E.L.F Bite Size Eyeshadow Quads
e.l.f. - Bite Size Eyeshadow Palette Shades: Cream & Sugar, Pumpkin Pie I’ve heard so much about these bite size eyeshadow quads! The color scheme of these two shades reminds me of Natasha Denona’s Mini Nude eyeshadow palette but at a fraction of the cost! I only gave three stars since the mattes are a little patchy and hard to work with. It takes a while to blend. The real reason why I wanted to try this product was actually due to the foil shades, and they do NOT disappoint! Very easy to blend and it is not chunky/glittery at all. I love dabbing the foil shades on the center of my eyelids for that pop. These retail for $3 USD, and very budget friendly since you get 4 colors (the ND palette retails for $25, and you only get one more color). These are smaller than you’d expect, but overall for the price, I am definitely satisfied. I could get practically the whole line and only use the foil colors and it would still be around the same cost as a ND mini palette. I wouldn’t say these are travel friendly on their own (just traveling with this one palette) since personally, I don’t think they could provide me a full look that I want since the matte shadows are difficult to work with. These are small enough though that I would throw in my bag just to have a foil topper.

Eyeshadow Sticks - Laura Mercier and Nudestix
NUDESTIX - Magnetic Luminous Eyeshadow Shades: Smoke, Burnish, Nudity Love how easy these eyeshadow sticks apply! But be warned, they set fast so you will need to work one eye at a time, and quickly! I like burnish and nudity a lot but find myself reaching for smoke quite often as eyeliner. These are great for travel - I always throw one or all in my makeup bag. I just use my finger to smudge out for that lived in look. Usually I use these when I can’t be bothered with powdered shadows. I’ll apply one or two colors all over the lid. laura mercier - Caviar Stick Eye Shadow Shades: Intense Moonlight, Intense Cooper, Intense Rose Gold, Intense Amethyst These are very creamy and blend out quite nicely. They had quite a sparkle to they eye. I love using intense moonlight in the center of my lid, probably my favorite shade out of the bunch. It’s a pearl/champagne color and really catches the light. These are very pigmented and very smooth! The one thing I don’t like about this is that there are pretty big chunks of glitter and when it gets in my eye (in the middle of the day) it is irritating, which is why I docked off two stars as it seems to happen almost each time I wear these. I do want to try their matte formula since these are so so creamy and blend out nicely! Overall, I would repurchase new colors in the nudestix formula but would pass on these specific Laura Mercier ones.

Milk Makeup - Bronzer & Lip+Cheek - Worth It?
Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer Shade: Baked Hello sun-kissed goddess! Seriously, I was a little on the fence about this one originally when I first purchased it. But, this shade doesn’t make me look orange and actually worked as a contour on my face to shape some of my features. The formula is very easy to blend and once you put powder over it, it isn’t sticky and dries down very nicely. I also like how Milk Makeup offers a mini size, which is what I purchased. Personally, I like being able to try something out for a while and will tend to go for the mini/travel friendly size before I fully commit to buying a full size. I know that it’s usually not a good deal, but in the past, I liked to switch out my products by season. This offered a great way to use a product up before it goes bad as well. After my declutter of my collection, it also makes me reach for this cream bronzer more often since it’s the only one I have and allows me to live more intentionally by being aware of what I enjoy and reminds me why I enjoy this. I would definitely repurchase this one once I need a new one! Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Shade: Werk I feel like all Milk makeup cream products are such a dream to blend, whether it’s with your fingers, brush, or sponge! Again, I really enjoy this formula and it stays on for quite a while. I love that this was a mini size/travel friendly - see my review above. I took off a star since I want to try more of the color shades out once I use this one up - wasn’t sure if this was really my correct shade for the cheeks, or maybe it’s not my personal preference. I feel like I tend to lean towards peachy/slight coral shades and this was more of a dusty mauve. When I apply this with my fingers, it just melts, unlike some of the Bite Beauty multi-sticks that I have, which are a lot stiffer/harder to work with. I don’t know that I will repurchase this one though since I have other cream blushes that I enjoy a lot more.

NARS Summer Lights Face Palette
NARS - Summer Lights Face Palette This palette is honestly one of the prettiest and most practical one that I own. I can’t say enough good things about this one. This has been everywhere with me since the colors are so easy to work with and you can wear them everyday for any occasion. Vacation in Hawaii, wedding on the west coast, wedding on the east coat, going to work in the city - check, check, and check! This is extremely travel friendly and I love how the cover looks! I am usually pretty picky about what I take but this has honestly been on so many trips with me no matter what season or where I am going. Sadly, this was a limited edition item released for their summer 2019 collection and I’m really hoping NARS brings something like this back! The palette provided me all that I needed: eyeshadow, highlighter, and bronzer. The bronzer is matte, highlighter can be soft or very light catching, and the eyeshadows are a mix of shimmer and mattes. Enough to create a full look! The powders are extremely buttery and blend extremely well. I don’t think this one has much fallout compared to other palettes and the colors pair well together. This palette is perfect for creating bronze, glowy looks in the summer, a soft smoldering/ soft glam look in the autumn and minimal look in the winter. I did a massive declutter earlier this year and this was the ONLY face palette to survive it, which is saying a lot since I am extremely picky about the products I keep and will keep those that serve a purpose. I plan to post some swatches soon!

Glossier - Worth It?
Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer This moisturizer is just a normal moisturizer. It feels nice on the skin, doesn’t have a scent which I can appreciate. However, I didn’t feel like it was worth the price. Don’t get me wrong, I love the brand and I am in love with a few of their products (cloud paint, perfume, the balm dot com). This was a nice little thing to try, but I didn’t find that this did anything more for my skin. If I am spending more than $20 on a moisturizer, I want to see some positive changes. This doesn’t have SPF, and I think it just moisturizes my skin but nothing else - I have combo skin. I don’t think this is a good product for people with dry skin, doesn’t give you a boost of hydration like some other moisturizers out there. The positive about this is when I use my Kosas Face Oil, this moisturizer does play nice with it! Additionally, the packaging is cute and travel friendly. It’s not bulky and is very nice to display! Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid Again, this product was overhyped for me. It’s very pretty, has a pale pink color, and packaging is unique since it’s holographic. But, I do think this product leans more as a makeup item than a skincare item. When I used this serum, I felt like I looked very greasy/oily, but it could be that it’s because I have combination skin. It also never fully dried down on me and was very tacky, making it hard to apply anything else over it without patching. When I use a product marketed as a skincare item, I want to see positive results and I just did not with this. It might work as a soft highlighter for those with drier skin. I personally prefer the NARS Tinted Glow Booster as a highlight though. I will not be repurchasing this in the future.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick Review 💄💋
Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick Shade: Pillow Talk Intense A bit late to the game but this was one of my first Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks! I can see what the hype is all about! The formula is very comfortable on the lips (I personally like the matte revolution formula more- see below for my comments). That being said, I absolutely love this deeper berry-brown shade. It’s the perfect shade for autumn and gets me so excited for the fall so I can wear this everyday! This is also one of my first lipsticks on the more brown end of the spectrum but think that this color would look good on any skin tone! I’ve always been more of a deep red berry type of person. I docked a star since this lipstick comes with a hefty price tag and while the color is unique and absolutely beautiful, the formula isn’t especially unique. There is a slip to it once it’s on my lips and I feel like it doesn’t have a long staying power. Overall, I think if I am going to buy another lipstick from CT, I will probably go for the matte revolution line. I hope they make this color in the matte revolution line, I would definitely buy on a heartbeat! The rose gold packaging is also beautiful and looks great when on display! Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick Lunar New Year - Limited Edition Shade: Magic Red Now onto the next review! I love the matte revolution line - so much that I already have three colors added to my Sephora wishlist! I’m on a low-buy/no buy this year, so I’m shopping my stash for the time being but can’t wait to use up my products right now so that I can try more new things! This matte formula is non-drying and very comfortable on the lips - it doesn’t feel like I have anything on at all! The bullet of this one seems to be stiffer/harder than the K.I.S.S.I.N.G line but I felt like this one was honestly easier to apply. I originally got this limited edition color since it seemed like it was going to be a deeper berry red - but once I applied it on my lips, it was actually more of a brighter red, perfect for Lunar New Year. Definitely lives up to its name! I love the idea of this red for the big holiday in Asia! Sure, it might be a marketing strategy (which clearly worked on me...) but it is also nice to see that brands recognize this cultural holiday. Definitely will repurchase in a different color once my low buy/no buy is over. This is one of the best matte lipsticks out there.

Bye Bye to blackheads ✨🧖🏻♀️
A cleanser with salicylic acid that is gentle enough to use on dry skin? Yes please. I have repurchased this cleanser about five times now and it is my go to night time cleanser. It has a combination of tee tree oil and salicylic acid that helps wash away all the nasties in your pores and the formula is gentle so it doesn’t strip away all the moisture from your face. I saw a huge improvement after about 1-2 months. I suggest consistent use to see results. COSRX - Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser

My Holy Grail Foundation
I have a combination-dry skin in winter and combination-oily skin in summer. I also have acne scars and bumps on my forehead. I've used no less than ten different foundations in the past two years, butpixi - H2O Skintint is the one brand I keep repurchasing. It's a tinted cream that evens out your skin tone, brightens your complexion and creates very natural makeup. It's a water-based tinted face gel that's oil-free, doesn't cause acne, and doesn't make your complexion dull. It's suitable for all skin types all year round. My friends with sensitive skin are also using it. However, it only provides sheer coverage, so it's more suitable for those with fewer skin blemishes. In summer, it doesn't hold as well and you'll need to set your makeup. It's well worth its price, which is between a high-end foundation and a drugstore foundation. I recommend anyone with a skin tone that's not too dark to choose shade No.1 Cream Swatch. You can look at the shade comparison, or mix and use them together.

A lil’ bit of shine
This NARS eyeshadow duo is nice! It has two neutral shimmery shades-one is more pink toned and the other true brown. They look good on their own or layered but don’t have a ton of pigment to them. The texture can be a bit dry but with a damp finger/brush they apply pretty nice! Perfect for travel because they’re so small and compact! NARS - NARS Duo Eyeshadow

Have you ever bought any product because of the packaging? I do that a lot but Moonshot Honey Coverlet palette is an exception because not only packaging but also formula got my heart. I don't have many palettes because I have no space for that (said a person who just purchased 5 different palettes...) but I all the palettes I have are warm and intensive. Honey Coverlet looks more pastel and subtle, but the pigmentation is impressive - you might think it's a bit strange since Korean and Japanese makeup is told to be less pigmented.
This coverfx face palette is quickly becoming a staple in my collection. I have very fair skin and the fair/light palette works perfectly with my skin tone! I find the contour shade works well to contour or bronze my skin to give myself a little life. Both highlights are perfect for day to day and not overly blinding. The blush has good staying power and is the prettiest coral pink! And finally, I think the finishing power gives my skin the faintest glow! ✨ not to mention - it looks great in my collection! ❤️
