My favourite Body Shope products!❤❤❤
These Body Shop products are a life changer. I gave my honest opinion about the products and rated them out of 10!!! THE BODY SHOP - Festive Body Butter Trio THE BODY SHOP - Spa Of The World Hawaiian Kukui Cream THE BODY SHOP - Spa Of The World Ethiopian Green Coffee Cream All of these body butters and body creams are so smooth and silky to the touch when applied. I usually do this after every shower, and I always get compliments on how smooth my skin is. 9/10 recommend. THE BODY SHOP - Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask If you need a good deep hydration and calming mask, this is it! I usually put this product in the fridge prior to using it when my skin is irritated from trying new products to have a cool and calming effect. 9.5/10 recommend. THE BODY SHOP - The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter This is my go-to cleansing balm. I use this to remove my sunscreen and makeup that have been on my face for over 12 hours and this will take it all away (you can tell how much I love this product as I am almost done my 3rd one). Haven't found a cleansing oil or balm that is as good as this so far. 7.5/10 THE BODY SHOP - Born Lippy Pot Lip Balm - Strawberry My favourite lip balm ever, this gives you a slight pink tint making your lips shiny and looking plump. In love with product no words can describe how much I love this 100/10 recommend. THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution Used to use this product for around 3-5months. During my 2 months I saw beautiful results as it cleared most of my scarring and made me breakout less! But after the 2 month period it began to not show results anymore :( 5/10 recommend.
Fenty Skin - Is it worth it?
When Rihanna announced earlier this year that Fenty Skin would be launching, I was ready to purchase right away. Rihanna has mastered the makeup game, so I didn’t even second-guess the skincare line. When I bought these items and started testing them out, it was EXTREMELY important that I didn’t have any bias opinions simply because I love Rihanna. Do I think these items are worth it? Read below: FENTY SKIN - Total Cleans'r Remove-It-All Cleanser The first thing I noticed right away just like everyone else is the fragrance. It’s not a strong smell but it’s definitely there. I am not sensitive to fragrance but I personally don’t really like the smell for a cleanser. I also feel like I must do a second cleanse to make sure my face is clean. The only pro that I found from this product is that it removes makeup very well. Would I repurchase? Honestly… No. There’s other products that work better for less money. I’m currently half way through this product and will finish it up. FENTY SKIN - Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum This is my least favorite product from the line. As you can see the bottle is still full. I have oily skin, and it seems to cause my skin to produce even more oil. I don’t even know what to do with the product since it’s not a cheap product and I don’t want to just throw it away. Would I repurchase? No. FENTY SKIN - Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen If I had to pick my favorite product from the line it would be the moisturizer, especially because it has SPF. This product also has a scent, but my skin doesn’t react to it, and the scent blends away after application. After I apply it, my skin looks very moisturized and glowy! It really makes your skin look gorgeous. My skin does get oiler throughout the day when I use this product which is a bummer. Would I repurchase? Hmmm Maybe not. The main reason why I would not repurchase it is because the refill is only $5 dollar cheaper. I understand the concept for trying to reduce plastic use… but only a $5 difference? The moisturizer is $35 alone which is not cheap at all. There's plenty moisturizers out there that are wayyy cheaper and SPF. What are your thoughts on Fenty Skin?
Halloween Skincare 👻🎃💀
Halloween is this weekend and it’s so important for me to prep my skin a day before I’m about to put on a bunch of heavy makeup! I am no stranger to a full face of glam but when it comes to creating a Halloween makeup look it’s so important to make sure your skin is looking at its best before even starting. I love to use products that provide me with hydration and brighten up my skin so that my makeup really sits well on my skin. The fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum is perfect to apply before moisturizer because it leaves your skin so hydrated and leaves such an amazing dewy glow. Not to mention the scent of roses always gets me in a great mood! The FENTY SKIN - Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum is great because it contains niacinamide which will help brighten the skin and since it’s a thick consistency it acts like a toner and essence in one. It’s so great for really providing a great canvas for makeup. TATCHA - Violet-C Radiance Mask I love to use this mask in the morning as a boost of vitamin c if leaves my skin so vibrant and soft HUDA BEAUTY - Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer this moisturizer is so hydrating but light weight and it leaves the most beautiful pearlescent glow behind. You can skip the highlighter if you use this product. All these products work so beautifully together to create the most perfect base! You’ll be Halloween ready in no time!
This mask is my holy grail. It’s one that I’ve repurchased now about 4 times. I used to have really bad acne and obviously bad acne scarring/hyperpigmentation afterwards and this mask did wonders for the hyperpigmentation. It has pieces of charcoal for exfoliation which might be a little too abrasive for some skin so I only use this once a week now. I used to use the mask about 2/3 times a week. The mask is also drying as it is a clay mask so I always use my moisturizer and squalane oil afterwards.
🥰 getting better🥰

In my last post I graced y’all with how my skin was not in it happy mode and honestly I was very unhappy about what was happening on my face ☹️ and wanted to just give up but I was determined to get my skin back and on the path of happiness!!! Over the 2 wks I did my regular facial peel with The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and these new products that I purchase from the body shop! And guys these products really helped me out with my break out and also leaving my skin fresh like a spring day! After the facial peel THE BODY SHOP - Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is really purifying guys and just with the first application I felt in going into my pores, at first a slight tingle but after putting all over you can feel in stinking into your skin make it tight and firm, I left it on for 20mins and after I rinsed it off i felt my face feeling so refreshed! Worth It?! NEW Fenty Skin Gel-Cream Review
Fenty Skin have just dropped their new FENTY SKIN - Instant Reset Overnight Recovery Gel-Cream and I have thoughts! As soon as I saw “Gel-Cream” my first thoughts is that this maybe wouldn’t be rich enough for my dry/dehydrated skin type but it is riiich! It has a similar scent to the Hydra Vizor SPF, just a little lighter and doesn’t linger at all. It layers well on top of my other skincare and meshes well with my oils. It leaves my skin hydrated and dewy all night, I wake up with such plump and glowy skin. This one retails for $40USD which is honestly such a great deal! This cream is most comparable to one of my holy grails TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream which is $68USD. What I love about the Fenty Skin cream is that it comes with a spatula that is apart of the packaging!! Innovation!! And not to mention that it has refillable packaging. Fenty Skin are killing the skincare game and this product is another absolute banger. #CheriePartner
lip pumping mask ! ⭐️⭐️
1 oz $14 This product does wonders. It smooths my lips and adds just a slight plump to them. It also feels nice and cool when it first goes on. To the people worried about the glitter - it's plant based glitter! Truly Beauty confirmed that multiple times on their various social channels. So, no worries about nasty glitter going down the drain! It can leave the lips a bit dry afterwards, so a good lip balm is definitely worth the investment. Plumps a good amount but not as much as lip injection by too faced. Wouldn’t buy but got as a gift and it’s fun and cheap. TRULY - Star Kisser Jelly Lip Plumping Mask
Skin Journey 🤎🌟
I just wanted to come on here and share my skin journey!! My skin was never 100% clear. I am acne prone and I noticed that my skin is actually pretty sensitive. I always had break outs and hyperpigmentation especially around my period but for the most part my skin was not a huge concern. Starting in September 2019, I used some synthetic hair that I ordered from Amazon and it gave me the worst allergic reaction ever. My scalp was extremely itchy and face broke out very bad. When I tell you I tried EVERYTHING. I mean it. I used sulfur, neutrogena, witch hazel pads, but it all ended up making my skin more and more irritated. I even tried facials but nothing worked :( I was so insecure and would cry all the time bc of my skin. I then began to use Differin skin care products. Differin is a brand that is prescription strength but doesn’t require an actual prescription. Once I started to use that after about two weeks, I saw a slight difference in my skin so kept using it. As you can see in the pictures my skin didn’t start clearing up until March 2020. In feb 2020 I went see a dermatologist who told me that the kind of acne I had was very hard to clear up so she put m on an anti-biotic on top of the Differin helped my skin clear up SO MUCH and super fast. I use Acure serum to help get rid of my acne scars which as helped a lot too. When your skin gets as bad as mine, you may have to start taking an antibiotic in order to clear out your body. My tip is to drink lots and lots of water and stick to one routine! I got so impatient with my skin that I didn’t want to wait and made skin even worse. Patience is key :) This is what worked for me! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I want to help if I can 💜 Here are the products I currently use: Differin Daily Deep Cleanser (Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment) Differin Oil Absorbing Moisturizer SPF 30 (Am only) Acure Brightening Vitamin C serum Differin Restorative Night moisturizer
ACURE-Brightening Vitamin C & Ferulic Acid Oil Free Serum
I wish I loved this!
This was gifted to me in PR. I was most excited for this toner and had very high hopes because of previous reviews I’ve seen and the ingredients sounded amazing. I have oily, dehydrated, sensitive/acne prone skin, and this unfortunately does not suit me. I’ve been using this for three days. The second ingredient is witch hazel- very unusual given the other amazing ingredients this is masking. It claims to brighten, protect and perfect pores with niacinamide, barbados acerola cherry, cactus flower, and green tea - all of which are under witch hazel on the inci list. The witch hazel dehydrates my skin, and I woke up the first night with a flaky nose, which never happens to me, even being on drying acne treatments. In order to use this product, I have to add more hydrating/repairing products into my routine and it’s just not worth it for the upkeep. I’d rather use a hydrating niacinamide serum. Unless you don’t have dry/dehydrated skin, definitely look into this because you may like it more than me!

Layering Skincare Ingredients To Achieve Happy Skin
Layering skincare products is like math for me. I am looking to have A + B + C = happy skin. Which means that one is never enough. You must layer them and try them all, in random orders until you skin thanks you. Or at least that is what I belive. I am a skincare addict. I really love trying out new products that help my combination, aging and blemish-prone skin. So when I found a few products thanks after seeing them on a beauty vlogger’s YouTube page, I said hmm, maybe I will give it a try. So that is what I did. Well, I read a few reviews first and then I opted in to making that big ticket purchase. Now when it comes to picking and choosing skincare products I need to make sure that whatever I use with either solves 2 out of the 3 shallow, but obvious skincare issues (I think) I have. The first issue being that I need to balance the oily and the dry areas on my face and neck. The second well, second and third problem that I have are age spots and hyperpigmentation. For the life of me, I do not know why my skin attracts these hard to get rid of dark spots. It’s really annoying because I know that as soon as I get either a deep scratch, cut, and/or pimple on my face, it is downhill from there. Within 4 days there will be a dark spot and then for 3-4 months I am trying my hardest to use natural remedies to brighten those spots; until I say screw it and go to some trusted over the counter, yet reliable chemicals. A few years ago I worked with an esthetician who re-introducted me to the world of effective but not too harsh products with effective chemical ingredients. In high school I knew nothing of natural oils or actual juice from a leaf to heal my acne spots, all I knew was my mother read about it so she purchased it. They all had some types of chemicals in them and I was using them to quickly fade that mess on my face. For the past 2 months, I’ve been using the Dermalogica “dermalogica - Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash” and the Murad “Murad - Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum” on my face. According to beauty vloggers both products really helped them and of course according to multiple websites, both products have 4 out of 5 star reviews. 4 out of 5 is all I ever need to convince me to make a purchase and give it a try. My dark spot fading, nightly skinroutine is really simple. After I feel the effects of either being scratched or a pimple I messed with now needs to heal, I immediately wash my face. Using a nickel size amount of the “Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash, I cleanse my face with warm water and then rinse it with cool water. Next, I towel blot my face with a 100% cotton towel and leave it wet enough so that the serum will really soak in.I then pump out a dime size amount of the serum and evenly massage it on my face but concentrating on the areas prone to scarring and getting blemishes. Done This routine is very good to try at night. While you’re sleeping, the skin is able to do it’s most effective healing. The 2% hydroquinone is a lightening agent in the serum so therefore if you do this while you are sleeping your skin cell’s are getting extra help with the skin cell regenation resulting in a more rapid healing and fading process. Not to mention that the prep you did by washing it with the Dermalogica cleanser, the salicyclic acid removed dirt off the surface and unclogged your pores. This cleanser also contains Tea Tree, Lavender and Camellia Sineneis, which all can calm irritated skin and stop the skin from breaking out any further. Although this skincare routine can be done in the morning, I believe and found that it was better this way because if you are using the “Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum” during daylight hourse you also have to make sure that you were an SPF 30. The reason being that your skin is being lightening which means that the skin is being bleached which attracts the sun. The sun will be more than likely to burn your skin causing more damage than the good you were trying to achieve. All in all, these 2 of the products really work miracles for my face especially to quickly fade those pesky blemishes.

Skincare Favorites: Hyperpigmentation & Oil
These are a few of my favorite skincare products. I have extremely oily skin, which leads to occasional breakouts. The scars from my breakouts seem to never seem to go away. Since using these products I have seen a dramatic change in the amount of oil my skin produces, the amount of breakouts I get and the appearance of my dark spots. ✨Neutrogena Clear Pore Oil-Eliminating Astringent: This product is better than any toner that I’ve used in the past. It strips away the oil from my skin and when used consistently prevents my skin from producing too much oil. This product is extremely drying so I make sure to follow up with an oil-free moisturizer that is very hydrating. The combination leaves my skin feeling balanced. This is less than $10 and every drugstore or grocery store that I’ve been to carries it. ✨Dermalogica PowerBright TRx C-12 Pure Bright Serum: This is one of the only products I’ve used that has helped to reduce the appearance of my dark spots. It is very lightweight and because I only use it on my problem areas it lasts a long time (if you have dark spots all over your face like I do this can be very time consuming but it’s worth it). I began to see my dark spots begin to fade after the first week. You have to be super consistent with this product. Missing a few days could significantly delay the fading process. It is pricey but I think it’s worth the investment. ✨Venn Age-Reversing All-In-One Concentrate: This is a super hydrating moisturizer. It helps to replenish my skins moister after it is stripped away by a toner/astringent and speeds up the fading of my dark spots when used with my Vitamin C serum. The product leaves my skin looking radiant and hydrated and feeling soft and smooth. This is a pricey product but it leaves me feeling pampered and gives great results. ✨Venn Concentrated Revitalizing Lifting Mask: I use this product at night and wake up with a fresh luminous face. If I am leaving my home with no makeup on I will put this on my face to give myself a dewy glow. The product is a thick lotion and a little goes a long way. It lasts forever because you only need a dot. Because it is so thick I don’t apply it before putting on makeup because I like a matte look. This is a little pricey and I do not buy it as frequently as the other 3 products but every once in a while I treat myself.
VENN-Age-Reversing All-In-One Concentrate
hi everyone!! In my first post I shared my skin journey form when I had a really bad allergic reaction. Here is the update from May-August: When I first got home from school and started quarantine, my skin was still healing from a break out and here is the progress! **When I got home, I did change my diet a little because in the dorms I was eating a lot of dairy and junk food which does affect my acne and I also drink about a gallon of water a day ** My current routine: In my previous post I did mention the products I use but that has changed because my skin began to dry out with the product I was using to wash my face (Differin daily cleanser with BPO) Here is my current routine: Am: No cleanser (just water) Tone with Apple cider vinegar Moisturize with DiffDIFFERIN - Oil Absorbing Moisturizer SPF 30 - I love this moisturizer bc it has SPF and doesn’t leave my face feeling weird! PM: DIFFERIN - Daily Deep Cleanser BPO 5% I still use the Differin cleanser but I only use it at night because the BPO really dries my skin out Moisturize with DIFFERIN - Restorative Night Moisturizer To help clear up acne scars I use the ACURE - Brightening Vitamin C & Ferulic Acid Oil Free Serum I only use a little bit on my face (1 layer) it can get a little sticky, but this stuff has really cleared up my scars **Disclaimer: I am taking the antibiotic Minocycline, that was prescribed I me by my dermatologist.** I am very happy with my progress 😌 Though my skin has cleared up I still struggle with a little bit of texture oil bumps, and acne scars! When I figure out how to rid those I’ll update y’all again :) That’s my full routine! Please feel free to ask questions ✨✨
ACURE-Brightening Vitamin C & Ferulic Acid Oil Free Serum
Beginners guide to skincare!!
When starting skincare I had no idea what I was doing and bought everything I could without knowing what it actually did. Disclaimer I am in no way a dermatologist / esthetician’s these are just knowledge I have gained from dermatologist. Also this is just a pt. 1 be use there is so much information to give. So let’s start with morning skin care : Step 1 :cleanser I’m the morning I like to use a light and gentle cleanser to Step 2 : serums I like to use vitamin c serum in the morning Step 3: moisturizer I use the Dermalogica calming water moisturizer which is what works best for my skin. Step 4: sunscreen This is honestly a step that I need to get into the habit of. It doesn’t matter what your skin type is make this apart of your routine Night routine: Step 1 : cleanse / double cleanse I used and oil based makeup remover balm and rub that in my face and use a wipe that has retinol in it to remove and then I go in with my urban skin rx Step 2: toner Use one without alcohol in it because it will dry out your skin. Step 3: serums I use the bio oil which helps with my dark spots and discoloration that I have Step 4: treatments I put spot treatment on my face whenever I have a stubborn pimple. I also use a facial steamer, micro needling, electric facial scrubber, and obviously face mask ( when doing these make sure it is after washing and the spot treatment is when you are done with everything) There will be a second post maybe more depending on how much more information I have left I’m going to cover different ingredients , what is best for acne, different skin types
