem to clog my pores or worsen any active acne. Overall, I really like Paula’s Choice as a brand. They back up their ingredients and formulations with clinical studies, and after every ingredient in the ingredients list, they put its purpose in parentheses—for example, “shea butter (emollient/antioxidant).” I like that I know why each ingredient is included. The only thing I don’t love is that they do have a TON of products, and I’m not convinced that 12 different moisturizers are necessary... but hey, to each their own. This moisturizer is $35 for 1.7oz, and I may very well repurchase it as my night cream. It’s been helping keep my flaky skin at bay, and I’d really recommend it to people who are also using drying prescription products.

FAB Ultra Repair Cream: Product Claims: Head-to-toe moisturizer that provides instant relief and long-term hydration for dry, distressed skin, even eczema. The beautiful, whipped texture is instantly absorbed with no greasy after-feel. Safe for sensitive skin, the cream can be used by all members of the family, even children and babies. Product Target Concerns: Dry/Flakey skin Texture/Consistency: like a cloud, so fluffy, and absorbs perfectly into the skin. My thoughts on the product: So I was really nervous at first trying this moisturizer, because normally when testing moisturizers, a lot will break me out. This one by far, is just perfect. No scent, beautiful texture, and really has been a saving grace for me in restoring my moisture barrier!! Recommend to Others: 100% yes. This in my opinion, would be great for anyone, especially for the amount that you get!! Price: $32FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration

Guys. Let's talk about aloe vera for a minute. 💚 Aloe Vera is one of my number one products that I have for many different reasons! Aloe Vera has a lot of healing properties, being packed with a bunch of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and amino acids! 🌈 About twice a week, especially when my skin is inflamed and sensitive, I will just put aloe vera on my face before bed and wake up with amazingly hydrated, glowy skin! It's super great at combatting acne and dehydrated skin! When your skin is super sensitive and inflamed, I set suggest using this as a moisturizer! 💙 I will mix it into my foundation when I want a dewy look, also!! It's great, because the aloe will help create a flawless, glowy look and acts as a primer.🥰🥰 The higher the percentage of aloe on the bottle, the better!! That's why I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product, specifically!! 😍😍😍HOLIKA HOLIKA - Aloe 99% Soothing Gel

This is one of my favorite moisturizers. It is great for oily or sensitive skin, It also works well on acne prone skin types because it is oil free and won’t clog pores. I especially enjoy the water gel texture of this moisturizer. and that it contains hyaluronic acid. It glides onto the skin and dries quickly. I frequently use this moisturizer under my makeup. IWhen not wearing makeup my skin looks brighter, smoother and more supple. It is also non-comedogenic. . Hydro Boost is available at most drug stores and even Costco at an affordable price point. I definitely recommend trying this product! Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel
