Favorite cleansers & current haircare!
CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Honey Moisture Deep Conditioning Mask The Innate life Shampoo&Conditioner ( was not linked :( ) Hey guys! I haven’t done a post in a while. I hope you are all doing well. I can’t believe it’s already December! Wow! I live in Minnesota and for ONCE there still has not been any snow which makes me really sad because it’s not December without snow :(. However it still has been very cold and I’ve currently have added some new products into my self-care routine! First picture- all 3 of those cleansers I have loved and recommend to other loved ones! I get a lot of people asking me what cleanser I use and I always give them those 3 options because they have been the ones to work best for my oily/combo skin! I recently finished the Fresh soy wash and am currently finishing up the YTTP one! The first cleanser I have ever tried has been Cerave and I swear by it so much! I understand not everything works for everyone but these 3 cleansers would definitely be my top best 3! Second picture- The Innate Life natural shampoo and conditioner, This is the first natural shampoo and conditioner brand I have ever used and I have got to say it works amazing for my hair! I love how clarifying yet non stripping the shampoo is, the conditioner is definitely a thin and lightweight consistency but has hydrated my hair very well! I have long thick curly hair and I try my best to stay away from products that contain bad chemicals and ingredients for my hair. I love this brand and will continue to purchase it for my hair. I have never done an in depth haircare routine for my hair so if you are interested let me know in the comments so I can go in depth in what products I use (: ! Third picture- Olaplex No. 3& Briogeo honey hair mask When I tell you how excited I got when Briogeo brought back their honey hair mask! I have never clicked so fast to order something EVER! I SWEAR by this mask. My hair is very dry thick curly low porosity hair and this stuff makes my hair soooo soft and it smells AMAZING! I love it so much, I love briogeo as a whole brand and I love how they formulate their products without sulphates & silicones ( I do not follow CG method but I prefer no sulphates!). I was so happy to order both olaplex No. 3 and the hair mask set and used together will make your hair feel & smell so good! (Like I said I can make an entire post about my haircare regimen if you are interested) Thank you so much for reading ! ❤️

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA did THIS to my skin
I remember about 1-2 months ago I had just received PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator in the mail and I was soo excited to try it out! I didn’t review it based on its performance because I wanted to give it a little while and see how it worked on my skin. Before I had used this I had a really bad allergic reaction to benzoyl peroxide as you can see in the picture it made my skin flare up into tiny textured bumps (basically ruined my skin barrier) However I was also very excited to try out the Bha. I remember the first few weeks of using this I absolutely HATED how much it made my skin purge. If you’re not ready to deal with purging and your skin looking like absolute shit for a couple of weeks then well don’t ever exfoliate because that’s what happens when you use chemical based exfoliants (: (that was sarcasm please exfoliate and don’t use st Ives scrubs) anyways... yes you guys the purging that comes along with this is crazy. It’s like my skin was renewed, after the purging cleared up I began to see that my skin complexion was a lot brighter and bouncier. Most of the texture I had was finally starting to fade away and my skin was very smooth and soft to the touch. This BHA is so gentle as well, It says it’s okay to be used everyday BUT DON’T CHEMICALLY EXFOLIATE EVERYDAY pleaseeee don’t do this, it may be gentle and not irritate your skin but it will completely ruin your skin barrier. Over exfoliating can be very damaging so I would recommend using this once or twice a week. My final thoughts on PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator is 100% 5/5. This toner blew me away and completely changed my skin texture. It helped reduce a little oil production as well. I will definitely recommend this to my loved ones ( I have already to my boyfriend lol ) my boyfriend suffered from cystic acne and this toner has completely changed his skin as well. He’s very appreciative to having a girlfriend who’s obsessed with skincare. 😌 I 💯 recommend this toner if you are just starting out with a chemical exfoliant, it’s very gentle yet SUPER effective! Please give your skin some love and try this out! YOU WILL PURGE but skin always gets worse before it gets better (:

All about Youth To The People ✨
I haven’t made a post in a long time and I’ve recently stocked up on my favorite night time cleanser the YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser ! This cleanser is perfect omg! The smell, the texture, the suddsy clean and refreshing feeling you get from this cleanser is amazing! It’s perfect for my oily combo skin especially at night. For morning I go in with a more gentle cleanser because as you know fall and winter is coming up and Minnesota cold weather is NOT IT. The YTTP cleanser gives an amazing cleanse, doesn’t dry up my skin and is perfect with their YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi I bought this with the adaptogen mist! It was a mini set sold at Sephora for 24$ so knowing me, a skincare ADDICT I had to purchase it. (: before using the cream and YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha I used to use the big old Cerave tub. Now I loved that moisturizer I really did. But I got bored of it. I love trying new things and the YTTP adaptogen cream has replaced her :( (Sorry Cerave) seriously though I love this cream!! I was a bit scared to try it out because I was worried it would be too heavy for my oily/combo skin, but it’s definitely a lot lighter than the Cerave cream. It’s veryyyy hydrating, non greasy and FRAGRANCE FREE! I will definitely be purchasing the full size once I finish the mini one (: I’ve also been really enjoying the YTTP Adaptogen mist however, it’s not really a staple in my skincare routine. It does feel nice and hydrating but I don’t know if I will be purchasing the full size because I don’t find a mist necessary in my routine. I love how refreshed my skin feels after spraying this on, maybe I will repurchase the full size maybe not?? If I see dramatic results from it but for now it is a maybe (: YTTP has definitely been a loved brand by me, I also did order their Dream mask and I will review that very soon!! I definitely recommend this brand if you are wanting to try something that isn’t drugstore. I love how their packaging is glass and they are also cruelty-free! Thank you for taking the time to read this ❤️❤️ I hope you guys have an amazing day <3

My Two Favorites From Paula’s Choice!
I am one who has very sensitive oily skin. My skin will breakout to ANYTHING. A piece of cloth could make contact with my skin and I will have the worst breakout the next day. I heard about Paula’s Choice from many influencers who swear by it. I decided to try it out when I browsed through their website and found the love of my life. The PAULA'S CHOICE - Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 now I can give a brief explanation on why I love this stuff, I will NEVER use another Spf because nothing compares to this baby. The main reason why I love this spf is because it’s MINERAL. Like I said I have extremely sensitive oily skin, and every sunscreen I have tried, sucked. My skin hates chemical sunscreens, it makes my skin very itchy and inflamed. I never knew my skin actually had an allergic reaction to MOST chemical sunscreens until I heard about mineral sunscreens, I never knew the difference so I decided to educate myself and when I finally knew the difference, I decided to purchase the only spf I will ever use for the rest of my life. This spf is lightweight, helps with oil production, and is tinted! I know most mineral sunscreens leave a white cast, some people can get away with it, but I’m middle eastern EVERY sunscreen left a white cast on my skin. The texture of this spf is so beautiful, it’s matte and applies on the skin so smoothly, almost buttery but without all the grease. If you are one who loves mineral spfs, has oily skin, and has a little melanin to them this sunscreen will just do! For a while now I’ve been meaning to try the PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator I’ve had this for 2 days so far, still waiting on the purging part because I heard from so many reviews that this makes you purge like crazy, but it also makes your skin baby smooth after the purging, now I don’t mind skin purging because it’s normal, skin gets worse before it gets better. But what I really love about this stuff is how hydrating it is. Before using this I used to use Stridex pads, they worked fine but my oily skin felt STRIPPED, so I only used the pads once or twice a week. With this toner, I was able to use it every night and it did nothing but add an extra hydration to my skin. The texture of this stuff is very runny but I don’t mind that, I spread it over my hands and pat it into clean skin. It feels very nice and hydrating is all I can say about it for now. I will review this product again in a month and let you know how it ACTUALLY performs and if it really deserves the hype.

Easy No Foundation 5 Step Makeup Routine ✨✨
Hey guys! Today i decided to share my makeup routine with you! - I’m someone who loves a natural settle no makeup makeup look because, I am someone who HATES the feeling of makeup on my face (LOL). I love a full face makeup, don’t get me wrong, but not everyday :( only on special occasions, like weddings, parties, etc. - Since I only use 5 products on my face + my lovely L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara, I decided to share what I use on my face with you! 1. Concealer, I’ve been using the e.l.f. - HD Lifting Concealer for a while now, I honestly stole this from my mom LMAO but In all honesty I don’t really like it that much, not because of the consistency or anything, but the shade is a little lighter than my skin tone. I end up making it blend nicely in my skin however, I need to use less powder to set it because then it’ll look wayyyy to bright and it’ll make me look like a washed out alien. 😂 if you want a medium coverage concealer than I’d recommend this, but I’m someone who would prefer a more natural tint or something more similar to my skintone! 2. Bronzer, I purchased this KYLIE COSMETICS - KYLIE COSMETICS Bronzer bronzer back in December, let me just say this will give you the most beautiful sun kissed bronzy look everrrr!! I love this stuff. It’s matte and it doesn’t have any shimmer to it at all (I hate shimmery bronzer). If you want a soft beautiful NATURAL bronzy look, I would definitely recommend this! I apply it on my cheek bones, cheeks, nose, forehead, literally all over my face! I make sure not to use so much because it is VERY pigmented. 3. Blush, GIRL, GET YOU SOME Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color BECAUSE OMGGG! It’s the most beautiful natural blush that I’ve ever used! I love Glossier Makeup, probably because I’m such a h0e for the natural look, but you guys, this blush is soo beautiful on any skintone, it’s so pigmented too, so a little goes a long way! I apply it all over my cheeks and nose for that extra sun kissed look (: 4. Highlight, The Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter is definitely a wet skin kind of highlighter. This highlighter is very natural and goes on very beautifully on the skin, however, using too much will make you look greasy so I would say a little goes a long way for this one (: it definitely is my favorite and the only highlighter I use. I will never purchase another one. 5. Lips/Eyes Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in cherry is a very beautiful tinted lip balm that gives me a beautiful juicy look to my lips. I love applying a tinted lip balm rather than gloss or lipstick because a lip balm does not dry out or break my lips out, my lips are prone to getting tiny bumps especially when I use new lip products so I like to just stick to a tinted natural look (: As for eyes I use the L’Oréal telescopic mascara in darkest black. It’s my favorite and definitely gives my eyelashes a beautiful and natural lift (:
My night time skincare routine (:
✨ Hey guys! I know I haven’t really been active on here, but tonight I decided to finally show you my night time skincare routine! A night time skincare regimen is very important for beautiful skin. I think after a lot of trial and error I’ve finally perfected my night time skincare regimen to the point where I don’t have to or need to add in new products or get rid of products! I know this probably looks like a lot, but compared to my morning skincare, (literally moisturizer and sunscreen) a night skincare should be all about regenerating, prepping, and hydrating the skin for the next day! ✨- It isn’t shown in this picture, but for cleansing the skin I like to cleanse my skin with the Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser! Now I’ve been using this product along with the moisturizing cream long before the hype! I’ve been using Cerave since I was 15 and now I’m about to be 18!! (Lolll shocker) Anyways, I love Cerave, I love how gentle and kind it is to the skin, a good night time skincare regimen does not have to be expensive, it just needs to be safe and good on the skin! Your skin needs love and it needs it especially at night! ✨- I love hydration! It’s KEY to amazing and glowing skin, I recently have been using the Heritage Rose Water Spray as my toner after I cleanse, this spray is simple the ingredients are simply purified water, and Hydroessential Rose (Rosa Damascena), it’s very soothing and hydrating especially after chemical exfoliating although it has a little fragrance to it, I don’t mind it it isn’t strong at all. ✨- After cleansing and toning, I like to go in with my Cos De Baha Nicinamide + Zinc serum, now if you haven’t read my post about this stuff, please go check it out. This serum is amazing for my oily skin, it’s helped reduce my oil production to the point where I am no longer oily during the day, it’s also helped with my hyperpigmentation and dark spots around my mouth and nose area. It’s very soothing and I just love it so much in my opinion it is better than the Ordinary’s. ✨- Last but not least, is moisturizing, I love using a thick moisturizer morning and night, even oily skin needs moisture. I like to use Squalane oil and my Cerave cream, I mix a drop into the cream and smother it all over my face, afterwards I like to add a little drop of the oil into my palms of my hand and pat that all over my face as well, and lastly I like to spray the rose water spray again just for that extra moisture and glow!

If you don't know how to determine hair strand type, check this out👉
The first way to discover what kind of hair you have is by determining the diameter of your hair width of your strands. Hair's diameter has nothing to do with the amount hair you actually have. It ' s all about how wide the individual strands are. If you want to figure out what kind of hair you have, go for it, read on. To find out the width, we can start by taking a single strand of hair and laying it flat on sometinng. If you can barely see the hair or feel it between your fingertips, then you have fine hair. If the hair strand looks thick and appears to be textured, then the coarse hair you get it. If your hair is somewhere in-between, then you have a moderate or medium width. Knowing this will help us better determine which types of products we should pick. For coarse hair, has a lot of texture, is prone to frizz, and often doesn ' t retain water. Mine is naturally straight, frizzy, coarse hair. To solve the problem, we must hydrate the coarse hair and use some deep conditioning mask. Best investment you could make for your hair-Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask. This brought some life and shine to it while I grow it out and get it healthy again. I usually use it after shampooing, message into my hair, ensuring the conditioner is evenly applied. Leave in for 5 to 10 minutes. I only use it every 2 weeks but I cover my hair with a plastic cap (even a plastic grocery bag works for this) and using a diffuser on my hair dryer. This deep conditioner has been awesome for my dry, coarse hair. This product seems to actually strengthen hair and not just coat it like some other products. If you have the same hair as mine, Highly recommend!!

𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝 & 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭
I love using this even when I do messy buns and stuff. It’s also curly girl friendly for any of you that are on that method &/or have curly hair that you just wanna keep healthy. It has a gentle smell, but it makes your hair shine in a flattering way, it doesn’t make your hair look greasy or dirty and that’s one of the reasons I love it. And it’s not too heavy it’s very light feeling in your hair. It’s worth every dollar in my opinion :) Where to find it 🛍: Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and ofc sheamoisture.com. However it’s the most expensive on their actual website, so I suggest finding it somewhere else first :) SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist

Award Winning Mask
I’ve shared this beauty before and probably won’t ever stop talking about it. Cause it’s THAT GOOD! I’ve now been using this for a good 2.5 months and can say I won’t ever be able to go without. It’s jam-packed with goodness - Vitamin c, Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid & Antioxidant rich superberries. Adding this into my skincare routine has made a wonderful difference! I’ve noticed healthier, brighter, more even-toned skin. And I can safely use it with my AHA/BHA products as well as retinol. Another big selling point for me...you only need the smallest dab to cover everything - face, neck and décolletage! People, DON’T FORGET YOUR NECK AND DÉCOLLETAGE! I need to do a post on how important this is! I’ve been working hard on my décolletage area as I have a lot of sun spots and wrinkles from lack of care! Start now instead of playing catch-up like me, a woman in her 40’s who can tell you DON’T WAIT FOR THE ISSUES TO ARRISE - PREVENT BY TAKING CARE NOW! The amount pictured is all needed. I wasted a lot of product in the early stages of using this and learned to start small and add in more IF needed! This $48 dollar jar will last you a long time! • Vegan-free 🌱 • Cruelty-free 🐰 • Gluten-free 🍞 I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve tried this. The only facial spray I use🥒🌿
MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea I have been using this facial spray since university and I won’t go back to other sprays. The aloe and cucumber are my favourite out of the other scents (the lavender one broke me out). This spray is AMAZING in the summer because the aloe reduces redness/ from the sun. It can be used as a setting spray, prep the skin post face wash, or just a pick me up during the day. I keep one at my office for the middle of the day hydration 💦
