Today I figured I’d show you all a lil DE family portrait. I haven’t yet dived into the deep end with all of the full sizes of these, so for now these’ll have to do. My thoughts on the T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial - of all DE products, I feel like this one is the most hyped up, but it’s disappointed me I just don’t see huge results with it; my face isn’t baby soft as this mask claims to make it. It’ll be slightly softer, but I just don’t see a huge difference. Maybe that’s because I already use acids and chemical exfoliants on my face so often? There’s not much left for Babyfacial to do? 🤷🏻♀️ . Though I’ve only used the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum in conjunction with the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil a few times, I’ve been pleased with the results the next morning every time, especially after washing it off with the Beste Jelly Cleanser. The trifecta of those 3 products together just make my skin so soft and smooth 🙌🏻 . Today, I thought I’d try something different. First, I pumped on a bit of the C-Firma Day Serum, and clearly I’ve been living my life wrong in not using this guy every day because I see results *immediately* with this serum. I’m talking an even skin tone and a glowing complexion. My face looks so healthy, and the best part is I know I’m using a product that’s good for my skin. . So, like I was saying, trying something new. I mixed in my palm a lil cocktail of Lala Retro Whipped Cream, Protini Polypeptide Cream, and Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil - I wanted the best of all 3 worlds, what can I say?! 😂 I was afraid everything would weigh heavily on my face and make me look oily and never sink in properly, but was. I. wrong. This cocktail (or smoothie?!) is one that I will have to replicate every time I wear DE on my face during the day. My face today looks so moisturized if I may say so myself, I am ✨ glowing ✨ .
DRUNK ELEPHANT-Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer
This mask is definitely not stripping or irritating - I felt no tingly sensation like with other charcoal masks I’ve used, and my feels feels nice and smooth after washing this guy off (except for my nose area - is a little drier there now). The application - so fun! This mask has activated bamboo charcoal and Binchotan White Charcoal Powder in it , so you go from a black color with white swirl in it to a gray the color of this. upon application-I kept this mask on for maybe a half hour? It didn’t dry out or crack at all - good for sensitive and dry skin types! Washing it off was a dream - no discomfort that I would usually experience while washing off a charcoal-based mask. The after-effects: I noticed reduced pores on my nose and around it for a little while, but then they became noticeable again 😕 Also, I did what I like to call the nose gunk test: it sounds really gross, and it is - I like to squeeze my nose really tight to see if any gunk will come out of the pores - and even after using this mask, some gunk did come out 😭 But, I asked the bf what he thought: “You face looks clean. Like, really really clean. Squeaky clean.” So, at least this mask’s got that going for it 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve been using livingproof for a few years, and it really has been the OG haircare brand in my haircare collection. I’ve really only used the Restore collection the most, so that’s the one I can really attest to. The Restore collection works to restore (obviously lol), smooth, repair, correct and protect damaged hair. Restore Perfecting Spray - I’ve been using this guy for the past two years, and it’s perfect. As if the beautiful packaging and lovely smell of this product weren’t enough, this guy is my go-to for whenever I’ve hopped out of the shower after washing my hair. I never used leave-in conditioner before I started dyeing my hair, but ever since I did I haven’t stopped - anyone with colored hair can surely attest to the damage that follows a balayage or whatever other treatment! This is nice and lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down. Did I mention it smells just lovely?! Restore Repair Leave-In - alas, I’ve never had the pleasure of having in my care a full size bottle of this, so I’ve used it sparingly in the time that I’ve had it! I’ll only bring this guy out if my hair is in serious need of repair - like if I’ve been at the beach or haven’t washed my hair in a week (☠️) It’s got a thick consistency but fear not because once you work it into your strands your hair absorbs the product quickly, for a nourished, healthy finish ✨
This lovely Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask is meant to detoxify, decongest and de stress the skin, which is definitely something everyone could use This mask is made with - Matcha Green Tea Extract, which helps to reduce oil, fights free radical damage, brightens and rejuvenates skin - Bakuchiol, a natural compound obtained from an edible seed of Indian origin, which promotes collagen and elastin - Willowbark Extract, a natural salicylic acid that combats acne and reduces redness - Willowherb, a natural skin-calming botanical - Jojoba Seed, a natural moisturizer that improves skin softness and reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Now, I’m not a tea drinker at all, but I love the smell of this mask: it smells fresh, clean, natural. Because this guy sat in my air conditioned bedroom all night, it had a cool and soft clay-like consistency, which was a real pleasure to slather on . I left the mask on for about 45 minutes maybe, during which time it dried on my face, however not in any uncomfortable way. I was afraid it would be uncomfortable washing this guy off since it has become dry, but it so wasn’t - as soon as it touched water it totally softened up and melted off Though my skin wasn’t softer it looked smoother and brighter, my pores were way less noticeable and I had this amazing glow to my face!. This one is such a winner, guys. I would definitely repurchase (for the smell and lovely green color alone 😂) 💚 Has anyone tried this guy? What did you think?

I’m so, so, so happy with this Soy Face Cleanser - it is so, 100% worth the hype - it totally removes all my makeup, mascara and eyeliner and all, and it softens my skin like no other cleanser does. It’s made with amino acid-rich soy proteins which help maintain elasticity and healthy skin, rosewater to calm and balance, calming cucumber extract to aid in soothing the skin, and borage seed oil which helps to nourish. This cleanser smells lovely and refreshing, and does everything that it claims to. You guys need to grab one of these Limited Edition sizes before they’re gone! The package is so aesthetically pleasing, which is SUCH a plus - y’all know how much I love me some aesthetically pleasing packaging Who else is obsessed with this cleanser?!

The Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish is a luxurious, creamy formula with Shea and Jojoba Butters and Sweet Almond Oil, blended with ground Luffa Fruit, that is meant to exfoliate skin without drying the skin I can attest to this! It lathers up lightly in the shower and nurtures the skin with Pure Honey and Soy Milk Protein It’s not the strongest exfoliant I’ve used, but it’s a good one for sensitive skin! La Crème de Corps is made with Beta-Carotene (a naturally-derived antioxidant predominantly found in many vegetables and used in Vitamin A production), Cocoa Butter and Sesame Oil, and sinks into the skin super fast! It’s one of the fastest-drying lotions that I have and is perfect for when I need to moisturize but still get dressed and get out of my place in a hurry!
