beautybyandreaA dermatologist on tiktok recommended to leave the lather on your face for about 30 seconds with the SA cleanser and iāve noticed better results after doing that! maybe give it a try

skincarejunkie1I tried that and my face got irritated. Also, that cleanser doesnāt have the best ingredients which is part of the reason why I didnāt give it a solid 5/5. Thank you though.

Completely erase your deep wrinkles with this
I have struggled with harsh lines since my 20ās. The furrow line in my forehead is so pronounced I didnāt believe there was a skincare solution.
Iāve switched my nighttime and daytime routine around three times since I started Cherie because of the knowledge Iāve gained from Cherie members and board certified dermatologist Dr.Dray.
Here is what I do;
Morning Routine
šI rinse my face with water - DO NOT CLEANSE (I have an article on my page as to why you should not cleanse in the morning please check it out)
š AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) this product makes your skin smooth and brighten and it actually preps the skin to allow better absorption of the next product
šVitamin C serum is applied, vitamin c helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
šhyaluronic acid it plumps my skin up
š§”neutrogena hydro boost with spf 50. This is a water gel lotion with hyaluronic acid
š¤I finish with Avene moisturizing protecting lotion, this lotion I swear by it. It doesnāt claim to reduce fine lines but as soon as I put it on all my forehead wrinkles smooth right out.
ā”ļøsometimes I add Vaseline to the sensitive areas of my face if Iām staying home the under eye where crows feet are and the furrow in my forehead. Doing this protects the skin barrier because it locks in the moisture from your products and slows down their absorption rate which means you benefit more from them.
Nighttime routine
šoil based cleanser. Oil based cleansers break up makeup, sunscreen and sebum more efficiently than regular gel cleansers
šgel based cleanser next, it completely cleans the face from any left over oil cleanser
ā„ļø toner maybe twice - three times a week but not everyday as itās winter the air is dry, toner can be even more drying
šRetinoid serum comes next, but the face should be dry.
š§”Niacinamide to reduce the appearance of pores and fine line.
šVitamin E at the end of the day helps your skin barrier restore itself from the pollutants and uva and uvb exposure
š¤moisturizer is second to last on my routine,
šlast but not least in fact one of the most important things is SLUGGING! petroleum jelly is smeared on my face focused on the underlines where crows feet show, the furrow on my forehead - I donāt do my neck. I explained up above why this benefits you.
āļøso after 1 month of doing this my wrinkles have erased and my pores look greatāļø

Overall not bad and does what you want
DHC oil is a good first (aka oil based) cleanser that will definitely take on spf to your more heavier make up looks. I give it three stars because this is my first oil based cleanser once finding out more about skin care and am unsure how it stacks up compared to other brands.
I recommend this more for dry skin since it does feel a bit more hydrating and I could imagine it being a bit heavy for oily skin. Sadly, it is not fragrance free. DHC oil does contain Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil. Since it is a wash off treatment, it should be ok for your skin, however if you already have sensitive skin and/or allergic to fragrance, I would refrain. It is my personal beleif that fragrance and essental oils don't have a place in good skin care so I'll empty this guy out and look for another brand ā¤ļø

I need some advice!!
Hi everyone! This is my first post & donāt have a lot of followers so if you see this please help if you can or share so that more people can see it! I am a teacher so I have to wear a mask all day everyday and I am getting fungal acne on my forehead from it. It has never been an issue for me before wearing a mask continuously for so long and Iām looking for some products that will either help it or at least wonāt make it worse. I know there are some ingredients I need to watch out for but I would love some product recommendations if you have any! I started using the Nizoral shampoo and I am seeing some improvement from that. I have also been loving the Versed Just Breathe serum for other āmaskneā issues! Thank you for any suggestions or advice!

CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin
Here is my favorite new cerave product. I have been using for a week now and it does remove dirt and oil from the face while leaving the face soft and smooth.
It contains two important ingredients:
1ļøā£ ceramides : to restore the skinās barrier
2ļøā£ salicylic acid: NEW; exfoliates and softens to smooth rough skin
In addition it is :
Non- comedogenic ā
Non - drying ā
Non - irritating ā

First day of school!! My last semester šš
I never thought I would be comfortable going to class without makeup, but Iām so glad I donāt feel the need to wake up early and put it on anymore. Donāt get me wrong, I still very much love makeup but itās a chore getting it off properly!
I felt the need to share that it is officially my first day of class in my very last semester of college!! šš
(I say like Iām not planning on going back because I hate my degree)
Weāre gonna be rolling into Marketing Strategy with second day hair, brow gel, and some mascara and thatās it! Sadly, I actually have to attend an in-person lecture, but itās the only one.
I also thought that I might as well share the new routine
AM:
LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Wash Ap+ Gentle Foaming Moisturizing Wash I gave this 4 stars because while it says fragrance free it has a strong citrus scent and burns the eyes, but it is definitely moisturizing and doesnāt strip the skin
peach slices - Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner I accidentally got this too close to my under eye and it dried it out
GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum pretty nice, pretty standard
VANICREAM - Lite Lotion
DERMAā¢E - Scar Cream Sun Protectant SPF 35
PM:
LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Wash Ap+ Gentle Foaming Moisturizing Wash
*a little pea size amount of tretinoin*
GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum
VANICREAM - Lite Lotion
CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream I apply both moisturizers at night because my skin tends to dry out over night due to me keeping a fan going at all times
My skin is a getter drier as the days go by, as expected, because my Accutane dosage has been bumped up and just due to the colder temperatures

My Top 5 Skincare Products of 2020!
2020 was quite the year. From Covid to wildfires, there were many difficulties. But, a good thing to come from the past year was growth in the skincare community! Being at home gave us lots of time to focus on ourselves and discover things that interest us. I have always loved skincare but quarantine gave me the opportunity to focus on my skin in a way I would have never been able to do otherwise.
These are my favorite skincare products that I discovered this year!
1ļøā£peach slices - Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner
I purchased this product in early December. I usually like to use a product for a while before I decide how I feel about it and definitely before I recommend it, but this product is special. Iāve been using it for a short amount of time but I absolutely love it! I have dry, acne prone skin and this is ideal for my specific needs. It is super hydrating but it also helps treat and prevent acne.
2ļøā£FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser
This is a very basic cleanser but that is why I love it! It is very gentle and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use this alone on days when Iām not wearing makeup or as a second step in a double cleansing routine. This is great for any skin type but if you have dry or sensitive this is especially good for you.
3ļøā£BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream
I purchased a trial size of this product because there is no way I could justify spending more than $50 on a product that is less than an ounce. Because of the price I donāt think I will be repurchasing this, but that being said, I love this product! I struggle with sensitive under eyes that flake and peel when irritated. This eye cream hydrates the sensitive skin around my eyes without making them sting! If you are able to purchase this product I really do recommend it.
4ļøā£The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
As with pretty much everyone else, I found this product through TikTok. Iām a little late to the game though. I only recently started using this product but I can see a difference in my skin. I have milia on my forehead that makes my skin look textured and this helps! After using this product my skin feels soooo smooth. This product is very easy to misuse so make sure you are using it correctly and err on the side of caution.
5ļøā£GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm
This is the first cleansing balm I have ever used that I love. It feels so smooth on the face and easily removes all my makeup. I recommend it for anyone who is looking to double cleanse. Glow Recipe claims it can be used alone but I advise against that as it is hard to completely remove if you donāt follow it with a water based cleanser.
If you have any skincare discoveries from 2020 let me know in the comments! Iād love to know what products youāre bringing with you into the new year.

BAG FULL OF GOODIES
wanted to share my quick thoughts on some new products i have recently tried/incorporated into my routine!
āļø @theouai rose hair & body oil: we love a multi-functional product!!! this smells so fresh and is perfect for the ends of my hair for an extra boost of hydration. also makes me skin so soft!
āļø @boscia cleansing oil*: such a clean scent! i use about 2-3 pumps of this at night & easily removes all my makeup & spf. itās hydrating and doesnāt leave any type of film behind!
āļø @soleilsolace shimmering rose infused body oil*: this is a dream! it gives the perfect amount of hydration & shimmer!!! it blends effortlessly & leaves me so glowy.
āļø @cocokind tumeric tonic: i really enjoy tumeric in products, but still am unsure about this one. i have used this in my AM & PM routine, but didnāt really see any noticeable difference on breakouts. it is also a rollerball, which I am not a huge fan of. i am going to continue to test it out!
āļø @byroe_official better green essence toner*: really enjoy the idea of an essence + toner! i never really used an essence in my routine because I didnāt think it was necessary, but this is so hydrating! i use it my PM routine after cleansing and I find that it really preps my skin for my serums & moisturizer!
āļø @habitskin spf 41 mister*: absolutely LOVE the idea of a spf mister... itās genius tbh. it sprays on pretty evenly and light, however it does makes me look a bit oily. I think itās perfect for pool days & days where I am wearing minimal makeup, but not sure that I would use daily.
āļø @cocokind texture smoothing cream: light weight moisturizers are my go-to for combo skin & this is perfect! i mostly use this in my PM routine as a last step & it really does a nice job of locking everything in.
āļø @farmacybeauty daily greens moisturizer*: this is another great lightweight gel moisturizer! while i enjoy using it in my AM routine, I think I still like honey drop more. I like using this on no makeup days. it keeps me looking matte and fresh!

Eco-friendly skincare? We love to see it!
One of my favorite brands is Cocokind, and thatās because their products really work for my skin AND because theyāre so sustainable!
A while ago, I decided to switch over to more sustainable skincare brands, especially since I try so much, and Cocokind was a brand I discovered from my research.
Their packaging is all either glass or recycled sugarcane materials, which is absolutely amazing! These products always make me so happy to use because i know Iām not contributing negatively to the environment with my love of skincare.
Additionally, I really like these products because they come in little to no packaging (the paper is always recycled if used) and you donāt need to use cotton pads or single use items alongside these.
Definitely recommend checking them out!
Iāll update soon with my actual thoughts on these products but for now, Iām really impressed with the brand for its sustainability efforts.

My Korean Skincare Routine for Acne!!
SATURDAY SKIN - RISE + SHINE Purifying Cleanser AROMATICA - Rose Absolute First Serum MIZON - Snail Recovery Gel Cream BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Toner
I was on accutane for 4 months in 2019, and I thought I found the cure for my acne. Unfortunately, I started breaking out again in February of 2020. My breakouts went back and forth, but either way they left me with more PIE (Post Inflammatory Erythema aka those RED/PINK marks leftover from acne) My skin was also insanely dry and painful!! Any face wash I used just burned and irritated my skin even more! I didnāt have a consistent skincare routine, so I turned to peachandlily.com to look for a Korean skincare routine thatās also cruelty free. I think I found my new go to routine! Itās pretty simple, but after only 2 weeks I am satisfied with the products so far. Of course they donāt create miracles, but I donāt have any current breakouts (which Iām surprised my skin didnāt purge), my skin is MUCH more hydrated, and I feel as though my PIE looks slightly lighter!
I started with the Saturday Skin Rise + Shine Purifying Cleanser, then use the Banila Co Dear Hydration toner to help with my acne, follow it with the Aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum, and finish it off with the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel!
The Saturday Skin cleanser surprisingly leaves my skin moisturized! The Banila Co toner has peppermint extract to help calm acne. The Aromatica serum has niacinamide which is supposed to help calm acne and fade both PIE and hyperpigmentation. The Snail Recovery Gel has snail mucin to help calm acne and also moisturize with anti-aging effects!
Overall Iām very satisfied with this new routine, and I will update in a month to see how my skin is doing!

šorganization & how to move with skincareš
Iām moving soon and figured I should share my current organization for my skincare. I share a bathroom and wanted a way to keep all of my products to one drawer but still be able to see and have easy access to everything. I got this clear organizer from TJ Maxx (I have another for my makeup products). It fits nicely in my drawer and I love that I am able to find and pick out a product quickly.
As for my cleansers, they just kind of float around everywhere. I like to keep 1-2 in my shower and 1-2 next to my bathroom sink on the counter.
I just finished packing away (most of) my skin care and makeup by making sure everything was sealed to not leak and breakable packaging was wrapped up. In case you are curious, the last picture are the products that Iām leaving out and will go in my overnight bag to move. Iāll list all of this at the end because I think this selection could make a good minimal AM/PM routine on its own. But of course, I have to be more extra than that! š
Let me know if you want me to share my new #shelfie when I get settled at my new place!
Here the list of my products Iām keeping readily available for the move:
CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin
NATURIUM - Vitamin C Complex Serum
NATURIUM - Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5%
CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum
VERSED - THE SHORTCUT Overnight Facial Peel
CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
CeraVe-AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
Week 4 of Tretinoin and Spirinolactone Journey
This is the end of my fourth week going on Spirinolactone (pills for hormonal acne that I take 1x a day) and Tretinoin.
This first half is a repeat of last weekās post, though I have made some slight updates to my routine. The new info will be right below my posted routine.
I purchased both treatments from Apostrophe, so they have been prescribed by a dermatologist.
My Apostrophe cream formula is 0.025% Tretinoin and 4% Niacinimide.
Iāve simplified my routine to only include an oil cleanser, a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, the tret cream, a sunscreen, and an occlusive . I have normal skin. Iām looking to add more in as I adjust to treatment. My routine is as follows:
AM
CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin
dear, klairs - Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner
COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
PM
DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil
CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin
dear, klairs - Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner
COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence (on non-tret nights)
CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
Apostrophe formula (using this after moisturizer so I can have a buffer between the tret and my skin)
CeraVe - Healing Ointment
So I added snail mucin and a hydrating toner as part of my regular routine. Iām now switching to everyday use of tret, so I want to keep my moisture barrier intact as my usage increases. Iām using snail mucin in the mornings, and am considering using it at night along with tret. Is the snail mucin 2x a day even better it is it just overkill? Iām also using the Cerave healing ointment as an occlusive to seal in hydration and moisture as the last step of my routine.
Iām definitely in the purging period. Iām seeing a lot of pustules and closed comedones show up. Super excited, because this is showing me that Tret is actually working and speeding up my cell turnover. Iām am concerned about the Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) and the Post-Inflammatory Erythema (PIE) that will be left over after my acne subsides. Are there any products that for sure get rid of PIH/PIE. If you know of any, comment down below!
COSRX-Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
Kosmetic Immunity
What is Beta Glucan and what does it do for your skin? Welllll, it's a large molecule made up of a bunch of sugar molecules, starch and cellulose bonded together. Studies have shown that it can help treat dermatitis, ezcema, wounds and burns. It essential helps boost your skin barrier, especially if it's compromised, and tells your skin to fight pathogens. It also deeply hydrates the skin and is 20% more hydrating then hyaluronic acid.
With all that in mind I was so excited to give @jkosmmune_cosmetics line a try (and extra excited when I won their giveaway of almost their entire line)! I've used Beta Glucan in the past after receiving a DMK treatment - my skin healed sooo quickly from the treatment when using the serum with Beta Glucan. I've tried all of the products from the line, including the serum which isn't pictured and I purchased on my own, and have been loving them! The cleanser is surprising jumped up my list of favorites to the top! All the products are extremely hydrating, but not too hydrating that I get oily throughout the day.
Have you tried the line or any other Beta Glucan products? What did you think? I've seen some great reviews for other brands that include the ingredient!
Overall Rating: 4/5 - I've seen some mixed reviews on beta glucan and fungal acne, if that's a concern I'd be wary!
Do you worry about acne after your workout
Hey Everyone! So these are some products that helped me feel better after working out!
So the first two products are really good for sensitive/dry skin. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser THE inkey LIST - Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gentle Exfoliating Toner
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser - I use this as a double cleanse in my nighttime routine, and a single cleanser after the gym. It cleans the dirt and sweat really well.
THE inkey LIST - Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gentle Exfoliating Toner - I then go in with this toner to get excess dirt off.
SKYORGANICS - Vitamin E Oil - I finish up with Vitamin E oil because itās light enough to last me until my night time shower.
Now the next two products are for more acne prone skin
PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength - use this if you get back acne or just any acne after sweating. I bought it for my boyfriend who works out everyday so after the gym he will rinse off with this bad boy and everything is all good.
THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser - this is the extra step to take to really make sure you get the excess dirt off.
SKYORGANICS - Vitamin E Oil - Still follow up with a moisturizer because benzoyl peroxide can be very drying and you want to keep the good stuff in.
Thank you if you have anything to add leave a comment below! Follow me as well to help me become more educated about all the different skin.
