Hi guys! It’s been awhile since I have posted. I wanted to share a few items I have bought over the last few months and wanted to review them! 1. SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist So I have never been a perfume/body mist person but I saw a TikTok on some pretty cheap good smelling perfumes. This girl was RAVING about the brazilian crush body mist. If you have seen my sephora bday gift post, you know I got the mini bum bum cream. I love the smell of the lotion so when I saw it was a mist I knew I had to try it out. I bought the travel version which is much cheaper and bigger than I thought it would be! I would recommend buying this size first. The travel size one is $19 and it makes me smell like a tropical vacation! I don’t wear it daily but if I am going out I feel do a few sprays on my hair, wrists, and neck. My only downside is that I feel like it doesn’t last very long but maybe that’s because I cant smell it as well as others. Since it’s technically a body mist I wasn’t expecting it to last all day though. I would highly recommend! 2. Thera Breath Fresh Breath Oral Rinse I have always had not the best smelling breath. I used Listerine but I feel it never really made a difference. I also saw this on TikTok and when I saw it was cheap and at Target I immediately bought it. It works sooo well! I’ve been told my breath smells so good just after 1 use. It’s minty but when you swoosh it around its not that burning taste that I hate. It works great and I will continue to buy it! 3. GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover I have been trying to make my switch from makeup wipes to micellar water and this is seriously the best one out there. It gets rid of everything and can take my eye makeup off with just one cotton pad. It’s cheap and is much better for your face! I have about 3 bottles of it now so I never run out! 4.TREE HUT - Brown Sugar Sugarlips Lip Scrub So I bought this about 2 months ago at Ulta because I had been looking for a new lip scrub. Tree Hut has amazing scrubs so I knew I had to try it. I got the brown sugar flavor because it smells amazing! My lips are so soft and even look a bit fuller after I use it! A little goes a long way and I use it maybe once a week. My only downside of it is that sometimes the chunks of the scrub are really big and it’s hard to move it around but try to avoid those pieces!

HOW TO GROW OUT YOUR NATURAL LASHES
Hi guys! I showed this product the GRANDE COSMETICS - GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum in my new, updated skincare routine post (which yall should check out on my page), but I wanted to do an update! This week marks the 6th week of me using this lash serum on my lashes and I wanted to give it a review! I really like this product and it definitely does the job! At first, I was a bit scared that I would have an allergic reaction or it would make my lashes fall out, but I have had a great experience with it! Here is how I apply it! 1. After I am done with all my skincare, I make sure my eyelids are completely dry and also if you wear contacts I would suggest taking those out before applying this just to be safe. I only do this at night/once a day. 2. I grab the serum and put the serum on my eyelid as if I was applying liquid eyeliner. DO NOT PUT THIS DIRECTLY ON YOUR LASHES OR EYES!! That can be very dangerous and it’s important to keep it above your lash line. 3. Do the same to the other side(personally I don’t dip the brush back into the tub, a little goes a long way with the product and I don’t want to waste it) 4. Also, I only do about 2 strokes on each eyelid since I like to make sure it has evenly applied. COST Yes, this product is expensive like most lash serums. I bought the travel size which was $34 compared to the full size which is $65. The travel size is supposed to last you up to 6 weeks but honestly I think it will last me much longer than that. I would highly recommend buying the travel size version first and testing it out also to make sure you aren’t allergic to it. Overall, I really like this product. My lashes have gotten noticeable longer and more voluminous. I know the pictures aren’t the best but I promise they look better in person. When I wear mascara now, my lashes are so long and noticeable and I actually don’t have to use 3 different mascaras to make my lashes somewhat visible! I am very happy with my purchase and I will do another update in a couple of weeks! I hope this helps anyone who wants longer, thicker lashes!

*UPDATED Morning and Night Skincare Routine!
I have switched up my routines a bit! I have very oily skin and I also tend to get acne every now and then. I took yalls suggestions and finally was able to get my hands on the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin . This cleanser is AMAZING. I already like it so much more than my Cetaphil one. It leaves my face a lot more fresh feeling and can already tell it has helped my oily skin. The next thing I changed was my sunscreen! As y’all know, my Neutrogena one was not my favorite. It was oil-free, but still made my skin feel greasy. Thankfully, Target had just stocked up on the CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin . This is hands down the best sunscreen I have ever used. It doesn’t even feel like a sunscreen, more of a mattifying primer but still hydrating. It leaves no shine on my face and gives me even more protection from the sun with the SPF 30! The last thing I changed was my eyelash routine. I still love my castor oil but I wanted to try out a product I have been hesitant about purchasing. This product is the GRANDE COSMETICS - GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum . I have used it for the last 3 nights and so far really like it! I did a patch test before to make sure I wasn’t allergic and I haven’t had any issues. It takes about 3 weeks so start seeing results so I will keep y’all updated with that! I bought the travel size so I could test it out but I apply it once everyday at night. I make sure to take my contacts out and not touch my eyes afterwards so it can dry properly. I am so happy with my new routine and I hope this helped anyone! Make sure to check out my more in depth night and morning routine posts on my page if you want to know how I use most of these products!

Sephora Birthday Gift Review
Hi guys! So today is my birthday and I went to Sephora to pick up my free birthday gift! I picked out the SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and SOL de Janeiro - Coco Cabana Cream duo. I do have to say they are much smaller than I expected but I guess that’s what you get when it’s free. The Bum Bum cream is amazing!! It smells heavenly and I have been using it on my cellulite on the back of my legs! I have been using it for a couple of days and can already see the skin tightening a bit. The formula feels amazing and definitely will be repurchasing even though it is a bit pricey. The Cabana Cream smells amazing too! It makes my skin super soft. I have been using it just as a basic body lotion especially on my hands! I probably won’t repurchase this product since it is expensive and out of the 2 I definitely would rather spend my money on the Bum Bum cream. If anyone was considering buying either of these I would highly recommend!

Underrated Product for Blackheads
Now, I am not the biggest fan of Mario Badescu but this is one of their few products that I love. It is supposed to help with the appearance of blackheads. I definitely think it does it’s job. Only downside of it is it’s very messy so I suggest applying it over a sink. All you do is wet your nose or the area you are applying the powder and dip some of the powder and start patting it onto the area. The water helps keep it in place and I leave it on for 10 minutes. You are supposed to take it off with toner so I just take a little of my DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner on a cotton pad and take it off(I don’t use this toner on a daily basis I only use it when using the Silver Powder). My nose looks almost blurred after using it and my blackheads are much smaller and not as dark. It doesn’t get rid of the blackheads but helps with the appearance. Highly recommend this product if you struggle with blackheads!

Affordable Night Routine for Oily Skin
Here is my night routine! It is pretty similar to my morning routine(sorry about the cluster of products in the picture i tried my best to tag all the products). This a pretty affordable night routine for someone who used to deal with a lot of hormonal acne. Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser Just like my morning routine, I use the Cetaphil cleanser. Sometimes i will use a bit more at night depending on if i wear makeup or not. Also i forgot to take a picture but to take off my makeup I use the GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover on a cotton pad. I try to stay away from makeup wipes and micellar water is super gentle! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Again, just like my morning routine I use 2 drops of this after cleansing. I seriously recommend this product it’s cheap and very effective! Also make sure not to touch the dropper to your face! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution So I am sure most people have heard of this amazing product. This is my 5th week using it and I can definitely see a difference in my skin! I use it once a week every Friday night. I skip the niacinamide because apparently it’s not good to mix these 2 in the same night/morning. I’m not sure if that’s backed up but just in case I skip this step every Friday night. I put 2 drops onto my fingers and gently spread it across my face. I make sure to avoid the eye area. Leave it on for 10 minutes and no longer. My scars have started to disappear and my skin feels incredible afterwards. I do also use a prescribed acne medication after this step just like my morning routine. I obviously can’t tag it but if you are struggling with acne and are able to, consider seeing a dermatologist! CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This is by far my all-time favorite moisturizer! I use the ultra-lightweight one that’s oil-free. It doesn’t feel super heavy but makes me skin feel very hydrated and soft. I have never used any other night moisturizer because I know I will always come back to this one. ESTĒE LAUDER - DayWear Eye Cooling Anti-Oxidant Moisture GelCreme I then do eye cream. I’m not super picky when it comes to eye creams as long as they are not heavy. This product is kinda random when I got it but it definitely makes my eyes feel hydrated which is all I care about. Briogeo - B. Well Organic + Cold-Pressed 100% Castor Oil I cant say enough good things about this product. I started using it about a year ago on my eyelashes and eyebrows. I use a clean spoolie and my eyelashes have grown so long. I naturally have thick eyebrows but i will kinda run the excess on them. I still have my 1st bottle and I am surprised I haven’t run out yet since I use this every night. Any castor oil works but this one comes in a bottle!

Types of Acne
As more and more people join Cherie, I am seeing an influx of posts for people asking for help in regards to their acne and breakouts. I decided to create an informative post for those who are just starting out about the different types of acne. The first umbrella category for acne is the non-inflammatory branch. Under this branch include whiteheads and blackheads. The second umbrella category for acne is the inflammatory branch. Under this branch you have pimples, papules, pustules, nodules, and cysts. Non-inflammatory: Blackheads -Otherwise known as open comedones -Occurs when a pore is clogged by a combination of sebum and dead skin cells. The top of the pore stays open despite the rest of it being clogged -The clogged pore gets oxidized by air and appears black -Treatment options are retinoids, salicylic acid, BHAs, clay masks, and charcoal masks Whiteheads -Otherwise known as closed comedones -Also form when a pore is clogged by a contamination of sebum. The top of the pore closes and looks like a small bump protruding from the skin -Whiteheads are more difficult to treat since the pore is closed. -Treatment options are retinols, salicylic acid, BHAs, and adapalene Inflammatory: Pimples -Red and swollen bumps on the skin -Caused by a buildup of sebum, dead skin cells, and bacteria -Treatment options are benzoyl-peroxide, retinols, salicylic acid, azelaic acid, sulfur, and many more Papule -Small spots on the skin that are swollen and inflamed. No puss is visible from the surface of the skin. Papules mainly occur when the walls surrounding your pores break down from severe inflammation. -The papule is hard, clogged, and tender to the touch. The skin around the papule is usually pink -Treatment options are retinols, salicylic acid, and antibiotics Pustules -Like papules, pustules also occur form the walls surrounding your pores break down from severe inflammation. The only difference between a pustule and a papule is that a pustule is filled with puss whereas a papule is not. -When a pustule emerges from the skin, it is usually red in color and has a white or yellow top -Treatment options are antibiotics, salicylic acid, sulfur, benzoyl-peroxide, and clay masks Nodules -Nodules occur when clogged, swollen pores experience further irritation and grow larger. Nodules are deep under the skin. -Nodules usually cannot be treated with over the counter products. It is best to see a dermatologist for the best treatment plan for you. Cysts -Cysts are caused by a pore being clogged with bacteria, sebum, and dead skin cells. Cysts occur deeper in the skin than nodules. Cysts will present with or without a yellow or white head and be very painful. -Treatments options are antibiotics from a dermatologist

7 Simple Ways to Minimize Large Pores That Actually Work
Pores are necessary for our body to function properly, but there’s no reason we can’t attempt to minimize their appearance. The size of your pores depends on a number of factors such as skin type, sun exposure, age, genetics, makeup, etc. Before learning how to minimize the appearance of your pores you need to understand what they are and why they’re necessary.
LET'S TALK MASCARA! 🥰
(TAGGED IN PIC FROM LEFT --> RIGHT) Today I'm going to be rating some mascaras and sharing some tips & tricks with you about, you guessed it, mascara! First let's start with tips, these will be about application & just things that may make the application easier: BEND THE WAND! I know this seems scary but it can actually help with your application & lessen the chances of smudging. So just take your wand head & bend it to a 90° angle this will allow you to maneuver the wand better and keep you from getting that clump of mascara on your nose, you know what I'm talking about. 🤣 I promise the wand will be safe & intact as long as we don't go Hulk on it. DRY MASCARA? This is one of my personal favorite hacks, if you accidentally left your mascara open or anything like that run the tube under hot water/keep it inside of a glass while doing other steps of your make up routine this will help smooth out the formula & make application 10x better. SMUDGING? Use a clean spoolie (like on the back of brow pencil) AFTER mascara has dried, if you gently brush the spoolie onto your face the mascara will begin to flake off without ruining your look! TWIRL, DON'T PUMP! I know it seems natural to pump your mascara tube for more products but please stop! When you do, it allows air inside the tube which can dry out the formula & make it susceptible to bacteria. So if you need more product, before you fully take out the wind twirl it around for even distribution of product. MIXING! I do this all the time try using more than one type of mascara, all wands are made differently so they have different purposes I like to use a voluminous and lengthening mascara! Find a formula you love & see what you can do to make it even BETTER! Lastly I just wanna touch on different application techniques - Wiggling wand: helps maintain curl - Wiggling horizontally at lash base: thicker/voluminous lashes - Wiggling vertically at lash base: natural effect Now the fun part: RATINGS! Most are waterproof formula because I feel it holds my lashes up longer. MAYBELLINE - Volum' Express The Rocket Waterproof Mascara - an old favorite! good volume not my favorite brush head, it is plastic. benefit - They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara - don't like the "They're Real" line! everything feels dry & doesn't apply well L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara - okay but too wet, smudged on me a lot L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara - great for separating, i like to pair this with other mascaras! essence - Lash Princess False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara - current fave! all essence mascaras are bangers but this one is the BEST! Too Faced - Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara - stayed put but almost too well! need industrial grade remover for this Thanks for reading. ❤️ #cheriepartner

winged liner in under a minute!
winged liner is one of my favorite makeup steps ever! I know there’s some hesitation for a lot of people, so I wanted to film this simple tutorial to show that it’s really easy! anyone can master it. in the video, I’m looking down into a mirror, I often look up to make sure the liner is turning out the way I want it. when doing this at home. you can check your work by simply stepping back from your mirror. step 1. I start my liner on the outside half of my eye. I have round eyes, and I don’t want to emphasize that roundness, so I keep the liner on the outside corner to emphasize length. step 2. I draw a straight line parallel to the ground. step 3. I draw another line, from the bottom of my eye straight up, at the angle I want my wing. step 4. connect both lines. step 5. from the furthest point, bring the liner all the way back to your first point. step 6. fill in! step 7. if you want a longer wing, you simply flick your liner from the wing you’ve already created. I used CLIO - Waterproof Pen Liner Kill which I like because it’s VERY sharp, but a softer black color. if you’re just learning how to do wings this is a good option!

Free contour tutorial here👇🏻
I took a makeup course that focused on contour before. How to make face look thinner and tiny. So I want to teach you a few kinds of contouring methods. 1. For people with round face Apply shadow on both sides of forehead and cheeks, which can make the overall face outline look slimmer. Then highlight the middle of your forehead and under your eyes. It makes the center of your face look like full of collagen. 2. Queen Style For those of you who have watched the film of Maleficent, Angelina's makeup should be very impressive. Her high cheekbones make her look strict and a trace of pomposity. If we want to draw this kind of contour, 45 angles’ shadows on both sides of the cheeks are necessary. It can lift the overall face shape up. Applying highlighter upper and lower both sides of the shadows. Don't forget the bridge of your nose by highlighting. 3. For wide checkbones Applying the shadow below the temples. To visually change the first impression of cheekbone width, pull the face forward and back is the right way. So the nose is the key area. Nose shadows and bridge highlights must be applied. Personally, I prefer the third one, because it suits my face best. You can try each one, find out the most suitable for own type!
