Easy No Foundation 5 Step Makeup Routine ✨✨
Hey guys! Today i decided to share my makeup routine with you! - I’m someone who loves a natural settle no makeup makeup look because, I am someone who HATES the feeling of makeup on my face (LOL). I love a full face makeup, don’t get me wrong, but not everyday :( only on special occasions, like weddings, parties, etc. - Since I only use 5 products on my face + my lovely L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara, I decided to share what I use on my face with you! 1. Concealer, I’ve been using the e.l.f. - HD Lifting Concealer for a while now, I honestly stole this from my mom LMAO but In all honesty I don’t really like it that much, not because of the consistency or anything, but the shade is a little lighter than my skin tone. I end up making it blend nicely in my skin however, I need to use less powder to set it because then it’ll look wayyyy to bright and it’ll make me look like a washed out alien. 😂 if you want a medium coverage concealer than I’d recommend this, but I’m someone who would prefer a more natural tint or something more similar to my skintone! 2. Bronzer, I purchased this KYLIE COSMETICS - KYLIE COSMETICS Bronzer bronzer back in December, let me just say this will give you the most beautiful sun kissed bronzy look everrrr!! I love this stuff. It’s matte and it doesn’t have any shimmer to it at all (I hate shimmery bronzer). If you want a soft beautiful NATURAL bronzy look, I would definitely recommend this! I apply it on my cheek bones, cheeks, nose, forehead, literally all over my face! I make sure not to use so much because it is VERY pigmented. 3. Blush, GIRL, GET YOU SOME Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color BECAUSE OMGGG! It’s the most beautiful natural blush that I’ve ever used! I love Glossier Makeup, probably because I’m such a h0e for the natural look, but you guys, this blush is soo beautiful on any skintone, it’s so pigmented too, so a little goes a long way! I apply it all over my cheeks and nose for that extra sun kissed look (: 4. Highlight, The Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter is definitely a wet skin kind of highlighter. This highlighter is very natural and goes on very beautifully on the skin, however, using too much will make you look greasy so I would say a little goes a long way for this one (: it definitely is my favorite and the only highlighter I use. I will never purchase another one. 5. Lips/Eyes Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in cherry is a very beautiful tinted lip balm that gives me a beautiful juicy look to my lips. I love applying a tinted lip balm rather than gloss or lipstick because a lip balm does not dry out or break my lips out, my lips are prone to getting tiny bumps especially when I use new lip products so I like to just stick to a tinted natural look (: As for eyes I use the L’Oréal telescopic mascara in darkest black. It’s my favorite and definitely gives my eyelashes a beautiful and natural lift (:
My advice for bleached + colored hair!
I am no stranger to putting my hair through the ringer. I’ve literally done it all to my hair... and I mean shaved it, bleached it, rainbow.. EVERYTHING. One thing I was always stopped and asked was how I kept my hair so soft and healthy with all the bleach and processing. My best tips are pretty manageable, but also a big investment in your hair! >> Bleaching your hair << Go to a professional. Don’t fry your hair off please. It’s really not as simple as just applying bleach to your hair and BAM it’s lighter. NOPE. That’s not how it works. Everyone’s hair lifts different and has its own kind of undertone it will lift to. Some of us can go to platinum pretty quickly, but I could not. It was always an ALL day process for me. Be patient and don’t push your hair too far. It grows back, but do you really want to have to deal with bleach damaged hair? >> hair color! How to maintain it! << Color fades and it either looks cool or you need to get that touch up ASAP. wash your hair less frequently. Skip a few days and use dry shampoo. IGK - First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo use a color depositing shampoo/ conditioner! My favorite to use is Overtone. I have used the bright colors and the natural brown color from the brand. *WEAR GLOVES WHEN USING! Thank me later lol* OVERTONE - Magenta Coloring Conditioner OVERTONE - Coloring Conditioner try a gloss! It will add shine and color the outside of your hair strands. This will cover up greys as well. #dpHUE - Gloss+ Black[products]#[FiveStars] >> KEEPING YOUR HAIR HEALTHY!!<< It’s really all in the products you use and what heat you put on your hair. Invest in GOOD shampoo. My best recs: davines - Oi Shampoo This shampoo is great for ALL hair types. Adds shine, volume, nourishes and smooths hair. I religiously used this shampoo and conditioner. davines - Nourishing Vegetarian Miracle Conditioner SAVES MY HAIR EVERYTIME! this is an ultra repairing conditioner. It strengthens the hair and adds shine and softness. Basically gives your hair life again. R+Co - Atlantis Moisturizing Shampoo Super moisturizing shampoo with B5 in it! Instant hydration. This really helped my dry hair. This is especially great if you have a lot of heat damage. STOP WITH THE HEAT! let your hair air dry. Blow dryer can add so much more damage. use a scarf and braid your hair to get waves. Throw curlers in over night. simply limit your weekly heat use on your hair. don’t use the highest setting. Your hair doesn’t need 400 degrees to curl. USE HEAT PROTECTANT! make that hair style last honey! Use that dry shampoo instead of starting fresh the next day. use a spray conditioner! KRISTIN ESS - STYLE REVIVING Dry Conditioner Great for next day styling to add extra protection and hydration.

☀️7 Popular Makeup Myths Debunked! Swipe Right to Know
I'm obsessed with makeup and have been watching LOTS of beauty gurus' videos on Youtube providing numerous makeup tips and tricks. Having tried a lot, I found the majority of them are no more but eye-catching myths! 😭 To avoid you from wasting your time on these unhelpful tips, I've listed six common makeup misconceptions that I bet you have heard a million times below: Myth: Choose a foundation that matches your wrist Fact: Your skin color differs everywhere. Instead of matching your foundation to the wrist, look at your jawline. This is because your skin color differs everywhere, and your body shade normally can be darker than your face. Therefore, if the foundation color matches your jawline, then congrats! You get your best shade! Myth: Lip plumper can treat thin lips Fact: I know how crazy people are about increasing their lips now, but lip plumpers are not the key. Lip plumpers contain ingredients like hot pepper, cinnamon, menthol and caffeine, irritating your lips to create a swollen effect, but this effect can merely last for a short period of time. The only solution for thinner lips is lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid fillers, so don't expect lip plumpers can work as a permanent lip plumping treatment. Myth: Eyeshadow can't match your eye color Fact: While applying eyeshadow colors contrasting to your eye color can enhance your eyes, but matching hues can also create a gorgeous look. For instance, I have blue eyes, but I like to wear JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Blue Blood Eyeshadow Palette, which enhances my natural eye color and makes my overall makeup look more harmonic. Myth: Concealer goes before the foundation Fact: Fancy having a natural-looking makeup look? Then I recommend you to apply your foundation first, followed by a lightweight concealer such as NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer to hide the skin imperfections. Otherwise, you just end up smearing your makeup because of frequent rubbing. Myth: Throw away the mascara if it dries Fact: The longevity for mascara is usually 8 months. No kidding, just 8 months! After that, it will expire, and you should throw it right away, but if your mascara dries before that, you can fix it by adding a drop or two of baby oils to your mascara tube. Myth: Setting sprays for dry skin while setting powders for oily skin Fact: Although setting sprays are mostly hydrating and setting powders usually leave a matte finish, it doesn't mean that people with dry skin can only use hydrating facial sprays. There're hydrating setting powders to help, for example, BECCA - Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powderr, made with 50% water and glycerin, moisturizes your skin and leaving a dewy finish. Myth: Concealer should be lighter than foundation Fact: You should always carefully match your concealer to your skin tone, just like you do with your foundation. As for under-eye concealers, it's suggested to go for a concealer that's one to two shades lighter than your skin as you want to cover your dark circles. However, when it comes to your face, lighter concealers make your imperfections stand out especially if your skin has a pink or olive tone, go for a concealer that'll match up. Hope my sharings can stop people from being fooled by these makeup "tips" or "rules"! Which makeup "tip" that you found useless? Debunk it below!

Outdoor dining makeup ☀️🍔
So with all that’s going on, I’m sure a lot of us have only been able to do outdoor dining. Which means wearing a mask into the restaurant and removing it at your table. Obviously I want my skin to look good but also don’t want thick heavy makeup that’s going to rub off inside my mask. So this is what I’ve been using for a light makeup look. COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer This is the PERFECT no makeup makeup staple. The texture is light, the coverage is light. It makes me glow like a lil baby dumpling. The fact that it hydrates the skin rather than drying it is amazing for my dry skin. I enjoy the pump top and find it dispenses the perfect amount to use each time. I find it applies so well with finger tips or a sponge making it very versatile. If you like heavy coverage or super long lasting, this is not the product for you. But if you’re a less is more type of human, you’ll enjoy this. The shade range is also decently comprehensive too. As always Colourpop makes their products super affordable at $14 ($0.33/ml product) so it’s a winner for me. COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Concealer I enjoy this concealer on acne spots but I don’t love it quite like the tinted moisturizer. It is a bit thicker than the tinted moisturizer and enhances my dryness in some spots. I do like to use a tab or 2 under my eyes to brighten them up and cover dark circles but I honestly can do without this on most days. Biggest complaint though, is that the white print on it has totally rubbed off onto my hands. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color I don’t know what I can say about cloud paint that hasn’t been said already. It’s so buildable which makes it perfect for light makeup days. I take the smallest dab and use it on each cheek for just a tiny flush of color. There are quite a few shades but dusk is by far my favorite for a bronzey look! Then I just finish off with whatever mascara I have laying around and call it a day!
