makeup: help I’ve fallen & cant get up
“A luxurious cleansing balm that gently dissolved makeup and excess oil without stripping sensitive, irritated skin of the moisture it needs” performance | full star | ya girl is hella sensitive, and that is for sure what it do, luxurious though? Feel like I would have used a different word than that lolol not saying it’s cheap, just think maybe soothing or even simply “gentle” hahaha texture | full star | this is my favorite texture for a balm, just make sure to shake the bottle because the oils separate a lil scent | .75 star | def smells like seeet almond oil with oat, it’s nice but not my favorite. No synthetic fragrance in here packaging | .5 star | plastic tube, but I love the text on the tube especially on the back of every product they highlight which step it should be in your routine and I love that it’s a balm in a tub so I don’t have to put my grimy fingys in a jar if I don’t get enough ingredients | .3 star | there’s a decent number of alcohol based ingredients with a mild immunotoxicity risk from overexposure (mind you this could be to the worker inhaling these fumes and being around them often, not necessarily from topical application plus they’re toward the end of the ingredients list so lower percentage, not tryna scare anyone just sharing the facts) value | full star | only $10 scoreeee, and seriously don’t let the ingredients scare lol Total 4.55 out of 6 stars ✨

FULL Gentle Hydrating Skincare Routine
This has kind of been the theme of my entire Cherie page since its creation, but I’ve been needing to really hydrate my skin more since the weather’s become colder. Having rosacea means I always need to do extra research on the products I try. So after some experimenting, trying a LOT of new products, and deciding to stick to some old favorites, this is the routine I’ve come up with for myself: AM Routine Cleanser - The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm: A recent switch for the winter from Cosrx Good Morning Gel. I’ve never used a balm before and I have to say, I really like it. It does an excellent job of cleansing away any dirt or excess oils but leaves my skin feeling incredibly nourished. Toner - FAB Wild Oat Ultra Hydrating Toner: Another recent switch. This toner is so hydrating that I don’t need to use hydrating masks or overnight creams as frequently as I used to and it’s very calming. Serum - Peach & Lily’s Glass Skin Refining Serum: This is definitely worth the hype. My skin has been noticeably smooth since using it. Spot Treatment - TULA Go Away Acne: Uses benzoyl peroxide to work on acne which can interfere with rosacea, so I don’t use this on my cheeks but it works well in other areas. Not a repurchase for me. Eye Cream - Cetaphil Deep Hydration Refreshing Eye Serum: I said recently that eye cream doesn’t work for me, but I’m starting to get wrinkles under my eyes and thought it was important to kick up the hydration and attention. This one is quite gentle and pretty affordable. Moisturizer - CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion: Undefeated! If I need some extra hydration I’ll add a couple drops of Leo Oil and mix on my hand using my ring finger. Sunscreen - EltaMD SPF 46 on days with no makeup or ILIA Serum Skin Tint: Both are mineral sunscreens and unscented with protection in the 40s. PM Routine Cleanser - The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm: ...and I’ll double cleanse with my old Cosrx Good Morning Gel if I wore makeup that day. Toner - FAB Wild Oat Ultra Hydrating Toner Serum - Paula’s Choice CALM 1% BHA Lotion Exfoliant or 10% Azelaic Acid Booster: I like to alternate between these two serums. The BHA (salicylic acid) targets pores and redness. The Azelaic Acid Boost contains salicylic acid too, but is more effective at targeting rosacea specifically. Eye Cream - Veriphy 20/20 Eye Cream: Received this as a gift and I actually really like it! Contains ingredients like peptides, niacinamide, and cucumber extract. But it’s wildly expensive and I won’t be able to repurchase. Moisturizer - CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion + Astrologiens Leo Oil: At night I always combine these two if I’m not using my Naturium Sleeping Cream (2 pumps + 2 drops). I have individual reviews on a number of these products, so if you’re interested in learning more about something feel free to check those posts out or just ask a question here :) Most of these products are generally rosacea and sensitive skin safe. I have type 1 rosacea for reference.
Please Help !!
Hi ! I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is ? I’ve never really dealt with this before, the only time i get acne is the week before, the week of, and the week after I get my period, but this has not gone away at all. I haven’t done anything different with my usual routine, please let me know if there’s anything I should add or change. I have sensitive/dry skin. THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane *Please do not recommend Cerave Hydrating Cleanser or Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser, they both burned and irritated my skin.
my favorite gentle cleanser
FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser is a cult favorite for a reason: this cleanser is so gentle and hydrating despite being a foaming cleanser, due to ingredients like honey and hyaluronic acid. It smells very faintly of honey and foams easily without leaving my skin feeling stripped. The pump packaging has always worked well for me, and of course the branding (like all of Farmacy’s products) is beautiful. I reach for this if my skin is very dry or sensitive from ingredients like acids and tretinoin. I love this cleanser so much and I really want to try the new body wash, Bee Clean!

Review: Krave Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
👍👍👍This cleanser is super gentle and has one of the most unique textures I’ve ever used! It’s jelly and snot-like and you only need a pea sized amount because it is very slippery! It’s an awesome morning cleanser to get off any residue from nighttime, doesn’t leave skin tight or dry. 💰 $16.00- it’s priced just right! And easy to order online if you’re in the US 🗣 I will say this probably won’t be a good nighttime cleanser if you wear makeup, sunscreen or have very oily skin

REAL HYPE! ALWAYS DOUBLE CLEANSE!
Ever wash your face and still have left over makeup or dirt? YUP. I’m calling you out! YOU. NEED. TO. DOUBLE CLEANSE. 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞: If you wear any type of makeup or sunscreen, regular cleansers WILL NOT WORK alone to get your face entirely clean. A double cleanse system is *obviously* washing your face twice to ensure you get all traces of makeup and dirt completely gone. 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞: For double cleansing the best way to start is with a cleansing oil or cleansing balm. Oils and balms work to breakdown makeup and dirt. You will literally see your makeup dissolving into the oil or balm. You can just wash your face twice with your regular cleanser, but it won’t be as effective. You can also use a micelles water first and then cleanse, this is a great option too. ***Always use a cleansing oil or balm FIRST before your regular cleanser. It must be washed off with another cleanser or it may clog your pores.*** 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐦 FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm So you too have heard about GREEN CLEAN, but is it worth it? Don’t use too big of a scoop. + clean skincare $22 1.7 oz $34 100mL - there are other options at a more affordable price, but for a more high end brand, this is very worth it. BELIEVE THE HYPE. All the good things you see and hear about Green Clean are true.

Just Add Water 💦
How many of us have used makes wipes in the past or even now 🙋🏼♀️. I was completely unaware of how bad they can actually be for my skin. When I received my first makeup eraser it was actually this past Christmas in a gift set that my friend gave me. It was a tiny trial size on so I only really used it to take off my eye makeup and whatever I was wearing on my lips that day but boy was I amazed at what it took off. The brands mission was to create a sustainable makeup removing products using one of the worlds most sustainable resources: water. And they did just that! They have helped eliminate the use of wipes as 3600 wipes equal one makeup eraser! I don’t know about you but I think that’s wonderful. The benefits of the makeup eraser include: * Less waste * Lasts 3-5 years * Gently exfoliates your skin and lips * Great for sensitive skin * Machine washable They come in a variety of colors/patterns and even sell a pack of 7 so you have one for each day which is great. (The original size retailing for $20) They can easily be used in your cleansing routine when removing makeup but always follow up with a cleanser. How to use: * Use your makeup eraser in sections (I section mine into 3 so I can use it for 3 days) * Wet a section with water and watch as the makeup eraser wipes away your makeup * Remember to wash your makeup eraser 1-2 times a week to keep it clean and ready to use again (I throw mine in the washer with my towels)MakeUp Eraser - Chic Black MakeUp Eraser

🌿Matcha + Hemp for Glowy Skin✨
I am a FIEND for matcha, a complete matcha fanatic. I consume it in any form I can get my hands on— matcha lattes, matcha cookies, matcha candy, I do have a bit of an obsession. I’m also a big fan of eating hemp for its superfood characteristics such as protein, amino acids, and fatty acids. Eating these two ingredients never fails to make my body feel healthy and happy, so it’s no wonder that a CLEANSER featuring both has made my skin feel so wonderful. I’ve been obsessed with Krave Beauty and all of their products and this cleanser is one of my favorites from their entire line. I have combination skin that can get sensitive in the summer so it’s always important that my cleansers are gentle but effective. This cleanser is exactly that. It leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, and hydrated from the matcha and hemp rather than stripped. The ingredients are non-irritating and give my skin a much-needed glow. At this point I’m basically becoming a ball of matcha and hemp with how much of both I’m eating AND putting on my face now with this cleanser. It’s truly the best of both worlds. Definitely give this one a try if you haven’t already (and make yourself a yummy matcha latte while you’re at it too)! Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway balm
I started using this product a year ago after reading raving reviews about it! it is amazing at removing even the stubborn forms of makeup (aka Mascara ahem)! I never have to take a full scoop of the product. I take half a scoop and apply a little to each of my eyes, each side of my cheek and forehead and then gently rub in circular motions all over for about 10 seconds. When i wash my face after this, all my makeup is off and my skin doesn’t feel irritated at all (I have sensitive, acne prone skin). I don’t use heavy makeup everyday but when I do I don’t feel tired just imagining how hard makeup taking off is gonna be! I used to legit have that fear but now I’m so happy about not having one extra problem! If you’re looking to buy a cleansing balm, I’d definitely recommend this!
