#cheriecreator #ad #cheriepartner Hey guys! I’m back with another review but this time on the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask. I have been using this product for years so I can say it’s definitely worth the hype. I first heard about it on youtube when I was looking for videos on how to get rid of acne. I used to suffer from really bad acne, especially on my chin area. Once I did my research, I was convinced I needed to try it. I purchased mine at my local Vitamin Shoppe but you can pretty much find it anywhere. This mask is 100% natural calcium bentonite clay and claims to deeply cleanse the skin, help heal acne breakouts and clarify the skin. There are several ways to use this mask. You can either mix the clay with water or mix is with apple cider vinegar. This mask is so effective because it really does absorb the excess oil of the skin and clean out the pores. As I stated, I used to suffer from acne and at times I do get some blemishes here and there but it’s not as bad as it used to be. I have very oily skin and large pores. I decided to mix the clay with water, knowing that it would be more harsh on my skin (my skin isn’t sensitive). It’s not recommended to leave the mask on your skin for longer than 10 minutes. I usually leave mine on until I feel it tightens, which is at the five minute mark. It’s a little more challenging to remove the mask just because it’s thicker than other masks but it’s doable. Once I remove the mask, I instantly feel my face super clean and soft. I immediately moisturize because it does tend to dry out the skin. I don’t use this mask frequently, just whenever I have a lot blemishes. I have noticed a significant change in my skin. It literally removes all the impurities from my skin. I highly recommend this mask for those with oily acne prone skin. You can’t go wrong with the price either!

this post is for all the people who have oily skin and sometimes just don’t know how to deal with it! well i’m here for some tips! I have oily/combo skin and I’ve learnt some important info during my skincare journey that I would love to share with you all 🤗 1. still moisturise it is super important for people with oily skin to keep up with moisturising ! you may think that your skin is hydrated and doesn’t need any extra moisture, but it still really does. if you don’t moisturise, or use products to keep your skin hydrated, your skin can overcompensate with releasing it’s natural oils, which in hand, can make your skin more oily 2. don’t be afraid of oils whether this is oil cleansing or any certain type of oil (rosehip, squalane etc), don’t be hesitant to use these products just because of your skin type. for me, oils have made a huge difference to my skin, especially oil cleansing! one thing to remember with oil cleansing, is that oils attract oils, and therefore are oil soluble. products like this help to get rid of grease, blackheads etc and can be great for oily skin! 3. use products targeted for oily skin I know that this one is quite self explanatory, but here are some products that helped my oily skin become more manageable! - niacinamide. this ingredient is amazing for oily skin ! it helps to decrease oil production from within the skin. my fav product is NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% , but I also don’t mind The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% -exfoliation. now with this I don’t mean physical exfoliation, but chemical exfoliation! my favourite exfoliant has to be PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator this one is my HOLY GRAIL product of them all ! IS THE AZTEC CLAY MASK OVERHYPED?

The Aztec Clay Mask is one of those skin products that has all the buzz.. literally. I found myself wanting to purchase this product for forever because of the YouTube videos and reviews. BUT some of those YouTube videos and reviews also made me not want to purchase it because some didn’t have a great experience with the product. My review: This product I guess you can say is overhyped. Didn’t really help or change my skin much like it gets hyped. Of course this is just MY personal experience with it. I have oily skin and after removing the mask it does leave my face REALLY dry. This is normal I guess??? I just don’t like it. The mask is supposed to have many benefits and in most cases help with acne and clear up one’s face. When waiting for the 15 minutes to end the mask tightens up in the skin which means it’s working. The mask itself is a bit uncomfortable on the skin but after a few uses you get used to it. I’ve been using this mask for over 4-5 months now and I use it when I want to bring out the impurities from my skin. Not life changing for my skin but an okay mask! I give it a 3/5. Please let me know if you have had the same experience or a different experience with this Aztec clay mask! :)🤍

If you have oily, acne prone skin with large pores, I definitely recommend the Aztec Secret Indian Clay mask! I noticed a difference in the size of my pores after ONE USE. It doesn’t irritate skin, and it really helps to take all the toxins out. Not to mention the price is AMAZING. AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay This clay mask is targeted at people that want to deep cleanse and remove dirt from their skin. This is a great mask for people that want to draw out impurities from their skin and clear out pores. Don’t we all? But I’m specially looking at you you acne-prone skin people! Just like me! This is a huge jar of powder that when you mix it with water or vinegar it turns into clay and a mask. This contains bentonite clay which is such a great ingredient for drawing out all the nasties from our skin. I really enjoyed using this and now I’m steering away to other masks but it clears up everything and leaves my skin smooth. I used to use this once a week. This is so cheap too! I totally recommend this mask for everyone! It’s so cheap (I think in the US it’s 7 bucks) so in the worst case you give away the big jar or you lose 7 dollars. Doesn’t sound bad to me if this can eventually clear up your skin a bit! I mix mine with water and actually have never tried it with apple cider vinegar like most. I’m too lazy ahaha but I’ve heard it works too! For me it works great with only water. Considering the price, the amount you get and what it does + ingredients this gets a 4.5/5 (5/5)

This is so amazing you can feel it sucking the gunk right out of your pores! It’s fun to use it you mix it and apply with a fan brush. It was under $10 at Ross and you know Ross and Marshall’s has all the same stuff too. You don’t have to waste your money on expensive acne masks. This will dry up any pimple almost completely over night, and this size tub will last a VERY long time. I’ve had this a year. I do not use vinegar to mix it. I use water and leave it on only ten minutes. I am absolutely not above starting a self care movement at midnight to give my skin a little TLC before my only day off, tomorrow.
