I can’t wait to spend more time with this palette! PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG!!!! CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush Pink Honey. I love these blushes. Easy to pick up on the brush, affordable and buildable. Worth the 25 dollars. PAT McGRATH LABS - BlitzTrance Lipstick Lady Stardust. A neutral with personality. I layered it under ILIA - Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil in Saint. A simple and easy look that didn’t come together exactly like I wanted it to (Fairy Godmother pulled more peach than it showed in pain) but I am satisfied with it.

But the color payoff is terrific and the duochrome is gorgeous in person. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light. Blends well and goes on smoothly! DIOR - BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette Hard to pick up with my brush. Doesn’t layer well over bronzer. Ended up looking muddy. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Jackie Aina Eyeshadow Palette I love the colors and the intensity of them but the fallout of ‘Big Wig’, the only matte I used, was really heavy. The shimmers and glitters are great however and the colors suit a wide range of skin tones. COVER FX - Dewy Finish Setting Spray Gives me a glow but I think I prefer Urban Decay All-Nighter setting spray. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara HG OG DIOR - BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette in Rose Gold. Love the glow this gives me and the softness of the color. Builds really beautifully. GUCCI - Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipstick in Three Wise Girls topped with COLOURPOP - Lux Lip Gloss in Renaissance. I love both these products. The lipstick has a little bit of a smell that dissipates quickly and the gloss is great for topping many a lipstick. A friend and I both decided to use the Jackie Aina palette to create a look. It was a fun thing to do as the weather and COVID limits my outside time. Tell me if you are interested in doing something similar!

JOSIE MARAN - 100% Pure Argan Oil (as primer). I splurge on this because the women are paid a living wage and their daughters are given a safe place to be during the day. I consider it an investment that I can’t make with every product but I do with this staple. UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation T1N. Applied really well over the Argan Oil and gave me a nice lit from within glow. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer 16N. Helps with the under eye bags! Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer MAGIC COVER FX - Dewy Finish Setting Spray I like how fine the mist is and the fact that it keeps my makeup from setting or turning matte. PAT McGRATH LABS - Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad Went on smoothly. Stayed on. Came off easily. No fall out. Felt great on! PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG. OFRA - #OFRAglow Signature Highlighting Palette Goes on like butter. Really buildable and great colors. BOBBI BROWN - Crushed Oil-Infused Lip Gloss in Bitter Sweet. I didn’t know what ‘pillowy’ meant until I wore this gorgeous lip color. It was scent and taste free. It applied easily with a great applicator and the color lost some intensity but stayed true for hours. Definitely a product I plan to buy more colors from. Happy Holidays to me!

ciaté - Trend Edit Palette I received this palette in the December 2020 Allure Beauty Box. Since I’m giving this palette to a friend (I have too many eyeshadow palettes and I thought she’d really like it) I thought I’d post the review from the Allure’s Hair Editor Jihan Forbes. There’s also another user on here who has reviewed this palette. I forget who it is but if you type the name of the palette her review shows up, and it’s a great review. This palette was smaller than I expected but that makes it great for travel, especially since there’s such a good range of colors. Here is Jihan’s review: “Do I love coppers, deep reds, and spicy browns? Yes, I do. Do I already have enough of these colors in my collection of shadows? Also, yes. But this Ciaté London Palette is worth adding to my stable. For me, the key to a good palette is options. If I leave the house for a trip and I pack one palette and nothing else, I should have everything I need to create a complete look. This Ciaté palette gives me that. Of the nine shades included, four are neutral browns (great at crease color options!), and five shades are shimmers. Each is creamy and rich, plus it’s compact size doesn’t take up too much space in your makeup bag. And if you need to reapply your shadows, you can do so using the mirror that’s included.” Sorry if there are typos. #Allure - Beauty Box[products]#[FiveStars] Last month of the year and the last beauty box of the year! Unlike last month, I really like what I have this month. I have very very dry sensitive skin and most of the products are geared towards that, plus there’s no eye gels which is great! I won’t be reviewing the ciaté - Trend Edit Palettebecause I’m giving it as a Christmas Gift for a friend, but the rest I will be reviewing. They also gave an extra little thank you gift which is the ARMANI beauty - Lip Maestro Lip Stain Overall I’m very excited about this month’s box! The only thing that’s kind of annoying is how these boxes are mostly skincare. I’m very much overwhelmed by the amount of skincare I’m getting.
