peace be unto you 🤎
A life “savior” for dry skin and eczema
I have Perioral Dermatitis, which is just an extreme case of eczema, and anything can inflame it. THIS PRODUCT has been the only thing that has really caused it to not only calm it but go away simultaneously. This passed week I put an oil on my face that I knew I was allergic to yet still had the audacity to put it on. My eyes swelled up and my face was filled with allergic red spots. I have only been consistently washing my face with Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser which I luuuvvvvv, and moisturizing with GOLD BOND - Eczema Relief Lotion for the past week and it’s almost gone. Recommendation: I would highly, highly recommended this product to people who are prone to allergic reactions, sensitive or dry skin, or if you have eczema. This product has changed the game for me in so many ways. I’ve bought prescriptions medications specifically for my perioral dermatitis, but nothing compares to the work this has done for my face and skin. *This also may sting a little or to an extent depending on how severe your case is, for me it stung A LOT because my case was really severe and it goes away after 5 minutes but I didn’t mind. As of now it only stings a lil bit because it has reduced significantly.* Rating: GOLD BOND - Eczema Relief Lotion It’s rare that I ever give anything a five star approval because nothing really meets my expectations in the sense of really being life changing for me. At first I didn’t really like this product because I wasn’t washing my face the right way, I left a lot of dirt and residue to pick up with the moisturizer, but now it will always be found in my cabinet. I love this stuff and will forever recommend this to anyone who suffers with the symptoms I’m suffering from. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask, much love, much peace🤎

New (To Me) Product Alert!!! 📣 Will it work?!👀
I’ve never talked it much here before but I’ve been dealing with a bit of hair loss recently just from stress and bleach damage to my hair. It’s not to the point where it’s falling out in clumps but I’ve noticed significantly more hair loss in the shower and just shedding throughout the day. That’s why I decided to try a hair growth serum. There are a lot out of different products out there but I’ve heard a lot of Vegamour and the effectiveness of their ingredients besides being “natural”-focused. Although I want my hair to be restored to its previous glory, I don’t want to be using extremely harsh chemicals and ingredients I can’t even pronounce on my head. VEGAMOUR - GRO Hair Serum $48 The main ingredients of this serum include Mung Bean and Red Clover, Curcumin and Nicotiana Benthamiana. It’s a plant based formula that is enhanced with powerful and effective phyto-actives to extend the hair’s growth phase. This has a super runny, thin formula (kind of like water) and you’re supposed to use an entire dropper full everyday for the best results. It also says both on the bottle that applying it to wet or dry hair works fine. I push the dropper into my hair at different points like at the corners of my forehead, the little bald spot next to my widow’s peak (from years and years of parting my hair there), and along the crown of my head. Afterwards, I massage it into my scalp for about 2 minutes (super relaxing)! So far I’ve been using it for a week and I haven’t noticed anything crazy yet- but I will definitely update you guys soon!

MY PORES ARE SHRINKING😱
(please ignore how gross my face looks lols) You might not be able to tell up close, but if you were to compare the before picture to the after picture, my pores appear MUCH smaller and tighter. Since you can’t tell in the pictures, rely on the cherie skin evaluation that says my pores went from huge to average size! I’ve had HUGE pores and my skin is very sensitive and prone to acne. My skin was also starting to face some blackheads and whiteheads, so I really wanted to try a salicylic acid product that would cleanse my pores and also help tighten them. I know it’s said to be unlikely/impossible to change the size of your pores; however, PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator is not from this earth!! I have found my HOLY GRAIL product!🤩 I’d heard so much about this product and it LIVES up to hype y’all!! I have only been using this product for about 3 weeks, 4-5 times a week during my night routine and I already see such amazing results. I don’t even use it daily and my pores are already shrinking! Compared to now, my pores used to be so LOOSE and not ironically, porous. They seriously look so much smaller and tighter now. I am so so so happy with it! The product itself is quite thin and doesn’t feel sticky or tingly on my skin. Very easy application and fits into my skincare routine without any disruption. No uncomfortable smells, sensations or textures whatsoever. This product SHOWS results and it is not very expensive either. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who wants to shrink their pores, has acne or blackheads. It is not too expensive and definitely worth trying out once!!

Worrying About Hair Loss Problem?
Try Some DIY Natural Hair Growth Oil! Home-made DIY hair growth oil, using natural ingredients, can not only make the hair refresh but also solve hair loss problem. Here I will share my own hair growth oil recipe. Try and make some budget-friendly hair growth oil at home! Secrets for the hair growth oil: Peppermint essential oil Peppermint oil has menthol that not only helps you relax but also stimulates thick and strong hair growth. It also nourishes your hair, scalp and helps tackle problems like dandruff, hair loss, dry, frizzy hair and more. Coconut oil Coconut oil is high in medium-chain fatty acids called lauric acid. This fatty acid allows the coconut oil to deeply penetrate your hair shaft and moisturize your hair. It also seals the moisture in your hair, making it soft, smooth and manageable. It contains antibacterial and antifungal properties. This helps in eliminating the dandruff-causing fungus that could slow your hair growth. Recommended Recipe: Coconut oil + Peppermint essential oil Ingredients: 3 Tablespoon Coconut Oil 10 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil How To Use: 1.Mix all the ingredients properly in a bowl. Apply it to your scalp and then to your hair strands. 2.Gently massage for 3-5 minutes. 3.You can keep it overnight or you can rinse it off with shampoo after 45 minutes. Repeat it 2-3 times a week. After using this hair growth oil for a few months, the hair around the hairline apparently grow more! Strongly recommend this recipe!
Battle of the Hydration Serums: Hyaluronic Acid
Me: Combination Skin, Eczema, Hormonal Acne, Very Sensitive. I had dehydrated, super oily skin for the longest time. I started using a hydrating serum (Drunk Elephant B-Hydra) and by giving my skin the hydration it desperately needed, I saw my sebum production reduce drastically. Over the years, I’ve used different HA-packed serums and want to share my experience. In the photo, they’re organized from thickest (Drunk Elephant) to thinnest (NIOD), but I’ll be ranking them from least to most favourite. 5. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is a fave of many budget ($6.80/30mL) routines. It is a goopy, odorless serum that’s not quite a liquid or a gel. It utilizes sodium hyaluronate and sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer as well as a couple other hydrating ingredients. Very basic. I used it twice a day. After applying, my skin felt hydrated- and tacky! It took a bit to dry down and made my moisturizer pill. But it did hydrate my skin nicely and didn’t irritate so it’s “okay”. I won’t purchase again. 4. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum is a good budget ($7.99/30mL) HA serum. It is a thin liquid serum that soaks in quickly. It not only includes sodium hyaluronate and actual hyaluronic acid, but other humectants and a couple peptides as well. It hydrated my skin and didn’t cause any pilling issues- plus I noticed some plumping after a couple weeks of twice-daily use. I would purchase this again if I was looking for a budget HA serum! 3. NIOD - Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex is cool, but pricy at $60/30mL. the thinnest liquid of the group, it soaks in nearly instantly. The INCI list is stacked, including 15 forms of hyaluronic acid and HA precursors, plus peptides, for hydration, soothing, and anti-aging benefits. It soothed redness and made my skin feel so soft and hydrated, very plump, after twice daily use for a couple weeks. But the results aren’t worth the price since I use a separate peptide serum. I won’t repurchase. 2. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum is a bouncy gel with sodium hyaluronate, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, and niacinamide, it costs $48 for 50mL. It soaks in slowly but completely. Twice daily use for only a couple weeks transformed my skin- hydrated and less oily! It also includes pineapple ceramide and plant extracts. I enjoy this serum and can’t recommend it enough to oily/combo folks. I repurchase often as it’s so nice to layer with other serums without any pilling. 1. PAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster is my favourite HA serum. Sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid, 3 ceramides, and many other humectants beef up this INCI list. This serum has helped me so much with my eczema and any redness, making my skin plump, soft, more even, and wonderfully hydrated. It’s a “creamy” gel that I happily apply twice daily, with zero pilling. I’ll repurchase forever, even at $36/15mL.

The Ordinary and NIOD: Worth the hype?🤔
We all concern one problem when choosing skincare or cosmetic products: is this famous product really worthy to buy? Sometimes there are many advertising invested from beauty company so that we can see their products on TV, or newspaper or even YouTube. But for brands like The Ordinary and Neutrogena, we still know there are a lot of ‘soft’ ads on the Internet. Are they really worthy to buy? The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 This is definitely the most famous product it has created. Now every brand has its own hyaluronic acid serum and this is one of the cheapest and works for so many people. It contains hyaluronic acid to make skin smooth and supple and Vitamin B5 to boost skin renewal and healing. For a water-based serum, this one is light and thick and doesn’t have a strange smell at all. I have tried this for a week and, to be honest, I abandoned it right after this torturing week. My face says no to it; it feels nice on hand but not on the face. It dries quickly on my face and my T-zone becomes more oily than ever. This is not my cup of tea and I have to say that it is really cheap without any fancy promotion, ask for a sample before purchasing it. NIOD - Modulating Glucosides I went online and bought this emulsion from NIOD’s core regimen series. NIOD and The Ordinary are from the same company and this one is definitely more pricy than most products from The Ordinary. This is an emulsion that can soothe sensitive and flakier skin caused by retinol and calm down the skin with redness. It is said that it can boost the production of collagen and new blood vessels to make skin look younger and more even. It went viral for a while online and I have to say that it needs to be famous that much. My face is no itchier after using retinol and my acne scars got lighter. It was on discount when I bought it and 20 dollars is way too good for this amazing product. Really recommend this one. 👍

Airbrush Finish: NIOD’s Mastic Must Masque
This is a transparent mask by NIOD. It doesn’t have the most pleasant smell but the results are worth the scent. NIOD - Mastic Must To me it smells like valerian root but I’ve seen online that people have described it as yeasty, and some even enjoy the smell. I do not but as it dries on your skin you stop noticing it :) The texture is quite nice; it applies on your skin really nicely and evenly. I find it dries quickly too, which makes it perfect for your morning routines! MM (mastic must) helps clean and refine the look of pores. It gives almost an airbrush finish after you’ve washed it off. At least it does for me. I use this in the morning a couple times a week and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. The instruction say to wash off with warm water and dry your skin with light heat with your hair dryer for better results. I’ve honestly never used my hair dryer for this mask and I like the results anyway. While it doesn’t make your pores smaller, I have noticed a temporary decrease in the appearance of my pores, giving that airbrush finish. It also makes my skin SO smooth!! This mask is also not drying like other face masks :) The texture is more creamy/gel-like. It applies really easily. I honestly just apply it as if I’m putting on a moisturizer. I definitely recommend trying this. The price is $37 CAD for 90 mL. It lasts a while which is great. It’s also oil-free, silicone-free, and cruelty-free.
