a look i’m currently obsessed with
just a look i did last night that i can’t get over because it is so pretty!!! some of the products i used are smashbox - Photo Finish Foundation Primer Super Light i rated this 3 stars because it feels nice, does its job, but i don’t necessarily feel it makes that much of a difference in extending the wear of makeup. smashbox - Studio Skin 24 Hour Oil-Free Hydra Foundation (SHADE 0.1) i loveeee this foundation!!! it looks so flawless on the skin. it is medium to full coverage, & a semi-matte formula; perfect for my combination skin. it doesn’t feel or look cakey either. however, i am struggling to find a primer & powder that works well with this foundation. most i’ve tried make the foundation separate, or look surprisingly flakey. the only con to what would be a perfect foundation!! HOURGLASS - Vanish Airbrush Concealer (SHADE BIRCH) i absolutely love this concealer as well!! it looks absolutely flawless on the skin, almost like an airbrush effect (hehehehe) & it is definitely a full coverage concealer. the only issue i have with this concealer in particular is the shade range. i feel as if it is lacking in that department & therefore i struggle to rate this 5 stars. i cannot bring myself to suggest this product if it is not available for everyone to try. disappointing. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Loose Setting Powder (SHADE VANILLA) this is such an incredible setting powder. let me preface this with i am NOT AT ALL A FAN OF BAKING!!! i do not bake my face, nor do i recommend others with combo skin to. i cannot suggest this as a baking powder as that’s not what i use it for, however, it does not flake or cake my face whatsoever. it makes it look so flawless & smooth. i have struggled to find a face powder i enjoy, & this has quickly become my favourite. this could possibly be a new holy grail product. i love it!! e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel (SHADE NEUTRAL BROWN) it does the job. it makes my brows look very fluffy & it is super easy to use. the staying powder is great & it doesn’t clump on my brows nor is it runny. also, the price is unbeatable & the packaging is very cute!! i am sad to say though, you don’t get a lot of product & there’s only 4 shades. MAC - Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow (SHADE BARE STUDY) wow. i have been skeptical of eye primers, but this one has changed the game for me!! it really does make the shadows pop & makes the stay on for such a long time!! although i don’t recommend the shade bare study, it’s a shimmer & i didn’t realise until i tried it out!! i have heard the shades soft ochre & painterly are popular for this product so if you are using this as an eye primer, keep your eyes peeled for those shades!! the rest of the products are tagged in the photo!! 💞💞💞
Mascara Roundup 5: •MILK MAKEUP “KUSH” high volume mascara: contains nourishing cannabis oil, and thickening heart-shaped fibers that add volume, length and curl to lashes- what’s unique about the heart-shaped fibers (vs. cylindrical fibers in other mascaras) is that these lay on lashes in each direction to add length and width (and avoids the spidery lashes look). I haven’t tried this one yet, but I’m looking forward to using it •Dior “Diorshow”: this used to be my go-to mascara back in the day (along with Benefit “BadGAL”) because it lengthened and volumized my lashes with no clumping - now it has been modified to contain a conditioning formula enriched with microfibers “for a lash extension effect”; it also has an “AIR-LOCK wiping system that keeps mascara fresh until the last use” - I can’t wait to see if this is true, because I do remember my diorshow used to dry out quickly and I had to throw it away early due to this. •Hourglass “Caution: Extreme Lash”: I love this mascara! It volumizes and lengthens lashes really well, and doesn’t flake or smudge. It has a “4D amplifier brush combining 2 brushes into 1 for volume, length, lift and definition” •Sephora “Lashcraft Big Volume”: contains plumping polymers for thicker and bolder lashes, along with nourishing jojoba oils to prevent flaking/clumping/smudging - I like this mascara a lot! It definitely volumizes and lengthens lashes… and it’s only $14 (about half the price of a lot of other high-end mascaras)

🤪Glowy natural makeup when I’m late😌 (~10min)
SKIN TYPE: Very dry skin, eczema, sensitive and acne-prone all at the same time🙃🙃 Sometimes using prescribed cortisteroid ointments (Novasone) for eczema flare ups or reactions. PRODUCTS USED (in order): Primer I use e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer , it’s so cheap but acts as a nice bond/barrier between skin after skincare routine and applying makeup; it’s so good in preventing drying out my skin but it’s not very hygienic as fluff or dust gets stuck. Usually patting the primer into the skin and waiting a moment for it to melt into the skin. Foundation is a cushion #CHANEL - Vitalumiére Glow[products]#[FourStars] (#21), gives a shine upon application while still looking like natural skin. It’s a light to medium coverage and I find it doesn’t cling to my dry patches. I don’t use concealer most of the time but I do use the powder Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder to set under the eyes, smile lines, nose contour area, chin and forehead. I don’t produce much oil through the day at all but I do sweat and the powder helps set makeup while still looking natural and doesn’t take away the glow too much. For the price though, there might be better cheaper alternatives🥺. Brows I usually use the innisfree - Auto Eyebrow Pencil or the ETUDE - Tint My Brows Gel New +benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel, the tint can last ~2-3 days so it saves time if I’ve already filled in and drawn my brows the night before😂. The only con is that on initial application the tint looks green-ish in the camera. #NARS - Original blush - Orgasm[products]#[FourStars] for the slight golden shimmer enhancing the glow of the cushion foundation, usually building it up for a slightly brighter flush of colour on the cheeks as the colour doesn’t show too much when you first apply it. Highlight usually the FENTY mini Kilowatt highlight in the shade Hustla Baby, it’s a golden sheen that really blends in with my skin tone and not too glittery while also blends in with the NARS blush. If I’m feeling extra then also lightly adding in the FENTY mini Diamond Bomb highlight. Eyeliner is the brownUZ - Eye Opening Liner Usually use various lengthening falsies or innisfree - Skinny Microcara Last but most crucial thing for me is the URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray , it really pulls the whole look together, adding back some shine where I’ve powdered thus making the whole look more natural. Also with the spray I don’t have to worry about the makeup transferring or fading/melting away during the day unless 8+ hours. Lip products include: CHANEL - Rouge Coco Flash Lipstick(#212) #CHANEL - Rouge Allure Laque[products]# romand - Glasting Water Tint 6 Colors FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer FENTY BEAUTY - Diamond Bomb Baby Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set
Fenty Haul 😍
Fenty Beauty will take all ya coins! 😆 They had two awesome sales this year that I was able to take advantage of. Ordered some stuff I’ve been wanting to try and some reliable products I can’t get enough of 😊 FENTY BEAUTY - Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette These palettes are super convenient! They’re compact and the cases are made to snap together, making them easy to travel with. There are 10 palettes to choose from and snap any two together to customize your combo. I chose shade 4-Rose and shade 9-Wine for some romantic fall looks. FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer This product promises to be long wearing and transfer resistant and instantly gives you a glow. Even though it’s a powder, it is creamy, easy to blend, and lightweight, making it difficult to overdo. It has a soft matte finish, which is perfect for my oily skin. FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush I’ve always been afraid of blush, thinking I will look like a clown, so I chose the cream blush for a more natural finish. The colors look very bright, but don’t let that fool you. They’re very sheer and buildable, which I enjoy. I chose the shade Daiquiri Dip, a soft coral red, for a nice pop of color and Rose Latte, a soft bronzed nude, for a no makeup makeup look. FENTY BEAUTY - Slip Shine Sheer Shiny Lipstick Never knew how to wear matte lipsticks, so I’m attracted to more glossy or shiny formulas. This lipstick is perfect for me. It’s sheer and nourishing—great for the chilly weather when my lips tend to be dry. It provides an effortless glam look, wonderful for anyone who wants to look cute in seconds. I decided to try the shade Vamps Who Brunch, a color I wouldn’t normally reach for. Since it’s sheer, I feel confident wearing this sexy bold color! FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer Gloss Bomb is hands down my favorite lip gloss of all time! The formula is super smooth, has tons of shine, and doesn’t feel sticky. Also, the peach-vanilla scent is DELICIOUS. My favorite shade is the original shade, Fenty Glow, but I decided to try the new shade Cheeky. #FENTY BEAUTY - Glossy Posse: Holo’daze Edition Mini Gloss Bomb Collection[products]# Did I mention that I love Gloss Bomb? 😆 I missed out on the holiday shades from last year, so I got my hands on the new holiday collection. The limited edition shades are CAKE SHAKE (shimmering bronze), BABY BRUT (shimmering gold), TAFFY TEA$E (shimmering coral), and RUBY MILK (shimmering deep plum). I’m ready to look festive for the holidays, even if I’m sitting in the house watching movies, baking cookies, and drinking wine lol.
Two best eyeliners that aging-eyes must have! 👀
Finding an eyeliner in your golden years can be tricky. The skin around your eyes is thin enough as it is, making it extremely vulnerable to loose skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. Throw in must-haves, like a liner that won’t run, smudge, flake, or irritate your eyes, and hunting down your perfect match can seem virtually impossible. Today, I'm gonna share with you guys some great eyeliners that are really suitable for matural skin with aging-eyes. MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner $26.00 Glides on effortlessly and lasts for up to 12 hours. It comes in a gorgeous array of colors that are richly pigmented and contain no glitter, which can not only look a little juvenile, but irritate your eyes — especially if you wear contact lenses. The base of this stick even has a camouflaged pencil sharpener, so you can take it on the go with no fear of ever having a dull tip. They are so soft and glide on like butter and after waiting a minutes or 2 they dry and literally DO NOT MOVE which is a blessing because with the crazy looks you can do because of the amazing shade range it promises no bleeding. This series have lots of color, and for daily makeup, they have amazing pigmented black that is perfect for the waterline. URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil $22.00 This eye pencil is a creamy, richly pigmented one that glides on super smooth - no dragging or skipping - stays soft for blending, then dries to a long-lasting finish that won't budge. Benefits: Long-lasting, colored eyeliners available in 39 vibrant, stay-true shades. Trust me, it can definitely live up to its name! We don’t know what you’ll love more: the silky consistency that goes on oh-so-smoothly (no pulling or tugging here!), or the fact that there’ll be no flakes, smudges, or bare spots anywhere in sight! For aging-eyes with many winkles, some eyeliner will make me look like a raccoon. With urban decay that does not happen. These eyeliners stay where they are supposed to. The magenta is great for a pop of color and can n be blended with eye makeup. They glide on, there is no tugging of your eyelids.
✨🌸 Sheer Glowey No-makeup Makeup 🌸✨
Hi! Most of you don’t know me but I am more of a fan of minimal and natural makeup that enhances my features, and most of my makeup looks embody that. This is my first makeup look that I’m posting on Cherie, I hope you all enjoy! 🌸 Primer: THREE - Angelic Complexion Primer SPF22/PA+++ in 03 yellow. This is a color correction, SPF 22/PA+++ primer from my favorite Japanese cosmetics brand; they are still relatively unknown internationally. All their products strive to be derived from natural ingredients and free of parabens and they blend so effortlessly onto my skin like second skin. It’s also great that it’s fragrance free as well and easy on the skin! If anyone wants to know more about THREE Cosmetics, let me know and I can do a post on it! 🌸 Foundation: THREE - Angelic Symbiosis Foundation in 01. This is a lightweight, gel foundation with a powdery-matte finish with a slight bit of shine that allows your natural skin’s glow to shine through. I dab just a little bit onto my skin and blend with my fingers which gives it a nicer finish than using a brush. 🌸 Concealer: NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer in VANILLA, conceal your under eyes and other areas of redness. 🌸 Setting: URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray 🌸 Eyeshadow and Lips: DEAR DAHLIA - Teddy Bare Collection- Paradise Dream Velvet Lip Mousse in Cosy. An ultra versatile product that can be used as cream eyeshadow and blush along with being a lip mousse. Cosy is the most flattering dusty rose/pink mauve color I’ve used. 🌸 Eyebrows: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Definer in Chocolate, fill eyebrows according to your natural shape. 🌸 Eyeliner: MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Earthquake, tight-line your eyes and wing them. 🌸 Mascara: dejavu - Fiberwig Rash Knock Out Extra Volume Mascara in Dynamite Black, apply 2 coats. 🌸 Blush: Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in Puff, 2 dabs per cheek, blend in the center of the cheeks. 🌸 Highlighter: BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone, use fingers to brush a little on cheekbones, tip of nose, forehead and cupid’s bow. Hope you enjoy this look as much as I do 💕🌸✨

a HIT and a MISS!
I am a HUGE fan of Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara , so when I visited Sephora the other day and saw they have a brow gel and pen I knew I wanted to try them. Only the brow pen is deemed ”Clean” by Sephora, meaning it does not contain a list of over 50 ingredients including parabens and sulfates. Both products are vegan and cruelty-free. FIRST THE GOOD... Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel SHADE: Dutch PRICE: $26 CAD CLAIMS: “A tinted eyebrow gel formulated with heart-shaped fibers and conditioning, hemp-derived cannabis seed oil to fill, shape, and define.” MY EXPERIENCE: I really don’t mind this product. The colour is nice and it does appear to make my eyebrows appear.... fiber-like? It emphasizes my pre-existing eyebrow hairs nicely. I find that I like using it best after a powder which I use to fill in the most sparse parts of my eyebrow to create the illusion of a full brow. I WILL SAY I prefer the NYX - Tinted Brow Mascara as it is certainly more pigmented and more easily clings to the less hairy parts of my eyebrow. I cannot use the Milk brow gel on its own as in my experience it only attaches to hair and I have zero eyebrows. I will also say that labelling the colour as a medium dark brown is inaccurate, as you can likely tell from looking at the picture. VERDICT: I like this and I will continue to use it on more natural-look days. NOW THE AWFUL... Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Triple Brow Pen SHADE: Dutch PRICE: $29 CAD CLAIMS: ”A triple-tipped felt liquid brow pen fills, feathers, and builds dimensional, natural-looking brows for all day wear—use a very light hand to fill in, flicking your wrist in short motions to achieve hair-like strokes.” MY EXPERIENCE: I really dislike this product. The colour (if it was more pigmented) is okay but that is where my positive experience ends, I have a list of things I hate about this. #1. The formula is awful, in that if you go over an area with the pen more than once it will actually remove the product placed underneath. This creates a VERY patchy look and makes layering impossible. #2. That being said, the colour itself is too translucent to be what it was described as a MEDIUM DARK BROWN. It is too light to wear with one stroke and you risk it all coming off if you try to reapply. You literally cannot win. I understand it is meant to be applied very lightly, but it’s so severely translucent that I would call it a light brown. For the second darkest shade of them all, it is so disappointing. #3. The applicator is too thick. Even if the formula was life-changing, a natural hair-thin stroke is not an option despite that being the ENTIRE MARKETING PLOY behind the product. VERDICT: It sucks. Simple as that, don’t waste your money if you want a pen that actually works.
This Fenty Beauty Snap Shadow 🎨 is a 10/10
I’ve been loving greens a lot lately and have been on the lookout for an eyeshadow palette that reflects that. Honestly, I spent some time searching bc there aren’t that many options, especially in clean beauty 🤔 so even though Fenty Beauty isn’t clean, I support Rih Rih with all my heart and I don’t regret spending a cent on this FENTY BEAUTY - Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette in 10 - Money, which I got during the Sephora HOLIDAY FUN sale with the VIB discount 💃🏽 I like this palette because the tones are subtle and can easily be worn on a daily basis for the more “natural makeup head” very minimal fallout it includes a nice, brown shadow shade and bright golden shade on top of the green which is great for traveling with The only thing is I find that the light green shimmer (top middle) shade is best applied by finger or has to really be worked into the brush, but the colour pay off is great! Additional makeup worn in this photo Face: Kosas - Tinted Face Oil Foundation in 07 ĀETHER BEAUTY - Crystal Charged Cheek Palette in Ruby tarte - SEA Hydrocealer Concealer Eyes: Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara SAPPHO - New Paradigm Concealer in Caramel as eye primer Brows: Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel Lips: BITE - Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon in Hard Cider TOWER 28 - ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly Gloss in Almond

Second love affair..
The classic Mac, lip liner/pencil. Believe it or not, I've been using Mac's lip liners since the end of highschool! I'm talking 15,17, 18 years! What I do, as a hardcore makeup lover, a smart shopper & to always have what I need, on hand. Buy classic colors. So, one red. One plum. One on the nose side or pink. Most of my lipsticks are either red or plum. All different shades, but one mac plum lip liner, or red etc (at least for me) match every other plum lipstick. So stuck with one main lip liner shade in each category, matching what you wear. I have one red 1 plum/wine and 1 in the softer side I'd consider nudes. And whether I'm wearing covergirl lipstick, or NYX.. I never need to spend even more money to buy yet another lip liner. I've had this problem with other lip liner brands. But at least for myself, I find ma's liner pretty amazing in the fact that they match almost 100% of my lipstick shades. As long as I have one per category of main color. I dont bother buying any pink, as I dont wear pink, I wont and wont waste money.MAC - MAC Lip Pencil
INTERVIEW MAKEUP + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB💼✨
HOW I DID MY MAKEUP FOR INTERVIEWS + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB I have been on the search for a new job for sometime now. I am a fairly recent graduate with little experience and plus being in a global pandemic it has been challenging to find the right fit. Throughout my research on how to look presentable during interviews, here are some tips I gathered that helped me get multiple job offers. Less is more: •Makeup: Now I am not a fan of this saying because I love being extra with contour, and big lashes, etc. but when you are doing makeup for an interview less is more. The interviewer’s main focus is going to be listening to what you can bring to their company. If they are distracted by glittery eyes or a bright pink lip they might not be fully listening to what you have to offer. I would recommend to stick to a more “conservative” look with a clean makeup base, minimal eye makeup and possibly a lip color that you feel comfortable in. •Hair: When choosing the right hairstyle for an interview, you still want to keep in mind that your face will be the main focus. With that being said, you do not want to take away from what you are saying by any hair distractions. It would be best to keep your hair pulled back and out of the way so it does not cause any interferences. (Especially if you play with your hair, that could be a big distraction away from what you are saying.) If wearing your hair down or a bright lip color makes you feel confident then I would go for it. Ultimately you want to be comfortable with how you look so that confidence can transfer over well into your interview Dress the part: Companies want to see if you are a good fit by imagining yourself in the role. When you dress the part you are saving them this step. If they can see you professionally as one of their own, it will be easier for them to determine if you are a good fit. I would recommend sticking to basic/neutral colors and solid pieces. Blazers are always a good choice when it comes to layering and they make me feel more professional and confident going into an interview. Again, like mentioned before, wear what you feel most comfortable in. Check your background: This tip has nothing to do with your actual physical image but I still think it’s important to mention now that a lot of interviews are being conducted over video-call platforms. I recommend choosing a background with MINIMAL clutter and possibly adding greenery into the scene. If none of this is possible, opt for a neutral-solid color background. You can even hang up an ironed white sheet if necessary. Also, make sure there will be minimal noise distractions wherever you are interviewing. If you live with others, make sure you let them know that you will be interviewing so no distractions can occur. SMILE & relax: Unless you are applying to a job where you do not need to be friendly… SMILE. It looks good to see that you are friendly and confident in the way you carry yourself. Also, it is important to relax and don't let the nerves get the best of you. • Psych tips: ◦Even if you mess up, if you are still smiling you can trick the interviewer into thinking you still have yourself composed. ◦The feeling of excitement and fear are SO closely related that you can turn one of those feelings into the other. When I get very anxious I like to tell myself I’m actually excited and it will help calm my nerves. Makeup used: •foundation:Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation •contour:MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect •blush: bareMinerals - bareMinerals Loose Powder BlushI like this blush because it has a little bit of shimmer in it and acts as a highlighter as well •mascara:Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara •false lashes: (custom) •lips: MAC - MAC Lip Pencil in ‘subculture' I hope these tips were helpful and good luck if you are in the interviewing process!

Morphe hint hint skin tint
I grabbed this foundation at Mecca here in Australia as they stock Morphe now! Which is great because you get a better idea of the colours for palettes and what not. I’ve seen a lot of reviews of this foundation/tint so that intrigued me to get it and test if for myself. I love a beautiful full coverage foundation but for days when I feel like something a little less full on this is perfect. It can give a tint as it says if you just put a little, and it is very buildable if you want more coverage. I have 4 drops on my face in the photos above and blended with my fingers. I have no concealer on. I really like the finish! It is a glow from within type finish. It looks undetectable on the skin and just fresh, you know what I mean. I feel like it melts into my skin. It doesn’t photograph very well though, it looks much better in person than in photos so far. But I will try to work on that. Could be just me. The rest of the look goes as follows benefit - The POREfessional Face Primer only second time using this one, seems to work pretty well. I have it only on my forehead, across my nose and cheeks. MORPHE - Hint Hint Skin Tint review a over. I have the shade “hint of beige” which is described as light - medium with neutral undertones. This is pretty accurate I’d say. MAKE UP FOR EVER - Pro Sculpting Face Palette i have contoured with the dark shade -nose, cheekbones, forehead, and bottom lip. NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow I have the shade “hey honey” and so far I like this over a liquid foundation and I would use it more when I am going with a natural look as it makes you look WET and GLOWY Which is cool but I’m not sure how it would go down over a powder so be careful. Adorn cosmetics - creme blush in Autumn rose. This is an Australian mineral makeup company and I ordered a few samples from them a few weeks ago. This was one of them. It gives a beautiful dark red flush. Next time I’d probably wear it with a more full on makeup look and it is quite a glam colour. It’s ok so far, not too much to say really. REVOLUTION - Infinite Loose Setting Powder I’ve powdered my forehead, under eyes and below my contour and nose a tiny bit. This powder is so so. I picked it up because I was out of my nyx loose powder. It is a bit moist and chalky?? If that makes sense. Gives a tiny bit of a white case and isn’t that finely milled. I find with this powder I have to wash my powder bush after every couple of uses as it builds up on the bristles a lot. Would not repurchase as I think there are other cheaper and better options out there. COLOURPOP - Going Coconuts I love this palette and that’s all there is to it. Great colours, so pigmented it’s crazy. tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara it’s an ok mascara. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel
Best NO-ORANGE Contour Product Light-Medium Skin
UGH. YES! I’ve been reaching for this JUNGSAEMMOOL Artist Contour Palette all the time! You can get it from her website jsmbeauty.us for $35 US. The texture of it is so smooth and doesn’t enhance dry skin or create patches. I love how it doesn’t disturb the foundation underneath and creates a “shading” effect that seamlessly blends into the skin! It’ll look like your skin is naturally contoured rather than having a noticeable pigment in the area. Korean cosmetics really focus on enhancing your natural features with pigments that are more soft and subtle. It was very easy for me to build up pigment rather than starting with a lot of pigment and having to blend it out. If you tend to struggle with contour/bronzer in a way where it just doesn’t look right or it looks straight up orange, this is the palette for you! I’ve tried many brands such as ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Contour Powder Palette, FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow All of them were too orange or ashy for my liking. In the second photo, you will see all the swatches in order of the palette. I mix the colors Soft Beige and Soft Brown together to get the perfect contour. For those of you who are a couple shades darker than I am, I found the shades “Dark Brown” and “Dark” are also very helpful in creating a customized shade. Soft Beige definitely has a beige undertone, whereas Soft Brown has a beige-brown undertone. You can also use “Dark” and “Dark Brown” for filling in your brows or hair line to create a “fuller” effect. Contour color is very dependent on the color/undertone of your skin. Therefore, if you have been experiencing the same issues I have, give this a go! Highlight-wise, the shade “highlight” is AWESOME. No sparkles but definitely gives you a soft, second skin glow. After multiple uses, I will say that this product DID NOT break my skin out or clog my pores. As many of you may know I have dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. JUNGSAEMMOOL was created after one of Korea’s top makeup artists Jung Saem Mool. She is known for doing many famous actors/actress/KPOP group’s makeup. I’m always skeptical of any product no matter who’s behind the creation but this product definitely exceeded my expectations! Not to mention the packaging is travel-friendly!

Sephora Sale: tried & true with some new! 🛍
If you haven’t yet stopped by Sephora for the holiday sale, make sure you do! The sale ends 11/9 and Beauty Insiders get 10% off, VIBs have 15% off, and Rouges have 20% off! Shop soon to take advantage of the sale for holiday shopping or a treat for yourself! TATCHA - The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer - I absolutely love this primer! As a person with combination skin, I try to not use heavy primers so that my pores aren’t clogged and my makeup doesn’t last, but this primer is so light. In addition to making your skin look great by blurring pores and lines while reducing oil, the floral fragrance and packaging are beautiful. On light makeup days, I love wearing this, spot concealer, and a light round of setting powder as a base. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Toner - This is a new find for me that I picked up the other day and have already seen incredible results from! My typical combination skin has been dry in patches on my forehead and nose making it hard for me to wear foundation and or see any effects from my other skincare products. I decided to change my toner after seeing some reviews of this online and I’m so glad I picked it up. The fragrance is minimal, if any at all, and the hydrating properties are simply incredible. My skin feels smooth and the dry flakes have vanished over two days. Yesterday, I was able to wear my foundation for the first time since the summer without my skin feeling tight or having to slather on moisturizer. If you struggle with dry skin, take advantage of the squalane in this toner to revamp your skin! NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer - I purchased this concealer after hearing Mikayla rave about it on tik tok and needing a replacement for my benefit - Benefit Boi-Ing Industrial Strength Concealer that I’ve used for about a year! In comparing the NARS and Benefit, the NARS concealer has about twice the product! I’m incredibly pleased with this concealer’s ability to blend into the skin, be matte while not drying, and the pot packaging! If you’re looking for something to coverup a spot here and there, this is it. fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum - I have an undying love for fresh products that began with thefresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 about two years ago. Since then, I have tried thefresh - Rose Face Mask , fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner , fresh - Lotus Anti- Aging Daily Moisturizer , and many more. This product is no exception and is one that is hydrating while not greasy. I’m totally aware that oil in the name can be unappealing, but it provides a nice healthy glow, softens, soothes, and absorbs so quickly. This is great face serum/oil that I recommend to people with dry, combination, normal skin and those who are not sensitive to fragrance.
How to cover hyperpigmentation with makeup! 😎
I have acne prone skin which often times leads to hyperpigmentation (PIE) or red acne marks after the acne has gone away. These marks can be annoying and often take awhile to leave your skin completely. These are my two products I use daily to help cover up these marks! I can use these with a full face of makeup or on their own with the right blending. The first product I use is NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer and I absolutely love this product. It is a very dense product, almost tacky on the skin so it creates a caste almost over the spot where applied. I apply this with a small concealer brush to my desired spots, let dry for 2 minutes, then blend and/or compete the rest of my routine. I find that using a primer before applying this also helps a ton! The next product I use is it Cosmetics - Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Color-Correcting Concealer Cream This is another really great option for covering up hyperpigmentation. It is a liquid formula that is creamy but it dries down on the skin. A very small amount of product is needed so I use a small concealer brush, dip into the product, then apply as needed to my spots. Again, I let this dry down completely before moving on or blending further. PIE can be annoying to deal with, but loving your skin is most important! #cheriepartner
New red lipstick!!
For MAC’s National lipstick day celebration, I treated myself to Matte lipstick in Russian Red, Lustre lipstick in Hug me, and for my freebies I got Marrakesh and Dubonnet. I have been on the hunt for the perfect red lipstick for fair skin. I haven’t worn red lipstick in years! I just love how bold it is. MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick in Russian Red is a great neutral undertoned red. I don’t look good in orange toned reds but most blue toned reds can look very dark almost brick colored on fair skin. This is such a classic red that isn’t too bright or dark. The MAC lip pencil in Cherry is the perfect pairing! I didn’t want anything that would turn the lipstick dark but this is just a hair darker for a good lip contour. What’s your favorite lipstick?? I have tagged more of my current makeup favorites! makeup in the military
🇺🇸 happy memorial day weekend! 🌊 explaination I’m an active duty service member in the Navy. Balancing femininity with the confines of a uniform can be pretty difficult at times. A lot of people question how much makeup I am allowed to wear and how/when. And I wear a full face! 🌊 so what can you wear? The general guidelines (lot of paraphrasing here) are that makeup must look natural looking, not be faddish, and not use overly bright colors/glitter. Special occasions do call for special looks, but I tend to wear the same products everyday. 🌊 what I do My goal is to make it look like I’m not wearing makeup even though I probably spent 30-40 minutes on my face that morning. I tend to skip eyeshadow to save time, especially with my hooded eyes. feel free to ask any questions! 🌊 My current daily makeup lineup Primer: Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Concealer: MAYBELLINE - SuperStay Better Skin Concealer Setting Powder: REVOLUTION - Conceal & Fix Setting Powder Blush: Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Bronzer: Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer Brow Pencil ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Perfect Brow Pencil Brow Gel benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Setting Spray Urban Decay All Nighter Mascara Too Faced Damn Girl!

Makeup with a face mask
I’m an independent artist with Maskcara Beauty and let me tell you, this makeup is amazing. I tried to go back to my old routine with traditional foundation and didn’t even like the way it looked (and I LOVED my old routine). But Maskcara beauty just looks so much better. It looks flawless and natural and it feels so light on the face. THE BEST PART...I wore this mask all day with my makeup and after taking the mask off, the makeup had stayed on and not moved. Message me if you would like a custom color match. You won’t regret it! Instagram- Bridgette.19
