why hers isn’t a good choice

i saw an ad on instagram about a prescribed acne cream that helps with your personal skin concerns called hers, so i decided to look into it. you first have to send in some pictures of your face and a dermatologist will eventually reach out to you and suggest the ingredients they think will work best to help your skin concerns. after that, they will make a bottle with your own special cream and you’ll have the option to purchase a year long supply, a bottle is $45 which should last you a month. i did that and had really high expectations because c’mom it’s a dermatologist prescribing me with the solution to my acne concerns, BUT i was wrong. the hers product did absolutely NOTHING for me but make my acne worse. i do not recommend it, it’s a waste of time and money. i had it for a couple months and every time i tried to cancel they offered me a discount or recommended me to give it more time to work but a year is too long to see ANY results. i ended up cancelling my prescription, waited two weeks with just washing my face with the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin
and after applying the CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream
in the night and Neutrogena - Neutrogena Oil Free Facial Moisturizer Sunscreen
since it’s recommenced to wait about 2 weeks to (re)introduce your skin to new products. i then went back to my old skin routine which is:
double cleansing with Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser
which helps so much with my acne since it contains salicylic acid
here and there i’ll use the Aveeno - Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial Cleanser
while in the shower
after my face dries, i apply Aveeno - Daily Moisturizer
in the night which also has salicylic acid
if it’s daytime and the suns out then i’ll use Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
i have oily skin so sometimes it’s enough moisturizer but when my face feels a little dry, i’ll apply Aveeno - Active Naturals, Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Fragrance Free
my skin looks better now then it did trying prescribed products!

LindWoodHow often do you use this night cream?

rosseee_23it’s suppose to be 2-3 pumps every day before going to bed and wash it off every morning to add sunscreen because it does make your skin a little more sensitive to the sun. i specifically used it every evening for a couple months.

Product Mentioned
🍃Summer to Fall Body Lotion🍃
🍃 I have sensitive combination skin that leans more towards dry. And when the seasons change, so does my skincare! With cooler colder seasons, we can’t help but blast the heater, drying out my skin even more! Not to mention there’s absolutely no sweat production, aka drier skin as well. Therefore, it’s super important to change my skincare along with he seasons to give my skin the extra care it needs. 🍃With naturally dry skin, with the change of the season, it becomes even drier. One day of not putting on lotion and my skin becomes ashy. 🍃The body lotion I currently use is the #Nivea - Extra White Radiant & Smooth Lotion[products]#[FiveStars] . This product claims to moisturize and brighten skin with with the formula that utilizes vitamin C and has a UV filter to fight against UV rays. I bought this product in an Asian store but Nivea definitely sales this on their website as well. The texture is a more loose and liquidy lotion that glides on the skin super easily. It also gets absorbed extremely fast. Leaving the skin feeling moisturized yet not tacky at all. The scent is absolutely amazing too yet not overpowering which I love. I use this lotion in the summer since it is so lightweight. However, if I use this on cooler fall/winter days. The moisture content is defiantly not enough. 🍃The body lotion that I swap to is the trusty ole Aveeno - Active Naturals, Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Fragrance Free . The product claims to provide dry skin with moisture within 1 day of usage. It also says that the skin will become healthy looking and will be soft and smooth. The consistency is lightweight and smooth. It is also fragrance-free! I have dry and sensitive skin and the product is for dry skin and is also dermatologist recommended since it includes active naturals such as soothing oats. I highly recommend this product for all skin types and especially for the coming up cooler season. #cheriepartner

No more oily forehead
so I got the Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser and I love how it helps with my oily forehead. I have to wear an eye shield at school and at the end of the day where it hits my forehead would be an oil slick...gross. Started using this and no more oil slick. However I gave it 4 stars because I have combo skin and it dries out my face. So if you try it use caution. Today I used it on only my forehead and my nose a bit, so my whole face wasn't so dry.

I need help!!
I don't know what these scabs are all from - but I guess it's from cystic acne right? I think I might've spread the infection to my nose by picking at the one on my chin (the red spot), which has been switching between healing and being infected for a few years. So I guess I have cystic acne then, right? What are some products that help? I appreciate anyone helping me !! ❤️❤️ A few things to add: I do have one hole on my chin right near that big red one, which sometimes is a blackhead and other times is just there infected I guess. The red spot on my left nostril oozes this yellowy stuff, same with my chin, and becomes a scab and the flakes if that cyst is disrupted/picked at/if the skin tears or moves (both of the cysts tend to hurt a lot and ooze a lot because they're on spots of my face that move a lot. I wouldn't have such a big problem if these were on my forehead or cheek) Some products I have for acne & redness: Clearasil - Daily Clear Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment Murad - Blemish Control Rapid Relief Spot Treatment Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%

Don’t know what to do anymore T^T
Not sure if anyone will see this, but if you do please help me out. My skin isn’t usually acne prone but my skin has been breaking out a lot more especially around my chin and forehead. Not sure if its due to stress, hormones, or my mask but I’ve been trying to keep it basic but its not working (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Aveeno - Daily Moisturizerwith salicylic acid Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 BURT’S BEES - Cleansing Oil with Coconut & Argan Oils BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I use all the products listed above both day and night (sunscreen during the day ofc) while the cleansing balm and oil only used during the night for my double cleanse system, and the peeling solution only once a week. I also sometimes use pimple patches for whenever my pimples are getting really big.

Drugstore moisturizer for oily skin! 👌
This moisturizer is my absolute fav! I have acne-prone and oily skin, and this really helps to control my oil production. This contains salicylic acid that travels deep into the pores and combats that acne. Also, it’s oil free! Perfect for oily/combo skin types. I have been using this moisturizer since middle, and I haven’t really changed it up since. This is the one product that I can always come back to. It absorbs pretty quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave any sticky or greasy feeling afterwards. Feels just like skin! The consistency is like that of a cream/lotion. The best part is that this can be found at any drugstore. I’m a sucker for quality, drugstore brands and products! This one is definitely a hit.💫

Now exiting my skin care routine
I saw this product get really hyped up, so I said “ok, $7 ain’t bad so let’s try it out” I don’t think my skin got better or worse to be honest. But for the last 2 weeks I broke out baaaaaaad. The product didn’t help. What did help was the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin (it’s gooooood) Some things I didn’t like: I didn’t like how the serum feels so sticky. didn’t do any brightening to my skin. For brightening try MARIO BADESCU - Vitamin C Serum (it actually works) didn’t help with my breakouts RUNS OUT TOO FAST. I would only use 1 pump, and it’s run out quicker than any other product I’ve used before. Every skin is different. The product is less than $10 dollars so it’s affordable.

Morning Skincare Routine for Oily Skin
I used to struggle with bad, hormonal acne about a year ago and I am so happy to have a morning and night routine that actually works for my skin! I have pretty oily skin and definitely still break out every now and then so it’s not perfect but much better than it was a year ago! Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (this is the one for normal to oily skin) I don’t use much but I use it morning and night! I have tried so many cleansers but I always come back to this one! I just wet my face and apply about a pump to my face and gently rub it in then wash off with water and PAT dry. Don’t rub the towel/cloth into your face it can be damaging and irritating. Cheap and works amazing! It is also not super over drying! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I just started using this about a week ago so I can’t really say how much it’s done but so far I love it!! I also use it morning and night. I apply 2 drops into my hand(do not touch the dropper to your face) and gently PAT the serum into my dry face. Once it starts feeling tacky, I know it has settled into my skin. I only use 2 drops because a little goes a long way and you really don’t need more than that to cover your entire face. I do use a prescribed acne treatment morning and night so that has a lot to do with my skin clearing up. I use it right after this step and mix it in with my moisturizers since it won’t work on my dry face by itself. Neutrogena - Neutrogena Oil Free Facial Moisturizer Sunscreen I then use SPF which is super important to do in the morning. I don’t love this sunscreen but it’s the only one I have currently. I do want to try out the CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30once I have the chance to purchase it. I’m not super picky with my morning moisturizer as long as it doesn’t make my skin look greasy. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Eye Gel-Cream I love this eye cream for the mornings since it is hydrating and if I do wear makeup, makes that go on easily. It’s also not heavy which is a big thing for me. I prefer gel eye creams over heavier creams.

Exfoliation 101 - Let's burst some myths!
Let's get to know about exfoliants more! No matter if you're a skincare junkie, expert or just a beginner, skin exfoliation can be very tricky and confusing and most of the mainstream skin advices can be minimally backed by science and geared towards selling the product or giving you false information. That's how skincare myths are formed. I'm talking about some pretty known myths about Exfoliation : ✨Like, Physical exfoliants/scrubs are bad for your skin and they cause micro-tears that lead to infection or they're worse than Chemical exfoliants: Physical exfoliants that contain irregular granular sizes and shapes are definitely going to irritate your skin. But if you're a well-experienced skincare person or someone who knows how to handle gentle, small granular exfoliants well like professionals, in such hands it can be a very effective. Take Micro-dermabrasion or Dermaplaning for instance. If you haven't done it before it's likely to cause you some irritation, I wouldn't say damage as it's a truly strong and deep term to use. Our skin can naturally heal itself to a large degree, that self-healing capability can be overstressed with exogenous (outside/physical) factors and sometimes Indogenous (inner) factors such as your ethnicity, genetics and some skin conditions like dermititis, rosacea or psoriasis. So, my point here is, the myth that only physical exfoliators cause any damage to our skin is incorrect. On top of that, physical exfoliants cause micro-tears is a far stretched myth that doesn't have enough scientific evidence to support. The thing about it is anything harsh on our skin is going to cause inflammation and redness but chemical exfoliants can cause the same if done too much. For our skin to break or tear and get a cut there needs to be a lot of pressure and sharpness to the object. The scrubs don't necessarily tear/cut our skin unless you're rubbing it too harsh or with a lot of pressure and over-doing it. Chemical exfoliators can overstress and irritate our skin at the same degree as well, if overdone. Damage is a strong word for any skincare regimen that is backed by science. It's a fairly vast topic to discuss here but here's the crux of the topic that I'm trying to highlight. Not over-exfoliating is the only key to keep our skin healthy and non-irritated. Be it physical or chemical exfoliants. We need some of the dead skin cells on our Stratum Corneum. Meaning, we should let our Stratum Corneum have a layer of some dead skin cells along with it's biome. The diverse yet integrated functions of the SC collectively serve to detect, protect, respond, and/or adapt against several exogenous factors. Now, why I like or majority of people like chemical exfoliants is because they seem to be hustle free, you apply a thin layer and leave it overnight or for few minutes and it thins down our Stratum Corneum that is the deal skin cells on our skin as well as penetrates deeper in skin and decongests it. But for many people chemical exfoliants can be quite intimidating and if they like to do manual Exfoliation it's totally fine as long as they're not putting a lot of pressure and overdoing it. ✔️👍 I like both physical and chemical exfoliation. I use these chemical facial peeling solutions or masks as well as gentle scrubs to take care of my dead skin. These are some of the exfoliators I use. These are all types of exfoliators, Physical - Scrubs, Peeling gels Chemical - Facial AHA, BHA masks, solutions, in shower facials These are the ones I don't find so attractive for the price: Scrubs: 1. @avantskincare Gentle Rose beautifying facial exfoliant 114$avant - Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant The ones I like: Scrubs: 1. @skinandco Face gommage 26$SKIN&CO - Truffle Therapy Gommage Peeling gels: 1. @wishfulskin Yo Glow enzyme scurb 39$HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub 2. @saturdayskin Rub-a-dub Refining peel gel 28$SATURDAY SKIN - Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel Instant Facial masks/solutions: 1. @theordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 7.20$The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 2. @olehenriksen PHAT Glow Facial™ Mask 50$OLE HENRIKSEN - PHAT Glow Facial Mask 3. @aveeno POSITIVELY RADIANT® 60 Second In-Shower Facial Aveeno - Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial Cleanser

Hi friends👋🏼 I’ve been using this wreck of a year to FINALLY start taking care of my skin! I did a TON of research over the summer and finally started a multi-step routine last month. I’d appreciate some seasoned skincare advice, since I’m still mostly a newbie 🥺 ☀️ Cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin (works well, no strong medicated scent, and it makes me feel clean right away!) Toner: DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner (not great, not bad, just an average toner) Serums: COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (can already see a difference on my nose/chin after just a week!) DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum (LOVE this serum! I can already see a slight brightening of my skin after 1 week. I also love the smell🥰) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Only gave 3 stars because I can’t tell if the recent decrease in acne is due to starting this or my period ending?) Eye Cream: VERSED - VACATION EYES Brightening Eye Gel (pretty sure this isn’t doing anything... I just keep using it because I already have it...) Spot Treatment: Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment (Similarly to TO, can’t tell yet if this is working or if my acne was more hormonal¿) Moisturizer: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream Sunscreen: Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 🌚 Make-Up Remover: CeraVe - Makeup Removing Cleanser Cloths (I use these on my lazy evenings) 1st Cleanse: VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm (LOOOVE. Helps get everything loose for my 2nd cleanse) 2nd Cleanse: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin *Same Serums/Eye Creams/Spot Treatment as AM* Retinol: CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum (using every night and I don’t think it’s too harsh, but it’s also not doing much?) Moisturizer: CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream (very rich & creamy!) Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Healing Jelly, Rich Moisturizing (on lips and extra dry areas for locked in moisture through the night) What’s the verdict? Are there products I should add/remove/change the order of? I REALLY want a better eye cream and have heard good things about THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream??I’m also thinking about replacing my current toner with THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Liquid Toner 100ml. Day one of Tretinoin 0.04%
I’m a special ed teacher of students with moderate intellectual disabilities. Currently doing both in person (hello maskne) and online teaching (aka stressssssss). Also my district told me 3 days ago I’m getting three new students so stress times ten!! I never used to get breakouts. They started probably my junior year of college, so four and a half years ago. I’ve always been conscious of skin care and my acne never got out of hand, I just could never get rid of the ever present 2-5 pimples on my face at all times. They definitely appear most around my period. Its definitely the worst it has ever been this year with a lot of added stress on top of wearing a mask all day long. I feel like I’ve tried everything. Over the last five years I’ve gotten on birth control, done proactiv, Curology, rodan + fields, differin, every benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid face wash or mask out there, I even drink a teaspoon of liquid chlorophyll every day to try and detox from within. I also drink at least 64 oz of water every day. I try to drink more, but as a teacher I don’t get many bathroom breaks. I’m beyond frustrated and feel like I just can’t get my face clear! I gave Differin a solid chance because I really thought that, since it used to be prescription only, it would work. After 4 months of using it, I feel like it did an okay job. I never really got big painful pimples, but I never really got those anyway and I was still getting the same amount of overall breakouts each month. I decided I need to try something stronger, but I didn’t want to have to go to the dermatologist. That’s when I found Rory! I was prescribed Tretinoin 0.04% with Azelaic Acid 0.8% and Vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. It was $5 for my first bottle and will be $75 every 3 months from here on out. I got approved within a few hours and it arrived at my apartment in 2 days. I’m doing this post because I never actually take pictures to compare progress (because I’m so sick of never actually seeing any progress!!) and to try to wish for some good results finally! Here’s the rest of the routine that I’ll be doing: AM- LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser VICHY - LiftActiv Specialist Peptide-C Anti-Aging Ampoules VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer Bioré - UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ PM- VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm spectro - Jel Cleanser VICHY - Minéral 89 Face Serum COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream Then I’ll do the Tretinoin last Wish me luck!!!

Week 2 of Tretinoin and Spirinolactone Journey
Week 2 of Tretinoin and Spirinolactone Journey
This is the end of my second week on Spirinolactone (pills for hormonal acne that I take 1x a day) and Tretinoin. The first half is a repeat of last week’s post except for a cleanser switchout. All other new info will be profit below my posted routine. I purchased both treatments from Apostrophe, so they have been prescribed by a dermatologist. My Apostrophe cream formula is 0.025% and 4% Niacinimide. I’ve simplified my routine to only include a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, the tret cream, and a sunscreen. I have normal skin. I’m looking to add more products in as I adjust to treatment. My routine is as follows: AM CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 PM CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Apostrophe formula (using this after moisturizer so I can have a buffer between the tret and my skin) I changed cleansers because I’ve heard of some people having bad experiences with Cetaphil. Though this hasn’t been the car for me, I already had the Cerave cleanser in my house and thought it would be best to have a matching cleanser and moisturizer. I started using the Cerave moisturizer before The Aveeno moisturizer with sunscreen because I felt my skin has been drier lately. Ugh, I feel like my progress has been minimal so far. It’s even more discouraging when I’m looking at before and after pictures of people on tret for 2-3 months after and their skin is flawless. I’m worried if tret will get rid of my dark spots that fast. Dark spots are my main concern and have been something that bothered me the most. To bring me to reality, I read more and found out that many people have been using tret everyday, rather than working their way up to everyday usage. This might be why the results have been quicker for others. For one person, they posted a dramatic before and after pic though they have been using tret for only 3 weeks! Fortunately, I’ve seen that the amount of new acne has been reduced since I’ve tret. Since I’m all for numbers, I only had two new pimples this new week. The rest are healing or dark spots. I’ve been applying tret 3x a week. But I’m excited to move into using it every other day starting August 2nd and hopefully waiting for more dramatic progress. Using Spirinolactone, I’m realizing I need to drink way more water than I have before. I’ve been feeling a lot of fatigue and dizziness with the medication. However, the more water I’ve been drinking the less these symptoms have been occurring. I know I just have to be patient with my progress as everyone’s skin reacts differently to tret. Wishing everyone the best 🦋

My Apostrophe cream formula is 0.025% Tretinoin and 4% Niacinimide. I’ve simplified my routine to only include a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, the tret cream and a sunscreen. I have normal skin. I’m looking to add more in as I adjust to treatment. My routine is as follows: AM Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 PM Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Apostrophe formula (using this after moisturizer so I can have a buffer between the tret and my skin) So the morning after my first night of using tret, I experienced a bit of dryness in my forehead and on my nose. The quick fix for me was applying my moisturizer on slightly damp skin, rather than waiting until my skin was completely dry. I started breaking out two nights ago. I woke up with like 8 new friends on my face overnight😫. But this could also have been due to the food I was eating over the past couple of days. I happily enjoyed my tofu scramble with sriracha knowing darn well my dermatologist told me to avoid spicy foods and soy. 🥴 So, I’m cutting off soy, spicy foods, and dairy to see whether the food led to a flare up or if this was an early start to my purge. I’ve got these painful, hard bumps on my forehead and the pimples on my cheeks feel a bit sensitive. But, I’m going to wait it out and see how I feel before I apply tret in a couple of days. I’m still applying tret 3x a week, but plan to move to every other day at the start of August. As for the Spirinolactone, I’ve had to pee waaay more often than I usually do, but so glad I’m confined to my house during time. More updates next week 😊

UPDATE ON MY CERAVE SKINCARE ROUTINE
UPDATE ON MY CERAVE SKINCARE ROUTINE
so I just started using these products exactly 2 weeks ago and I don’t really have any before or after pics but I do see a difference.! Before my acne was very inflamed and now it’s more smooth if that makes any sense. Some of the redness has also gone down. I still have a long way to go as far as the scaring etc. but if you guys have any tips for acne scars for sensitive skin (i think I have combo skin but I’m really not sure) please let me know!! Now I will go into depth with these products thanks for reading :)) The CeraVe Sa cleanser : Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars I really like this cleanser so far! It’s very smooth and doesn’t have much lather which I like!! it really got most of my pimples and acne gone within 2 weeks! It does exfoliate your skin every time you use it (I found this out from one of the comments :) so I make sure to only use it once a day. I’m still debating if I should get a skincare night routine as well but I’m not sure yet. Anyways to sum it up I really like this product so far and it hasn’t caused any trouble to my skin as far as I can see. The CeraVe Sa moisturizing lotion: Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 and a half/5 stars I really like this product! I’m just not sure it’s really right for me. It does leave my face feeling moisturized but almost greasy at the same time I might be using to much. But I do like it! I still have a big bottle so I’m not sure if I will be getting any new moisturizers any time soon but I am open to suggestions! The CeraVe SPF 30 sunscreen moisturizing lotion Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A lot of people had a problem with this since it doesn’t leave a white tint behind but I really love this product. The won’t tint doesn’t really bother me it might mess with someone who might wear makeup but I don’t so.. yeah. I would definitely recommend. But I am open to suggestions for a new one! Maybe something with more protection since it is summer time! Thank you guys so much for reading :))

Let’s talk about CeraVe products. CeraVe is a skincare brand that does not contain fragrance or alcohol ingredients. CeraVe has gentle working products including face wash, face lotion, etc. CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin CeraVe’s Foaming Facial Cleanser is a cleanser that was developed with dermatologists and removes facial oil without disrupting the skin’s protective barrier while keeping your skin soft for 24 hours. 💆‍♀️💆‍♀️ Based off of my experience with the product, the cleanser works great, and hasn’t caused me to break out or cause me to have rashes. Though, the cleanser is very gentle and works at its own pace. If you ever plan on getting this product, you will not see huge results for a few weeks, maybe about a month. You start to see small changes in your skin every few days. For this product to correctly work, you must be committed and wash your face 2 times per day. ☺️☺️ CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin So from my perspective, this product is a little overrated to me. 😶When I used this product I felt like I got enough moisture from the cleanser than the lotion. So as soon as I finished the bottle, I turned to the Cetaphil Moisturizer and I am now seeing a difference in my skin. So for my skin, I just feel like it’s a normal, basic moisturizer. So I would definitely recommend the cleanser and if you are willing to give it a shot, get the moisturizer also! Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion Helpful Tip: ⚠️Please remember that Cetaphil is usually better for oily skin than normal skin. ⚠️I have more of oily skin and Cetaphil works great for me! Enjoy your fresh skin!✨

update on curology
curology seems to be working! i’ve seen less breakouts! usually when i get breakouts i get a bunch of little bumps. but now i’ve just gotten like single bigger pimples which kind of bothers me but at least i don’t get big breakouts. although this does seem to be working it dries out my skin quite a lot! my eczema is starting to flare and i’m now using the CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin which helps my skin a lot! hopefully my skin continues to clear up and also stays hydrated! i’ll keep you guys updated.
