🐌First impression on COSRX🐌
COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser This face wash is pretty nice. I like it, it’s a good face wash. Nothing really special. There’s a slight scent from the ingredients I’m assuming they use which I liked. COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence So this stuff I really do like, I like it better than the face wash. I know it has hyaluronic acid which may be the reason I’m noticing my skin looking plump. I think this stuff is gentle, easy to use, hydrating, and shows results pretty quickly so I can’t complain. COSRX - Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion This product was probably the super star of this set. I’d been using the cerave daily moisturizer but I used this stuff once and never looked back. There’s a slight scent from the ingredients in the product and since it’s a gel, it’s always kind of cool when I apply it. Like it cools my skin which i find keeps my rosacea from flailing up. I did buy a big bottle or the snail mucin and moisturizer, overall this little set was great and recommend buying it if your interested in trying cosrx or just the snail mucin 🐌🐌🐌

🎀“Baby Hairs”🎀 (3A curls)
So before I get into this topic I want to give credit to all of the amazing Black & Latina women creators on all social media platforms bc they truly hold all of the best beauty advice So to get into this, I’m Latina & white. My dad is Hispanic and my mom is white. I wasn’t around my dad much growing up (or his family) so my mom was the one guiding me through my hair journey. If u know where I’m going with this.. it was kinda disastrous bc she gave me white girl hair advice and not mixed/textured hair girl advice. But luckily youtube exists. Fast forward to today, I’m still learning about my hair and trying to maintain my hair the best I can. I recently started playing around with my baby hairs because honestly it is such a look. I definitely keep it pretty simple and reserved by just trying to slick back and decrease frizz but this has been such a game changer for me. I’m able to achieve a more refined look using this gel in generally but also on my baby hairs. 10/10 if you have curly hair try this out. Also I have a new found respect & appreciation for laying edges because it is so challenging 💆🏽♀️ ECOCO - Eco Style Argan Oil Gel Also plz don’t roast me if this isn’t the best im still new to it 🥵

🥝Avocado Hair Mask 4 Curly Hair🥒
I know I’ve done a lot of hair masks over my current life time, and one night I wanted to mix it up. Supposedly I found on the internet if you put avocado in your hair as a mask it would look great... ok So I did just that I mixed and mash up one avocado (maybe with something else) and put it in my hair At this point I was still very hopeful and excited The part where this all went really wrong was when I stepped out the shower after rinsing the avocado off and washing my hair... I looked in the mirrrow and they had small green chuncks (they literally looked like boogers) all in my hair. Idk what I did wrong but avocado hair mask is off limits for me. 2/10, I was literally pulling out avocado for a week. I don’t play around with diy beauty stuff after that incident 👀👀👀👀
🏵A MIRACLE Product🏵
peach slices - Dark Spot Microdarts This is day 4 of me wearing a dark spot microdarts patch daily to see how effective it is. The photos speak for themselves, I stopped circling one blemish in day 3 and 4 because it’s gone. This main dark spot on my chin has been then for while, and I haven’t been able to find something this immediately effective on dark spots.. ever.. These patches come in a pack for 9 and it’s about $9. A $1 per patch is worth it for me with these results 🤹🏽♂️

🍍Sleek Buns & Ponytails 🍍
This is such a great product , super affordable, and really could be used on all hair types. I pretty use it anytime I need to make my casual ponytails or buns a little more sleek and clean. My little frizzies can make my updos sloppy and this helps hold my hair in place, especially around my face. I wish I would have been using this years ago 🥰 ECOCO - Eco Style Argan Oil Gel

💅🏽The Best Quick Dry Nail Polish💅🏽
I used to swear by the Sally Hansen - Insta Dri Nail Color And to be fair I never painted my nails too much, but this was the most available quick drying nail polish. This polish actually takes quite awhile to dry and begins chipping in 2-3 days. I usually do 2 coats and I have to wait 30 mins- 1 hour or so to make sure it’s completely dry. Today I tried the essie - Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish and omg, it dried so quick and application is so very easy. The formula is thinner than the sally Hansen but still contains a lot of color which helps with how quickly it dries. I was able to do a second coat in 10 mins and the second coat dried quickly. Bc of the quick dry time I find the nails just come out so much better and there’s less of a chance to smudge.

Too overwhelmed by all the glittery and glamorous nail design? If so, this look is for you! Have your nails look nice and modern without all the extra. I’m going to do an oval nail shape on a clear nail tip for this look. What you’ll need: Clear full cover nail tips Nail file/clippers Gel base coat Lilac gel polish Dark blue gel polish Gloss gel top coat Detail brush UV/LED nail lamp Nail holders Nail glue/stick adhesive tabs Steps: 1. Measure out your nail tips to your nail beds. Cut and shape them how you want and then stick them to your nail holders. 2. Paint a thin layer of gel base coat (I’m using the one by AIBRIT) and cure it. 3. Create a smile line a little bit beneath the top of the tip with lilac polish. Fill the bottom. I’m using the color P07 by AIBRIT. Cure. 4. Paint a second coat of lilac. Cure. 5. Taking a detail brush, dip it in your dark blue (P18 by AIBRIT). Go over the edge of the tip to where the lilac stops on both sides. Check the video. Cure. 6. Paint over all the nails with gel glossy top coat (again by AIBRIT) and cure. Stick the nails to your natural nails, and you’re done!

My New Beauty Buy for the Ultimate Glow 🤩
If you haven’t heard the hype about My Topicals.. I am here to drop a gem on y’all. My Topicals is the newest, trendiest, hyped brand out and for GOOD reason. A few quick facts about why you should also Stan this company WOC owned and operated (recent grads too!) that have partnered with dermatology to develop top notch effective formulas My Topicals donates a portion of its profits to the JED foundation to help youth dealing with mental health struggles. They are passionate about helping/speaking about how mental health is related to skin conditions and self esteem, which I think its great. The formulations are impeccable, with nearly every ingredient you need to either fade hyperpigmentation (faded) or sooth eczema (like butter). They are unfragranced, a big plus for sensitive skin, and use tubes for packaging which is great for hygienic purposes, but also an eco friendly option! Now I’ve been using both of these products for about 2 weeks and.. 🤯 they are here to stay in my routine for a long time. TOPICALS - Faded Brightening & Clearing Gel ❣️Faded (she is a little stinky~ a little sulfur smelling) is suuuuuper amazing for any hyperpigmentation, discolorations, or uneven skin. I use it underneath my healing ointment and in the morning you can already see how glowy your skin looks, and the dark marks lightened within the first 3 days of using it. SHOOK. TOPICALS - Like Butter Hydrating Mask ❣️Like Butter lives up to its name and is a silky, smooth, creamy product that soothes cracked, irritated and eczema prone skin that needs TLC. It goes on like a dream, and you can use it as a mask or a leave on treatment (like me hehe). Its hydrating cocktail of ceramaides, turmeric and ginseng for anti inflammatory properties, can repair a broken skin barrier like no other. I also really love that My Topicals only has two products out, and is committed to making them the best that they can. It’s a true commitment to quality over quantity, and these products are a godsend!

Kardashian’s Youth Secret
Kim Kardashian says she swears by a $10 serum to keep her skin looking youthful, and I add it to my 20s anti-aging weapon list. I'll just put it out there: I'm 23. I used to feel like I have a few more years before I start to worry about signs of aging. I was not overwhelmingly concerned about crow's feet, sagging skin, dark spots, wrinkles, fine lines, or any other signs of aging. The truth is, I was wrong. 🌟Early 20s = Prevention 🌟 At this stage, the goal is to prevent the onset of ageing. This is the best time to form good skincare habits that are consistent and effective. The Must-have thing for anti-aging, I would definetly say a RETINOL product. I‘ve mentioned a million times how much I love retinol. They are the one thing that’s actually been proven to treat the skin, to build collagen, but also to reverse photoaging. Pick a mild, over-the-counter retinol product that is not irritating or too exfoliating and start using it every other night, and you can mix a little moisturizer with the retinol to make it more tolerable. I've seen a beauty interview about Kim Kardashian, and she says she swears by a $10 serum to keep her skin looking youthful. Just as obsessed with The Ordinary as the rest of us. Kim Kardashian West also shared her favorite beauty products for slowing down the aging process. One of the products is the surprisingly affordable —— The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion It's a retinoid active, part of the family of age-defiers that helps reduce wrinkles. While retinoids (a.k.a. a vitamin A derivative) often get a bad rep for being irritating, The Ordinary's formula is designed to make the serum gentile while still being effective. The $9.80 serum claims to brighten skin and even out texture. I've been using it for a year now and I love it. The price is so good, and the results are even better. My skin is super soft and got a new glow. The deep scars on my chin are almost gone. I even think it slightly smoothed my laugh lines. I am amazed! At first I used this about once a week, but now I'm using it every night. I start with a hydrating serum/lotion and then I add the retiniod. After that I apply facial oil and moisturizer to make sure that my skin doesn't get dry. I only use it in my evening skin care routine, and in the morning I apply sunscreen to protect my face. My skin is quite used to acids since I've been using . But this product gives much better results at a much better price point. Totally worth a try! Extra tip that you should be doing at any age: your neck should be part of your skincare routine! It is a thin layer of skin, that without appropriate care, can be a telltale of your maturing age. Always pat your moisturisers and serums onto your neck. Sharing is caring.
