Hey guys !!! So I’ve been using the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%every night & day. Man oh man. I think I’m inlove. The progress!!!!!!!🥺 literally looking at my skin from just a few weeks ago , & now makes me feel so good about myself. Can I just say that I was finally comfortable enough to wear a mask that doesn’t cover my whole cheeks. Like 🥺 I’m so excited . Hoping and praying that my skin keeps at its best & continues to be the best it can be. I’ll make a post about my whole entire skin care routine next if you guys want ! Thanks for reading everyone !! Have a blessed day. (Psa. This is a spot treatment on my face lol)

Morning routine updated
Ok I’ve made a few changes to my routine and sometimes I keep switching a few things in and out depending on the day.... I start with The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution which I love. I think glycolic acid is an important ingredient to have in your routine for oily skin and wrinkles and even acne too. I always use insta natural - Zinc Vitamin C Serum but I go between also using insta natural - Age Defying & Skin Clearing Serum which I love for acne, insta natural - Dark Spot Corrector I don’t notice a huge difference with this but it has great ingredients or insta natural - Skin Brightening Serum, Anti-Aging that has alpha arbutin to help brighten dark spots or hyperpigmentation. So I alternate with those! Love using COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence to have a dewy glow and helps with skin texture and pigmentation issues I’ve recently added The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% to help with acne and oily skin and love it too. I top with a thin layer of Clindamycin gel and then moisturizer which I alternate also between a few different ones. BEEKMAN 1802 - Bloom Cream Daily Probiotic Moisturizer has great ingredients but a funky old woman smell I do not like, thank goodness I only have a sample size.... Honest has a great soothing moisturizer I’ve tried and also ARBONNE has a great calming moisturizer as well as a lightweight jelly moisturizer I go between. Then I do a few drops of The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% and I’m done. I usually let it sit for awhile or at least a good 5 minutes while I do my eye makeup and eyeliner before I use any face makeup but I love the texture of my skin so far using this all together.

1 week update
thanks to all lovely beauties out there to take their time and add a comment on my last post. I was devastated by breakout, i was having from last 2-3 weeks and nothing seems to be working. Well i guess too many exfoliants was making my skin too sensitive so now i am back to basics. I have started what i was doing in the beginning and that seems to be working just fine. I think i was selfish to have a great skin in no time 🥴. If someone is just curious what i am doing right now then lets go to products. AM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control it has tree oil which is good for acne prone skin The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ as i have sensitive and oily skin this makes my face matte and oil free. I really like this one for oily skin or combination skin PM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (only on spots and acne 2-3 times a week) The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA (once a week) The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (once a week) The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque (once a week) The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane tea tree oil only on spots Even if i have listed so many items i feel i have very basic skin care routine as most of the products are being used weekly or only 2-3 times a week. But in the end this routine is working out for me and i am seeing good progress which makes me happy. Again thanks to all who suggested me before ❤️❤️

The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is one of my latest and favorite additions to my routine! My skin at times can get sensitive because I tend to get a little carried away while exfoliating. This soothes whenever my face gets a little red and really has helped regulate the oily-ness in my T zone. Did I mention it even helps with any inflamed breakouts! I saw this stuff and was skeptical at first for something that literally cost $5, but I’m very impressed with this product and will definitely be buying another. You don’t normally expect a high-quality serum that just absorbs beautifully to the skin at such a low price point.

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This is my favourite product from this brand!! I started using this in January and this is my second bottle! I only apply it on my T-Zone or I'll apply it in areas that I find myself getting more acne. This product is great for decreasing blemishes and combating congestion. I prefer this consistency because I am able to wear it both during the day and night time! This product has been another great one that has helped combat my acne! Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 My second bottle and I love it!! My skin is super dry (yes even in the summer time🙄). This product has helped me combat my dry and flaky skin! Although I am not the biggest fan of the consistency, I find it's too sticky and I don't like how it feels on my face. So, I usually only apply it at night. Unless, my skin needs an extra dose of hydration during the day. I prefer applying this product when my skin is a bit damp just because I find the product absorbs better into my skin. Overall, for myself it has been a great product. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Let’s see Niacinamide in action!
Let’s see Niacinamide in action!
Alright already...I’ve told you how important I feel Niacinamide is for everyone and now I want to show you it in action. Then maybe it’ll be out of my system and I’ll stop yapping about it, but probably not! 😂 As you can see in the video you only need a few drops to cover your face. I had already cleansed the area and prepped it with toner and hyaluronic acid. These are two steps I feel are very important, obviously cleansing but I am also a fan of using a toner or an essence to prep the skin leaving it damp before adding Niacinamide. You can also just use water. You’ll notice it applies like water but it does have a bit thicker of a consistency than water. If you’ll also notice towards the end of the video you can see it start to give a “soapy” look to my hand (why I took one star away). This is normal and okay! Albeit a bit annoying, I do find if I wait about 30 seconds it will absorb fairly easy. This is an absolute must for me! I went a few weeks without using Niacinamide in my routine and I could tell the difference. I like this most for its abilities to keep my face clear and balanced. I’ve only ever tried The Ordinary’s brand so I can’t at this time give you a range to choose from. I have heard Paula’s Choice has a good option and I am sure The Inkey List is great as well. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% $ 5.90 @ Sephora $ 5.90 @ Ulta but they have a $3.50 off a $15 purchase (just search in google and it’ll pop up) $5.90 for 30 ml or $10.60 for 60 ml @ The Ordinary One bottle typically lasts me 2 months. Over this weekend I’ll be sharing the individual products from my previous post/video - my skincare routine. I’ll share the 11 products I used and their textures just like I did in this video. So if you’re interested stay tuned. I’d also like to add that taking care of your hands is a great idea! I had a man once tell me he could usually tell a woman’s age by the look of her hands. He said, “you can hide the years written in the face but the hands will show them.” I beg to differ but I understand what he was getting at. So yes, I do take the time to rub any excess products onto my hands and keep them covered well with sunscreen. Face, neck, décolletage and hands! ❤️ as always to my @cheriefamily 🍒 #CherieCreator

MOST DISAPPOINTING PRODUCT FOR ME
MOST DISAPPOINTING PRODUCT FOR ME
I absolutely adore the ordinary and this, along with their aha/bha serum, is one of their most hyped up products. Most people love The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and with the affordable price, I didn’t think twice before purchasing. The first time I used it, I broke out really bad. I couldn’t figure out what was breaking me out and I continued using this product because I didn’t think it was the culprit. After the third or fourth time of breaking out after using this, I looked through the many reviews and found that a lot of people were going through purging. I really wanted this to work for me so I continued using, even though I was sure I wasn’t purging as I was breaking out in places I have never broken out in before. After my skin only getting worse, I eventually decided to stop using, giving the product over to someone who’s skin really benefitted from it. After doing some research, I’ve come to the conclusion that the 1% zinc is what irritated my skin as I’ve used niacinamide before and it worked well for me. This experience taught me that everybody’s skin is different. What might work for me might not work for you. Always take in to consideration that the most popular and talked about products may not be for your skin and always do your research beforehand.
