A simple monochromatic look
UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation
Quick everyday makeup
PAT McGRATH LABS
Simple, foundation free makeup
COLOURPOP - Going Coconuts It has some winners and some not winners. I went with Coolada for a clean look. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer in 16N. I wish I could find a concealer I liked more that didn’t have dimethicone in it. But this diminishes the redness around my chin and works for now. WANDER BEAUTY - Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara I like this mascara for a subtle mascara look. It does clump a little so watch out for that. ILIA - Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil in Saint. I love this formula. It’s not sticky, it’s buildable and it has just the right amount of shine. I’ve decided to try going without foundation for the first time since I started wearing makeup. It’s pretty scary but I have found that foundation was making my skin worse and trapping me in a cycle. Since I threw away my foundation, my skin has improved!
Glowing In A Flash!
CLINIQUE - Even Better Glow Light Reflecting Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Foundation Takes a while to set but really does give good coverage and a nice glow! OFRA - #OFRAglow Signature Highlighting Palette This is such a great highlighting palette filled with gorgeous colors that layer well and apply easily. Best 25 dollars I’ve ever spent on makeup. Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s eyeshadow glue as long as you remember to let it set because it comes out kind of runny! ciaté - Trend Edit Palette This colors applied easily with fingers, was smooth and creamy, nicely pigmented and had a great color profile. So why the one star? I was allergic to this palette and my eyes itched so badly. I got it in my Allure Beauty Box and I kinda want my money back for this month because the box was terrible!!!! ILIA - Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil in Tahiti. Probably my favorite shade in this range. I love these glosses and this coral is fantastic. Very summer vacation! PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG.
A perfect lipstick that can also become your blush and eyeshadow!
Buying products with more than one use is not just saving money but can also make our makeup bag lighter and make room for other things. It is also true that most of the additional uses are discovered by chance, including the way how I found my lipstick being an all-round product my face needs. This lipstick is PAT McGRATH LABS - BlitzTrance Lipstick and when I bought it from Sephora, I did not expect any other uses to be honest. But I found that it has a very beautiful shimmering effect, so I thought maybe I can try it on my cheek just like what others do to see whether it can be my lipstick+blush. The one I got is Flesh Fatale and it has peachy, red hue with a lot of glitters in it. The effect of it on my cheek is better than it on my lip. I like the feeling of it on my lip but it makes my lip lines look more obvious if my lip gets quite chapped and dry. I just use my finger to touch some and gently dap on my cheekbone and apple to make my face look healthier. I sometimes also use it as eyeshadow, and it also looks quite natural just like when I put it on cheek. Same way of application, transfer the lipstick to the finger and dap some on eyelid, and that’s it. It is super easy for me to finish a quick makeup if I don’t have much time or when I forget to bring my blush or eyeshadow. The colour of this lipstick is common and creates a soft and warm look, which does not make my look less formal if I am at work. Also when using it as an eyeshadow, its creamy texture gives it a perfect performance on eyelid and around eye area, and no eye primer needed for that. It is such a cool product and gives me unexpected fun to use not just on lip.
I really like it but it's too dry 😢
This is a Christmas limited edition. Sounds outdated, right? I bought it just because the site had a 25% discount during the past weeks. After got it, I have to admire the rosy nude is so beautiful, and it has a strong metallic luster even as shine as diamonds. However, after about an hour when I wear it, the cream dries and creases on my lips. I've tried A LOT hydrating lip primrs before using it but the result still make me frustrated. I hope Pat can improve their lipstick formulas. After all, such beautiful glitter lipsticks are rare. Or do you have any others can recommend to me? Please give me a comment!
These Are The Eyeshadows You Are Looking For
TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel CLINIQUE - Even Better Glow Light Reflecting Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Foundation CN 10 tarte - Shape Tape Concealer 16N Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer The best primer IMO. COLOURPOP - The Child Eyeshadow Palette This is a fantastic palette. The color story is great and I am a huge Star Wars nerd so buying this palette was a must. The colors applied easily with minimal fallout and the pigments are great. Definitely worth picking up.. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush in Melon. Gives me a great glow. Picks up easily on the brush. Applies with no fallout. Lasts for hours without touch ups and is perfectly subtle. ILIA - Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil in Tahiti. I love this formula. This isn’t my favorite shade but is a great everyday/introductory shade if you are thinking about picking up the formula.
Colourpop Gets It Right (Again)
TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N COLOURPOP - Grandeur Eyeshadow Palette These colors were easy to work with, wore well with little fall out, and beautiful to wear. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Out of Quart ( which Was fincky and didn’t give me the color I thought it would) layered under CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush in Melon Pop which gives my cheeks a GLOW. Thanks Cherie for the rec!!!!! I wore too different lip colors in these pictures. In the first, I am wearing SIGMA - SIGMA BEAUTY Liquid Lipstick in Venom with COLOURPOP - Lux Gloss in Renaissance over. I thought this color was too deep and too matte for me but ymmv. In the second picture, I am wearing BECCA - Ultimate Lipstick Love in Ruby which wore so well and gave my face a glow even if it didn’t go with the rest of the look. In conclusion, I really like the Becca lipstick and the Colourpop palette but not together. I think I will wear the palette during the holiday dinner. It is that fantastic.

Even toned skin with just CONCEALER ‼️
The finessing can be real if you put in the effort. I’m just using concealer from beautyblender - Pro-Kit Concealers Deep no foundation 🙅🏽♀️. I was tired of the tarte cosmetics concealer & noticed it wasn’t working for my texture anymore. It’s all about your skincare regimen & knowing what skin type you are to achieve the skin you would like to feel comfortable just using concealer. With using concealer as a only makeup option when you’re lazy, make sure you’re toning with balancing pore refining ingredients for combination skin, light exfoliating & hydrating. I do get blemishes around the jawline area (hormonal fluctuations) but can mitigate them with a spot treatment first, then go in with concealer & blend. Blend, Blend, Blend is you’re Friend, Friend, Friend 😂🙂. Using PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara & trust me when I say, these are my real lashes (no falsies).
Zoom Meeting Look
CLINIQUE - Even Better Glow Light Reflecting Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Foundation CN10 COLOURPOP - In a Trance Shadow Palette A nice color story, good color payoff, easy applicability, and a nice way to add a pop of color to a basic look. Rare Beauty - Stay Vulnerable Melting Cream Blush in Nearly Rose. I still love this blush so much I think I may buy another color. Blends beautifully and gives just a hint of a flush. WANDER BEAUTY - Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara A nice alternative when I want a less dramatic lash look than PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara The brush is nice but the formula could be a little less thick when applied. Charlotte Tilbury - Lip Lustre Lip Gloss in Walk Of No Shame. A nice semi-opaque color that I am deducting a point from because of the overwhelming vanilla smell. Stop scenting your beauty products, please!!!!!
DISNEY DESIGNER ❤️
This COLOURPOP - It's a Princess Thing shadow palette A part of the Disney designer collection that Disney released in collaboration with colourpop. I don’t know if I’ve ever been more excited for any collection to launch with a brand. When I actually saw this pallet I thought it was gorgeous and perfect for an every day eyeshadow palette. Even though this contains a few pops of color I think that is very wearable for your every day make up we are but you can also play with it if you like more color in your looks. The shade names are absolutely adorable and fit perfectly with the princess theme. The actual quality of the shadows it’s just like colourpops regular shadow formulation which is amazing in my opinion performs as if it were a higher end pallets. If you’ve been eyeing this pallete or any other pallet from colourpop I highly recommend checking it out especially for the price point.

Red Lipstick? That’s Where The Drama Begins
UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation T1N. Easy to apply and stays even without setting powder or spray. COLOURPOP - Going Coconuts One of Colourpop’s better palette’s easy to apply and the colors are nicely pigmented. A good neutral palette for everyday wear. HOURGLASS - Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara Worst Mascara Ever. #Sydney Grace - Paris Skies[products]#[ThreeStars] Very pigmented and deeper than I expected. It eventually blended out but it took work. COLOURPOP - Lippie Stix Goldie. They were not fulling around with the red of this pen. It is intense. I topped it with COLOURPOP - Lux Lip Gloss in Renaissance which was a mistake. Should have left the matte lip intact. Next time I will pair Goldie with a sparkling metallic eye to tone down the intensity factor.
Ofra Cosmetics Island Time Palette What’s inside: Bellini Blush- neutral peachy-pink Mai Tai Blush- soft tropical orange Punch Blush- bright corally-pink Cosmo Blush- fuschia with a hint of sheen Bali Highlighter- peachy-gold glow 🏖Cosmo Blush - full sized 10g compact of the blush shade featured in the palette . 🍍5 Flexi-Stick - hybrid lippie with flexible color that goes on creamy like a gloss with the pigment of a liquid lipstick -Top Shelf- mauve mocha -Swizzle- muted berry pink -Shaken- mauve berry -Slush- rosey nude -Fuzzy- warm peach nude I love everything about Ofra's face palettes. The packaging is absolutely flawless. They're sleek and compact but very solidly built. They also have perfect lids... which sounds weird but hear me out. The inside has a huge mirror and nothing else, no stupid logo or wasted space. It closes very securely so there's zero chance of it popping open in your purse or luggage. I like that the pans are easy to remove so that you can move things around and mix and match with other Ofra palettes. The pan placement is perfect too. They're positioned in a way that allows you to use a big ass brush without making a mess but there's also not a ton of wasted space. And the most underrated feature of all, a very strong hinge allowing you to position the mirror exactly how you like.Have you ever tried to use a palette mirror that doesn't stay upright?? It fucking sucks. Initially I wasn't so sure about the white packaging. It looks great when it's clean but I have dirty makeup fingers 96% of my life... luckily the material is easy to wipe down and doesn't stain.
Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighters I Like and I DONT Like
Do you like bronzer, blush or highlighter? I DO! And I really really really want to show you these beautiful products. Also, there are some products I do not like that much. I hope this helps when you are choosing your product! ColourPop Topaz X Alexis Ren Pressed Powder Face Duo is a red-brown shade for the bronzer and a dark champagne shade for the highlighter. It's more suitable for girls with a darker skin tone, but it's not for me. I highly recommendessence - Matt Touch Blush - 01 It's Berry Time. Its powder has a fine texture and except for its poor packaging quality, I like everything about it. COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter- Lunch Money I recommend ColourPop - Lunch Money if you are looking for an affordable, delicate, and pore-minimizing highlighter of a natural and classy champagne shade. I don't recommend NYX Illuminating Palette because it doesn't have a great texture, the shades are not pretty, and I can only use it as an eye shadow highlighter. Also, after buying a few palettes, I realized that there is no need at all to buy a highlighter or blush palette since we only use one or two of the shades.
COLOURPOP- Super Shock Highlighter
Ofra Cosmetics Lip Glosses ($15 each) . Ofra lip glosses just got a makeover! They've got the same great formula that keep the lips hydrated and protected from the sun but with updated packaging. RMS Signature Set: Pop Collection
rms beauty - rms beauty Signature Set This bad boy is WELL LOVED. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because I don’t really like the Buriti Bronzer. I know that’s one of their most like products, but I hate a shimmery bronzer. When I use it I try to make it eyeshadow but it creases almost immediately. Besides that, I love everything else in this palette. I didn’t think I was going to like the pink demure lip2cheek but it’s one of my favorite blushes for a natural look. The Magic Luminizer is my favorite highlighter for a going out look. It blends easily and lasts the day. The beloved lip2cheek is a nice poppy red and it reminds me of a less matte Glossier Generation G in Zip. This also comes with an amazing lip balm that I’ve 100% used up and wish I had more of. This is a really good palette for travel as you can make everything work for any event, you don’t need any brushes, and it’s TSA approved. Love it!

This mini bronzer is so great! I use it mostly for simple neutral eyeshadow looks when I need something quick and easy. It’s also great for a travel bronzer. The texture is matte but creates a nice neutral brown look-I love it! I’d definitely recommend it Too Faced - Chocolate Gold Soleil Bronzer
Too Faced-Chocolate Gold Soleil Bronzer
F.A.I.R. Beauty Cosmetics Highlighters . Fair is an indie brand based out of Miami. She sells eyeshadows, highlighters, glitter and makeup bags. Of course she's cruelty free (I've never come across an indie that wasn't) and her entire line is vegan as well! Her highlighters are $12 for a 38mm pan or $17 for a 42mm compact. And she offers free US shipping on orders of $50 or more! This the warmer toned half of her highlighters and hot damn! I forgot how pretty some of these are! Capheira is one of the coolest highlighters ever. I did a crappy job of capturing all of its dimensions on camera. It's a light greenish gold that's marbled with white but the white has pink reflects so it can look gold, green or pink depending on the light and angle. That's a must have, imo. My second favorite is Fairy's Wish. It isn't as unique as Capheira but its the most beautiful metallic rose gold that looks gorgeous on the skin. Alicorn is ivory with yellow gold reflects, very fair girl friendly. I don't even know how to describe Siren's Song... it's an ultra metallic... antique gold? Dark peachy gold? Idk. It would def look great on brown skin but I can actually pull it off too, with a light hand. And lastly, Alectrona is a satiny rose color that looks beautiful as a blush/blush topper

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
