Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid
I tried and loved caudalies VinoSource line so I was really excited to now try this ViniPure set! VinoPure cleanser- a nice basic cleanser. Removes makeup, doesn’t irritate my eyes and leaves my skin feeling very clean. VinoPure toner- a great step after the cleanser! It gives some moisture back into the skin after cleansing VinoPure skin perfecting serum- a little goes a long way. It wasn’t my favorite out of the bunch because it took a bit to try and was a little tacky on the skin VinoPure skin perfecting mattifying fluid- loved this as a priming step! Smooths out the appearance of skins surface

These are my October/November empties: SAND&SKY - Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask mini pink skys Australian clay mask. I really liked this sample, I found that my skin looked brighter and clearer after use, and it worked great on blemishes :) Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 also enjoyed using this sunscreen, I hate when spfs feel greasy and leave white casts, and this was clear and left my skin with a mattish finish. I would consider repurchasing, it’s just a bit pricey at $34 for 1.7oz. SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream I love this so much! It smells amazing and it’s super hydrating, I already have the bigger size 😍 VERSED - FOUND THE LIGHT Powder With VC I liked how easy this was to add to any product (I was adding a couple of shakes to my morning moisturizer), but ultimately I don’t think it did much for my skin so I wouldn’t repurchase. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner and CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser both were great minis, and they lasted me a while. They smell amazing, and did their job. I would consider purchasing the full sizes in the future. THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum - not really an empty but it expired and turned a weird color so it’s time to toss. I like it and have another one that I will probably open soon. SKIN&CO - Truffle Therapy Face Toner - I liked this toner, I know people aren’t big fans of witch hazel but I find it works well for my skin. I got it in a FFF box and it lasted a while, but It’s expensive and nothing too special so I won’t be repurchasing. COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch i liked these little patches, they’re affordable and do a great job of drawing out pimple gunk.
Sephora favorites samples worth it? 👀✨
When I saw this Sephora favorites bag, I really wanted to get it for the ren body serum and the caudalie gel cleanser. I debated if it was even worth it, I bit the bullet and got it. I’ve got to say these are worth it. It’s great that it includes a 15% off code for each item. The caudalie purifying gel cleanser is 1oz. The full size is $28 for 5oz so it comes out to $5.60 and oz. first time I tried it it felt really good on my face. Didn’t dry me out and if I end up loving it I’ll have to get the full size. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser Ren clean skincare body serum, this came in a great 1.7 oz. The full size is $42 for 6.8 oz. so it comes out to about $6 with some change. I’ve been using this for a couple days and it feels great on my skin. REN CLEAN SKINCARE - AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum Lancôme mascara. This is the mini 0.06oz. The full size is $25 for 0.33 oz, $13 for the 0.13 travel size so the mini 0.06 comes out to $6.50. Pretty nice mascara so far. It doesn’t clump up. LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Mascara Ouai hair oil. This came in the 0.33 mini size. The full size is $28 for 1.5 oz, $14 for 0.45 oz. This mini size I will assume it’s about $10-12. Just used this oil and it’s incredibly soft. The downside is the smell. It’s pretty heavy but it kinda smells like gardenia flowers to me. OUAI - OUAI Hair Oil Make up for ever ultra HD microfinishing loose powder. It’s in a tiny 1 g jar. The full size $36 for 8.5 g, $20 for 4 g travel size so the 1 g jar would be about $5. I’ve had this powder before and really likes it a lot. It’s super fine which I love. It sets my makeup well and hasn’t given me that many creases. MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder Versace perfume sample. In a very tiny spray. It’s 0.03 oz. The travel size in a spray is $30 for 0.3oz. So for 0.03 it would be about $3.75 I’ve had this in the travel size roller ball. Really nice perfume with flowery notes. I love the peony, lotus and magnolia scents. VERSACE - Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette This bag was definitely worth it to me. I ended up liking every single product. As in the price, I’d say it’s pretty good. Personally the value of the bag is more than the $10 I spent. This may definitely not be correct but this bag could have a value of about $37! The math could be way off but to me I really liked this. Have you tried or bought this bag, or are you not interested?
3 Good Products You Should Try!
My lovely friend sent me a bunch of skincare products a while ago. So I have a lot to write in the next few days. But let's start with these three! MUJI Moist Essence Lotion The aging care series focuses on anti-aging and is more moisturizing than its other series. It's most suitable for those 25 years old and above. It's gentle, non-pigmented, fragrance-free and mineral oil-free. However, it has a heavy texture, so it's not suitable for oily skin. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Purifying Toner Compared with Caudalie Grape Water, it has more active ingredients, and the spray design is very convenient. It contains rosemary leaf oil, so you'll see oil-water separation after it's left standing. Shake well before use. Its formula with peppermint essential oil can control oily skin, but it's a little irritating for sensitive skin. ESTĒE LAUDER - Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion It's smooth, runny, absorbed easily, and has a light scent. I used it when I was about to have an acne breakout and it soothed my redness and itching in just one day. It does a good job repairing the skin's natural barrier.
Cleansing Routine to Manage Acne
I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone. Finding a routine to manage my acne took almost eight years. My trouble spots are my cheeks, forehead and above my top lip. I’m pretty strict with my routine, because my skin is not fond of change. AM ROUTINE I like to keep my morning routine simple and light because too many products stress out my skin, feel heavy, cause breakouts and I end up sweating them off. I cleanse with CAUDALIE - Instant Foaming Cleanser . I love this cleanser because it uses clean ingredients that don’t over dry my face and it smells great! The only reason I knock off a star is because fragrance is included in the ingredients, which can irritate some folks. My face is pretty sensitive and I haven’t had any issues. To moisturize, I pat CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid on my face and neck (never forget your neck!). It works like magic! It dries clear, feels light and doesn’t leave you oily. I can literally feel the moisturizer eating up the excess oil on my skin. I love it. I definitely recommend this product for people with oily skin. Afterwards, I always always always SPF my face and neck. I’ve been using Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen and I love it’s consistency. It’s super light and leaves that dewey glow that everyone loves. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. If anyone has any dupe recommendations — let me know! PM ROUTINE I go HAM during my night routine to treat any trouble spots and damage. At night, I cleanse with DIFFERIN - Daily Deep Cleanser BPO 5% . The benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria and keeps my breakouts to a minimum. I follow it with DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel . This is the secret ingredient! If you try any of the products in this post, this is the one. It has really minimized my breakouts. Before using the treatment gel, there was never a day a didn’t have at least one bump. Afterwards, I use Glossier. - Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Serum to add some extra moisture to my skin overnight. I top it off with the moisturizer I use from my AM routine. ONCE A WEEK AM ROUTINE: 1-2x a week. I use Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector to exfoliate. Especially after shaving. This is my favorite after shave. It’s a great chemical exfoliator that leaves your skin glowing. Use it after cleansing and before moisturizing. PM ROUTINE: For extra support and as a spot treatment, I mix two drops of TRADER JOE'S - Spa 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil into a small cup of water. I use a cotton pad and pat the mixture on my trouble spots. It minimizes the redness and irritation overnight! I don’t have perfect skin, but I’m so much happier with the state it’s in. My skin is glowing and clear. I finally feel confident showing my face to the world.
This is the Vinopure Pore Perfecting Starter Kit which contains 🍃Vinopure Purifying Gel cleanser. I love gel cleansers. This one was so gentle and refreshing. It also didn’t dry my skin out which I look for in cleansers. 🍃Vinopure Purifying Toner. It has a watery consistency. I didn’t feel like it did anything to my skin. Wasn’t even hydrating. 🍃Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum. It gets easily absorbed. My skin feels quite tight after using it. I have almost used this mini size and I wouldn’t say I am a fan. 🍃Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid. This is my fav out of all. True to it’s name, it is a oil-controlling moisturizer. I have a combination; more so oily skin and it works great for me. All of these have a similar minty scent which is too strong for me. Overall, I have 2 products I liked and 2 that I didn’t. I love trying out minis for this reason! CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid

s a m p l e REVIEW 🖤
So tonight I tried out the CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum that I received from Sephora, and I *think* I like it? The texture is a clear gel formula, very silky and glides right onto your skin. As it dried it began to feel a bit tacky, but once fully dry it made my skin feel a bit tight but not unbearably tight. My skin was also very soft. The only con I had was that it very very faintly smelled like some good ole mary jane to me 🤣🤷♀️ I still have more and I'm excited to try it out again! Thoughts on this serum? Riss 🌛🖤
Late October Haul 🎃
This month I decided to treat myself to a little haul! The above products were purchased from Sephora and Amazon. Some of these products I’ve had my eye on for months, while others I compulsively bought! On the second slide are all of the sample products that were kindly supplied by Sephora 🙂 Sephora: PAT McGRATH LABS - Eye Ecstasy Duo: I bough these pallets out of compulsion. I only own one pallet which is the URBAN DECAY - Naked Ultimate Basics Eyeshadow Palette. I really want to start incorporating makeup into my feed, so I went on the hunt for a new pallet. I was able to get both of these pallets for $14 each instead of $28 each. That’s a steal for me! I cannot wait to dip into the Sublime pallet! DRUNK ELEPHANT - E-Rase Milki Micellar Water: Getting back into makeup I knew I needed a makeup remover. Just about everyone I know uses Micellar Water no matter what brand. I decided to go with the Drunk Elephant because I have seen so many product reviews with mixed emotions, so I wanted to try this brand out for myself! Kate Somerville - EradiKate Acne Treatment: This is another product I’ve had my eye on for months! I have seen many reviews of this product and so far everyone has loved it. I can’t wait to give this product a shot tonight after a much needed shower! Review for this product to come very soon! Not pictured: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Makeup Match Highlight Brush Samples: LANCÔME - Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover Dr Dennis Gross - Dr Dennis Gross Extra Strength Alpha Beta Peel Original belif - The True Cream Aqua Bomb IGK - First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Tatoo Liner in Trooper Deluxe Sample laura mercier - Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum GUCCI - Free Bloom Eau de Parfum Deluxe Sample Amazon: StriVectin - Daily Reveal Exfoliating Pads: I saw that StriVectin just recent came out with these. I was quick to purchase these because I have been looking for a product that I can carry with me at all times and quickly use during the day when my face is super oily while I’m out and about! I was originally using the OXY - Acne Medication Deep Pore Cleansing Pads, but the ingredients aren’t great for the skin at all! So I am super hyped to find a much more healthier alternative! Rael - Miracle Ratch: I originally found these on Instagram. I have been on the market for acne patches for sometime. My local target didn’t have any in stock, so I took to the internet. When I found these I looked up reviews, and every single one was positive. I cannot wait to try these!
It’s time for a review on the jkosmmune products that I have been using for the past 4 weeks. Long story short... I’m really impressed and loving this line! The main ingredient that sets them apart is beta glucan. It is said to be more hydrating than hyaluronic acid, so from the start I was here for it. When I did a little more research I discovered it’s main purpose is actually to help soothe redness and that is something I always look for and have been impressed with after using their products! Their products are also cruelty free, vegan friendly, fragrance free, and gluten free. Free of parabens, ethanol, mineral oil, silicon, talc, benzophenone, paraffin, and phenoxyethenal. ◾️The cleanser: I am obsessed with the fact that the enzyme powder cleanser comes in individual single use packets. Talk about travel friendly. When you add water and mix in your hands the powder suds up and goes on the skin smoothly. They recommend to let it sit for 20 seconds but sometimes I do a little longer. When I rinse my skin feels so clean and soft! It’s 99.9% beta glucan and papaya-derived enzyme. ◾️The toner: As anyone who follows me knows, I’ve been obsessed with the indie lee toner and how hydrating it is. This toner is in direct competition! I’ll never get rid of my Indie Lee, but I will definitely be purchasing the jksommune one and will have both in my routine! I love using them in the morning for extra hydration on my dry skin. It’s alcohol free and feels nourishing and hydrating! ◾️The serum: I have really been enjoying this serum so far. I have very dry skin with fine lines and this serum is very hydrating and makes my skin feel plump and supple. I’m excited to keep using it and see long term results! ◾️The lotion: I will admit this one I’ve used the least amount because I totally neglect my body (really planning to work on that), but the ingredients sound great and my dry skin needs hydration so I’m excited to use this more! I haven’t used it on my face yet but curious to see how it will work! I have so many moisturizers and to be honest didn’t realize this could be used on the face!
ESK SKINCARE: BRAND REVIEW!
We all have those products we love but can’t afford to buy them all of the time because they are so expensive! ESK products yield amazing results but the price tag OMG! These are my “treat-yo-self” skincare products. I have hyperpigmentation so I like their “pigmented” kit. All of their products have anti-aging properties but this kit also helps target pigmentation and age spots. It comes in 2 sizes travel size, which is pictured, that lasts 3-4 weeks ($154)and full sized which lasts 3-4 months ($310). These are the prices before shipping! The travel sized kit ends up being $234 to ship to NY. If you like a particular product you are able to buy them individually just the but if you’re buying multiple it makes more sense to buy the kits. Each kit comes with 4-6 products. Each product in the travel sized kit is about .5 ounces and the full sized products are about 1.76 ounces. Calming Cleanse(0): this cleansing lotion is made with aloe and natural oils that help to cleanse and soothe your skin. This was a gift that came with my kit. It doesn’t do much for me. It does soften my skin but i feel like the rest of their products also have that effect this is the only product from them I could probably live without Hydroxy Cleanser (1): this is a clear liquid cleanser that lathers when you rub it in. It is an active exfoliant and really does reduce the appearance of my pores. It is super gentle on my skin. Reverse “C” Serum (2): this is an oil based serum that warms your skin when you rub it in. It is full of vitamin C to help with the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles and fine lines. If you have oily skin they have a liter version of this product that won’t make your skin look greasy. This one is more for people with normal to dry skin. It gives your skin a dewy glow Zinc Shade (3): this is a moisturizer made with zinc. It has SPF15 to help protect your skin from sun damage (aging and irritation). It hydrates my skin without making me look too oily Enlighten (L): i love this product. It is a peach colored lotion that makes my skin look brighter and helps to even out my skin tone. It really speeds up the fading of my scars. Like in the first week you notice a difference! Smooth Serum (4): this is an active exfoliant that helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin making it look brighter. It is a clear liquid that absorbs quickly into your skin and doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky. Ultimate A: this is a yellow colored cream packed with vitamins A and B. It helps smooth out texture and tone skin Since I’ve been using all of these products I’ve seen a difference in the appearance of my pores, my skin doesn’t have any more dry patches, my skin looks brighter and my dark spots have faded. All of the products are super gentle on the skin. Unfortunately due to the price I don’t purchase as much as I’d like.
Fresh af Morning Routine ☀️
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser great for all skin types as it cleans without stripping. CAUDALIE - Grape Water great refreshing water filled with a great antioxidant, resveratrol which is anti-aging as well. Perfect before makeup, after makeup, during the day or as a refresher💁🏼♀️ THAYERS - Cucumber Facial Mist mine doesn’t have a mister, but this product is awesome and does not irritate at all. I even use it on my eyes and there’s zero stinging. Leaves your skin prepared for your other skin caring steps. Goos to use as a cleanser before makeup when your feeling lazy 😅 FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry Good serum, not bothersome, could be a bit tingly when you start using it if you’re sensitive. Skin looks brighter but it’s definitely a slower worker than other vitamin C’s. I would say the serumy consistency and other soothing ingredients make it a recommendation from me to my sensitive skin peers out there. (MALIN+GOETZ) - Revitalizing eye gel Definitely a gel but it’s almost a cream gel hybrid. My undereyes are really dry and this product really hydrates them and serves as an undereye primer as well without feeling like a grease ball. Definitely recommend if you’re undereyes are dry and need some hydration (*not moisturizing just hydration*) Curél - Moisture Facial Milk Great day time moisturizer especially for summer time and for those who have dry/normal to oily skin. Not those it only protect your skin barrier with it’s ceramide filled formula but it softens and hydrates, keeping skin smooth and supple. Tip: if you want more hydration or glow just add some drops of any oil you have or mix it with another moisturizer that might be to heavy on it’s own and voila, you got yourself a summer time moisturizer ✨👌🏻 L'ORÉAL - Pure-clay Cleansing Mask for Dull Skin definitely brightens and pulls gunk out from the skin, the only downside would be that it is pretty drying but when you’re skin feels really congested and gross I definitely recommend this. Tip: use as spot treatment to suck out the inflammation and gunk from the pimples. Hope as always that you found my reviews useful and my video informative any questions feel free to always ask🧡 Ps. I used Good Molecules Niacinamide before applying the Vit C. Sorry it wasn’t recording😫
THAYERS-Cucumber Facial Mist
Boujiee skincare nights✨
Well this was recorded before I gave my final verdict on May Lindstrom’s Blue Cocoon, so at this time it was still on my trial period; I have a full dedicated review to it, if you want more info please read it🙏🏼😌 Let’s start reviewing: ARCONA - Night Worker I just wish it was a true serum. Other than that it smells nice, like peaches or apricot; it’s mostly clean and has really good sourced ingredients; made in the USA; it’s a smaller company and they produce products freshly. The consistency is like a cream so if you have dry skin/normal or combo/dry, this will work greatly for you as it doesn’t irritate at all. Also the Vitamin C is stable as the container is completely opaque and has a pump which is also great. Definitely see some brightening action and smoothing of the fine lines in my forehead. SkinMedica - Retinol Complex 1.0 It is really gentle for being a 1%, I assume it’s due to it being encapsulated retinol, which means it gets released slowly and not all at once. Definitely no irritation even when I use my DE glycolic serum/gel and followed it with this. I just wished, again, that the consistency was more thin. Other than that great formula and packaging keeps everything stable as well. facetheory - PoreBright Serum N10 I feel like it has definitely help with my acne, as I started breaking out due to hormonal imbalances and this helped greatly. I do however like the Good molecules Niacinamide as it’s cheaper and has zero stickiness to it and absorbs quicker. I am mixing this with my Chanel Le Blanc lotion and that helps this product sink in way faster as well as to not have that sticky feeling. facetheory - Regena C20 Serum I have to further keep using it, but right now it has given me zero irritation, has great ingredients and other brighteners besides vit C and sinks right in. may lindstrom skin - The Blue Cocoon Please read my review on this. BURT’S BEES - Rosewater Toner Love it, great for texture! Wish it had less alcohol. Chanel Le Blanc Lotion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As usual, 5 stars, I have reviewed it multiple times and just can’t get over what a great product it is. Aesop - Gentle Facial Cleansing Milk It’s okay. Nothing exorbitant. I would say it’s good if you have really dry skin or for the winter months. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Smoothing Gel Exfoliator 150ml Smells great, leaves my skin soft as a baby’s behind, really small exfoliating beads, none irritating, good price, lasts a long time and doubles as cleanser after taking your makeup off, of course. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask For now I give it 4 stars as I need to use it for a longer period of time. Good thing’s about it: doesn’t irritate or make my eyes water, hydrates and smoothens. Wish it wasn’t in a jar.
GLOW RECIPE-Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask
redearth 💎Deep Dive Water Cream ($25 for full size) - Hydragel, collagen. I loved the fast-absorbing, cooling gel texture. The tactile sensation was a true delight. While this is far too light for dry skin in the winter, I enjoyed it as a layer underneath a cream moisturizer and can imagine using it in the future as a summer face quencher. 🌿Hydrate Refreshing Cleanser ($20) - Squalane, Shea butter, Tasmanian Sea kelp. This is a milky cleanser that feels like a thick cream. It should definitely be used as the second step of a cleansing routine if one wears makeup, because, like other milky cleansers, I did not feel like it broke down my eye makeup or foundation. There wasn’t anything wrong with the product, but it did not suit my needs. Non-makeup wearers with dry skin who desire hydrating nourishment may benefit from this cleanser. 💧Deep Dive Thirst Quenching Water Essence ($19 for full size) - Hyaluronic acid. And that’s about it. If you really want a layer of hyaluronic acid for moisture, The Ordinary sells a cheaper version ($6.80) that feels the same. 🤔VERDICT: The gel texture of the Deep Dive Water Cream is delightful. However, I’m not sure that it’s enough for me to switch from my kbeauty favorites that have more proven ingredients like ceramides. While the other two products were not for me, I hope that my review can help you decide if these would work for you.
FRESH BEAUTY The Soy Face Cleanser is a staple ! It’s easy to see why the Soy Cleanser has been around for so long. It gently cleanses the skin and is made for all skin types. The Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence is a true essence in the sense that it is thicker than water and quickly absorbs. As much as I love kombucha— I was happy to find out that this essence doesn’t have a kombucha smell! .
