Products for pores!
🐰My skin type/concerns- I have very dry skin in the winter and a normal skin type during the summer! Occasionally I will get bad acne throughout the year, I also have bad redness and hyperpigmentation, and pores! 🐰this review is for products I have tried to minimize my pores! ✅worked ❌didn’t work 🐭Product list: ✅Belif Aqua bomb moisturizer- I discovered this moisturizer about 8 months ago and fell in love! I love using this moisturizer morning and night, it is amazing at minimizing the look of my pores! I see a huge difference from before and after I use this! It’s amazing ingredients is everything that helps with my pores! ✅drunk elephant t.l.c serum- I discovered this serum from a friend recommending this to me after trying it and telling me how much it helped minimize her pores! I have been using this for about 6 months! I always use this at night because I know when I wake up my pores look super reduced and my skin is very soothed for when I start the day! I always use this right before applying eye cream and moisturizer! This serum is very lightweight and gives me the perfect hydration my skin needs, and is amazing with minimizing my pores overnight! ✅Glow recipes watermelon sleeping mask- I saw this all over social media when it came out, and when I saw some reviews for it I knew it would be perfect for my skin and I immediately bought it! I have been using this for about 6 months! I also only use this at night and whenever I use it before bed I see the biggest difference in my pores when I wake up! I use this right after I cleanse my face! The very thick consistency of this is super helpful before going to bed because I know I will wake up with super moisturized skin! ❌tatcha water cream- I found this moisturizer from a family member recommending it to me, and saying how much it helped with her pores! I saw the pricy price tag but I still went for it! I used it for a couple months of the summer, and it was perfect for my summer skin type! But when winter came around this was not giving my skin the hydration it needs, and I learned this is more for oily type skin! This didn’t change the look of my pores at all, I saw no difference when I used this at night and when I would wake up nothing changed! I used this as one of the last products in my routine!GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask

Is this $125 Detox Night Cream Worth It?
Hey Cherie Fam 🍒 I have been doing makeup looks and raving about my recent make up purchases lately. I thought it’s time to give the skin care products I’ve been loving lately some attention. You know that you can’t have great makeup unless you have great a great makeup base aka having a great skin care routine. I received Grown Alchemist Detox Night Cream on my November premium box from Boxycharm. I have a somewhat strict skin care routine and I am skeptical introducing a new product to my routine. I researched this brand thoroughly and read hundreds of reviews online. I also examined the ingredient list. Grown Alchemist is founded by brothers who discovered ground breaking research that proved the continuous use of natural ingredients. They developed formulas with a unique synergy between biology and cosmetic chemistry. Their headquarters are located in Melbourne, Australia. (Source: website) The detox night cream is described as a detoxifying cream formulated with peptide-3, echinacea vitamins, hyaluronic acid and essential omega fatty acids such as reishi extract. This product claims to regenerate the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles resulting in radiant and youthful looking skin. This product retails for $125 USD for 40ml. #Grown Alchemist - Detox Night Cream[products]# I actually really like this product. I use it with my DE framboos and The Ordinary virgin marula oil at night. I noticed my skin is a lot more glowy and I have less pores and brighter skin when I wake up in the morning. It has a thick consistency, but doesn’t feel heavy and has a scent similar to roses. I am actually not a fan of the smell because I prefer no fragrance. I think this is the perfect night cream especially during the winter months. However, I will not be repurchasing when I run out. While I am a fan of this product and think it works well, I don’t think it’s worth $125 for a 40ml. There are cheaper alternatives in the market with the same ingredients. If money isn’t an issue to you, then I say go for it! I saw a huge difference within a week. It’s just not in my budget unfortunately. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum The Ordinary - 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil Conclusion: Great product and I saw a difference within a week, but it’s too pricy and will not re-purchase because there are alternative brands in the market with the same ingredients for a fraction of the price. Xoxo, Francesca 💋
Top 2020 Products
2020 was the year I officially got into skincare. These three skincare products that dramatically changed my skin for the better, and for that, I rate them my best products for 2020. 1. HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion : This milky essence contains 5 kinds of HA of different molecular weights along with nourishing algae extracts. The results? Incredibly plump, soft skin. Not only is this essence great for harsh winters that compromise the barrier, but it’s great for summer when skin dehydrated and producing more oil than usual. You can’t beat the price at 15.99!! 2. THE inkey LIST - Kaolin Clay Mask : A kaolin mask that effectively absorbs excess oil AND has nourishing plant extracts so it doesn’t dry out your skin. For only 6.99!! 3. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum : It’s no secret that I am a huge Drunk Elephant fan. Yet out of all of their products, this is the one that to me is worth the hefty price tag of $90 for an ounce. This gel-based serum is a chemical exfoliator that contains 12% AHA and 2% BHA. It’s incredibly gentle yet super powerful as it zaps dry spots, uneven texture, whiteheads, blackheads, and major breakouts. It is the perfect spot treatment for any breakout. The immediate second I experience a breakout, I put this on and the next day my breakout is either completely done or dramatically reduced in size. While I would like to try cheaper exfoliators, this one is golden for me. What are your top 2020 products? My worst products of 2020 coming tomorrow!!

Believe in belif 😍💙
🛍 I got this set complementary 💙Moisturizer: - I extremely love this item. I got an example of this item, and I plan to go out and buy it. This cream has a truly extraordinary smell. -This item is so saturating. I love that it is a gel rather than a cream, it truly sinks into my skin. I really put the container in my cooler, and it feels inconceivable all over when it's somewhat chilled. -The texture feels very luxurious (it is a thicker cream) and it absorbs into my skin quite nicely without leaving a sticky residue (a little goes a long way, so I can see myself stretching out this product) 👁Eye cream: -It feels calming, and like an invigorating hydration for your under eye zone - the hydration keeps going throughout the day, and I'm glad that I purchased this. I have just been utilizing it for a couple of days and have seen an improvement in my overly dull under eye circles. -This saturating eye bomb has become my new most loved daytime expansion to my skincare schedule. It's the exact opposite thing I apply before the beginning of my day. I LOVE the wonderful way lightweight it feels, how rapidly it assimilates, and its invigorating, clean aroma. I've been raving about it so much, that I've even gotten my beau to succumb to the pattern. I feel like this item truly takes out my dark circles and makes my eyes look more invigorated and hydrated. Serum -This is an extremely lightweight equation that dries down rapidly and sinks into the skin, leaving no follow. It has a slight home grown smell, not terrible but rather not aroma like by the same token. I completely appreciate utilizing this both day and night, as it sinks down into the skin and doesn't influence anything I layer on after it. -Apply any remaining layers of your healthy skin like regular, holding up at any rate 30 seconds between each progression. I genuinely think this will a staple in my Medicine bureau until the end of time! ✅ The Good: - Has a stunning gel surface - A little truly goes far, which I was extremely intrigued by - An extraordinary summer lotion for combo skin - SCENTED, yet didn't aggravate my skin. The aroma wasn't over controlling either, has a decent new fragrance to it. In case you're going for totally unscented, this may not be it. ❌ The Bad - Alcohol Denat is the THIRD fixing. This is a drying liquor, which gives items a brisk drying finish. It's not extraordinary for the skin boundary, and a few examinations have proposed that the drawn out utilization of drying liquor in skincare will exceed any prompt advantages. Brand Spotlight: BLISS
Bliss is one of my favorite affordable drugstore clean and cruelty free brand. They are easily accessible, you find them at: Ulta, CVS, Target and Bliss.com, etc. I can’t help but love everything that I’ve tried from them. Here are current favorites and must haves: Left to right: bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum A mixture between toner and serum this is an awesome toner that is alcohol free, vegan, and packed with skin calming and pore refining ingredients : BHA, niacinamide, zinc and cica. bliss - Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Moisturizer My day/ night cream depending on my mood and what serums I’m using. Sinks in the skin well and has great texture. bliss - Drench & Quench Moisturizer This is comparable to TATCHA - The Water Cream very lightweight but pack a lot of moisture. It leaves my skin feeling a bit tacky which I love as a base before my primer and make up. bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Moisturizer All times favorite basic moisturizer for day and night. I usually use this when either my skin has a break out and I have to go back to basics or when I’m using retinol or some other harsh serums. bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum If you are new to glycolic acids or AHAs this is a great beginner’s choice. For me I thought this quite a gentle formula... I didn’t feel any discomfort or irritation. bliss - Fabulips Lip Scrub This is my first lip scrub... so I don’t know if it’s good or not. It’s not bad. It’s moisturizing, exfoliating and didn’t taste bad. 😋 Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan Have you tried any of their product? Review on this baby
TATCHA - The Water Cream I got this sample from Sephora using my points. It has been laying around for a while, and I finally decided to give it a try a couple of weeks ago! I swear by my Lancôme creams, but I wanted to see what this hype is all about. - It feels lighter than my Lancôme facial cream. A little bit spreads so easily like water all over my face and neck. It has a nice scent to it. I thought it smelled like Eucalyptus oil, but it has Japanese wild rose and Japanese Leopard Lily. I have combination skin- I am only trying this during the day time, as it’s not creamy enough for night time use in Chicago cool weather. - The foundation spread very easily and looked flawless. At the end of the day- my face felt a little less shiny and less moisturized as opposed to my Lancôme cream. -Japanese Wild Rose is supposed to improve the look of pores. I do have some on my cheeks- but I didn’t really notice much difference. Most importantly! It did not break me out at all!! - So far, I still prefer Lancôme, but I can see this as a nice and less expansive alternative option in the summer. ❤️ Lancôme cream feels thicker and is more moisturizing- especially now with the cool weather! With this- I would have to wear a sunscreen. I have yet to find a sunscreen that does not break me out.

Cherie Made Me But It! 🍒 ✨🍉
Hi Cherie Fam 🍒 I came across @Mallory‘s post regarding the avocado sleeping eye mask 🥑 and the niacinamide watermelon drops 🍉. I was intrigued so I did some research and ended up ordering the make your own kit. It comes with 4 sample size items and a bag for $29. I thought I would try to sample the product first and see how it works on my skin before committing to a full size products. I got the •GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser I heard this cleanser is great for removing make up. I read the ingredient list and I am sold. I can never say no to a gentle cleanser • GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer I am looking for a new day time moisturizer and this seems perfect. This smells so good. It has a thin consistency and feels cool on the skin •GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask I HAD to get this. Dark circles and hollow under eyes are a problem. It’s generic and I love how this contains retinol Glow recipe also included lots of sample items. I didn’t pick up the niacinamide drops because I still have lots from Paula’s choice. However, I am excited to try it and glad I got a sample I will post a review in a month or so and let you all know how it worked out. Xoxo, Francesca 💋
I finished all of them in 2020!
I never thought I would have the patience to finish all those wash off masks as they are not used daily. I really want to recommend GLAMGLOW - SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment Mask and FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask for the effectiveness and sensation. Isn’t that what’s all about when choosing skin care products?
Products for dry skin!
🏝My skin type/concerns- I have very dry skin in the winter and a normal skin type during the summer! Occasionally I will get bad acne throughout the year, I also have bad redness and hyperpigmentation! 🏝this review is for products I have tried to resolve dry skin! ✅worked ❌didn’t work 🏝Product list: ✅drunk elephant b hydra- I discovered this product last May when I received the drunk elephant littles set for my birthday! I have been using this for almost a year now! I never use this serum alone! I pick out my regular serum or oil that I’m using that day and I mix this in with anything I chose to use! I never use any serum or oil without mixing this in because it gives me an amazing extra boost of hydration! ✅Fresh night cream- I discovered this moisturizer from a friend recommending this to me after trying it and telling me how much it helped her dry skin! I have been using this for about a year and a half! I always use this at night because I know when I wake up this leaves my skin super moisturized and very soothed for when I start the day! This cream is so thick but still lightweight that it gives me the perfect hydration my skin needs, and it doesn’t just soak into your skin right away! ✅Laneige cream skin toner- I saw this all over social media when it came out, and when I saw some reviews for it I knew it would be perfect for my skin and I immediately bought it! I have been using this for about 6 months! I also only use this at night and whenever I use it I don’t use a serum or oil as well! I just use this because it gives my skin extra hydration that it would be to much to use all of the other products! I always use it right before applying moisturizer! The very thick consistency of this is super helpful before going to bed because I know I will wake up with super moisturized skin! ❌Glow recipe watermelon moisturizer- I discovered this moisturizer just from browsing the Sephora website when I came across this and I love anything watermelon, and it claimed to be a solution for dry skin! I have been using this for about 9 months! I only used this moisturizer in the morning because of its also brightening properties, the first time I used this I noticed it soaked into my skin super fast but so I started to wonder if this was right for me! I used it a few more times and I realized it wasn’t giving my skin the hydration it needed, my skin would start to have dry spots on my face during the day after I used this! I don’t recommend this product for people with really dry skin!GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum LANEIGE - Cream Skin Refiner fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer

🚨Warning, unpopular opinion ahead🚨
I’d rather get coal than this Jolly Rancher scented nonsense AKA Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer. This moisturizer is said to brighten and bring that glow we are all longing for to the skin with watermelon extract, Hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants. It’s also supposed to help with fine lines, redness, and reduction of dark spots. Nope 👎🏼 in my humble opinion it does none of these things. To me, it is a glorified serum that makes your face smell nice. I gave it one star for the scent because it is really nice. There are way better lightweight moisturizers out there that actually perform well and hydrate the skin way more effectively than this and for $39 for 2oz you can do better. The texture is lightweight and does absorb quickly. However, it absorbs so quickly it feels like it’s not doing much. No results=not worth it’s for me I would not repurchase and I do not understand the hype 🤷🏻♀️👎🏼 GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer

Must Have Skincare for Sensitive Skin
So I am declaring myself the queen of sensitive skin. I have had sensitive skin my whole life and I feel like it’s only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older because I also have rosacea and then there’s also the fact that...I’m getting older (😭😭😭). I have a lot of dryness and redness in my cheeks, around my nose, and some around my chin which is mostly related to hormones and all that fun stuff. I do also get hormonal breakouts and am just starting to get some minor fine lines. As I’ve learned more about skincare and tried many (so many) products over the years, these are some that have become staples for me! I try to be really careful with how often I add new products and make sure I fully read the ingredients to know if they’ll be good for my sensitive skin. • a good basic moisturizer (ideally containing ceramides) will go a long way; I mean basic in the sense that it doesn’t do a lot other than focus on hydrating + protecting your skin. I love the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Cream • serums, serums, serums! They’re such a great way to add concentrated ingredients to your routine and boost all that goodness into your skin. I’ve been loving the Corpa Flora - Antidote HB5 Hydration and the 03 Redness Relief by the same brand - such a great duo for hydrating and soothing! • hyaluronic acid (like this one by Allies of Skin) is SO good for sensitive skin and adds a boost hydration back into your skin’s barrier Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum • vitamin c is literally amazing for everyone but if you have sensitive skin just be careful with the concentration + additives! This one is amaaazing SKINCEUTICALS - Serum 10 Aox+ and does such a great job of brightening + clearing my skin. • masks targeted to soothing, gently exfoliating, calming, etc. A couple of my favourites lately are the SKINCEUTICALS - PHYTO CORRECTIVE MASK Calming Face Mask For Blotchy Skin (tip - keep this one in the fridge, it feels SO GOOD) and the insta natural - Exfoliating Glycolic Mask - they’ve both made a big difference in my skin. • face mists are a must for me to keep my skin hydrated + refreshed! I find rose water mists are super soothing for my sensitive skin. What are your go-to products for sensitive skin?! #CheriePartner

Oily Skin Glow Up ✨
I know usually when you have oily skin the last thing you want to do is have a glowy complexion. Usually it’s matte everything. Mayttifying Toner. Matte primer. Matte foundation. But there are the occasional times I like a little bit of glow to my skincare. I believe there is a line between oily and glowing and you can achieve it with the right products. I, personally, have oily acne prone skin. When I want a little bit more of a glow I go with this routine: 1.) Cleanse - GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Cleansing Gel Gel cleansers are amazing for oily skin! You’re going to get the deep cleanse you need without stripping your skin. I like the fact this one has vitamin C included which is going to help give your skin a boost to brighten a dull complexion. 2.) Treat - Murad - Vitamin C Glycolic Brightening Serum As much as I like the cleanser including vitamin C you’re going to get the most benefits out of a leave on treatment. This treatment pairs vitamin C with glycolic acid to give you a brighter, healthier looking complexion. The glycolic acid (which is great for oily skin!) is a chemical exfoliator that buffs away the dull dead skin cells to enhance the delivery of the vitamin C. It also has a little bit of a shimmer to the product which gives you a beautiful lit from within glow. It absorbs easily and feels really lightweight so oily skin isn’t bogged down all day like it can with other “glowy” products. 3.) Moisturize - GLAMGLOW - Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow (travel size) Now if I really want to have a glow I pull this out. You can really replace this with any gel moisturizer you have but this one does have a bit of nude shimmer in it that will help contribute to your glow up! It’s a very light weight gel consistency and a little goes a long way. 4.) Sunscreen - KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 If you’re exfoliating or using vitamin C you HAVE to wear sunscreen. No ifs, ands, or buts. You have to. Those products, as beneficial as they are, make your skin a lot more photosensitive to the sun. 90% of aging comes from UVA/UVB rays so we need to help prevent this as much as possible. The Kinship sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen that is reef safe and designed for acne prone skin. This sunscreen has a little bit of a peach, glowy tint that rubs into the skin transparent but with a little bit of a glow. It highlights turmeric which soothes the skin (which you’ll need if you’re exfoliating) as well as strengthens and protects damaged skin. It also has kinbiome which will help strengthen your skin barrier. I received the Georgette Klinger as a gift the beginning of the month and I’ve been using it ever since. The Murad and Kinship I received in the 5th edition of the Trendmood box and they became immediate favorites. I’ve had a few Glamglow travel samples for quite a few years now.
