It’s summer so I’m looking to switch to more gel and gel cream moisturizers to keep my skin hydrated but with a lightweight touch. I’ve been using the @versed dew point moisturizing gel cream for about 2 weeks now and it’s a perfect fit for my summer skincare routines. It’s packed with ingredients such as glycerin, green tea, aloe, squalane, jojoba seed oil, wheat germ oil, and sodium hyaluronate to provide the skin with a refreshing veil of hydration. This has a lightweight gel cream texture that dries down to a skin matte finish. This doesn’t pill and layers quite well under sunscreen for me. I mostly used this during the daytime as I prefer a much thicker more occlusive moisturizer in the evening. It’s a great daytime moisturizer but I don’t find that it provides a ton of hydration on it’s own since I found my skin craving for a bit more. The hydration I felt was more surface level but once I paired this with a more moisturizing sunscreen then I’m set for the entire day and my skin just feels adequate throughout the day. A small tip as to how I get the most from this is I spritz a bit of water onto my skin before applying to lock in as much hydration as possible. I found this to be the upgraded version of the neutrogena hydro boost gel cream since it contains a bit more extra ingredients. So if you like that one, you should give this a try. This is best for combo to oily skin types but I don’t think this anywhere near enough hydration and moisture for drier skin types. Oh there’s no fragrance in this so there’s no scent either. Overall, this is a fantastic summer time moisturizer for combo to oily skin types. You’ll feel hydrated but not greasy as the day goes on. It works great in the hot humid weather that I live in. I would definitely repurchase this in the future. Have you guys tried this yet? If so, any thoughts on it? Rating: 4/5 🌟 #CherieCreator #Versed

Creams for oily skin
sfostI love it! It's rare for me to find a moisturizer that doesn't break me out. However, I do agree that I need something more moisturizing at night.

Beauty Thanks 😊 Grateful for Everything!!!
My favorite part of thanksgiving is not food but actually taking a moment to appreciate all of the things I’m thankful for in my life... This has been undisputedly a rough year for everyone but despite it all, we made it this far!!! I’m so thankful that this year has not only taught us to be patient but also gave us a chance to really think about what’s important and really focus on how to treat ourselves better. I myself got to learn more about skincare and all things beauty and try so many different products this year which really helped me improve my skincare routine. Cherie played an important role too when it came to buying some of these products like the PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator that Cherie made me buy. It’s a holy grail in my routine!!! Some other products I tried this year... VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream MAYBELLINE - Lifter Gloss With Hyaluronic Acid LANEIGE - Glowy Makeup Serum OFRA - Foaming Vitamin C Cleanser and the list goes on.... Let me know in the comments what you are truly grateful for? And..... 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆! 🍽🦃
Current Night Time Routine - 4 to 5 Steps
Well, 4 to 5 after cleansing :-) for which I use Biore charcoal cleanser. But if I have really heavy makeup on I double cleanse with No7 cleansing balm and then Biore cleanser. So as for my new nightly routine: The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion I did see a reduction in my fine lines since using this, so I’m going to keep a retinoid or retinol in my Arsenal at all times, since this bottle is almost empty N°7 - Restore & Renew Face & Neck Multi Action Serum smells good, makes your face soft, um..... dr. brandt - Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask really really works to brighten my skin and gets rid of my redness VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream felt wonderful when applying, not too much of a scent, and absorbed really fast. My skin feels so hydrated. 4 stars because this is only my 1st night using it!!! 💜💜💜 Where’s the 5 step you’re asking? Well let me tell ya!! It’s any one of my gazillion masks(sheet masks) (mud masks charcoal masks) pastes, goos , you name it. I’ll pick 2 a week and do them. Although *SpoilerAlert* I will be doing a week long masking and posting the results daily. Let me know down in the comments if you’d like to see that. Oh I forgot to mention it’s a k beauty brand designed to last 7 days. I saw it and was 🧐 🧐???
Calming Gel Moisturizer for Oily Skin!
íUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream I’ve always wrestled with trying to find a great moisturizer that isn’t too thick for my oily/combo skin, especially in the mornings, and this product really took the cake. I use this right before I apply sunscreen, and it absorbs right into my skin giving it a soothing sensation...so good.

There’s a new moisturizer on the block!
So you know me. I’m a Farmacy fanatic through and through. When I got word a new moisturizer was being launch boy was I excited. Then when I heard it closely resembles Green Clean, (the scent I wish I could bottle up and clean my entire house with!) I knew I would love it. Cause it sure does smell very familiar to GC! First off, What I like: the packaging. The green jar that I can upcycle when done. Its interesting that it’s not a gel, nor a cream, but something more in between. I appreciate that a nickel size dollop covers my face and neck. What I dislike: I’m not a big fan of the texture for my face. I have normal skin and I find at times some of my products do tend to feel tacky if I haven’t let them dry through each application. It doesn’t really pill, it just feels tacky and I don’t want to come in with a foundation right away. I think this is going to be a hit for those with oily to combination skin. FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya $38 for 1.7 oz - the bottle it’s small and I feel like I would maybe run through it very quickly using it on my skin type. As stated I’m a huge Farmacy Fan and I love that they are bringing more to the table for options in skincare. It’s not a “one cream fits all” world and having more options is always fun. Thanks for reading my review 💚 #CherieCreator

Why I LOVE Hyaluronic Acid in my Moisturizers
I have been loving this FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya it is the perfect gel moisturizer. I have oily/combo skin so gel consistencies are the best for my skin type. This product is like a drink of water for your skin. This product is packed with so many amazing ingredients like Moringa Seed Extract, Papaya Extract, 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid and Polyglutamic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is one of my all time favorite ingredients in skincare, it is so hydrating. I find it is so essential no matter what skin type you have. It keeps your skin glowy, fresh, bouncy and hydrated. This product is perfect for that! I found this product straight from Farmacy, it’s a new release and it is so worth every single penny! I love using this with my PM routine and it’s also PERFECT for under makeup since it sinks in so easily. Only downside is there is a strong fragrance so this may not be suited for sensitive skin, but I personally love the scent!

Krave Beauty The Beet Shield Review
My current favorite spf is the @kravebeauty the beet shield. In Korea this is marketed as sunscreen but bc the US FDA has not updated their beauty/skincare regulation in the last 80 years, the Beet Shield in the US is marketed as an antioxidant-rich day fluid. It is the same formula as the Korean version (Beet the Sun SPF 50+ PA++++) though so don’t be alarmed. I love how easily this absorbs into the skin. It has a condensed milk kind of texture but it isn’t sticky at all once it is applied all over the skin. It does not pill under makeup and it doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy at all which is a huge plus for me since I have oily skin. 5/5 from me 💚💚💚💚💚 My only gripe with this is the scent. It does have a slight weird scent to it but after a while it does disappear. I don’t hear a lot of people talking about its scent but then again, I have a super sensitive nose. It doesn’t bother me too much since it disappears after a while, unlike their GBR (I can’t stand that smell 😩). I know I have talked about this brand before like pretty recently but I really do enjoy this brand. Not only for their products but for the brand’s philosophy and what they stand for. PRESS RESET! Old, New, Same SPF. Always 👏🏻
Have you found a SPF you can’t live without? Out with the old. In with the new. Wearing SPF is an essential in a skincare and daily routine. You should reapply every 2-3 hours depending on sun exposure/sweating, etc. The Beet Shield PA++++ is a korean sunscreen from the brand Krave Beauty. (^ PA means protection grade of UVA. this protects from UVA rays with protection increasing with each +) It is not marketed as a “SPF” in the states because the active sunscreen ingredients are not commercially FDA approved YET. The US is far behind in the sunscreen game. I find Korean sunscreens are by far the best products! (Purito has amazing spf’s as well). This brand was created by an extremely popular Korean Youtuber Liah Yoo (go check her youtube—she is really knowledgeable and relatable). Why is it so good? ☀️ Everyone’s skin is different and preference for products differs as well. This SPF leaves a dewy finish on the skin that makes you GLOW, but doesn’t feel oily. I have found that I prefer to wear this when I am not wearing makeup. When I wear makeup it is too dewy for my oily/combo skin and I don’t like the way it looks really. It has antioxidants in the formula such as beetreet extract, allantoin, vitamin C, resveratrol, and EGCG. These all help fight environmental pollution! So not only is your skin protected from the sun, but also from pollution and free radicals. It is $20 for 1oz, which is a little steep but I just find this stuff is one of a kind and works really well for my skin. Krave - The Beet Shield

Why is First Aid Beauty so FAB?
So First Aid Beauty is a favourite skincare brand of mine. Here are three reasons why: 1. They work for everyone and any skin type. Period. 2. They are affordable AND considered above drugstore skincare 3. They are a kind company that gives back when they can Bonus: There is a product from their line for any skincare need you have! I have had such wonderful communication with them as a beauty influencer on Instagram and they have been incredibly kind about any questions I have about their products and have actually sent me items when I have asked to try! I haven’t run into one product that didn’t work beautifully for me and my drier, more sensitive skin. Even my boyfriend and Mom are addicted to their creams!! They recently have a campaign that proceeds from their FAB AID products and kit go towards students who need the help and have offered student discounts! It’s so kind of a skincare brand to think of this as we always need skincare and it tends to be low priority when we are tired and poor students. The best part is that they formulate without irritating ingredients and fragrance to just make your skin healthy. Whenever I need a “reset” I resort to my pure skin cleanser and ultra repair cream to restore hydration and eliminate any irritation or sensitivty. The oat toner is a daily must for me since it makes my skin just so soft and less inflamed from exfoliation or breakouts. It’s the most simple product that does such a beautiful job. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner Another one I have been loving is the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Limited Edition Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer it’s just so beautiful! It’s mega hydrating and grips to foundation to make it look soft and healthy and skin like all day long. It gives the most subtle pearly glow too!
