Dermatologist opinion: caffeine eye cream
THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream Why I like the Inkeylist caffeine eye cream: ✔️ Lightweight texture blends very easily ✔️ Hydrating ✔️ Can help reduce puffiness ✔️ Antioxidant ingredients help fight off free radicals from the sun and pollution ✔️ Can help improve the appearance of dark circles ✔️ Fragrance free- no smell to it! ✔️ Affordable ✨ It is one of my favorite go-to eye creams because of the caffeine which really helps with my puffy eyes in the morning and has helped with my dark circles. I also really like that it blends in easily, is fragrance free, and affordable. I like using this once a day in the morning but this can be used twice a day. I like using it in the mornings because it really helps with my puffy eyes (which is worse in the morning for me!). I notice an immediate effect on the puffiness around my eyes. It took a few weeks to notice the improvement on my dark circles. What do you think about this eye cream? Comment below!

Let’s talk eye creams!
Eye creams are made to target concerns (dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, etc.) around the eye area, which is very sensitive. They are not necessary to a skincare routine but if you struggle with any of these issues, it can help. Here are some of my favorites (all under $30) and what they can help with. >$10 THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream (Brightens dark circles) $10-$20 REVOLUTION - Targeted Under Eye Serum 5% Caffeine (Brightens dark circles) PACIfICA - Vegan Collagen Recovery Eye Cream (Brightens dark circles, hydrates) Sweet CHEF - Turmeric + Vitamin C Booster Eye Cream (Brightens, hydrates) florence by mills - Look Alive Eye Balm (Brightens, reduces puffiness, hydrates) My personal fave :) $20-$30 NATURIUM - Retinol Complex Cream Retinol is best for severe fine lines but if you are going to use it, please make sure to keep your under eyes hydrated because it can be a little drying. HONEST - Honestly Bright Eyes Tinted Eye Cream (Hydrates while also covering dark circles)
Reviewing My Followers Skincare Routines pt. 1
Hey y’all! In today’s post I’ll be reviewing my followers skincare routines! I went through some of y’all’s accounts in search of some routines, then messaged everyone to make sure they were okay with me using their routines in this post! This is only pt. 1 because this post got wayyy to long to include everyone at once! Let me start by saying I’m not an esthetician or dermatologist, nor have I ever claimed to be. I am just a fellow skincare lover who knows a lot about ingredients in skincare. We’re starting off with @Chloe_McRae. Sometimes she decides to double cleanse, and when she does she starts with the#Holifrog - Kissimmee Vitamin F Therapy Balmy Wash[products]#[FourStars] which is $42 for 2.5 fl oz. This has a ton of great hydrating oils, as well as Vitamin F, which is great for helping cell turnover. I would say it’s a great first cleanse for those with dry skin. Next she uses theDRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample which is $32. I would say this is a good cleanser. The cleansing agents are gentle and non stripping, and it also has glycerin which is hydrating, and cantaloupe fruit extract which is a hydrating extract full of antioxidants. Other than that, this is a pretty basic cleanser. Next she uses the HERBIVORE - Prism 20% AHA + 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Facial l which is $58. Because the name is confusing, it’s a gel face mask. This stuff looks gorgeous and the ingredients are too. Along with AHA and BHA, it has aloe and rose water which help your skin to retain moisture. I don’t think it’s worth $58, but it’s pretty good. Next is the PEACH & LILY - Wild Dew Treatment Essence which is $39 for 3.38 fl oz. This essence has glycerin, Nicinamide, and Hylaronic acid. For $39 I expected a lot more. In general, essence is less effective than a serum, so this seems a little expensive for what you get. Then comes theDRUNK ELEPHANT - Sweet Biome Fermented Sake Hydrating Spray which is $42. Yes, $42 for a face mist. Now looking at the ingredients this has glycerin and a small amount of Hylaronic acid. The rest of the ingredients are extracts. Thankfully there isn’t fragrance, but this is a no because it’s so expensive. And finally is the COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid which is $24. Really this has some Willow water and Nicinamide and that’s it. Okay I freaked out at this point. Nowhere in this routine is sunscreen or moisturizer!!! Nooooo!! We need less acids and more of the basics. Overall I’d say this routine has too many steps. I think you could simplify down to a double cleanse, a cheap but good serum with Hylaronic acid and Nicinamide which seem to be the ingredients that work well for your skin, and the a moisturizer and some spf. Our next routine comes from @WillWorkforMascara. She starts her routine with theCeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin w is $17. This product is great for oily skin, which she has. It has glycerin, nicinamide, and Hylaronic acid so it’s super hydrating. Next she usesThe Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution witch is $8.70. Along with glycolic acid, it has aloe vera water and glycerin. Some people think it’s overly stripping, but for oily skin its great. Now this is where this routine becomes international. She goes in with theMUJI - Boosting Essence Lotion which is $7 for 50 ml. This essence has aloe vera juice and glycerin. It does have quite a bit of fragrance though which makes it a no from me. Next she goes in with the#Pearlessence - Argan Oil + Vitamin E facial oil[products]#[ThreeStars] which is $11.89 for 1.83 fl oz. This product has two ingredients. Vitamin E and Argan oil. Now this is where we really go international. #Human Nature - Sunflower Eye Cream[products]#[TwoStars] and found out that 295 Cuban Peso is $12.29. Now as for the ingredients this eye cream has sunflower oil and glycerin. And fragrance. Fragrance can especially be irritating around the eye area so this is another no. Instead try some thing likeTHE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream She also uses a eyebrow and eyelash oil called Peach Thy Lash which is 150 Cuban Peso or $6.25. I don’t know anything about this kind of product so I can’t really say if it works. And finally is theLANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask which is $22. This mask has Vitamin C, Hylaronic acid, and glycerin. It seems good to me, but this sort of product is more about the experience, and I haven’t tried it. Again! We need moisturizer and sunscreen! This one also has too many steps so let’s simplify it to cleanser, toner, moisturizer, sunscreen, eyelash oil, and lip mask. Unfortunately this post would be super long if I included everyone, so look out for pt. 2 coming soon! Please cheer for this post if you liked it, comment below your holy grail skincare products, and follow me to join the family and for similar content! -Mae
Fresh and clean 🧼
I used all the products in my previous video but I forgot to mention my under eye treatment!!! 😅 earthtoskin - Super Fruits Banana Brightening Eyecream I haven’t used this religiously but I do notice a difference when I do use it. I use it day and night and I especially love using it in the morning because it brightens my under eyes without having to use concealer and it has a nice highlight effect too!!

A Eye Cream for Sensitive Eyes that Works!
I have uber sensitive eyes. Like anything around them makes them red, itchy, watery, and even my lashes fall out. 😩 I’m alway on the hunt for an eye cream for my sensitive eyes that actually WORKS. Enter Hale & Hush Eye Mousse. I gotta say the ingredient stack didn’t “wow” me but it had some good enough ingredients and at this point with my eyeballs being little b’s I’ll take what I can get. I used the eye mousse for about a week and didn’t notice much, but I kept using it because at least it wasn’t irritating my eyes. 🙌😎 The second week is when I really started to notice a change. 😃 So yeah I kinda love this and now have it in rotation. It’s mostly great for hydration. Great for summer ☀️ when you keep sweating 😅 and everything just seems to end up in your 👀 anyway! 😂 HALE&HUSH - Eye Mousse #cheriecreator #sensitiveskin #eyecreamthatworks #summerfinds
Thank you @triderma for letting me try more products from your collection 🥰 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐥 ~ love this! This uniquely functions as a gentle makeup remover (yes, and it does well), hydrator and an after-shave gel. I have been a long time fan of aloe but transitioning to #fragrancefree, it has been a challenge to find one that’s formulated free of fragrance and alcohol. I’m glad Triderma usually leaves those ingredients out! With that said, this isn’t as extremely cooling as other aloe gels but it still is very hydrating and does the job, just the gentler way! It’s made out of 5 ingredients only 👍🏻 𝐎𝐢𝐥-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫 ~ adding to my no-nonsense moisturizer list! Enjoyed this. Has aloe, green tea and mushroom stem extract - you can never go wrong with it. It is lightweight and works well in sealing moisture. Does not feel heavy at all- it’s ideal for oily skin! The texture and the “feel” of it reminds me so much for the Cerave moisturizing lotion (the one in blue/white tube). However this has a strong chemical and natural smell on it (?) - if you don’t really mind it then this is another good option for you 😉 Check out more of their expert-formulated products at triderma.com 🖥
Give Your Eyes a Boost
Dye free and fragrance free is really what you want in an eye cream. I have been using Murad but for a cheaper price Neutrogena eye gel cream does the trick. I use this beneath my eyes in the morning because I get pretty dry. Complete with hyaluronic acid and recommended by dermatologists, you can't go wrong. I find that I stay hydrated throughout the day. For the price, this is very cheap. Murad can get expensive and I found that the Neutrogena brand is just as good. Five stars for price and formula.
