the Naruko Miracle Essence grew on me over several weeks and is now a staple in my routine. You know it's doing something good when your husband and friend remark unsolicited on how much more even and smooth your skin is! Meanwhile, the Naruko Elixir Oil works so well at preventing trans-epidermal water loss overnight. This oil + essence blend smells so darn good, like magnolias and Jasmine. It's not all-natural, it does contain silicone oils which did surprise me a bit, but my skin seems to be loving it, so I'm not going to complain!
Lepaar is a holistic brand out of Australia. They use sun infused extracts in their products. Everything is small batch, hand blended and has a trio of gold, frankincense & myrrh . I’m partial to the brands facial oils. I really love the Precious Face Elixir & Pregnancy Face Elixir (you do not need to be pregnant to enjoy this one. It’s their EO free one). I recently grabbed the Zen Matcha Cashmere Night Serum & Yuzu Vitamin C Serum so I’m excited to try their new launches (Not in the picture as I had made a second order). The Yuzu serum is super limited as they have one Yuzu tree (it’s grown on their land) and have to compete with the kangaroos for the fruit. It’s simple with yuzu, saffron, olive oil the the trio of gold, frankincense & myrrh. Zen has camellia, matcha, nettle, immortelle, jasmine, honey, saffron and olive, grape & avocado oils.
beauty_by_ane -Radiance Serum Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Day and Night Vitamin C boosts the skin's collagen production. Antioxidant properties of vitamin C help fight free radicals and damage caused by UV radiation. Hyaluronic Acid, HA is a humectant, which means it grabs moisture and holds it so skin can absorb it, it can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water helping to retain the skin's moisture barrier and keeping you looking plump and hydrated. This is a gorgeous formulation that absorbs quickly and beautifully. My skin instantly has a boost of plumpness and gives me a flawless feel. - Glow in a Bottle All Natural Facial Oil A powerful powerhouse blend of eleven 100% natural anti-ageing plant oils. Abundant in vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids to maintain and restore your skin's natural healthy glow. This oil is super lightweight and non greasy. It absorbs fast and doesn't leave a heavy slick behind like most oils do. This is my current night oil and I'm enjoying waking up every morning with a natural healthy glow.
This is the TLC glycolic serum and the virgin marula oil from drunk elephant. So far, I haven’t had any issues with these items. I’ve only used them a few times. Each application I actually mix to the two products together and apply after my moisturizer. They work well for my skin type.
My love for facial oils began with Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose oil. Sharing some of the facial oils that are currently in my routines: Urang Natural Brightening blue serum: This lightweight oil sinks into your skin instantly and I love the glow from within look this gives me. If you are looking for a light weight oil that does not leave a greasy finish, I highly recommend this Pure Pili Pili Oil: If you are wondering what Pili oil is, that was exactly my reaction when Pure Pili reached out to me. The oil is from the Pili fruit that grows in the rich volcanic region in Philippines. This is natural, organic and ethically sourced. I had to research a little on Pili nuts and the benefits of this oil before agreeing to try it. I usually prefer oil blends but after reading about it, I really wanted to try this exotic oil. This is 100% pili oil, rich in anti-oxidants, high in Vitamin A and E, has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties and is deeply nourishing. I have just started using it in my evening routine. Lepaar Precious oil: I love using this in the morning, this is also fast absorbing and leaves a non greasy finish. I have a few uses of this oil left, so I am saving it and not reaching out to it often Amalie Beauty Shine brightening oil: My friend Siri, Gloweverafter is obsessed with this oil, she calls it "My precious" and everytime she says that I know what she is talking about. True to its name this is really brightening and adds a luminous glow like you have a highlighter on. This contains antioxidant rich oil blend with Licorice root and Elderberry extracts. Love it for the brightening effects, it is on my wishlist, I plan to repurchase it when on sale
Bird spit for skin? Elizavecca CF Nest 97% Serum
This is my night serum and I’ve been using it for about five months now and I throughly enjoy it though I think it was better for me in the summer since I need more hydration now. This serum has a very light and watery gel consistency and absorbs easily into the skin. It adds moisture to my skin without making me oily. It also gives me a beautiful bouncy look to my skin that overjoys me! I do notice that my skin looks more lifeless on the lazy days I skip my routine. This product contains 97% protein rich EGF from Swiflet birds nests that they make with saliva. Now yes, this does sound gross but the there are benefits to this kind of EGF and there are no pieces of nest in the serum and only abandoned nests are used to not harm the birds. According to the klog EGF is great for wrinkle improvement, hydration, pigmentation prevention, and this particular type of EGF is high in proteins that stimulate cell growth and help skin elasticity. I love this product the only thing that makes me sad is the fact that it contains a perfumed scent to it which isn’t good for dry skin girls.
