Product claims VS My thoughts

mrsmegandavisThere are a lot of these so called “sensitive skin” products...they make a lot of claims. After doing heavy research with reviews and ingredients, I find 95% are full of bologna. Get back to basics and keep it simple. Have you looked in to LaRoche-Posay?

Caudalie gifted me all three of these products which are actually being sold in a set right now at Sephora if you’d like to check them out!! First of all, I have honestly enjoyed using each of there products, which is why they’re all starred highly! CAUDALIE - Instant Foaming Cleanser This cleanser is great! The foaming texture is really nice and feels awesome on the skin! It really seems to do a nice job at removing the remaining makeup from my face! It smells amazing too! CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Intense Moisturizing Cream The moisturizing cream is extremely hydrating! I have naturally dry skin so this has been great at keeping my skin soft and supple! A little of this goes a long way! CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum This is an awesome hydrating serum! I use this morning and night and only need one pump each time, so this would last you forever!
Go-to hydrating serum since forever!
I don't remember a time when I didn't use the CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum . It is by far my favorite hydrating serum of all times. The formula is thin enough to be absorbed completely by the skin but thick enough to leave you feeling calm and hydrated. Great for those days when you need some deeper hydration or extra TLC. I also think this serum has a very mild brightening effect on my skin, which I don't mind at all. I absolutely love this stuff. I have gone through numerous bottles of it, and I always have a backup in my stash just in case it runs out. For a stronger brightening effect, I love to pair the serum with the CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Instant Brightening Moisturizer . Lighter than other Caudalie moisturizers I've used but equally great. I have really dry skin, and I wouldn't use this during the colder months but it's perfect during the summer.
My latest additions to essence collection
Have I become a fan of Essences? Definitely yes. They add more moisture and help absorb other layers better. My latest additions to essence collection: ▪️ 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗜 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖 Four Seasons bio enzyme essence with caviar, HA, niacinamide, trehalose, amino acids, kakadu plum, lemon enzymes and other botanicals. Made in Australia from purest Aussie ingredients, this essence as potent as serum, lightweight, fast absorbing with light natural scent. It doesn’t make skin greasy or oily, just plumped, hydrated, soft, smooth and bright. It does everything I expect from essence and I am so happy with this product. You can use it alone as a serum for oily skin or layer with other serums, it works great both ways. ▪️ 𝗖𝗜𝗥𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟 Dew Perfector with witch hazel, arnica, camphor, amino acids and aloe. This is rather toner than essence, and I use it as a toner with cotton pad. This toner hydrates, minimize pores without drying skin, and makes skin tone more even. It feels a bit oily first minutes but helps to keeps my pores and overall oiliness under control. It is suitable for all skin types, even dry and sensitive, but personally I cannot recommend it for sensitive skin because of camphor. And it foams a bit (swipe for a photo):(
Camo Drops=Better than Foundation
I am in love with the Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Camo Drops SPF 44 I don’t wear makeup, so I love skincare/makeup hybrids. This product is a liquid consistency that blends from a green tinted color to a beige/neutral tone, and you can see the color change in my video! I use this as the last step in my skincare routine. This feels like nothing once it’s rubbed into my skin, yet it gives such a good dose of redness reduction. I would def recommend this to a friend, as it makes me feel really confident about my skin on days when it’s not looking its best! These are $46, and I think they’re worth the price because I only need a tiny about to cover my whole face, AND they include SPF 44. I can’t pass up this product because it has SPF, skincare ingredients that improve sensitive skin, and cosmetic ingredients that block redness. I give this a 5/5 ⭐️ rating for my skin, but I don’t know how this would work for deeper skin types. What do you think of camo drops?!

Polaar Eclat Boreal Northern Light Collection Smoothing Fluid with Siberian Olive Review . In a few words it’s a beautiful light serum/moisturiser with an amazing smell (all of their things that I have tried smell gorgeous, I always get excited by the smell of their products ). I use it as my morning serum or a light moisturiser depending on what my skin wants in the morning. The key ingredient is the Siberian Olive, which has super-regenerative brimming 108 bio-active elements and containing 30 times more Vitamin C than an orange. Also this serum/ Light moisturiser includes natural salicylic acid which in combination helps to refine skin texture, even out skin tone and make skin radiant. I would say it’s actually does all of those things. I personally use it every other morning, as I prefer to keep things exciting and not overdo with active ingredients. I would advice that if you have sensitive skin/rosacea be careful with active acids and Vit C. I just wanted to say that you probably see a lot of their products in my feed, it’s really because they are amazing for my skin.
I've been using this serum from purito for about 2 months now, so it's about time for the review! 🍃Key ingredients: Centella Asiatica Extract (49%), Niacinamide, Collagen, Ceramides (all ingredients EWG safe, with rating 1-2) 🍃Consistency and scent: kind of liquified gel or clear syrupy texture with slippery feeling. Absorbs quickly and the pump makes it easy to dispense the product. I don't quite like this herbal scent, but it's not too overwhelming. 🍃Performance: I can't say I love this serum, but I also can't say I don't like it. I have mixed feelings. At the beginning, I really liked it. It was hydrating, felt refreshing on the skin, calmed the redness a bit and soothed my skin. But at some point, it just stopped working and I have no idea why. I don't see any significant skin improvement while using it now and I feel like it does barely anything for my skin. When my skin is acting up, it doesn't help too much. I use it mostly at night because make up doesn't sit very well on top of this serum. I love centella as an ingredient and I wanted to see this calming, healing and soothing effect, but unfortunately I don't. I know many people love this serum, but for me it worked well only at the beginning. Overall I think this product is not bad but I don't find it outstanding. Not sure why my skin suddenly stopped reacting to this serum. I love the sunscreen from this line but the serum I probably wouldn't repurchase.
Everyone needs a gentle hydrating multi-tasking serum in his or her arsenal and the wowyou SuperSerum is a great choice. It promises to defend against pollution and acne, repair damage, brighten and hydrate. The ingredients are natural and wholesome, some of the key ones include: * Rosehip oil which regenerates and nourishes skin with omegas 3, 6 and 9 . * Antibacterial and anti inflammatory blueberry helps prevent acne and calms skin. * Antioxidant rich Green Tea and Centella Asiatica slay free radicals * Hyaluronic acid for hydration, helping to plump and smooth. The formula is a lightweight gel that absorbs well without any stickiness. It has a pleasant floral scent and is vegan, hypoallergenic and cruelty free. I appreciate that it is instantly soothing and hydrating to the point that oilier skin types may not even need to follow up with a moisturizer. I also think the price is noteworthy, at $31CDN for 30ml it is accessible and outperforms other pricier hydrating serums!
Overall, I can easily say that these products from loli are very effective. They are all food grade, which means that the ingredients are edible and contain less than 0.1% bacteria as compared to up to 30% bacteria in cosmetic grade ingredients! Not only are the safe and effective, but they are so unique. I have never come across another brand like LOLI. I will continue using their products and supporting this brand because I feel like they have serious potential! 🙌🏻 🔹Plum Elixir - You can use it for your skin OR hair! This stuff is perfect for normal to dry skin. It contains Tea Seed Oil, Sea Buckthorn, Pomegranate, and Plum Seed. It is considered to be a “base” in their collection which can be combined/mixed in with a variety of their products to create masks, cleansers, moisturizers, etc. (or just use it on its own). I have been combining several drop of this with two drops of their Prickly Pear Seed Oil and applying it to my face for moisture. ✨ 🔹Prickly Pear Seed - It comes from the prickly pear cactus plant which contains fatty acids and plenty of vitamin E to protect against daily stress. It is considered to be one of their “mix-ins”. This means you can add a few drops of this to create a mixture with any of their bases or other mix-ins. It is perfect for any skin type. It soothes, nourished, and revitalizes the skin and hair! 🌱 🔹Purple Corn Grains (base) - contains purple corn, pomegranate, almond flower, kaolin, orange peel, hibiscus, yucca root powder, and rice starch. It’s good for flaky skin or skin prone to breakouts! It can be mixed with a variety of their products to create masks and cleansers (or you can do what I have been doing and just add water to create a nice Exfoliator). 💕
