🇰🇷Skincare Product Around World: Korea 🇰🇷
🇰🇷I have combination skin so my t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks I also have some freckles (sun spots) across my cheeks and my nose bridge (which bother me!). I also have very sensitive skin so I am always cautious with new products or else my skin will become super red and peel! 🇰🇷I got this THE FACE SHOP - Jeju Aloe Fresh Soothing Gel after getting a sunburn and reading reviews on what’s best to treat it. Found this one at the Face Shop and it’s great! The texture is a gel that is not greasy at all and has a refreshing smell and feel when applied. It is made with 99% aloe barbadensis leaf extract that’s from Jeju and it soothes and moisturizes the skin. It is absorbed into the skin so quickly without leaving a sticky feeling. It’s also free from paraben, benzophenone, animal oil, mineral oil, and artificial coloring. 🇰🇷Aloe has a plethora of benefits not only for the skin but for the hair as well. But for the sake of this post, I'll only touch on the benefits that it brings for the skin. The first point that probably everyone knows already is that it helps soothe sunburn. It has cooling properties and anti-inflammatory benefits that when used, soothes burned skin extremely well. Tied with the first benefit, the second benefit is that it reduces acne and small blemishes. With the anti-inflammatory properties and antimicrobial benefits, when applied, it can reduce acne. The last one that is super important to me is it provides high moisture for the skin. Aloe vera, unlike other moisturizers, does not generate a greasy feeling. Even though it is thick and slightly slimy, it is completely non comedogenic. Whats super amazing about it is that it actually unclogs your pores and softens your skin! 🇰🇷If you don’t have access to fresh aloe Vera, I definitely recommend this product since it’s not too pricey and it defiantly works. My sunburn felt more relieved and healed faster than if I didn’t apply anything. My skin didn’t react badly with the product as well. #cheriepartner

🇹🇼Skincare Around World: Taiwan 🇹🇼
🇹🇼I have combination skin so my t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks I also have some freckles (sun spots) across my cheeks and my nose bridge (which bother me!). I also have very sensitive skin so I am always cautious with new products or else my skin will become super red and peel! 🇹🇼I know I never posted Dr. Morita skincare products on here before but might as well. I bought this #Dr. Morita - Charcoal Face Wash[products]#[FiveStars] when I was back in Taiwan and it was my first time buying a face wash from them. Usually I buy face masks from them and I love it so I thought, their face wash must be great too. I was not disappointed. First of all, I love the color! It’s like a metallic silver. The texture is pretty thick but still liquidy enough to drip when given time. The product has a really nice scent to it too. It smells kinda rosy with a subtle scent of something nice. I dont know what it is but it’s refreshing and soothing. 🇹🇼This product lathers up pretty well too and I feel like a little goes a long way. It is kinda stripping though so I only use it after days where I feel like my face is greasy or extra dirty. There are quite a few good ingredients in this product too (like all Dr. Morita products). It includes, tea tree oil, aloe, witch hazel, and charcoal. Tea tree oil can help smooth dry skin by decreasing itching and irritation. Aloe can smooth and relieve dry and burned skin. Witch hazel can help with irritation, injury and inflammation. And lastly, charcoal can detox, purify and shrink skin pores. 🇹🇼Definitely recommend this product and all of their products for sensitive skin. They have a wide range of skin care products with lots and lots of face masks. This product is more for oil prone skin though since it does strip your skin of oils. However after using it it makes my skin look brighter and more toned so I’d still check it out even if you have dry skin. #cheriepartner
🇯🇵Skincare Product Around World: Japan 🇯🇵
🇯🇵I have combination skin so my t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks I also have some freckles (sun spots) across my cheeks and my nose bridge (which bother me!). I also have very sensitive skin so I am always cautious with new products or else my skin will become super red and peel! 🇯🇵I have already used the Naturie Skin Conditioner for quite some years and love it so when I saw this naturie - Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel at an Asian market (Hmart) I grabbed it right away. This product is super lightweight and apparently is an all in one gel moisturizer that soothes, hydrates and improves the complexion without creating an oily look. It acts as a beauty serum or moisturizer. The texture is jiggly and jelly like. Yet it applies on the skin so well and is absorbed almost immediately. It doesn’t leave the hands or face feeling sticky or tacky. After applying it I was surprised that my fingers felt like there was nothing. It’s defiantly not greasy. 🇯🇵I use this product at night for my body when I’m too lazy to apply body lotion or when I want something super light on my skin on a heavy day. I love how this product is hypoallergenic, non-irritating, sulfate free, silicone free, cruelty free, and with minimal ingredients. A major ingredient that’s in this product is Hatomugi. This ingredient is a natural plant that locks the skin moisture in and deeply hydrated the skin. It also improved the condition of the skin! 🇯🇵I defiantly recommend this product and when I finish it, it’s defiantly a repurchase. It’s suitable for both oily and dry skin as well as sensitive and allergy prone skin. So check it out! It’s only about 16 bucks. #cheriepartner

My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks I also have some freckles (sun spots) across my cheeks and my nose bridge (which bother me!). I also have very sensitive skin so I am always cautious with new products or else my skin will become super red and peel! 🇰🇷I found this ETUDE - Etude House Honey Cera Cream after browsing around Etude House products online and the packaging was kinda cute and I liked the product function and the look of the texture so I bought it. The function of this product is to firm and nourish the skin. And the target is to provide dry skin with abundant nutrition and radiance. I love the texture because it’s super creamy and smooth. 🇰🇷I’ve used this product for a bit before hence but then had to go back to my gel like moisturizers since this one is more on the heavy side. Defiantly keeping it for the winter to use for my extra dry winter days. I feel like this product is pretty good. It’s so creamy and moisturizing. It has a faint fragrance that smells great and not too overpowering. A little definitely goes a long way. It’s smooths out onto my skin like butter and melts as I rub it into my face. It give my face a dewy finish and my face absorbs the cream fairly well, leaving my skin feeling supple and not sticky to the touch. 🇰🇷I did not seen any irritation at all and my skin didn’t break out as well so I’d recommend this product. It’s a nice product and is not that expensive. If you have dry skin I would definitely recommend this product because it surely does feel like it nourishes the skin and moisturizes it. It’s only about $16 and the ingredients are pretty good. It includes Shea butter, honey extracts, ceramics and royal jelly. #cheriepartner

🇰🇷K-Beauty Makeup Pt. 4🇰🇷
🇰🇷My lips are naturally nude with only a slight tint of light pink so I always try to add a splash of color with either lipstick or lipstains. I really don't like the feeling of a sticky lip nor do I like a completely dry matte lip so I struggle with finding the perfect formula for my slightly dry lips. I used to apply chapstick almost every hour, however, now with COVID-19 and face masks, I noticed that I haven't been needing to apply chapstick at all! Regardless, I found this lipstain that is so beautiful and one of my faves! 🇰🇷Kaja is pronounced "kah-jah" and in Korean, it means "lets go". They are the first K-beauty brand to be co-developed with Sephora. Kaja is a Korean brand that has gotten a lot of attention recently with its inclusive shade range, innovated formulas, and adorable and unique packaging. 🇰🇷When I just got this Kaja - Cushy Vibe High-Pigment Lip Stain , I was like oh wow this color is beautiful and it's sooo soft-looking so I opened it right away and started applying it. OH MAH GAWD. One plop on my lip and I was like wow it's SO pigmented. They were not kidding when they say its a high-pigment lip stain. I used my lips to spread it out and whoa it's super bright and concentrated. The texture is so velvety and comfy, definitely does have a cushioned finish. The finish looks matte but it doesn't make my lips feel dry at all. Love the formula because a little goes a long way and it doesn't make my lips feel like the Sahara desert. It definitely has a long-lasting stain effect and even after eating it was pretty much still in place. 🇰🇷100% worth the purchase and would recommend since it is so longwear and creamy yet matte. Honestly, it has everything that you need in a lippie! #cheriepartner

🇰🇷K-Beauty Makeup Pt. 3🇰🇷
🇰🇷I have semi sparse medium length eyelashes. You would think I like thick and buildable mascara that allows my lashes to pop and look hella long right? However, I prefer a more natural look and absolutely HATE when mascara clumps up. So this Korean mascara find was a blessing! 🇰🇷Innisfree sources their natural ingredients from Korea's Jeju Island, a volcanic and fertile oasis that has a plethora of natural resources. Their main goal is to provide safe and advanced formulas that address all skin concerns without using harmful chemicals and preservatives. 🇰🇷This innisfree - Skinny volumecara is set at a reasonable price of $11. The want is extremely slim (just like the name suggests). It also has a curved brush which creates a faux-lash effect and honestly easier to use than the straight brushes that I have used before. The super skinny want and brush let me coat the smallest lashes and definitely allows me to coat my bottom lashes with ease. The curved design also reaches all the natural curvature of my lashes which makes it super easy to apply even thin layers, It is super lightweight and honestly pretty volumizing. It dries quickly and I see no clumping at all! This mascara lasted me the whole day and did not smudge but surprisingly, it came off super easily with makeup remover which is amazing because it's so hassle-free. 🇰🇷Definitely recommend this to anyone. Even if you're a thickly coated mascara person ( I won't judge), this mascara is so skinny, you can just use it for your bottom lashes to create defined, voluminous, and separated lash look! #cheriepartner
👄 Perfect Fall Shade 👄
I have a light skin tone with neutral undertones. I don’t have any lip concerns, besides maybe having constantly dry lips especially as the seasons change and the temperature gets colder. I love fall, it’s probably my favorite season and a dark berry lip reminds me of fall, so love pulling it out whenever I need a mood boost! I love reaching for this for fancy occasions or sometimes just with a plain t-shirt and jeans whenever I’m wanting/feeling bold! . BURBERRY - Lip Velvet Lipstick in Oxblood No. 437 is such a stunning deep berry! It’s a creamy and extremely pigmented lip stick that delivers a soft matte finish. It’s lightweight and comfortable that I forget I’m even wearing it! It’s nourishing and doesn’t dry out my lips at all or emphasize any lines or dry spots! It is really creamy, so it’s not transfer proof and wouldn’t recommend wearing with a mask because it will just slide around on the fabric and face. Burberry is such a luxe and glamorous brand! The details of the embossing of the Burberry print on the lipstick is gorgeous! This is a mini, the full size is $35. . #cheriepartner

Why are we not talking about this one more?!
Okay - this is one of the best drugstore SPF’s I’ve tried! This is targeted for any skin type and no specific concerns. This sunscreen has broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection and hyaluronic acid all in one. It has a thin water like liquid texture and rubs right in with little to no white cast. I originally purchased this to start being more diligent about applying spf on my hands. Come summer and beach time, I began using this on my face since it was constantly in my purse. This layers well under makeup with no pilling, and no irritation or breakouts! It has a pretty gentle formula as well. I absolutely love this product and will forever repurchase. I purchase this at Walmart and it’s under $10 making it sooo affordable! I can’t recommend this enough 💘 5/5 stars Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30

☀️ SUNSCREEN SERIES: Biore Aqua Rich Versus...
This summer, I’ve been on a quest to compare sunscreens and find something that tops my favorite sunscreen moisturizer- Biore’s Aqua Rich Watery Essence. Here’s my take on that compared to Hydro Boost Water Gel: Bioré - UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+ VS Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 PROS 💧 $ and can find in any drug store! 💧 Spreads beautifully like a moisturizer and doesn’t leave a white cast (for me, light-medium) 💧 Chemical sunscreen with UVA/UVB coverage! 💧 Doesn’t pill on top of my skincare! 💧 Thicker consistency may feel more occlusive for dry skin. CONS 💧Only SPF 30 😢 (vs 50) 💧Aqua Rich is scented but Hydroboost smells MUCH stronger. Not a huge fan but it’s tolerable. 💧Thicker in consistency, which means it could leave a white cast for those with dark skin tones! 💧Contains Alcohol (as does Biore’s) So does it top Biore’s Aqua Rich Watery Essence? No, not for me! While a reasonable swap, I find the formulation heavier that I’d like since I use SPF as my daily daytime moisturizer. It’s also SPF 30 only and smells stronger than I’d like. Onto the next one 😬😄

Kiehls Calendula serum infused water cream!
The Kiehls calendula serum infused water cream is a weightless water cream infused with concentrated calendula serum! It can be solutions for dryness, dullness, and uneven texture! It is best for normal to oily skin types. The texture of this is a lightweight gel-cream, that feels like a drink of water on your face! I absolutely love this cream but is definitely geared toward oily skin types! I received it as a promo code on Sephora about 5 months ago and it is amazing! It is very hydrating, didn’t break me out, and I didn’t see big results because my skin is on the dryer side and this is geared more for oily skin types! I would recommend this to others because it does have an amazing texture and feeling on the face it also smells so fresh. It is worth the $50 for 1.7oz for people with oily skin!🍊⭐️

Heatless Overnight Curls
I’m here to share a heatless hair hack that’s gonna change your life. This is by far the quickest and easiest curl I’ve ever did. I cannot wait to share this! I found this bag of little thing in a beauty store, it looks interesting and only about 4 bucks, so i decided to give it a try. It is very similar to spiral wire hair ties. The only difference is that this one is conjunctive so that you can open it twist on your hair and clip it back. You can also use a spiral hair tie as a substitute as a try out. First thing first, it is important to prepare your hair. Heating is damaging but it reduces frizz and brings the extra shine to hair. Although we are doing this easy heatless hack, we still want the result coming out fabulous with healthy looking curls. It is important to use some treatment to reduce frizz and make the next step easier. The result would be better and stay longer if you work on wet hair, makes it easier to get the curl as well as making it stay longer. Simply I just separate my hair down in the middle in the back with 2 equal sections on each side. Then you can start working on each section individually with smaller portions. I started with the part under my ear where I like to have the waves. You can go upper or lower based on your preferences. Total I used 8 of these bands. Following the instruction, I pick a small proportion of hair, bring it over make sure you don’t miss any hair, just keep it twisting to the end clean and tie. and rap it around the band all together, and rap it around like tie. And you just sleep with it and next day you are suppose to have beautiful curls. Next morning when I woke up, it is very curly with some funky. A if you like tight curls you can stop here. Personally i prefer natural big waves. What i did was flip my head over, shake it out a little and brush it out. Here is how I got those big easy heatless curls. Give it a try and share with me how yours turns out!
Easy Braid into a Bun!
It’s basically a French braid into a bun! It’s super easy and quick! You can spray hairspray into the braided section to make sure it stays, but I’m lazy. . My hair type: I have thick and curly hair! . Tools needed: 2 hair ties (a smaller and larger one) . Steps: 1) Divide hair into side part. 2) Grab 3 sections in the front. 3) Braid them one time. 4) Add more hair to the outer sections. 5) Braid the sections another time. 6) Add more hair to the outer sections. 7) Keep repeating until you get equal with your ear. 8) I pull a little section/tendril out from around my ear so it doesn’t look too harsh. 9) Tie the braid off using a hair tie. 10) Combine hair in the hair tie and the rest of your hair and gather around the bottom of your neck. 11) Twirl together to make a bun.
