Similar to their skincare counterparts, these hair care
I’m a fan of micellar water as a first step makeup remover, so when I saw the pantene Pro-V Micellar Shampoo ($10) at target a few months ago I decided to check it out. Similar to their skincare counterparts, these hair care products contain micelle molecules - tiny beads of oil suspended in water - that stick to dirt and oil and wash them away more effectively. . .✨The shampoo (now an empty!) felt clean and light. My hair gets oily, and some heavier shampoos can leave it feeling like its been weighed down by some invisible residue. I don’t have that issue with the micellar shampoo. I also expected the shampoo to feel oily, but it actually feels like any other gel shampoo. . .✨I liked it enough that I went back to Target and bought the Micellar Conditioner Gentle Moisturizing Milk ($6 for the smaller size). I haven’t used this one as much yet because I am still finishing up my usual tsubaki_shiseido conditioner, but it also feels pleasantly light and gentle.

Current hair care selections I had seen this pearlessence dry shampoo at winners a couple times, and tbh I had low expectations since it was always there. I figured I would give it a try anyway since I go through a lot of dry shampoo (greasy hair problems). To my surprise it’s actually good! It smells nice and it’s very lightweight- not thick and powdery like a lot of other dry shampoos, doesn’t leave a white cast on my brown hair. I’m obsessed with the smell of the OGX coconut miracle line. Would definitely repurchase these, the price is not bad at all and it makes my hair feel nice since it’s sulfate free. Last but not least, still loving this Lani leave in oil treatment - I sleep with it in once or twice a week and I see the difference after I wash it out the next morning. It gives my hair more bounce and shine.

I seriously love Batiste dry shampoo! I use it almost daily. Not only does it freshen your hair, eliminate oils, it’s an excellent all over spray that you can use right after you wash your hair for extra body and grip while styling. . The 2 scents that I’m featuring is the Cherry which has a nice fruity smell. I don’t smell much of a cherry scent but that’s ok. I also have the blush which has a scent of fresh flowers. . The trick to dry shampoo is that you have too spray it within 30cm away from your hair and brush it out right away. If you don’t do this you will be left with a white residue. Brushing it out and spraying all over in a fast motion will help eliminate this problem. Also wetting your hair a bit and brushing it out can also help.

Dull, dry, greasy, dead, itchy. Who else resonates with these terms when it comes to their hair? I sure do. For as long as I can remember, well since I started messing with my it, me and my hair have not been the best of friends. It's the joyous combination of greasy at the roots, dry on the ends and the middle section just frizzes and looks generally lack lustre most days. I've tried my fair share of hair saviours but the problem for me starts at the wash. Without the right shampoo and conditioner combination that is tailored to your hair needs, there's simply no improving the condition of it. So when I stumbled across Chāmpo, I thought, could this be the saviour my hair has been looking for? Chāmpo is based upon the ancient Indian holistic healing system, Ayurveda. Based on these ancient ingredients and techniques, three hair Doshas (types) were developed by Chāmpo. So I took the #ChampoHairQuiz and found out I was Kapha. Kapha typically means your hair is oily at the roots and dry at the ends, which leaves it feeling heavy and coarse. My hair type nailed to a T. Having used the Kapha range from Chāmpo for the last 3 weeks, it has restored harmony to my hair and gently, yet deeply, cleansed and nurtured it. The shampoo and conditioner came on holiday with me and my hair has never been so happy away from home. Plus it smells absolutely divine, like you’ve just spent five hours in an Ayurveda Spa in Bali.
✨This jkosmmune shampoo is intended to gently cleanse hair & scalp without stripping them of essential oils. My hair is thick, coarse and very thirsty so I don’t usually have high expectations for shampoo. I gravitate to co-wash and depend on conditioners to really hydrate. That being said this shampoo has exceeded my expectations. It has a thin liquid consistency that caught me by surprise and a mild citrus scent. I love how gentle and hydrating it is, my hair feels soft and clean and I can actually comb through my hair prior to conditioning. It’s a keeper. ✨Some product highlights: • Great for sensitive scalps and dry damaged hair • Potent #betaglucan • 100% safe (EWG green level) and natural ingredients • Sulfate-free • No artificial fragrance (naturally scented from citrus oil)
I LOVE this product. I was dealing with crunchy hair and a dry flaky scalp, but my hair would turn oily in 24 hours after washing. This shampoo made my hair soft, I can go 2-3 days between washes now, and my hair is soft! It also smells wonderful! The only downsides are that it takes a little work to get a good lather and while I don’t think it strips color, it definitely doesn’t help it last. Pro Tip: Get the shampoo bar tin. It makes it last so much longer. Mine lasts me 4-5 months before I need a new bar now.
