CMON MADDIE..... Really ? 😒
okay so i’m sorry for the light this week but i’m working on a work station. However this Morphe Maddie palette isn’t doing it for the me. In my opinion I believe to pull a good palette together is blend ability and good shimmer or glitters. The shimmers on the is so trash 🗑 sorry to say. i literally had to dig for a good creamy shine. However it isn’t a complete miss. The other colors did have some good pigment and my fav shade is the black shade. It was really dark and blendable. I would probably recommend this to someone with more fair skin because they pigments and shimmers would work better in their favor. Have you used this palette if yes tell me all about below, if no would you still wanna try it out and why ?
I got this palette on sale for half off and thought it was a great value for such a stunning palette. I’m not sure I would have paid full price for it, but to have the full size champagne pop highlighter with all these beautiful shades, I thought it was well worth the 26 dollar sale price. The formulas are great for both hair and eye as the shimmers are not too think but give a gorgeous glow. The berry color is also an amazing winter blush shade.
BECCA-Pop Goes the Glow Champagne Pop Face & Eye Palette
Ofra 💙 Eyeshadow blue jeans . . My friend gifted me this little mini because I’m not used to doing colourful eye looks and she thought it would be a good idea to try! . Review: For a beginner like me experimenting with colourful eye looks (I usually do natural) I though it was easy to apply and it looked subtle. The pigment wasn’t very strong and the eyeshadow was very “lowkey”.😂 . I would give this an 9/10 for beginners, but if you’re used to doing colourful looks I recommend some of ofras other palettes because it might be more pigmented. . What are some brands that y’all haven’t tried and are dying to?💙
🌿🔥Smoke sessions 🔥🌿
I was able to snag this bad boy on sale the other day and I’m so glad I did! The metallics are beautiful, but they can be a tad crumbly if you aren’t careful. The shades are gorgeous though, but obviously not a complete palette. Definitely more of a companion palette since there are only two mattes. Definitely been loving it though! Now to snag the Gemini palette next...

Natasha Denona Sunrise palette
I have been wanting to purchase the Sunrise palette since the day it came out — the color story really speaks to me! For some reason I talked myself out of it during the Sephora summer sale, so I finally purchased during Sephora F&F (I generally wait for sales to purchase makeup, at least if it's a brand sold at Sephora). I fully expected this to become one of my top favorite palettes, which made it extra disappointing when I was generally underwhelmed with its performance. Maybe I was a little spoiled by using Metropolis first, but most of the shimmers were not as intense as I thought they would be, and most of the mattes had to be built up more than I was expecting. I don't mind building up shadows, but I did feel like I had to work a lot harder with this than I did with Metropolis (in comparison to the standard mattes and shimmers of that palette, not the cream-to-powder mattes which are obviously going to pack more of a punch). Aster in particular was the biggest disappointment for me, as I love purples and was most looking forward to this shade, but really had to dig in and pack it on using a finger, wet brush, and glitter glue for it to look like anything was there at all (and then it faded away within a few hours). . I actually considered returning this palette, but ultimately I did enjoy most of the looks that I created, it just wasn't what I expected. I felt I should be able to build up the intensity of some of these shades for a more fall look, but this is truly a summer palette, and I think I will enjoy it more then. I'm definitely glad I purchased this at a discount rather than full price of $65. Regardless, I do love the size of this palette and hope Natasha Denona releases more at this size and price point.

Jeffree Star Alien Palette 👽✨
Hands down Jeffree Star palettes post Blood Sugar are some of my favorites! I think JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Alien Eyeshadow Palette is my favorite of them all so far. The formula is stunning! The mattes are pigmented and blend very well while the shimmers are some of the most buttery formulas I’ve used. I don’t experience any fallout or kickback. I think the only downside I have is even though the palette is super cute the 3D Alien eyes make it a little hard to store. Other than that I usually have no problems with the palette. The pigment is there. The color selection is there. The whole aesthetic is there. I’d recommend this palette to anyone looking for a more earthy toned look or any Jeffree Star fan.

I love this eyeshadow palette
This is a beautiful palette- so many fun looks you can do that will blend out effortlessly! I think my favourite is the fact that the shimmers are stunning and can create a look all by themselves! NATASHA DENONA - Sunrise Eyeshadow Palette
