After using Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick
for a little over a year now I don’t think this primer is ideal for me. I have skin that can get pretty dry, especially during the colder months. My combo skin didn’t like the chalky feel it gave. I would recommend this for oiler skin for sure. Though it is said that this can be work on all skin tones, I cannot wear just this alone. But combined with a foundation, concealer or bb cream which is fine. I hope they eventually come out with different versions with different tints and undertones for our melanin girlies😭. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who are prone to white heads/ black heads either, but more so for those who struggle with the appearance of their pores. As for the Glossier. - Boy Brow
, I think the spoolie that is used is perfect for both thick brows and sparse brows!! The tinted brow gel is a perfect hue, not too dark, not too light, and looks so natural. The formula is very light and not heavy like a lot of pomades. And you can build up the color too to fit your liking. This brow gel makes a natural brow look cleaner but also has the ability to make a chiseled brow to appear more natural!

My favorite solid tinted moisturizers that every girl must have!!
When we mentioned base makeup, having a natural, perfect look is what we are constantly looking for. Balmy autumn days make our mood better but keeping our face moisturizing is still really important. The new wave of solid tinted moisturisers, are ideal, which both protect your skin without flaw but also give you a natural base makeup. What we love about them most, is the beautiful, natural finish they give, for the days you want a to look low key, or barely have to do anything. Here, are two of the best solid tinted moisturizers that I do recommend to you during autumn and winter seasons. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick I have an oily t-zone with (what I feel are) large pores. For me, this genuinely blurs more pores. I don't look poreLESS, but I see a significant improvement and that makes me happy. I use this over my t-zone and i blend it out a bit with my fingers after application. Perhaps this is a bit overpriced, but the full-sized stick is a huge stick, and can be used for a longtime, so that becomes more cost-efficient. In name at least, this warrants a mention. It’s pigment free, so comes in one shade. In some ways, it’s difficult to know if it truly does anything at all. But then in other ways, you look in the mirror whilst wearing it and see an angel staring back. Make of that what you will. NUDESTIX - Nudies Tinted Blur Stick This product has a slightly harder and waxier texture than the Milk, but once warmed with fingers it can be melted into skin for a stunningly dewy finish. It is also all organic and chemical free. It’s very blurring like the name suggests but it also evens out the skin. It’s really lightweight and sheer but you can build up the coverage without a problem. This foundation honestly made my skin look very healthy and dewy and I adore it. It lasts a long time on the skin, even when I sweat. This solid tinted moisturizer also gives the look of a tinted primer, but can be applied in seconds. It feels fairly silicone to the touch, but is incredibly lightweight on the skin.

Milk makeup, is it worth it?
Over the past couple years I’ve really wanted to try out milk makeup and I thought the brands aesthetic was so pretty/ minimal. It’s perfect for a quick on the go person or someone who wants to look glam. Hydro grip primer, this is really good. It has become of my fave ones to use. It provides a great base for my foundation or even for my bb cream. It’s feel kinda like gel but not thick. Spreads easily and has a slight tackiness, also leaves my skin moisturized. The only downside is the smell, it’s kinda like a plastic/agave scent mixed together. The scent does fade which is great so it doesn’t linger around. $30 for 1.52 oz and $15 for 0.33 oz Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Kush mascara, this one is in my top 5 fave ones to use. The bristles coat my lashes nicely and make them appear thicker. Doesn’t have a strong scent. When I apply them to my bottom lashes they don’t smudge onto my skin. $24 for 0.34 oz/10 ml and $12 for 0.13 oz/4 ml Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara Tattoo stamp in star, it’s super cute! I’ve had this well over a year and it’s still pretty pigmented. I use this on my lids, cheeks and anywhere on my face to give me that cute vibe. It lasts all day and hasn’t smudged on me. $12 and they come in lots of designs. Milk MAKEUP - Tattoo Stamp Kush lip balm in plushberry, it’s a sheer berry color. Moisturizes my lips and gives them a super cute tint. I’m definitely more into sheer colors and glosses. It has a slight minty scent to it that I love. $16 for 3g Milk MAKEUP - Kush Lip Balm Kush clear brow gel, it sets my brows nicely but it isn’t a strong hold. It’s more of medium. Doesn’t have a distinct smell which is good. $20 which is pretty expensive. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Clear Brow Gel Holographic stick in supernova, I really like this. It pretty creamy and I like applying this with my fingers. Looks super cute as an eyeshadow as well. It’s more of a duochrome. It has a purple/blueish shift. I wish it had a bit more pigment in it. Currently on sale at Sephora for $18 for the full size 1 oz/28 g. Mini size $15 for 0.25 oz/7.1 g Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick Watermelon brightening serum, this was ok. Wasn’t my favorite. It feels nice on the skin, kinda moisturizing but I didn’t see any brightening effect. $36 for 1.2 oz/ 34g and $18 for 0.22 oz/ 6.25 g. Personally not worth the money. Milk MAKEUP - Watermelon Brightening Serum Cooling water stick, same as the watermelon serum and this wasn’t my favorite. Yes it moisturized a little bit but I saw no difference in my skin. Too expensive to buy and not worth the money for me. If you have the money for an overpriced “serum” go ahead and get this but just save your money for something else. Milk MAKEUP - Cooling Water Blur stick definitely not worth it. Bunched up too much. Milk MAKEUP - Blur Stick

Recreating the Princess Diana Look 👸🏼
Hello everyone! I’m not sure about you, but I’ve recently become very interested in Princess Diana since Netflix has added the new season of The Crown and released a documentary about her. After learning more about who she was, she no longer is JUST a Princess to me, but also an independent, well-established woman who was not given near the credit she deserved for her many great qualities when she was alive. While I watched the documentary, I noticed how much I liked her makeup and that got me wondering if I could recreate her look. After doing some research, I found out that Princess Di actually wore bright blue or purple eyeliner on her waterline and this made her eyes pop. I decided being the also fair complected individual that I was to try to figure out her look. I found a little guide on her makeup online that you will see above ⬆️. Though many of the products on this list were either from the 80s or 90s, I did my best to use the products I have to give off the same look. In the picture above I am wearing Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in storm on the apples of my cheeks, Glossier. - Boy Brow in brown on my eyebrows to give the natural fluffy look they did in the 80/90s, ULTA BEAUTY - Gel Eyeliner Pencil in peacock (this is not the brightest eyeliner, but it’s all I had) it’s a blue/green liner and it definitely makes my eyes pop. For my lashes I used appleBiotic - Super Lash Mascara to achieve long black lashes like hers, MAKE UP FOR EVER - Rouge Artist Lipstick , and lastly NYX - Butter Gloss over the lipstick to have a red shiny lip look. Btw, what I did to my hair to make it have the swoop look that she had was to pin it to the side opposite of my part, clip my hair back and up to have a bit of a poof look, and flipped the ends of my hair with a straightener! ✨

Dupes Needed!!
Dupes Needed!!
I’ve been LIVING for Glossier’s skin tint for years now, my favourite item for foundation by far. I don’t have crazy acne prone skin (see second picture) so this stuff has worked amazing for me. HOWEVER being in Canada it’s not always so easy to replace when I’m running low so I’m looking for some dupes that may be easier to replace it with. I’d like to keep it light coverage so that my few freckles can show through, but I’m not opposed to a medium coverage I can blend out in the areas I want lighter. What would you all recommend?!

benefit - The POREfessional Face Primer 💲32 for full size I discovered this primer when it was sent to me in a beauty box and I did like 😳it for a short period... This primer is meant to minimize the look of pores, 🤗 and prep your skin for make up. It has a different texture than most primers I’ve used. I’d say it’s kind of like smash box’s original primer once you spread it on, except this comes out more like a VERY light putty cloud...if that’s even a thing. It has a nice tint to it but it does not effect skin tone. I felt that the product did not really spread very well it almost disappears....and it’s possible to use waaaaayyy too much. Although your skin almost has like this delicate, super soft barrier over it once you’ve applied it so that is a plus! 😂Now my pores are huge and I thought I liked this stuff but I was settling for a product that was not meant for me personally. All it did was barely smooth out the smaller pores and just slightly blurred the larger ones if at all. Which for a while satisfied me until trial and error took place....It really just clogged up my skin! It just could not breathe and my skin freaked out on me 😫. I just gotta say this stuff smells sooo good! It has a beautiful floral scent to it that is very light but oh so nice!!!🌼🌸🌺 that’s the best part of the product. 😅 💲😳 This primer is too pricey and a little clogging for me personally. I am sure it is wonderful for a lot of peeps but it’s not my perfect primer.

Haloscope is a must have for me in my make up routine. I like to go easy on the blush, since I have a bit of scarring on my cheeks that I don’t want to accentuate. I’m using either Glossier’s Blush in Puff, or a slightly redder powder blush, and then putting Haloscope along my cheek bones and brow bones. To apply, I use gentle pressure and run the stick up and down my cheek bone a few times. Then I use my finger or a blender to blur my blush with the highlighter. After that I will sometimes use a tiny bit more blush. Super simple, which I just the way I like it. The only negative is I think it does clog my pores a bit but I can’t say it’s made me break out necessarily so I still really like it. Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter

nyx vinyl liquid liner longwear test
nyx vinyl liquid liner longwear test
Hi! Today I’m gonna be talking about the NYX - Vinyl Liquid Liner 🎉🎉 My skin type: — normal to oily — rosacea — acne prone My review: — I love this liquid liner, but I didn’t at first. It took some gettin used to for SURE! — not the easiest to apply, but once you get the hang of it, it’s perfect — a true dark black shade — literally doesn’t budge and it dries quickly, so if you make a mistake you gotta get in there quick to remove it. — always leaves me with a very sharp point, and there are no bristles to feather on me. Longwear test: — honestly, this has the best wear time of any liner I’ve ever used. — I mean... you can see that the liner barely budged at all in nine hours of being OUTSIDE in the Florida heat. — I spent this day at the universal parks and got real sweaty (yum I know) so if you’re gonna be sweating a bunch... this is the liner for you! — I also rode a tone of rides, like fast fast roller coasters, where my eyes watered a bunch and honestly I’m so surprised! — it got a bit smudged somewhere along the way, but I think that’s incredible for 9 hours.

Ilia True Skin Foundation
Ilia True Skin Foundation
Quoted via the sephora site: “What it is: A medium-coverage, serum-infused foundation with a radiant, skin-like finish and a featherweight feel. Highlighted Ingredients: - Aloe: Helps to soothe and nurture while binding moisture to the skin. - Mastic: Refines the look of pores and keeps oil at bay. - Plant-Based Squalane: Quenches skin and locks in hydration” Skincare/makeup mix is what i love for!!! I have very acne prone skin and this product doesn’t break me out. it also does a good job at providing enough coverage without feeling heavy on my fave (BLESS UP). I love this foundation so much! I can’t wait to try their new skin tint!! It is $54 for 1oz, but I think it is worth it! [this product was gifted by brand] ILIA - True Skin Serum Foundation
