I really love a good moisturizer and a great mascara.
Colourpop Gets It Right (Again)
TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N COLOURPOP - Grandeur Eyeshadow Palette These colors were easy to work with, wore well with little fall out, and beautiful to wear. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Out of Quart ( which Was fincky and didn’t give me the color I thought it would) layered under CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush in Melon Pop which gives my cheeks a GLOW. Thanks Cherie for the rec!!!!! I wore too different lip colors in these pictures. In the first, I am wearing SIGMA - SIGMA BEAUTY Liquid Lipstick in Venom with COLOURPOP - Lux Gloss in Renaissance over. I thought this color was too deep and too matte for me but ymmv. In the second picture, I am wearing BECCA - Ultimate Lipstick Love in Ruby which wore so well and gave my face a glow even if it didn’t go with the rest of the look. In conclusion, I really like the Becca lipstick and the Colourpop palette but not together. I think I will wear the palette during the holiday dinner. It is that fantastic.

This Mask Duo Will Have You Singing
CLARISMA - Namaste Glow Energizing Face Mask This mask is a deep drown, almost black. Unlike many a clarifying mask it has a creamy consistency probably because of the kokum butter. The mask also contains Pineapple enzyme and monoi oil. It comes with a brush but I prefer to apply with my fingers. It spreads pretty thinly so you have to use a decent amount but you get 3 1/3 oz for 25 dollars so it isn’t so bad. It tingles a bit, similar to the sensation of having a peppermint candy on your tongue but it doesn’t burn or sting. I leave it on for 10-12 minutes. Then I use GLAMGLOW - THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment Mask which I spread in a thin layer on my face, as if it were a moisturizer. It smells like caramel (which I hate) and it does tingle uncomfortably for about a minute. However, it feels so good on my skin that I can deal with the smell. I then apply my regular moisturizer (innisfree - Olive Real Power Cream Ex. ) and go to bed. When I wake up, my skin is glowing and I even notice some fading of acne scars. I have dry/combo skin that is very sensitive. My main issues with my skin are dullness and redness from old acne scars.

A Weekend Warm Toned Look For $
Some of the products mentioned here are pricey (the mascara for instance but they can easy be switched out for your favorite drugstore dupe). I’ve never done a warm toned look before so feedback is appreciated! Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer Moving on TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N. COLOURPOP - Nude Mood Eyeshadow Palette The palette is a great starter/basic palette. The pigments were intense, creamy and easy to work with. I will definitely be using this palette often this falll/winter. Plus, thanks to points, I only paid 4 dollars for it. I would rec this palette especially to anyone whose nieces or nephews were just getting into makeup. It would make a great present for them. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG Makeup. MAKEUP BY MARIO - Master Mattes Brightening Eye Pencil I melted the tip by warming it between my fingers and it definitely helped with brightening my eyes. It took a while to get the angle right but once I did, it applied without tugging. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. If you don’t own this lit from within bronzer, run to ulta and pick it up. I got it for 50% off. Best 7.50 I ever spent on makeup. COLOURPOP - Lux Velvet Liquid Lip in Fatale. This performed beyond my expectations. It applied smoothly and stayed in place once applied. It is a little drying but the color is gorgeous and for $8 it is hard to complain about that. I love this formula and look forward to buying more colors in this formula.

Birthday makeup product reviews
Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer still love it. Moving on. LORAC - PRO Palette Soleil This is like two palettes in one-each with wildly different quality. The mattes kick up a lot of eyeshadow dust although they do adhere okay once applied with only some fall out. The shimmers are gorgeous and creamy and easy to work with and make this palette worth the 35 dollar price. I fell asleep wearing this makeup and the shimmers did not fall out or fade at all. WANDER BEAUTY - Mile High Club Volume and Length Mascara after the first coat it gets a little crunchy and not in a save the planet homemade granola making way. TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel I love this product. My foundation goes on so smoothly and stays on longer. Caution: Do not fall asleep in it bc I took a tiny three hour nap while wearing it and broke out. Otherwise a great product. UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N. Great, long lasting unnoticeable coverage. My only complaint is the initial perfumey scent. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. The best 7 dollars I’ve ever spent. Creamy and easy to blend but once it sets, it does not budge. OFRA - #OFRAglow Signature Highlighting Palette in Star Island. The perfect compliment to the bronzer and the whole look was this gold highlighter. GUCCI - Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipstick in Three Wise Girls. The website described this as a pinky red but it pulls orange on me. In my opinion, Gucci’s lipstick colors are the best in the business and I wish I could afford their lipsticks more than once a year. The color is lovely, comfortable to wear and brings a glow to your face. Highly recommended.
OFRA-#OFRAglow Signature Highlighting Palette
In which I pull out all the stops (on a budget)! TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel I love the way this feels on my skin and how it makes my makeup almost glide on. Definitely worth the price and worth combing through the ‘new arrivals’ page on Ulta for. UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N. A great match for me. I wish it were a tad more moisturizing because even with my new primer it does settle into the pores near my nose after a couple of hours. But it lasts and lasts and gives decent luminosity: I am thinking of mixing it with something though during the winter. Any suggestions? Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer Holy Grail. Next. PAT McGRATH LABS - Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad in Fleur Fantasia. This is the most disappointing product I have ever bought from PML. Two of the colors were dry and hard to work with. The pink was way too creamy for my tastes and when blended they ended up in a mush of color like a two year old’s watercolors. I expect better from this brand and at these prices. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara Holy Grail. I have long lashes but they are light brown. This product, in two coats, gives me LASHES. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer Terrible for blemishes and dark spots but the texture makes it really great for brightening under eye circles when applied on top of foundation. I guess we all have our niche. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. Possibly the best on the market. Easy to apply and I can use my fingers to even it out. A dream product. CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush in Melon Pop. Cherie made me buy this. Thank you, Cherie. This is great on top of bronzer and gives a nice glow. It is, dare I say, better than Orgasm by Nars because the glow is subtle and it doesn’t emphasize my pores. It also feels great on. Very smooth and buttery. bareMinerals - Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick Drying but the color lasts for about four hours through eating and drinking. Not the best lipstick out there but not the worst. The color is great though! My birthday was great! Planning out the makeup for my birthday was great and I want to thank all of you for the tips and tricks I’ve learned during my time as part of this comm.

Please Vote: Look Inspired By Rep. Ilhan Omar
Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer My product has become a little runny. It might be time to replace. TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel This primer has is off-white/clear color and a light gel texture that goes on like a dream. It makes my foundation go on smoothly and gives me a hint of glass skin. I am a fan so far. UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N. Holy Grail. Though it does accentuate some of my pores after a couple of hours. LORAC - Pro Palette 4 The particular shades I used applied smoothly but kicked up so much eyeshadow dust I had an asthma attack. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara I need a new mascara cause this is starting to club. HG product though. CHANTECAILLE - Philanthropy Cheek Shade in Bee. Pigmented and easy to apply. I wish it was easier to work with once applied but it just means you have to be more careful. It has an almost creamy texture for a powder blush. URBAN DECAY - Original All Nighter Setting Spray Ornament I have decided this product is useless. Looking for a better setting spray. GUCCI - Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipstick in The Fallen Sparrow. Applies like a dream, has a great texture, moisturizing and a gorgeous color. Highly recommended. I know AOC gets more attention for her makeup but I love Rep. Omar’s neutral face and berry lip. This is my version of it. Vote!

Don’t let consumerism trick you
Let’s talk about ingredients and how brands use marketing and bought reviews as a way to make you think their products is all you need. Sure you will probably get some “improvement” at first, but are they really long term? Let’s see! 👀 Ingredients that are comedogenic*: - Coconut oil. Seriously I looooove it! But thread carefully. Is it anti microbial? Yaaasss!!! Is it conditioning? Yaaasss!!! Is it great for your skin? Well, yes and no! Fractionated coconut contrary to popular belief is non-comedogenic making it safe to use, even for acne-prone skin. Noooow... Caprylic/capric triglyceride used in many body, hair & SKIN care products is not something you want to have in your skincare products. (It also depends how high up the ingredient is as it’s really commonly used) - Dimethicone. Usually considered safe as the molecules are too big to be absorbed anyways. So whatever you’re using that has dimethicone and is not your last step, even then is bad(topic for another day, *ahem*), it’s not really beneficial for other serums or treatments since it’s blocking their entrance to your skin. Also, dimethicone tends to accumulate over time, since it’s not water soluble. So break it up with oil before using you skin cleanser in order to get actual benefits from your other skin caring products. - Stearic acid. Comedogenic level of 2-3 out of 5. It is said to be a good cleanser and skin barrier protector... BUT people with sensitive/acne-prone skin deserve way better ingredients for their skin. For other skin types stearic acid derived from cocoa butter and shea butter, are exceptions since the stearic acid content (as a triglyceride) is 28–45%. Snow Mushroom 🍄 ❄️ Serum?!
I got this beauty in my first BoxyCharm box which was awesome! VOLITION - Snow Mushroom Water Serum COST-$62.00 WHAT IS IT?! ❄️ An ultra hydrating serum containing snow mushroom which is a superfood. ❄️Minimizes the look of pores and gives your skin a more plump and healthy appearance. ❄️For all skin types. ❄️Helps with dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. 🔑Ingredients: ❄️Snow mushroom, for locking in moisture. 🍉🍎Watermelon and Apple extract for brightening and plumping. 💦Marine water for minimum the look of pores. 🍃Vegan and cruelty free! ❤️Quick side note, the lady that began this line had horrible acne issues and this line was a product of her finding a solution! My Thoughts 💭 So far I really have enjoyed this serum. The last serum I used with some kind of mushroom in it broke me out pretty quick, and not in a purging way. It was an oil though. This one is such a lightweight serum and my face just soaks it up so fast! You don’t need a lot and there is almost no aroma. Some mushroom things smell a little weird to me. 😂 I have not used it long enough to see a difference in my pores or plumpness yet but you can definitely tell it is hydrating! Which I have dry combo skin and hydration is key for me! What is your favorite mushroom product?! #CherieCreator❤️❄️

Milk Primer is The One
Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Hands down this have to be the primer that I can not go without! I’ve never believed in primer until this product changed my mind. After months of people raving about this product I must get my hands on this. Got the mini size just to try it it out, because you never know if you like something or not. I really like how it came with a little pump. I love when products come with pump to avoid and contamination. I notice that my skin instantly glow the moment I slather this onto my skin. I let the primer settle into my skin for a min and than I start to do my make up. My makeup settle in very well and just looks like my skin but better. Now that it is winter my skin gets a bit dry, this primer really help to hydrate my skin. Overall this might be my holy grail, but I’ll have to use it a few more times to really tell.

I bet it’s a perfect blush for Dull Skin
Blush is a very important step in makeup routine for girls. It can help brighten their skin tone and make them look healthier and younger. Whether it's makeup or skincare, it's vital to find the right product for yourself. For blush, besides the brand, a common problem is how to choose the perfect color. A basic principle is lighter shades for fair skintones and darker shades for dark skintones. However, some girls may say that they are born with dull skin, blush can't bring them good complexion and they still look pale or sick. In fact, to rescue dull skin by makeup, the most important thing is to add a touch of redness to the skin. In my experience, dark red, wine red and deep purple shades of blush( maybe with shimmer) are suitable for girls with dull skin. By the way, wine red blush is especially suitable for places with bright lights, to avoid the light impairing your facial shine. Personally, purple shade is my favorite. I have dry, dull skin. In the beginning, I found it hard to believe that how can purple blush look good on me, it will make me look like a monster I thought. Until my friend applied her baby blush on my face, I discovered the New World! Her baby blush is Clinique blush titled Pansy Pop. I later ordered one immediately when I got home. The blush itself is pretty beautiful and I enjoy its formula and color. It is light so it doesn’t come off too strong! This one goes on smoothly, giving your cheek a great natural glow and subtle color. It is also worth mentioning its long-lasting durability and it does not break up easily. Don't feel depressed about your dull skin. I definitely recommend this blush to you and I will re-purchase it in the future.
DARK SPOTS DISAPPEARED!!
Today I have a review of the @skinfixinc correct+ Dark Spot Corrector. Ever since I was diagnosed with mild rosacea I started to notice very small dark spots around my eye area. The topical creams I was prescribed caused my skin to develop a sensitivity to sunlight which in turn has resulted in the dark spots. • • Skinfix is my holy grail skincare brand and I use several of their products in my daily skincare routine. I was excited to hear that they were releasing a dark spot corrector. This serum is a daily treatment, with 10 clinical actives, that work to minimize the appearance of dark spots, brighten skin, and nurture the skin barrier. One of the ingredients in the corrector is turmeric which helps lighten and minimize the appearance of dark spots. The consistency is lightweight and it feels very hydrating on the skin. • • I use it during my PM routine and allow it to do its magic overnight. I have used the corrector every other day for the last 4 weeks and I have seen a significant difference in my dark spots. They have lightened significantly and a few are completely gone!
