The Boscia cactus water moisturizer is an ultra light weight fast absorbing moisturizer that gives thirsty skin a sip of instant hydration for a soft, smooth, and simple complexion! It can be solutions for dryness, dullness, uneven texture, and loss of firmness and elasticity. The texture of this is a refreshing thick gel that feels so cooling on your face. I have used this for about 10 months and really like it in the summer time because after being in the sun it feels so refreshing to put this on after. I got it in a set with two other boscia items that I also love! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and gave me awesome results with my dry skin! I would recommend this to all skin types and to try out definitely in the summer for the really nice cooling effect! It is worth the $38 for 1.61oz of product that will last a while! The Kiehls calendula serum infused water cream is a weightless water cream infused with concentrated calendula serum! It can be solutions for dryness, dullness, and uneven texture! It is best for normal to oily skin types. The texture of this is a lightweight gel-cream, that feels like a drink of water on your face! I absolutely love this cream but is definitely geared toward oily skin types! I received it as a promo code on Sephora about 5 months ago and it is amazing! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and I didn’t see big results because my skin is on the dryer side and this is geared more for oily skin types! I would recommend this to others because it does have an amazing texture and feeling on the face it also smells so fresh. It is worth the $50 for 1.7oz for people with oily skin! The tatcha water cream is recommended for oily, normal to oily, pores, and anti-aging!! It is an oil-free , anti-aging water cream that releases a burst of skin-improving Japanese nutrients, powerful botanicals and optimal hydration for pure, poreless skin! It works because it is a unique water-burst cream breaks upon application to deeply deliver treatment benefits, hydrating without leaving skin sticky or greasy. It’s powerful ingredient, Japanese Wild Rose, visibly tightens pores and smoothes skin texture!! Also it is, Non-comedogenic, Non-irritating, Non-sensitizing, Dermatologist tested, and Cruelty-free! Additionally, formulated without, Mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, and phthalates!! I love this because it is great for the summer since it does not leave my skin oily or greasy! It is a bit pricey but if you have had issues with pores or any other of its benefits I think it is worth it! It is $68 for 1.7 ounces. It also smells very good and the texture feels very cool to the touch! I think it is worth it, the tatcha water cream is amazing and is so worth the price, they have amazing ingredients and antioxidant properties, and they are always right on there claims! The Boscia is also pretty good and is at a great price point to! That is my second favorite by far! The Kiehls is definitely not worth $50 at all! It is no where near as good as tatcha! It makes my skin feel oily and greasy and just doesn’t do anything good for my dry skin! But the Boscia is an amazing affordable option of the tatcha water cream! boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer

Battle of the water creams
As an oily person, I am forever looking for moisturizers that will mitigate my skin’s desire to leave me looking like a greased chicken within an hour of putting makeup. The key to reducing my skin’s predilection to overproduce is to feed it with moisture with my morning routine. The healthier my skin is the easier my acne scars will fade and hopefully be just a distant memory. That led me to purchasing a belif skin care set mid-2019. In the set was the belif - Aqua bomb , belif - Eye Bomb gwpand belif - Hungarian Water Essence. Let’s focus on the Aqua Bomb for now and compare it to a new frenemy later. 💦 belif - Aqua bomb is a lightweight, gel moisturizer that is supposed to hydrate your skin without feel heavy. It has three main ingredients: lady’s mantle to nurture your skin, ceramide 3 to help your skin retain water and glycerin to maintain moisture levels. It comes in three sizes, costing from $22 to $62. (The 1.68 oz./50mL tends to be the one that is included in kits. It costs $38 sold separately.) MY THOUGHTS: This is one of my favorite summertime moisturizers. You can layer it over or under anything and it WILL NOT PILL. 🙏🏾 I finished it within a year and now I am trying to get through my other moisturizers so I won’t be repurchasing this any time soon. (I may try the belif - The True Cream Moisturizing Bombbecause it is supposed to be aces at restoring the health of your skin’s barrier.) For: Dry, normal, combination and oily skin. Clean at Sephora? ✔️ Recommend? Yes. 🌵 boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer was boscia’s response time the TATCHA - The Water Cream, PETER THOMAS ROTH - Travel Size Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream and belif’s Aqua Bomb. It launched mid-2018 and I received it in a bountiful Sephora set, Skin Wonderland. It is a fast-absorbing gel that hydrated while helping combat the loss of elasticity and firmness. MY THOUGHTS: I dislike this product so much. It doesn’t layer well with a lot of products. It just wants to pill and separate. It leaves residue that resembles the peels of FREEMAN - Feeling Beautiful, Renewing Peel-Off Gel Mask, Cucumber. Not exactly what you want look like after using a $38 product. (I included a photo of what happened after I rubbed my face with it on.) For: Normal, combination and oily skin. Clean at Sephora? ✔️ Recommend? No.

Really Wanted to Love It
I recently got some Kiehl’s products for Christmas and then again for my birthday in April, when I heard they had a sensitive-skin friendly line that helped acne prone skin I was very excited! However, I would not buy this product again (see pros/cons list below). While it helped with acne and brightening, it was really too harsh for my eczema-prone skin. I have to be very selective of when I can use this product and honestly anything that makes my skin even a little uncomfortable is a no from me, dawg. Pros Beautiful texture Brightening A little goes a long way Cons Overpowering scent (like way too much citrus brightness). Sits on top of my skin. Doesn’t play well with makeup (you have to wait forever to put some on). Makes the skin appear oily upon application but really does nothing to moisturize. I’m bone dry again within an hour. Irritates my skin when it gets very sensitive. I have eczema, probably not best for those with painful skin conditions. If you have skin that’s on the sensitive side but don’t react to everything perhaps you would have more luck? Hope this honest review helps!
My skincare routine for summer ( All KIEHL'S)
As I have oily skin, my skin condition deteriorates especially when summer is coming. To get over the excess in sebum production and avoid causing problems like clogging pores. The emphasis of summer skincare is the cleaning and the right amount of hydration. ◇ Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque In summer, clay mask is always a good choice for deep cleansing. I would apply a thick layer of this clay mask after normal cleaning, and it really helps wash out the additional sebum without irritation. After washing it away, you will see blackheads coming out. Kiehl's - Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque ◇ Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner It is essential to provide moisture immediately after cleansing! I love the KIEHL'S Calendula series, this ingredient helps with oil control and balancing, I would use this water as a second-time cleaning, I would wet cotton pads with the toner and gently rubs the blackheads cleanout by the clay mask. Oh, and you can see the micronized petals of calendula float in the toner! Kiehl's - Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner ◇ Calendula Serum-infused Water Cream Using this cream is such an enjoyable experience! Although it is so-called a cream, but as its name indicates, it’s so watery and the texture is more lightweight, almost gel-like, even easier to be blended out than lotion. As soon as you massage it over, it feels like a water bomb explodes under your skin. Another reason that I love calendula for summer, it calms down the skin with its cooling sensation. I would also use it as an after-sun repairing mask. Kiehl's - Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream ◇ Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado The last step of my skincare routine is eye cream; this avocado eye cream from KIEHL'S is a great choice for normal moisture; therefore, prevent early aging. But I won't expect it goes far to the extent of reducing existing lines, so I would only use this during summer. Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado

Tatcha Water Cream❣️
FOUR STARS ONLY because of the price. I have a few things to say about this. “Water Cream” is the perfect name for it. I love that it does not leave my skin feeling like I’ve loaded a bunch of product on my face while leaving my skin very moisturized. OH AND THE SPATULA- I love that this comes with a tool to use so you don’t have to stick your fingers into the cream each time you use it! Ahh sanitary! However, I noticed something very strange when I got close to running out. The remaining product in the bottom of the jar had a little bit of a shimmer to it which leads me to believe that it had a hint of shimmer all along, and perhaps it settled at the bottom— I pay VERY close attention to what I am putting on my face, and I never noticed any hint of shimmer in it until I was running extremely low. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative (NOT a dupe) the Hello F.A.B. Coconut Water Cream feels very similar in the sense that it feels like you have nothing on your skin but still provides moisture. Will I repurchase this product? Probably NOT, because of the price point😅
Tatcha Water Cream
I received this mini sized product as a gift at Sephora last month. First of all, I have seen the hype over this product but i was NEVER going to buy it due to its outrageous price ($68 for 1.7oz). I thought that it was just a normal product that people hyped up for absolutely no reason. Then, I tried it out...and WOW! This is the first product that I fell in love with! It’s lightweight, it made my makeup application BOMB ASF, it evened out my skin tone, and it overall just felt incredible on my skin! Again, just like my last product I reviewed, I do not agree with the fragrance component. Now, this water cream has a very very very small amount but it’s still there and it doesn’t have to be. Overall, I’m in love with this product and I definitely recommend buying it, it’s so worth it, trust me:)TATCHA - The Water Cream
Beautemoji watermelon pink juice moisturizer!
The glow recipe watermelon pink juice oil free moisturizer is a brightening lightweight moisturizer, formulated with watermelon extract, hyaluronic acid, and botanicals to boost radiance and glow! It’s great for oily, dry, combo, and normal skin types. It can be solutions for dryness, redness, fine lines, and wrinkles. It is great for oil control as well! The texture of this is a very lightweight gel that is so cooling on your skin. I really enjoy using this moisturizer in the morning because it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily or greasy and it soaks right in. It smells just like fresh watermelons which I love! I have used this for about 6 months from a friend recommending it to me! It is very hydrating and didn’t break me out. I saw great results in my skins glow throughout the day! I would for sure recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing day moisturizer that really gives your skin the hydration it needs! It is really worth purchasing for $39 for 2oz or $21 for .85oz! I chose the watermelon emoji because this is called the watermelon juice moisturizer, and it smells exactly like watermelon candy! I chose the water emoji because this moisturizer is super hydrating and makes your face super moisturized! Then I chose the pink heart emoji because the packaging is pink and so is the actual moisturizer!GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer

TATCHA - The Water Cream Alright, let’s be real, we’ve seen the Tatcha Watercream on everyone’s shelfie but for good reason! I’ve been using this moisturizer for years and have turned multiple friends to it. Its lightweight, melts into your face, pairs well with other skin products like oils, serums, and toners. It starts out as a light texture then once you rub it in it melts into watery goodness and sinks in your skin. I have oily/combo/dehydrated skin and even my dry skin friends love it. You feel immensely hydrated, plump, luxurious, and glowy. Tatcha is known for their holy trinity of green tea, rice, and algae that provide results. This unique formula breaks into a watery consistency without leaving the skin sticky or greasy. Contains Japanese wild rose to vis ugly tighten pores and smooth skin texture; Japanese’s leopard lily to control oil and purify skin for natural skin turnover; and hadasei 3 an anti-aging trinity of green tea, rice and algae to give radiance. Targets pores, dryness, and dull and uneven texture. It leaves a subtle, shine-free glow. I highly recommend it for oily, sensitive skin because it is so light yet moisturizing. The full tube is priced at $68 for $50ml but its soooo worth.
TATCHA-The Water Cream
Moisturizer for oily/sensitive skin
TATCHA - The Water Cream “This oil-free, anti-aging water cream releases a burst of skin-improving Japanese nutrients, powerful botanicals and optimal hydration for pure, poreless skin.” It targets pores, dryness, dull and uneven texture. It is mainly for oily and sensitive skin. Provides nutrient-rich, balanced hydration. It contains Japanese botanicals (wild rose and leopard lily) that clarifies and refines skin. The ingredient list contains Hadasei 3 which includes green tea, rice and algae. This is good for anti-aging and provides youthful radiance. The smell is nice. It has lightweight texture. It melts and absorbs well into the skin. I have been using it for 3 months. It never left my skin sticky or greasy. I have normal skin tone. It never broke me out or irritated my skin. It moisturizes well and doesn’t feel heavy, good for using under makeup. I might not repurchase it because it has dimethicone. It also has alcohol in it, although its pretty low on the ingredient list. For my daily moisturizer, I would prefer something without silicones, fragrance and alcohol. But those who have no issues with silicones in the product and have combination to oily skin can go for it. The price is $68 for 1.7 oz which I think is high. I recommend this for oily and sensitive skin looking for hydration.

Youthtothepeople Adaptogen Moisturizer
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi This moisturizer is targeted towards dry to normal skin, but actually works very well with my combo skin. The texture is very rich, but still lightweight in my opinion. It’s not a thick cream, but works like one without clogging my pores. I only use a pea size for my whole face and it even works under makeup. I love how this makes me wake up with smooth but still hydrated skin and it never broke me out. Would recommend for all skin types, even oily skin could give it a try. One of my favorites!

Moisturizers! Who doesn’t love a good and effective moisturizer in their skincare routine! I was gifted a sample of alpyn beauty - Free Deluxe Melt Moisturizer Gift from a giveaway prize and was using it for two weeks! It’s meant to be a “weightless hydrator that leaves skin with a velvety skin,” according to the website. After applying this moisturizer, I felt that my face looked dull and no trace of the “velvety” appearance. I was pretty disappointed since I heard good things about the brand. For a free product I won’t complain much. However, when I saw this product retails for $60.00! I am not sure this item is worth the price since I didn’t see the results. But if this item works for you, I am glad to hear that! Because I was not impressed with this moisturizer I wanted to try something different! Hence why I tried OLE HENRIKSEN - Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer ! This is an “antioxidant moisturizer hydrates, evens skin tone, smoothes skin texture,” according to the website. They have the same color of texture however the Ole Henriksen has a more watery feel and glides on smoother over the face. Both items don’t have a scent which I appreciate in facial items. Both are moisturizers that leave the skin feel hydrated and luminous! This item retails for $40.00 (1.7oz). I am loving this item so much more compared to the Alpyn Beauty moisturizer because I feel and see the difference in my skin and like that it leaves my skin flawless! I definitely recommend this moisturizer if you like me have oily combo skin!

Ingredient Spotlight — Farmacy Honey Drop
FARMACY - Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer INGREDIENTS - Honey: soothing humectant properties, moisture, nourishment, and antioxidants. - Hyaluronic Acid Complex: helps boost skin’s natural moisture, improves firmness + elasticity. - Cupuaçu Butter Beads: supports moisture barrier function + softens the skin. This moisturizer claims to be good for all skin types, and targets dryness, dullness, uneven texture, and loss of firmness/elasticity. It is light weight, so I think it would be better suited for oily to combination skin. The moisturizer itself has beads suspended in it which burst when you rub it in. I personally really enjoyed this product and found that it was a really good moisturizer for my oily skin type. The texture sinks into my skin very well and plays well with other products, which is a must in my opinion. It has a very light scent, which didn’t bother me at all. I did not find this moisturizer to tackle texture issues at all, but I do not find that the ingredients in this would help with that issue for my skin. This moisturizer is $45 for 1.7 oz., and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a lightweight moisturizer. I give this moisturizer 4/5 stars.
