Here are my thoughts of some stuff from Herbal Dynamics
Here are my thoughts of some stuff from Herbal Dynamics Beauty 〰️ Vitamin K & green tea brightening eye cream This is a lovely eye cream and I enjoyed using it. This goes on really nice, absorbs quickly but I haven’t seen any drastic brightening effects yet. 〰️ Black rose & damask rose concentrated face balm This contains key ingredients like damask rose oil + wax, black rose extract and shea butter but I’ll be honest - I didn’t particularly enjoy this for my face. I felt like this didn’t fully absorb in and it just kinda sat on top of my skin. However, I have been using this on any dry areas on my neck and my body and I do feel like it deeply hydrates and heals any dry patches I have since I do suffer from eczema. 〰️ Cacao & chamomile clearing clay mask Oh my goodness, this smells straight up like chocolate goodness every time I open the tub and I just wanna eat it! Application for this is really nice - spreads easily, dries down pretty quickly and rinses off well. This mask has made my skin smoother and my pores look so clean after I rinse this off. The only con to this though is that the sulfur in this really stings my eyes so I have to be mindful to really avoid my whole eye area quite a bit.

No roses for you!
The products pictured is Herbal Dynamics Beauty Black Rose and Damask concentrated face balm. There is an actual reason why i typed out the whole name of the product. When I read face balm, I was imagining something along the lines of Lush’s Ultrabland. An oil based cleanser which is great for make up removal. They’re pretty much identical in texture. However, the balm is actually a day and night moisturizer. So as much as I know that it is my fault for not reading the label, I feel like the product should have “moisturizer” or “salve” in the name, since that is it’s interned purpose. The name of the product is not my only issue, as there is something more major. My boyfriend is obsessed with Ultrabland so I wanted him to try this product out. He tried it once, everything was fine. It’s important to note that he rubbed the product in and then washed it off. We were going out that day and I noticed that there were wet spots on his face but I brushed it off. I thought maybe he didn’t rub in his actual moisturizer well into his skin. The next day he used the product again, once again, washing it all off. And holy sh*t, did all hell break loose. His face started burning immediately, and not just the sensation, it was painfully red. His face was burning so much that it started overproducing sebum (the wet spot from before) and it just all looked so bizarre. There was literally a burn on his face, and HE WASHED OFF THE PRODUCT. While my boyfriend does have sensitive skin, I have used chemical peels on him before and he was perfectly fine. But having this balm on his face for 1 minute left him with a literal burn. I’m not sure what in the ingredient list could have done this, but my mind does go to the essential oils. Needless to say that he no longer lets me recommend products to him lol. Herbal Dynamics Beauty - BLACK ROSE & DAMASK ROSE CONCENTRATED FACE BALM
Black Rose & Damask Rose Concentrated Balm
This product is a face balm that hydrates and softens fine lines as well as gives a plump and smooth appearance. It contains concentrated ingredients that help to nourish and promote healthy skin over time. This product is great for those who have very dry areas that need extra hydration. The texture of this face balm is super thick but provides intense hydration. I really like this product as it has really helped be during the winter as I get super dry skin! It is super hydrating and helps prevent my skin from getting flaky. I would recommend this product to those who are looking for something to help target dry skin! This product currently retails for $24 on Herbal Dynamics Beauty.

Maskne causing your crazy breakouts?
Here's a few of my favorite Detox Clay Masks They have legit saved my skin from going crazy during this Maskne issue which majority of us are suffering. But I usually steam my face after double cleansing (I CAN ASSURE YOU steaming helps so much with breakouts. You can buy one off amazon for $20 and it's such a steal. Let me know if you'd like the link to the one I have!) Anyways.. I throw on any of these detox masks following up with a solid PM routine. I usually double cleanse during PM because all the dirt, make up and sunscreen need to tackled down by my all time fave cleansing balm FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm HONEST - 3-in-1 Detox Mud Mask Herbal Dynamics Beauty - CACAO & CHAMOMILE CLEARING CLAY MASK • GENERATION CLAY PURIFYING DETOX CLAY MASK Will be posting up my maskne products and photos soon for reference!!
My Wash Off Mask Collection
I’ve accumulated quite the wash off mask collection! Now, this isn’t 100% complete because I have 2 more not shown here, but I’ve only used those a few times so can’t review just yet. Curious which ones I like and which ones I don’t? Keep reading! bliss - Mint Chip Mania Mask is a fun, minty-scented, whipped, cooling mask with little shea butter “chips”. Apply and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Per the directions, when you remove it, massage the mask so the “chips” melt down and add a boost of moisture to your skin. I love using this mask right out of the shower or bath because it is cooling. Provides some moisture. Would repurchase. Retails for about $15-17 and is available at some drugstores, Target, Ulta, and the brand’s website. SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask and SUMMER FRIDAYS - Overtime Mask I’ve reviewed both of these on Cherie and IG. They’re pricey, but I think they’re worth it. They both smell great (R+R like rose petals, Overtime like pumpkin spice), exfoliate, nourish, and leave my skin feeling baby soft in about 10 min. R+R is $52 for a full size, and Overtime is $44. Both of mine are minis because they came in a holiday value set. LUSH - Mask Of Magnaminty I reviewed on Cherie a long time ago. It smells delish! Even more minty and chocolate-y than the Bliss mask. I love the scrubby aduki beans, deep-cleaning kaolin clay, and soothing honey. Leaves my face feeling so clean and refreshed. $14.95 for 4.4oz, and available in larger sizes from Lush. Herbal Dynamics Beauty - CACAO & CHAMOMILE CLEARING CLAY MASK is a dud for me. It was sent to my by the brand at my choosing because I saw soooo many positive reviews. It has great ingredients, like cacao, chamomile, lavender, clay, and salicylic acid. It smells like chocolate and lavender. Unfortunately, this mask really irritates my skin (redness, burning) and causes my eyes to water profusely. I’ve used it as a full face mask and a spot treatment 2x. Saw no positive effects - I broke out! I’m going to pass this along to one of my sisters since it’s basically full. $24. Would not recommend. Zion Health - Seaweed Clay Mask and Zion Health - Hydrating Mango Clay Mask are newer to my collection. I’m actually not huge on clay masks because they tend to irritate my skin, but these ones are pretty mild and don’t dry down into a hard shell that’s impossible to remove. They were sent to my by the brand. Both of these are aimed at gently detoxing the skin while renewing and (the mango one) hydrating. Neither really have a scent. Both are very thick and easily removed with a warm, damp cloth. My skin is left feeling refreshed and a bit nourished (the mango one because it contains shea butter, not seaweed). They’re around $20 ea. and have a ton of product inside, so I would recommend! I recently finished up a couple vitamin C masks, too!

Dark Circles & Dry Eyes - even if your sensitive
Do you suffer from DARK CIRCLES??? Treating them can be tricky as many things can cause them, such as diet, lifestyle, internal health, and genetics. . A quick fix is under eye concealer to instantly brighten them up. I also recommend going to a DR. To ensure there isn’t something going on internally, like liver disfunction or another health risk diseases. . In terms of skincare, an eye cream with Vitamin K, can also be a good option. Vitamin K is said to improve bruises, cuts, wounds, stretch marks and dark circles by increasing blood flow to the area. This ingredient can work well if your dark circles are from blood pooling under the eyes. . It’s no secret i’m a fan of Herbal Dynamics Beauty eye creams, and they make one with Vitamin K that is perfect for dry eyes and dark circles. Pictured here is the Vivid Revival Vitamin K Contouring Eye Cream. It retails for $22. It is more hydrating then the cucumber eye cream in my opinion, but still not too heavy. There is no smell, and it does have a beautiful yellow color to it. It felt really nice on my eyes. I’m lucky that I do not suffer from dark circles, so my favorite is still the Cucumber Eye Cream...but if I had dark circles, this one would probably work better for me 😊 Herbal Dynamics Beauty - VITAMIN K & GREEN TEA BRIGHTENING EYE CREAM Herbal Dynamics Beauty - CLEAN & CALM CUCUMBER COOLING EYE CREAM . Vascular Dark Circles VS Pigment Dark Circles
The result of various factors, dark circles are a very common beauty problem among women in particular. They appear as a darker color and/or puffiness around the lower eyelid. We often talk about tiredness or stress, but these are not the only causes of dark circles. Most options available are a “one size fits all” type treatment not taking into consideration what type of Dark Circles you have. Until I actually did my research, is when I discovered what type I have and what ingredients work for it, and that most Eye Creams don’t specify which will work for which. So I wanted to share with you So I have Vascular Dark Circles. these type of dark circles that have a blueish hue due to Dilated blood vessels that sit close to the thin under-eye skin. The skin under your eyes is the thinnest skin on your entire body, and as we age the skin can become thinner. Dehydration, not getting enough sleep etc can cause blood to pool in the vessels under the skin, which can worsen their appearance. These types of dark circles usually occur to people who have a more fair skinned complexion. The top of ingredient that have helped me the most is Vitamin K. Vitamin K helps with blood coagulation and circulation. So using an eye cream with Vitamin k increases circulation and reduces the appearance of dark circles. In searching for Eye Creams with Vitamin K, there isn’t a bunch of products available compared to the amount of eye creams on the market, which confuses me since this ingredient is proven. Other good ingredients to use are Caffeine, Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Arnica and Retinol. So I use a Vitamin K eye cream in the AM and at night I use a Retinol cream, because Retinol not only helps with fine lines and wrinkles but it also stimulates collagen production, to help with the thin skin under the eye. The second type which is the Pigmented Dark Circles or hereditary/genetic dark circles due to excess pigmentation in the skin and usually effects people with a more darker complexion. Sun exposure can make them appear darker, as well as rubbing your eyes can worsen them. These type of dark circles you’ve had or noticed since a young age. Since the skin is actually darker you need ingredients to actually lighten the skin color itself. In order for your dark circles to gradually produce less pigment and not become darker overtime is to use certain lightening products, which have ingredients like hydroquinone acid, kojic acid and Vitamin C. Kojic acid can help make hereditary dark under-eye circles less noticeable by blocking the production of melanin (the substance that gives the skin its color) Retinol can also help as well. A more severe option like Laser treatments also help. It’s important to know that both types you can never really get rid off, but you can treat them with certain ingredients to make them better and to prevent them from worsening. Nature Republic Sheet Mask Review
I have gone through several of these Nature Repulic sheet masks. We live pretty close to Hmart and inside they have this little K-beauty boutique and so my mom and I always stock up on these when we run out. They are pretty affordable and sometimes are on sale for BOGO or $10 for 10. My favorite ones are the Real Nature Mask Sheet in Royal Jelly (the honey one). The Royal jelly is a honey bee secretion that is used apparently in providing nutrition to bee larvae and for queen bees. The benefits for us (putting it on our face) is nourishment and an improvement in skin texture. It is said to make the skin plump and hydrated and aid with wrinkle prevention. Sounds good to me! The royal jelly used in this mask is gathered from Kang-won province from Korea, which is apparently famous for bee farming. I didn’t know that. I only knew that Kang-won province was famous for their seafoods LOL. The cotton on this sheet mask wraps so nicely on the face and remains on there until I remove it off. I can walk around and do other things with this mask on which is a huge plus because I can multi-task while masking. It really leaves my face plump and very well hydrated. It definitely is worth to try because the mask is deeply saturated with the essence. It also has enough essence left in the pouch to use on my arms and legs. 5/5 from me. So affordable, so good. Patchology duo Restoring Night CloudMasque™ ☁️ The 🔑 ingredients in this sleeping mask are hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin and help improve elasticity, retinol to help with cell turnover, and peptide complexes to reduce fine lines and crow’s feet. This mask meant to restore the skin’s moisture levels overnight, and that it does. The first couple times I used this guy, it did take a long while to sink into my skin - even with my facial roller, it was a struggle. After all was said and done, though, I had no heavy or greasy feeling of the mask on my face, and it ended up sinking in very nicely. I did break out after a few days of using this, but I’m not 100% blaming the product, and I haven’t been scared away from using this. Maybe I was just due for some breakouts? 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway, I can definitely attest to this mask keeping my skin hydrated well into the morning, and for that reason and its whipped, dreamy, luxurious consistency, I can confidently say this is a good product. 🌙 FlashPatch® Restoring Night Eye Gels The 🔑 ingredients in these eye patches are retinol to speed cell turnover, cedrus atlantica bark to brighten and reduce dark circles, peptide complexes to reduce fine lines and crow’s feet, arnica and cucumber extract to reduce puffiness and inflammation, and squalane to hydrate, soften and protect from free radicals. These are supposed to provide one with a brighter, more youthful-looking eye area. I’m sad to say it, but I didn’t really see huge results with these 😕 I just didn’t notice anything different to my eye area the next morning (I left these on overnight). To be fair, I’ve only used 2 sets of eye patches, so these are first impressions - and, I always struggle to gauge how eye products work for me. I’m not giving up on these and will be reporting back! I love Patchology and their products and will definitely continue to purchase from the brand.

I wanted to share about the brand Pink Beauty Organic Skincare created by the beautiful Christals Makeup I recently discovered. I ordered the Pink potion pore zapper, which is now called pink potion pore refiner. It's a combo of Rosewater, Himalayan sea salt & witch hazel designed to decrease sebum production & balance it out. I also ordered the whipped kokum butter under eye cream in the smaller size, which is fantastic it smells so good, it's lightweight and feels really hydrating under my eyes. The last item I got was the 1 oz. of the matcha exfoliating detox mud mask. This mask smells amazing again, another lovely product it's made with organic chinese matcha. Feels so refreshing on the skin, I loved having this mask on, it was such a treat. The rosy cheeks cream cleanser is such a gentle hydrating cleanser, smells so fresh and light. Not harsh at all on the skin. I LOVED how gentle the kokum butter microdermabrasion scrub was on the skin. It has a lovely scent to it. I wasn't aware of how great kokum butter was in your skincare. It has antibacterial , anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties that make it ideal for damaged skin. Kokum butter is especially a great alternative for those with sensitive skin. Its ability to rejuvenate damaged skin cells is a killer way to combat wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots. It is also non-comodegenic so it will not clog the pores. Her scrubs and creams come in three sizes which I feel like is so convenient and handy. I definitely recommend checking her products out if your on the market for all natural organic skincare at an affordable price point. ♥️
P!nk Beauty Organic Skincare-Matcha & Moringa Exfoliating Face Mask
Lil pink and green action for your feeds today! Kiehls creamy avocado is the best night time eye cream I’ve tried, ever. It is thick but spreadable and I wake up with hydrated and plump under eyes every time! I had a visitor with me this week and she tried this and immediately ordered herself a jar. 5/5 stars, my fave of all time. It targets dark circles and puffiness and I don’t have bad dark circles to speak on that claim but that is what my visitor was struggling with and found it to be very great for that with just a few uses! Sand & sky Australian pink clay is the best destressing/unclogging mask I own, I think (it’s a big claim for me because I own quite a few!) It is STRONG so if you have sensitive skin be cautious or if your skin is dry definitely follow up with a heavy duty oil moisturizer because this sucks eeeeverything out. I love it though and will repurchase forever. 5/5 and definitely worth the price! Bliss mighty marshmallow is just okay for me, I’d give it a 2.5/5 stars because the experience of using the mask is lovely but I can’t say it does much in the way of brightening as it claims. Volition celery green clean is one of my favorite moisturizers. I hate celery as I’ve said before but this smells like cucumber and it suitable for both day and nighttime usage for me which is a big deal considering my combination skin and humid climate I live in! 5/5 and a little goes a long way!

✨Retinol Glow✨ PM Routine
This is my ultra moisturizing 💧 retinol night routine. All the results of a gentle retinol PLUS a super hydrating sleep mask glow. ✨ PAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster I’m a total fangirl for Paula’s Choice and love 99% of their products. This one just doesn’t give me enough results to repurchase. Any HA serum suggestions? 🙋🏼♀️ Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream I’m in love with this perfect moisturizer. It’s perfect for any skin type and gives my skin a balanced moisturized feeling plus a noticeable bounce and firmness with every use. A dream for combo skin. Kiehl's - Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado this is a thick luscious eye cream with a slight green tint that helps with my dark circles! It absorbs nicely, doesn’t creep into my eyes and reallyyyy helps with the fine lines around my eyes. It has the same plumping, bounce factor as the face cream. A staple for am and Pm routines. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face Mask I really love this mask but if you have oily or acne-prone skin, proceed with caution. I would say it’s worth a try because the results are great. Since I have combo skin and a long history of breakouts, I only use this once a week and it won’t break me out. It’s got a rich, buttery texture that melts into a cream, which is why it’s too rich for daily use for me. But when i use it weekly, I wake up with skin so glowy and plump and hydrated, and it almost has this blurring effect on my pores. Which I love because I normally have misbehaving pores. Bottom line: it’s the dreamiest retinol treatment I’ve used, and it’s a perfect retinol choice for dry skin. GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face MaskI’m trying this for the first time tonight! I’ll update you with my results! In the future I want to add a ceramide product to this routine to really boost the skin barrier effects and glow factor. ❓Any suggestions you love?!

farmacy GreenClean I can’t stress enough how amazing this stuff is at gently and effectively breaking down all oil, sunscreen and make up (including the most stubborn waterproof mascara) then rinsing away without a tace of residue. . dewitall I am most sensitive around my eye area and with the skin issues I’ve been experiencing, this little guy has been a dependable delight in the face of adversity. . honeybutter This all natural lipbalm is beyond reproach. Not too waxy or oily, intensely moisturizing with a beautiful soft sheen finish. sheetmasks are made in Korea; the birth place of sheet masks. I love that these coconut water infused gel masks hug the contours of the face for a far superior fit than traditional sheet masks
