Another Disappointing Brow Product
I was very excited about this Milk brow gel and it really let me down. I wanted to like it so badly, since the light brown color actually works for me which is rare as a redhead. I have pretty bushy brows, so I was looking for something to both tame them, and add some colour at the same time. This product really does neither. It does have little fibres as claimed, but the actual product is still super thin, so theres really not much stickiness to it that you need for it to glom onto the brow hairs and stick them in place. The brush applicator made it impossible to apply in any kind of neat way. Since my brows are blonde, I do need a close to perfect application or it will be painfully obvious that I am drawing outside the lines. But unfortunately with this product it doesnt go on consistently so I'll either have brown all over my face or very obvious patches of white. I quickly got into just applying it with a super thin angle brush. It worked decently that way to get some even colour filled in, but unfortunately the little fibres dont really work with an angle brush. But after putting in that amount of effort and trying to actually coat the hairs itself, I might as well have just been using a brow pomade. And at least pomades are somewhat waterproof which this is not. Moral of the story if you like a tiny dusting of colour on your already dark brows, you dont care about your hairs being laid flat or brushed out, and you want something low maintenance then this is the product for you. Happy Thanksgiving, my lovelies! 🍁
Plum/pink vibes on this beautiful Thanksgiving day! Since my in-laws are still out and about, and I have to be in quarantine because of my chronic illness, I have my trusty cat face mask to keep me safe. That doesn’t mean I have to skimp on the eye looks 👀 Quick eye breakdown: “Forehead Kisses” all over the lid. Then I added “Messy Hair” in the crease and outer corner and blended it out a ton. Then I used a wet smudging brush and used both “Messy Hair” and “Yawning” as a thick, smoky liner. I added that to the bottom lashline as well. Finally, I threw a little bit of the Balm cosmetics - Will Powder Blush Quad on the brow bone and in my inner corners. This is one of my favorites so far 😍 Stay healthy and happy, my beauties! XOXO, Kam
Makeup of the Day 💕
Hey, just because I’m still under quarantine doesn’t mean I can’t play around with some of my favorite products. Let’s talk about what I have on: For my base, I used the usual bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 which is tried and true. I luckily don’t need much coverage, and this gives me the perfect dewy look without looking caked on. bareMinerals - BARESKIN Complete Coverage Serum Concealer is still my favorite concealer right now. It provides great coverage without drying me out or settling into my fine lines. I skipped brow powder today and just used Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel which I am OBSESSED with. I’m going to do a more in-depth review of this in the near future, but this product reminds me of Benefit’s Gimme Brow. It gives the brows a really nice tint to fill out those sparse spots and really holds everything in place all day long. I have thick, long brow hairs, so it’s perfect for me. If you’re on the fence about it, hop off and get it already! Onto the eyes! Today, I played with one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, the CLINIQUE - All About Eyeshadow Palette . I absolutely love this neutral palette because it has a great range of colors, and they are easy to blend and build up. I used one of the darker shades as a smoky liner. It also comes with a really nice double-ended shadow brush and mirror, so it’s perfect for travel. I’m still using and loving the Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara . That length and volume are fantastic. The brush is classic in its design, and the bristles are soft, so it’s very easy to apply and work with, especially in the corners and on the bottom lashes. On the cheeks, we’ve got the trèStiQue - Blush Stick in “Moroccan Rose” and trèStiQue - Highlight & Perfect Multipurpose Stick in “Maldives Luminescent.” The blush is a cream crayon, and I’d call the color a matte coral pink. A little goes a long way, and it’s buildable which is great. I like using my fingers to apply it. The highlight is also a cream crayon, and the color is a champagne tone which works with most skin tones. It’s gorgeous, and it makes it look like you’re glowing from within as opposed to just having glitter on your cheeks. Loving it so far! Finally, I finished this look off with bareMinerals - Moxie Plumping Lip Gloss in the shade “Daredevil” which is a plummy pink tone. It has a bit of a sparkle to it, and it also has that slight plumping peppermint tingle; it’s not overpowering which is just how I like it. Overall, I am digging this look, even if you and my husband are the only ones who are seeing it. Happy almost Thanksgiving! 💕
Milk Makeup Lash + Brow Serum
Here is a short clip of me applying the Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Growhouse Lash + Brow Serum to my lashes. For some reason I was not able to post the pictures and the video at the same time. So here I am posting is separately.

tiktok makeup hack- better than falsies
So I saw this hack on tiktok (the audio is not mine!) and I wanted to try it. I usually just do 2-3 coats of mascara applied normally (root to tip) when I wear mascara, but thought I could try this instead. All you’ll need is your favorite mascara. I don’t currently own my favorite mascara, but I’m trying to use this one up before it expires. In the video I use the Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara . So you start with one coat on the ends of your lashes, and then do one coat starting at the middle and working your way through the tips. The last coat starts at the root and works all the way down to the tip! I think this made my lashes more even and fuller than normal, and I will definitely continue to do this!

I had microblading done a few years ago and have been trying to grow out my eyebrows so I use boy brow to fill in the spots that have faded or have less hair. I have used many different pencils and powders and none seem to look natural. The powders would melt off a few hours into work, and the pencils looked too severe. I also have long eyebrow hairs and I love that this keeps them in place, since cutting them too short can make them look sparse again 🤦🏼♀️ To use, quickly brush back and forth before securing eyebrow hairs in place. Going against the grain on application keeps you from just having product sitting right on top, and gives eyebrows extra texture and thickness. Also love that you can’t apply this wrong. It’s so easy! Glossier. - Boy Brow #cheriecreator
Soap Brows! “Feathered” brow tutorial!
I use Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils to make my brow hairs stand up. Use a setting spray URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray to wet the soap (I think this aids in helping the hairs stay put). I brush up on the brows, let it dry down completely! Then add product to the brows to make the shape and fill in what needs to be filled in. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil Sometimes I finish with Glossier. - Boy Brow to ensure the hairs stay put. Hope you liked the tutorial!!! P.S. hubby is gaming in the back if you hear random outbursts 😅😂🙈

OH SH*T...I have a zoom call in 10 minutes...
We have all been there. Whether you slept in and don’t have time to get “fully ready” or you just need to be ready in a flash. I GOT YOU BABE! This is how I get ready in 10 minutes for a zoom call: BROWS: If anything has to be done, it’s my brows. They go on first. We don’t have a lot of time so I just brush them out with my favorite tinted brow gel, e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel SKIN TINT: No foundation or concealer here. I just apply a skin tint to even out my skin tone, since my webcam isn’t HD and you probably won’t see my red marks. I hastily apply Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 so I get my sunscreen and tint all in one. If I plan on wearing this longer I would set it with a powder at least under my eyes, but today I only have one call. *please note that I do not condone the racist actions made my Milk Makeup’s internal corporate team(s). I am simply using products I already own so I am not wasteful. HIGHLIGHTER: In my eyes, highlighter > blush. So if I am really tight on time I skip blush. Today my highlighter is super quick and easy cocokind - Mai-light Rosé highlighter blended out with my fingers on my cheekbones and tip of my nose. BLUSH: I’m only applying blush because the product I’m using doubles as a cheek and lip tint. It’s from one of my favorite indie brands, Undone Beauty, which is exactly the vibe I am going for. UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE —I’m using the shade 310 Rosy. It takes me all of 15 seconds to apply my blush on both cheeks. LIPS: just swipe more of the UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE on my lips. If I have time, I’ll top it off with a gloss—we don’t have time for lip liner today! EYES: No nonsense today. Just going in with a new fave: FENTY BEAUTY - Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara this is the new shade Merlot which is a red brown. I love natural colored mascaras since they help you look less bold, more “my lashes but better.” No clumps. Now I’m ready for my zoom call!! What are your go-to products for quick and easy makeup? #CheriePartner

Best mascara ever!
ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara If you like long, natural looking lashes like me, this is the perfect mascara! The double sided wand helps apply product and separates your lashes for a natural finish. It’s long wearing and I’ve never had a problem with smudging, which is the number one thing I look out for in mascaras. It’s very comparable to Glossier’s Lash Stick, but at more of an affordable price + you get more usage. It’s a great, clean formula and a holy grail product!
