🤎 brown-eyed girl 🤎
I used to hate my brown eyes! I felt they were boring and ugly, but once I learned to love them I started experimenting with different eye makeup to really make them pop! here I show one of my favorite looks, it’s super quick but looks like it took forever! a few tips before attempting this, or any look: 1. blend, blend, blend. even the most novice of makeup users can master eyeshadow if you remember to blend! 2. little by little. it’s better to add your colors little by little. you can always add more pigment if needed, but it’s hard to remove it without ruining the whole look if you apply too much. Too Faced - Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer I actually start this look (and most eye shadow looks) with applying a bronzer as a “base”. MAC - MAC Eyeshadow next I apply my bronze, glitter shade with my ring finger. I simply tap it into the center of my eyelid, careful to not transfer the color too high. RIMMEL - Exaggerate Smoke N' Shine Eye Liner I love these eyeliners and have found a brown shade really makes dark eyes look soft & sultry. I use this to draw a rough winged liner, then take the sponge on the other end to blend it out. LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara fave mascara, this maintains my lashes lifted and curled all day. the perfect last step! that’s it! literally takes hardly any time at all to really transform my eyes. hope this helps a fellow brown-eyed girl 🤎 #cheriepartner
You Slept Late And Have An *In Person* Meeting!
Step One: Don’t forget that you stashed an emergency mask in your purse. Step Two: You Don’t Have Time For A Shower. Brush your teeth, wash your face, wear a scarf. Step Three: The Five Minute Make-Up Routine that will have you look has rested as a rose. Are roses rested? I was mainly going for alliteration there. Eyes: CLINIQUE - Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Amble Amber. Okay, whoever names these does a terrible job but I firmly believe that this line of no primer needed eyeshadow sticks is Clinique’s best product with a range of neutrals for many skin tones. ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara Who did Ilia bribe to get the buzz they have gotten for this product? I poked myself at n the eye four times with the wand. I haven’t done that since The Terminator was governor of California. Ridiculous. Returning it this week. Pat McGrath, I’ll never leave you again! PS I seem to be allergic to it. bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Opal Good buildable coverage. Stays put once it dries down. Gives me a nice glow. I am almost at empty! Yay me! I love how it makes me look so refreshed and like I am not wearing makeup. erborian - BB Crayon Concealer & Touch-Up Stick in Clair. Getting a new under eye concealer this week. Any thoughts? CHANTECAILLE - Philanthropy Cheek Shade in Emotion. The product is hard to get out of the pan but it has a great texture. MAKE UP FOR EVER - Mist & Fix Hydrating Setting Spray Smells awfu, works well. No lipstick because we are venturing into the world of masks! Good luck at your meeting with your boss’s boss!
Makeup-No Makeup w chubby sticks- quick & easy☀️
I’m all about “makeup-no makeup days” considering that I’m a student who is always on the go. These three products have been my major staples because they’re fast and super easy. I unintentionally chose stick products. I’ve come to realize that I enjoy them so much because I can fit them into a small pouch without needing any brushes, etc and they’re perfect for times when you’re running late because you’ve slept 5 hours the night before. Really, you just glide’em right on. 🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃 CLINIQUE - Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm (Roly Poly Rosy) I enjoy the sun-kissed glow this product is able to emit. It’s fun and gives that face a natural radiance. Very pigmented but diffuses quite well; buildable. Smooth texture- not sticky/tacky texture Dewy look- gives you that sun-kissed glow Easy to apply ⭐️ so so easy. Literally, swipe and diffuse. No breakouts Lasts long time (but I wouldn’t say all day) CLINIQUE - Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes (bountiful beige) Probably my fave out of the three. I apply it to my lids and it really brightens those eyes up. Very pigmented: gives your eye a POP Shimmer: somewhat similar to a highlighter but this product is somewhat “buttery” No creasing on the lids Lasts all day CLINIQUE - Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm (04 Mega Watermelon) Just the right amount of color Buildable- it can be as sheer or as highly pigmented as you’d like. Hydrating- moisturizes yours lips while giving them some colorful life Does not last very long- I mean, it’s a lip balm. So expect to reapply. 🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃 Also, can we talk about how underrated Clinique is? I’m in no way loyal to one specific brand- I love trying new things- but Clinique makes putting makeup on so effortless. It just doesn’t have all the cute packaging a lot of brands have but that’s ok, I’m more about what it delivers on my face and they’re quite gentle to it. Anyway, let me know what you think of these products if you’ve tried them!

Feeling ill?? Slap some makeup on!
I apologize for the sparse posts. Mama has been feeling under the weather with some serious health issues. Instead of wallowing in bed all day, I decided to play with my NATASHA DENONA - Eyeshadow Palette 5 in Peak. These colors are to die for, and they have quite a bit of versatility once you start playing around with them. And that blending power? *chef’s kiss* Also, I just started using Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara . I’ll be the first to tell you that I HATE waterproof mascara because I find it to be too abrasive, but this product gives you incredible volume and actually comes off with my regular cleanser!
Morning and night routine - suggestions?
Here is my AM and PM routine. My issues are mostly large pores and blackheads. I feel like my morning routine is missing something. We are trying for baby #2 soon so Retinoids and salicylic acids are out. Morning: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial CleanserI actually just started using this cleanser. Before this I was using Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser which I really liked, but the CeraVe had been recommended by so many I thought I would try it. pixi - Rose Tonic I like this toner. Not sure it is doing a whole lot for me. Thinking about trying fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Tonernext. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I really want to love this product and I am hoping with continued use I will see more results. I’m thinking of using this once a day instead of twice a day and maybe replacing it with something else. Maybe a vitamin C? CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream this has been working great on my dark puffy eyes. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I’ve been using this for a few weeks. It is okay. I don’t love the way it feels on my skin and will likely go back to Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer which I feel like was better for my skin. Sunscreens: I use CeraVe - Face Sheer Tint Hydrating Sunscreen SPF 30 on days when I am just at home. Unfortunately it does contain Salicylate which have been shown in animal studies to cause birth defects. So I will be discontinuing. MAYBELLINE - Dream Fresh BB Cream 8-In-1 Skin Perfector SPF 30 I use this during the week as a foundation because I have to wear a mask for a good portion of the day and it provides enough coverage without being too heavy. bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PM routine: Same as above accept I double cleanse with BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Marble Edition 2-3 times a week at night I use The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% I have only been using this for a few weeks, but it is one of the few products you can use for acne during pregnancy. 2x a week I use The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution My skin feels great after I use this. I have noticed much of a change yet. But I am hoping I will over time. 1x a week I use The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution My skin feels amazing after I use this. Unfortunately once we are pregnant I will have to stop using this one. Products I am planning to add: pmd - Clean Smart Facial Cleansing Deviceand pmd - Personal Microderm. These are both arriving in my Fall Welcome Causebox and I cannot wait to add them in! I’ll be able to continue to use both of these once we are pregnant and have heard great things about their effects on large pores.
Cute Video Call Makeup! #CheriePartner
With all that is going on in the world today we use FaceTime and Zoom more than ever to connect with people! Whether it be work or family we’re always using video! I say this a lot on my platform but I don’t really wear foundation much or anything of that sort so my video call looks are super simple. Today I’ll be showing you the tools I use to get this look! First I use Vaseline - Lip Therapy Rosy Lip Balm This is my all time fav lip balm to prep my lips before any gloss. I like the barrier it gives and leave my lips soft and smooth and it’s super cheap only like $1.50! After that I go in with my lip pencil from Style! I get this lip pencil from my local beauty store but any brown lip pencil will work. I outline my lips with it. I do this because I feel without some sort of lip liner my lips don’t stand out as much. Next I use my FENTY BEAUTY - Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set I got this set from my sister as a Christmas gift and I’m just now using all the glosses! My fav is Hot Chocolit and I use this a lot. I love the formula and the way it’s not sticky. It glides on beautifully and has a pretty shimmer ! This really makes it pop on video! I then take my moisturizer from TRADER JOE'S - Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer with Aloe & Green Tea Extracts i mix this with a couple drops of Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint in the shade G5 and apply on my face for super light coverage. I love the skin tint from Glossier because Its super light weight and The formula makes it buildable! And that’s all guys! I like to keep it simple and to the point! What’s your fav way to simplify your makeup look? BESOS 😘

AM Routine for Acne on the Mend
Lately my skin has been inflamed and an angry red basically outlining my mask. It has calmed down some after switching up my routine a bit and doing lots and lots of research combined with trial and error. Right now my morning routine includes the following steps and products to combat the irritation while also trying to prevent further flare ups: PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser My skin is very oily in the morning so I do like to use a gentle cleanser. I’ve been sticking with Peach and Lily’s cleanser since it doesn’t irritate or completely dry out my skin and overall I just love using it which helps with stressful mornings. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner Then I move Onto a toner step. When my skin really flared up (multiple cystic acne spots and the whole bit) I stuck to a gentle toner like, Benton - Deep Green Tea Toner , but since my skin has calmed down a bit I’ve added Glow Recipe’s toner with PHA and BHA to help with some of the enlarged pores around my nose and to help prevent future breakouts from mask wearing. íUNIK - Tea Tree Relief Serum This serum really seems to help with my red, irritated skin. I’ve been using it for over a month now and can see a marked difference. It contains centella Asiatica for soothing and calming and tea tree leaf water for helping with inflammation along with other helpful ingredients and no added fragrance. GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream To lock all the goodness of the previous products in I top it off with the banana soufflé moisturize cream. My face is super oily and I have a tough time finding moisturizers that don’t leave my face sticky feeling afterwards. This moisture cream leaves my face soft and silky feeling. It’s a fairly light cream and is the best replacement I’ve found for the neutrogena hydroboost gel cream so far. Centella asiatica is also an ingredient in this cream. It does smell like bananas, which personally I adore! Questions, comments, recommendations?? Thanks for reading ❤️
Glass Skin Kit (Ulta Only)
So I’ll start with explaining the glass skin concept. Glass skin is an Asian beauty standard of looking 100% poreless. Peach and Lily is Korean skin care line created by a Korean Dermatologist. She believes Americans use to many harsh products on our skin making it irritating and therefore more reactive and need to understand that gentle is powerful. The line is based on that idea. I’ll start this review with each product in the set. Note: if you have acne prone skin I highly recommend using mild acne medicine to balance out the oils of your skin otherwise this system will make you break out. But this is easily avoided by using salicylic acid after the face wash step but before the essence step. I also personally use a pore toner before the salicylic acid. Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser: This is the cheapest product in the line. If you want to make it last more than a month make sure to wet you’re face before applying it helps spread it out. It does not foam much so don’t expect it to. I purchase this step generally each month. It smells like peaches and chamomile and is very gentle, leaving my skin clean and soft. I swear you can both see and feel the clean. It has never dried out my skin and it never makes it red. Wild Dew Treatment Essence: This step is unique to Asian skin care. It’s ingredients include lotus, bamboo, radish leaf, eucalyptus leaf, etc. extracts with niacinamide. I recommended applying with cotton balls. It’s definitely an oil (though a mild one) so it drips out slowly. It smells really good but if you’re skin is currently irritated you might find it stings a little but it will indeed help. Otherwise it doesn’t sting. I purchase this step every 2 months. Glass Skin Refining Serum: The main component of this step is a peptic complex. It also contains peach extract, wild yam, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and madecassoside. It’s intention is to hydrate and firm skin without irritation. In fact that’s what this whole kit is meant to do. Because that how you get pores out of sight. I purchase this product every 2 1/2 months It’s kinda greasy feeling but also refreshing. As I mentioned in the above note this whole set will break out oily-combination skin types so consider mixing acne products with it or you will certainly break out. You need to balance out the oils on your skin if you want to keep it healthy. Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream: For oily-combination skin types use this sparingly. Very sparingly. A tiny smear has a powerful impact. I manage to make this stuff last 3 months at a time. But dryer skin types feel free to experiment. This cream is green as you would expect with matcha in the title. Matcha powder is known in Asia to brighten dull skin and give a healthy glow. It also has niacinamide and lilac extract in it. Although many creams feel heavy on your skin this one definitely does not and it’s does exactly what it promises-makes you bright and glowing. This line definitely made a difference.

Colourpop Gets It Right (Again)
TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N COLOURPOP - Grandeur Eyeshadow Palette These colors were easy to work with, wore well with little fall out, and beautiful to wear. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Out of Quart ( which Was fincky and didn’t give me the color I thought it would) layered under CLINIQUE - Cheek Pop Blush in Melon Pop which gives my cheeks a GLOW. Thanks Cherie for the rec!!!!! I wore too different lip colors in these pictures. In the first, I am wearing SIGMA - SIGMA BEAUTY Liquid Lipstick in Venom with COLOURPOP - Lux Gloss in Renaissance over. I thought this color was too deep and too matte for me but ymmv. In the second picture, I am wearing BECCA - Ultimate Lipstick Love in Ruby which wore so well and gave my face a glow even if it didn’t go with the rest of the look. In conclusion, I really like the Becca lipstick and the Colourpop palette but not together. I think I will wear the palette during the holiday dinner. It is that fantastic.
A Weekend Warm Toned Look For $
Some of the products mentioned here are pricey (the mascara for instance but they can easy be switched out for your favorite drugstore dupe). I’ve never done a warm toned look before so feedback is appreciated! Too Faced - Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer Moving on TULA SKINCARE - Smoothing Primer Gel UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation in T1N. COLOURPOP - Nude Mood Eyeshadow Palette The palette is a great starter/basic palette. The pigments were intense, creamy and easy to work with. I will definitely be using this palette often this falll/winter. Plus, thanks to points, I only paid 4 dollars for it. I would rec this palette especially to anyone whose nieces or nephews were just getting into makeup. It would make a great present for them. PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG Makeup. MAKEUP BY MARIO - Master Mattes Brightening Eye Pencil I melted the tip by warming it between my fingers and it definitely helped with brightening my eyes. It took a while to get the angle right but once I did, it applied without tugging. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. If you don’t own this lit from within bronzer, run to ulta and pick it up. I got it for 50% off. Best 7.50 I ever spent on makeup. COLOURPOP - Lux Velvet Liquid Lip in Fatale. This performed beyond my expectations. It applied smoothly and stayed in place once applied. It is a little drying but the color is gorgeous and for $8 it is hard to complain about that. I love this formula and look forward to buying more colors in this formula.

Low lighting in my room, but wow! This foundation just sits perfect on my skin! Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation I like how this foundation is buildable. It blends perfectly. Not cakey at all. It’s a smooth flawless finish. Easy to apply✅ Easy to blend ✅ Great shade range✅ it Cosmetics - Brow Power Micro Universal Defining Eyebrow Pencil I do really like this eyebrow pencil. I like how the other end has a spoolie to help complete the look. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Best mascara I’ve ever used. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer My go to concealer. Works like a charm.
Drug store makeup dupes 🚨
I came across a run down on Cremes Come True blog about drug store dupes of high end products. I’m a lover of beautiful makeup products but I’ve been on a tighter than usual budget recently so decided I’d work my way through each of the dupe products, try them and review them for you guys since drug store products have come so far in the last few years. The products Cremes Come True compared are: PRIMER High End — TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer Drug Store — e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer FOUNDATION High End — Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation Drug Store — MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation CONCEALER High End — tarte - Shape Tape Concealer Drug Store — MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer BLUSH High End — Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color Drug Store — MAYBELLINE - Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush HIGHLIGHTER High End — rms beauty - Luminizer X Quad Drug Store — e.l.f. - Shimmer Palette MASCARA High End — Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara Drug Store — L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara LIPSTICK High End — ARMANI beauty - Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick Drug Store — L'ORÉAL - Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick Make sure you follow me and keep an eye out for incoming reviews on the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer and Maybelline Cheek Heat cream blush which I’ve been trying out over the last couple weeks 🥰 Next on my list to try are the L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara (since Too Faced BTS is one of my favourite mascaras!) and e.l.f. Shimmer Palette. Have you tried any of these products and did you love them or were you not a fan?
Sometimes you love mascara but it betrays you!!!
VISEART - Midsommer Petit Pro Eyeshadow Palette I really like this little palette. I plan to buy more from this brand but even with the fallout because I forgot to use primer, the shadows were soft and easy to work with. They had great intensity and built well. Even the mattes had a nice flair. WANDER BEAUTY - Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara I hated this mascara intensely. Intensely. Thank heavens I got it free in my Allure Beauty Box though I am considering suing them for emotional damages. Best of Beauty my eyebrows that haven’t haven’t been waxed in 4 weeks. What is the point of a gentle mascara? No! Mother Pat understands that the point of mascara is to enhance lashes not to give me the lashes of a schoolgirl or boy in a BBC period piece set in 1923 London. I want Freddie Mercury lashes. I want Angelina Jolie on a red carpet lashes. I do not want to spend 24 dollars to have lashes so that three coats of mascara means you can see my lashes with a microscope. I have already reordered my beloved Mile High Mascara for days when Dark Star is a leetle too much. Okay, I have a lot of feelings about mascara. bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in Opal. I think I want something for the winter with a bit more coverage and am pretty sure I am going with UOMA because it truly does feel like I am wearing nothing. It was humid in the house though and I had the worst time getting the tinted moisturizer to set. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer This did a pretty good job reducing the appearance of a huge blemish but the shade is NOT right (12N). I think I need to go one shade deeper if people who burn after 20 minutes in the sun can be described, in any way, as ‘deeper’. Beauty Bakerie - Face Flour Baking Powder in Oat. This continues to be a Holy Grail product for me. It is perfectly mattifying. Plus no fragrance! PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Rosé All Day Petal Glow in Petal Pink. This was a little bronzier than I was expecting and way more glowy. Next time I will wear it with a gloss. I think the application processes will be a learning curve. ILIA - Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil in Tahiti. A Holy Grail product that needs two coats and I forgot to put on one. Oh well. We can’t all be pro makeup artistes! I have been sick for about a week and I can’t express how glad I am to be back! I missed you all!!!
Current fave mascaras ✨
These are some mascaras that I’ve been using since summer and have really enjoyed! All of these mascaras haven’t smudged on me and make my lower lashes look super pretty and evenly spaced without looking spidery. A mascara I didn’t know I was going to love is the wander beauty unleashed volume and curl mascara. The wand is curled a bit on the end and hugs my lashes whenever I apply this. I got this mascara in my September allure beauty box. It’s the mascara I’ve used almost everyday. $24! Pretty expensive. WANDER BEAUTY - Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara Glossier lash stick, I got this mascara in a set. The wand has perfectly spaced bristles and it doesn’t have too much product on it so I know I won’t be able to waste anything. Makes my lashes long and coats them eventually. $16! Not horribly expensive but up there in price. Glossier. - Lash Slick Mascara Benefit roller lash, I’ve been using this for years and it’s still one of my faves. The wand is slightly curved in the middle. Coats all my lashes evenly and doesn’t smudge. $25 and $13 for the small size. Pretty expensive benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara Clinique high impact mascara, the bristles are a bit thicker but still doesn’t smudge my lashes. These make my lashes look thicker and longer. $20, pretty expensive CLINIQUE - High Impact Mascara Tarte lights, camera, lashes, this wand is slightly smaller and these make my lashes curly. Makes them appear thicker and long too! $23 pretty expensive! tarte - Sugar Rush Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara
COLORPOP Pretty Fresh Foundation ❤️
#COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation[products]#[FiveStars] I have been EAGERLY waiting ALL day to post this review!!! I wanted to really get a good test on this foundation so 9 hours later.... 🥁 roll please!!! 🤗 ABOUT THE PRODUCTℹ️ COST: $16.99 @ ULTA Foundation with medium but build-able coverage. Contains Hyaluronic Acid 🌟 for a skin perfecting , natural finish that also helps keep your skin healthy, and hydrated 💦WHAT?!? Yes 😳 craziness! Also contains coconut 🥥 water 💧 to support even MORE hydration and skin softness. Always prep with clean 🧼 face and normal skin care routine. Prep with a primer and says to use a beauty blender. For ALL skin types!!!🤗 MY EXPERIENCE ❤️🤗 Ok friends! I am NOT a foundation wearing human. At least not in the regular. I save it for SPECIAL occasions because my skin does not like it otherwise. AKA angry 😡 breakouts and clogged pores even with primers. Let’s begin with why I am in love! Upon application I found the liquid to be quite loose, it doesn’t hold a pile shape long before spreading out. Using a beauty blender I applied it to my face. At first it seemed a little yellow from my skin but after everything was set it looked WAY more natural and crazy super close to my skin tone! Which is crazy considering how I picked it. ℹ️⚠️ Side Note 📝 I used Ulta’s virtual try on tool!!!! Had to test it multiple times to be certain and if you are not standing in bright natural light 💡 it will not be correct. But dang! I ordered this foundation in LIGHT 50W and it’s perfect for me. How my skin feels??? From the time I put it on to now, I don’t really feel the makeup on my face. I normally feel my skin screaming to be cleaned 🧼! But this is VERY easy to wear. I have dry skin so that says a lot. I don’t feel clogged or dry. And I did not notice any oxidation with this foundation, which is from the Hyaluronic Acid I am sure. I honestly still feel flawless even after cleaning house 🏡 bathing my kids! I can tell I am wearing foundation when I look in the mirror but I didn’t notice much of, or any caking as the day went on. And my skin feels soft like as if I was not wearing makeup at all which I really love! ❤️❤️❤️ Also I did not use ANY concealer in this look except for eyelids. I just lightly baked under my eyes and that was it. Super impressed with how well the coverage is! Specially on my under eye darkness. Definitely will buy this again! Easy on the budget and the skin! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ⚠️🤗Second pic is the 9 hr later result! ❤️
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
✨What are the claims? It is an award winning concealer that corrects, contours, highlights & perfects up to 16 hours. It is medium coverage liquid concealer with a natural finish. It is for all skin types. ✨Texture/Consistency? It is a cream consistency! ✨My thoughts? I really enjoy this product! I use shade Chantilly, and it works perfect for my skin tone. I use it to spot conceal & spot correct all over! It is a matte/creamy finish in my opinion and I really like it. It dries fast but isn’t too drying for my sensitive dry skin. I’ve used this on & off for 5 years and I love this formula! I love the deeper shades to contour as well. ✨Price Vs size? It is $30 USD for .22 oz so not a lot of product, but it has lasted me atleast 3 months at a time! So I would say it’s worth it! NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer

What’s your favorite foundation?
Hi, I’m currently on the hunt to find a nice light weight foundation, preferably vegan or Cruelty-free. My issue is I have dry and fairly sensitive skin, so coconut products make my face break out in hives. Any form of coconut products. And heavy weight foundations dry up on my face. If you have any suggests please let me know of a vegan or Cruelty-free light weight contains zero coconut Foundation or skin tint, thank you very much to any one that helps! *I mentioned the coconut products because every vegan or cruelty free foundation I’ve bought or tried contains coconut milk, or coconut extract. P.s. It does not have to be vegan, any suggestions help! Thank you
Super easy video call makeup!
Like a lot of others, I’ve been working remotely since March. One thing I love about working from home is that it’s really allowed me to simplify my makeup routine, and now that I’m used to wearing less makeup, I think it’ll stay that way even when the world gets back to normal. These handful of products are the core of my everyday makeup, and they help me look awake and put together on my daily zoom calls. Kosas - Tinted Face Oil Foundation I stopped wearing heavy, medium/full coverage foundation when I found this product. It helps that my acne has gotten a lot better, which means I’m comfortable with less coverage. This gives me such a grey finish and wears beautifully throughout the day. Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer This concealer brightens up my under eyes and covers any blemishes or dark marks I’m dealing with. A little goes a LONG way, and I love how creamy and nourishing it is. I did have to get a shade lighter than the tinted face oil though, so be warned. Kosas - Color & Light: Cream Blush & Highlighter Duo I looooove this blush and will stand by it til I die. Like the face oil and concealer, it gives me such a glowy/dewy look and the pigment stays put. Kosas - Kosasport Lipfuel One of my favorite tinted balms! I love the hyaluronic acid and mint oil—they make my lips feel so hydrated and fresh. The color is just enough without looking overdone. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara This does tend to flake a little by the end of the day, but I love how much volume and length it adds to my lashes. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel Lastly, this brow gel is the product that made me stop filling in my brows with pomade every day. I had never tried a brow gel before that could give me just enough of a filled-in look, and somehow this one makes my sparse brows look amazing. Does anyone else have go-to products for video meetings? #CheriePartner

PROFUSION for the win, baby😍
GUYS! Let me tell you, I have found a gem! Profusion, an adorable brand found at Walmart and sometimes Target, has launched a foundation that is to die for. I picked this bad boy up at Walmart for under 7 bucks. It’s a new launch and I haven’t seen it at Target yet. Let’s get to the good stuff: Coverage: So this claims to be a medium to full coverage foundation and it definitely is. I’d say it leans more on the full coverage side, especially when applied with a brush. Anticipate more of medium coverage with a sponge. Either way, this covered my redness and acne/ acne scars very well! Finish: This is described as a satin finish. I have very dry skin so it definitely is satin on me. I can get it to look dewy (which I prefer) by using the right primer and products underneath. I can’t speak on how this would look on oily skin, but I would assume it would look satin or a bit dewy. I think it would tone down nicely with a setting powder if you chose. Also, I had no issues with this oxidizing or anything like that. Longevity: This lasted wonderfully on me. Even as it started to inevitably break down a little by the end of the day, it was graceful. Even my lower face, where my mask is worn, looked nice. Again, set with powder to make this last longer if you need to. Packaging: This sucker is pretty! The packaging is super sleek and has rose gold accents. It reminds me of a high end foundation. It’s a squeeze type bottle (which is handy and sanitary). Ingredients: This gem has hyaluronic acid in it which is amazing for all skin types but especially us dry skinned girl’s! It also has SPF 15 in it. MOST IMPORTANTLY.....IT’S 100% CRUELTY FREE AND VEGAN !!!!😀😀 Now onto the not so pleasant things: It has slight fragrance. I do not like fragrance in my skin care or makeup. It’s usually a deal breaker for me but I will make an exception for this foundation. It’s not strong and disappears once you apply it, but I still could do without it. The shade range is laughable. No inclusivity with this foundation which really disappointed me. The website says there are 12 shades. Most of them are beige with different undertones(warm yellow, neutral, etc). I am not happy with this shade range whatsoever and I hope it expands so that we can all have a shade. I don’t know why companies even bother launching foundations if they aren’t going to include all skin tones. So, despite the shade range being absolutely horrid, I am really liking this foundation so far. It might become a HG for me. I would look for this at Walmart since Target doesn’t seem to carry it yet. If you can’t find it at Walmart, I’d suggest looking on the Profusion website. They have free shipping after you spend a certain amount too. Best $7 I have spent in a long time!😁
✨Good Foundation for Acne✨
I have typically oily skin that gets the occasional breakout and dry spot, but has been extra dry due to recent fluctuations in temperature here in TX. This can been seen in the close up pics of my foundation, but wanted to show how the foundation looked after a day of wear, so please be kind 😥 I also know this is a summer color, so it’s def not my shade right now either 😅😝 the purpose of this medium-to-full coverage foundation is to give the skin a matte finish! The fourth through sixth pictures are of my makeup freshly applied, while the seventh through ninth pictures are of my makeup after 8 hours of wear. It was raining today and did have to walk through it, but it wasn’t too bad. My nose was also really runny since my body has been rundown due to the weather and causing my allergies to act up. It did hold up around the sides of my cheeks, where my acne scars are, and it’s bad oily around my forehead and nose (where I typically get oily; I didn’t touch up my makeup at all). I got this whenever it came out in fall 2018 because my skin was very oily and nothing could contain the grease. The applicator of this is also really neat, I love this! It’s so easy to pinpoint the area where you want or need extra coverage. There are also a variety of shades and undertones so it’s easy to find a match! I think this was reformulated into the Tarte Shape Tape foundation and they just got rid of the matte and hydrating versions and just made one. This definitely keeps me matte the whole day. I don’t have any problems with oils peaking through and know I can count on this when I need a foundation that lasts all day. This also can be built up to a very high coverage and conceals my acne scars easily, while also not looking mask-like and still looks nice and natural. It does cling to dry spots, but usually acne-prone skin is oily. I loved this product whenever I had acne and oily skin, it easily covered blemishes (current and recovering ones) and kept me matte throughout the whole day, no matter what I did. I would definitely recommend this to those with acne or oily skin! I think this is worth the price and effort it takes to blend it out (work in small sections though, it does dry fast)! #Tarte - Double Duty Beauty[products]#[FourStars] Price: $39 for 1.01 oz Rating: 4/5
