Great product for all skin types. I use this almost every night due to my skin being dry and my moister barrier is thin. When I'm trying new products, I know this product has my back to make sure what I try doesn't ruin my skin barrier. If you have oily skin, probably not something you need to use every day, but to have on hand when you do have a day your skin is sensitive and irritated at something. This also gets my fragrance and essential oil free stamp of approval! It has an oder that you have to get past, kind of earthy (so you know even without looking at the ingredients it's free from perfumes). On top of that, they list the % of their actives in their ingredients! This is the first product I've tried from Krave beauty and I'll likely be trying them all. Very pleased
Krave-Great Barrier Relief
Good for oily skin types.... so not mine
This is a good cleanser that has ingredients that will definitely clean your pores and is formulated well. Sadly it does not get my fragrance free approval stamp, however since it is a wash off treatment, it's not bad if your not sensitive. On the ingredients list, it lists "fragrance" at the very bottom, so if you are sensitive to a certain type of fragrance, I'd stay away to be safe (since it doesn't specify) This is very good for oily skin types. My boyfriend currently uses this cleanser and it has done very nicely for him in evening out his skin tone, and leaving him clean without stripping his skin.... however for me, it leaves my skin feeling tight. I have skin so dry that I need all the moister I can get, so sadly this is a no for me. If you have combination or oily skin though, it's definitely worth a try. It's decent on the price point and comes with glass packaging (always a plus).
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE-Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser
This is a very good product. If you can look past how gross it may seem to put snail goop on your face, I promise, it is worth it. Made of 96% snail muccin, it's good for all skin types in my opinion. It's fragrance and essential oil free (which I am a big proponent of especially with leave on treatments). It is very hydrating and plumps the skin without it feeling heavy. My skin soaks it in father quickly. It is also at a good price point, making me say 5/5 stars.
COSRX-Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
Overall not bad and does what you want
DHC oil is a good first (aka oil based) cleanser that will definitely take on spf to your more heavier make up looks. I give it three stars because this is my first oil based cleanser once finding out more about skin care and am unsure how it stacks up compared to other brands. I recommend this more for dry skin since it does feel a bit more hydrating and I could imagine it being a bit heavy for oily skin. Sadly, it is not fragrance free. DHC oil does contain Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil. Since it is a wash off treatment, it should be ok for your skin, however if you already have sensitive skin and/or allergic to fragrance, I would refrain. It is my personal beleif that fragrance and essental oils don't have a place in good skin care so I'll empty this guy out and look for another brand ❤️
DHC-Deep Cleansing Oil
Must have for dry skin
This is a very gentle second (aka water based) cleanser. It is fragrance and essental oil free 🎉! Absolutely not stripping to the skin so don't worry, you won't get that bad "squeeky clean" tightness from this one. Also very good price point for the size. If you have any skin type other than sensitive and/or dry skin, this cleanser will likely not be enough for you unless you need a break due to a disrupted skin barrier or other irritation on the skin. Only reason I give this a 4/5 stars is the fact that this is my first cleanser I've tried since learning more about skin care. I'll be looking at other milky cleansers to see how they compare, but I know I can always go back to this one and it won't do me wrong. I just have to try out more brands to see how this one stacks up. May have found my holy grail ❤️
LA ROCHE-POSAY -Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser
Mask drying chin out!
I have dry skin and can be prone to some mild acne on my chin. Lately I've experienced extreme dry skin around the corners of my mouth and more acne around my chin. I wear a mask now 40+ hrs a week. Every time I take my mask off after having it on for hours at a time, my skin is dry and flaky around my nose, mouth, and chin. I've also been in the middle of a new skincare routine that's been evolving as I learn and get this new concern. Basically my skin has been through the ringer with new product and now a mask. What do you all think of my routine? will it help? suggestions?
