I’m doing little mini reviews on my fav La Mer items. lamer - cleansing oil. CLAIMS: Designed with precious marine oils that are bio-compatible with the skin. The Cleansing Oil is the optimal first step to any daily cleansing regime. As The Cleansing Fluid is massaged into the skin, circulation is improved. Magnetised Tourmaline enables The Cleansing Oil to gently, yet effectively, dissolve excess sebum, deeply cleansing the pores without disrupting skin's natural balance. Skin is detoxified as stubborn, hard-to-remove makeup is lifted away, leaving skin feeling pristine. Known for its therapeutic properties, ionising sea salt osmotically remineralises the skin. MY RESULTS: I’ve been using this cleansing oil for a year now. This is only my second bottle and as you can see there’s hardly any out of it so although this is on the expensive end for a cleanser it does last a long time. I massage half a pump onto dry skin and then add water until it milks up then I remove with wet cotton pads. This lifts up all traces of make up including waterproof mascara and does not sting the eyes. My skin is always so clean after use but it also feels really conditioned, and doesn’t leave a greasy oil residue afterwards. Once I finished this I originally thought it was nothing special and I wasn’t going to repurchase and bought something else, I lasted 7 days before I had to replace it. For me there is no other oil cleanser like this for removing make up. I simply cannot be without it. Even is your not wearing make up this cleanser removes any surface oil effectively and completely cleans the pores and removes any traces of SPF to prevent that from clogging pores, which can result in blackheads

This month the products that I’ve been absolutely loving are: 💚 la mer - The Cleansing Oil. - This has pretty much been a ride or die product for me, since discovering it it’s been a staple in my routine, I’ve tried other products but always come back because nothing compares. - It dissolves make up and spf in quick time and it’s super nourish on the skin as well. . 💚 la prairie - Cellular Cleansing Water. - I’ve used this cleanser for years now and I use it in the morning to freshen up my skin. I personally don’t feel I need a full cleanse in the morning so this is enough to remove anything on the surface and leaves my skin hydrated and ready for the next steps. . 💚 drunk elephant - LaLa Retro Whipped Cream. - I have absolutely been loving this cream. The texture feels amazing it’s so fluffy, doesn’t clog my pores and is amazing when using acids and retinol. - When I apply this it absorbs almost instantly and leaves me with a gorgeous glow and keeps me hydrated all day long. 💚 drunk elephant - A-Passioni. - Now I have tried a lot of Retinols but this one seriously has impressed me so far. It’s only been a month so not all results are evident but it has definitely helped reduce pigmentation that I had on my cheeks. I’m impressed I’ve seen results already because I’m still not up to daily usage yet. So I’m hoping that once I’ve built up tolerance to that I’ll see faster results. . 💚 drunk elephant - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil. - I’m super fussy with oils but this one is so amazing at hydrating, what I like is that it’s not too heavy, you can use this and look dewy rather than oily. I use both am and pm and it’s never clogged my pores. . 💚 chanel - CoCo Mademoiselle. - Nothing to say other than it’s my fav scent.
For my second cleanser step I like to alternate between a cleansing milk and something formulated to detoxify and eliminate pore congestion. I really love Boscia so I was excited to try out their Detoxifying Black Charcoal Cleanser and spoiler alert…its pretty great! This warming gel cleanser helps reduce the appearance of pores, purifies dirt-filled skin, and brightens the complexion. It contains a dynamic duo of Activated Charcoal and Vitamin C remove excess oil and refine skin texture. It also contains Artichoke Leaf Extract which reduces the appearance of pore size by increasing skin elasticity, which means the pore wall is less likely to stretch and retain debris. It has a thick, gel consistency with bits of charcoal floating throughout and a very subtle, almost citrus-y aroma to it that quickly dissipates. I love the soothing, warming sensation as you apply this cleanser and find that it does a really great job at removing dirt and debris and leaves my skin feeling throughout leaned and pores less visible. A little goes a LONG way with this cleanser and at $30 for 150 mL/5 fl oz it’s well worth the price for anyone prone to congested pores and blemishes!boscia - Detoxifying Black Charcoal Cleanser

boscia - Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment This is a mask that really works to clear out sebaceous filaments from your pores - at least that’s been my experience!! It smells amazing and has a mixture of two different clays that don’t get rigid and crusty when they dry, which is nice! I tend to use this only on my nose (where my sebaceous filaments are the most intense) but you could use it all over or on certain spots. Definitely recommend giving this a try if you have issues with clogged pores!

I haven’t noticed any dryness that I usually get after I use a drying cleanser even from using just once. She has the 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 vinopure scent that most of their other products have which I love! I can’t wait to continue to use this baby & see how she does fighting those ugly blackheads I tend to get from time to time.

A great pore minimizing cleanser!
Innisfree Pore Clearing Facial Foam with volcanic cluster The Innisfree Pore Clearing Facial Foam has jeju volcanic clusters that is small enough to enter pores and help banish sebum. It helps to deep cleanse the face and remove impurities. Jeju volcanic clusters are packed with minerals and have the power to absorb excess oil and impurities from pores. My honest opinion: I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and enlarged pores. I was initially hesitant to use this cleanser as I was concerned that with clay in it, it will be drying. The cleanser has a texture that is very fine and creamy and smells really fresh and green. It also creates a very fine foam and foams up pretty well. It isn’t too soapy but does leave my skin clean. The most important thing is that it isn’t drying - which is great! This affordable cleanser is only $10 for 150ml and it is formulated without animal products, mineral oil, synthetic colors, imidazolidinyl urea and sulfate surfactant. Overall, I think it’s a decent cleanser and at this price, I would totally recommend it.innisfree - Pore clearing facial foam

Tatcha “The Deep Cleanse” Exfoliating Cleanser
Tatcha’s “The Deep Cleanse” Exfoliating Cleanser is an incredible gentle daily exfoliant for those who prefer a bit of physical exfoliation. It is a gel formula containing natural fruit enzymes suspended throughout that exfoliate and lift impurities. It’s a great cleanser for those with clogged or enlarged pores, uneven texture or oiliness. My one gripe about this product is I don’t like the way the product dispenses out — you have to untwist the cap and then you just have the hole in the top of the product to squeeze cleanser out of. But that’s a small inconvenience I’m willing to put aside! I’ve been using this cleanser for about two months now, I received it courtesy of Cherie and was so excited as it was not necessarily a product I would have picked out for myself but turned out to be a product that my skin really loves. I like it because it’s an oil-free gel formula that lathers into a creamy foam to remove dirt and impurities from the skin without drying out the skin. Amino acids derived from silk make this a gentle exfoliator suitable for even sensitive skin types. It uses ground fibers from the Japanese luffa fruit to help turn over dead skin cells and purify clogged pores while also conditioning and smoothing the skin. Additionally, Japanese wild rose tightens the appearance of pores to produce a more even skin texture and Japanese leopard lily helps to minimize excess oil. I really like this cleanser and I think it’s suitable for all and stands as a safe physical exfoliator due to the ground particles that make it gentle enough for regular use. I also think that the price ($38 for 5oz) is pretty fair considering it is coming from a luxury brand that uses proprietary Japanese-sourced ingredients you don’t see in a ton of other formulas. Again, the bottle I have a bit of an issue with but as for the product itself, I’d give it a 5/5, perhaps would dock it down to a 4.5/5 due to being a bit of a pain to use… and I can imagine it will only get more frustrating to use as less product is left in the bottle. I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking for a gentle physical exfoliator/gentle cleanser who struggles with the size and appearance of their pores! I’d love to see a pump on this bottle to secure it’s rating as a 5/5, too!

Favorite face wash
This is my nightly face wash and my go to every day. It is a cream to foam charcoal face wash and it works amazing. Just like the rest of Glamglow’s “super” line this face wash targets impurities in the skin and helps clear and unclog pores. It is gentle enough to use every night and does not strip the skin. It is a creamy texture that foams up once water is applied. I have used this for almost two years now and I get disappointed when I try to swap this out for another face wash. I started using it when I still struggled with cystic acne and this is the only face wash that seemed to help. It is definitely worth the $32 price tag. This is only my second bottle and a little goes a loooooong way. I would definitely recommend this product over and over again! This is definitely a 5 star product! GLAMGLOW - Supercleanse
