I have suffered with acne for years. I came across these products about a year ago on Sephora - they were selling this exact mini gift set for a fantastic price. I bought it, tried them out, and was unsure it was doing anything at first other than really hydrating my skin. It wasn’t until I stopped using them after they ran out that I realized what a difference they had made for my skin! My acne and redness had almost completely cleared up and the texture and quality of my skin was way better. I can’t recommend this vitamin c line enough if you have acne and redness and are more on the dryer skin side.

Went a little overboard on the recent makeup haul! First off the NATASHA DENONA - Glam Eyeshadow Palette is amazing!! The pigments are incredible and I’m so happy with my first Natasha Denona Palette. DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer is my favorite concealer OF ALL TIME! And I had to restock! JOSIE MARAN - Argan Daily Moisturizer Mineral SPF Protect and Perfect is a little thick but it smells amazing! SOL BODY - Face &Bbody Bronzing Balm it’s a nice bronzer but I feel like there are others out that perform similar. Plus I like a powder bronzer better, however the sol body brush is AMAZING!! OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème I love this eye Creme! Dry Lux and brightening! HOURGLASS - Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 I loved this sample if the hourglass primer and will definitely pick it up when I empty some others!!
Dark under 👁 circles
I’m starting a series that will highlight different skin struggles. Let’s talk about one we all hate- Dark under eye circles🌑 While a lack of sleep is the most widely known cause of dark circles under the eyes, there are other contributors as well, including basic things you may not realize. Increased stress and irritation from constantly rubbing your eyes. Allergies Two super easy things you can do to prevent these pesky things are.... DON’T RUB YOUR EYES!! This will break the blood vessels in the delicate under-eye area. Wear sunglasses all the time with UVA/UVB protection. The sun weakens the collagen and elastic tissue in the under-eye area, including the collagen in the blood vessels, making them more likely to rupture. One not so easy thing you can do is try to get more sleep which can be hard depending on your lifestyle and commitments but your body and your skin needs 8 hours of sleep each night if possible! You can also try some of these highly recommend treatments 🌸 Murad - Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Color Corrector CLINIQUE - Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist Anti-Aging Eye Gel One last tip is use a chilled jade roller or an ice roller after cleansing but do it gently. This take away the puffiness and give your under eye area a better over all look. 👀 Do you want me to feature a certain skin struggle ? Let me know in the comments! ❤️

This is what I do every night😴💐💙
I used to never wash my face before bed. Not even after being in a salon all day. Gross, right? I didn’t care. My skin was clear and I looked easily five years younger than I was, even at 30. Then slowly I started to see fine lines around my eyes and then my lips and now I can sometimes see a crease or a new line on my forehead. I can see that time is starting to change my face. I don’t mind. I actually think I’m becoming more attractive as I age. But that may also be wishful thinking. Regardless, I don’t mind aging, but I really want to be graceful and smooth. Not red, puffy and bumpy. So, I needed a skin care routine and had no idea where to start. You have to start at the beginning and just wash your face. Ok. I bought some of that fancy charcoal soap for clarifying. You know the one at Whole Foods that’s black and white and smells like lemon grass? Let me tell you, put that on your body, not your face. It left me so red and burny. So I had to try it again a week later, because that’s what I do I guess. Same result equals insanity right? So I got on Sephora and started looking at face cleansers and found the Purity and it is really wonderful and ALMOST perfect. I wish it was truly an all in one product but you have to work it a bit. I don’t like using wash cloths on my face but I sometimes want something more than my fingers to work off my makeup so I like to use the Aveeno wipes first. I use full coverage foundation and mascara every day and depending on how much I’ve built it I may have up to 3 layers of mascara on so I need double duty but gentle care. The Aveeno wipes are neck in neck with the Neutrogena wipes. I like them both the same for removing most of my makeup before I wash my face with Purity and water. I use mostly warm water bordering on hot when I wash my face. I want all the makeup off and I want my pores opened and ready for the Truth Serum. That has done wonders to smooth the texture of my skin. I used to use only a little dab, and I still do if it’s going to be under my makeup but at night I am now much more liberal and I really kinda load it up just because it’s so great and I wish I could put it all over my whole body. After that I use the Glow Recipe Avocado mask with retinol on my eye area, and this is my newest addition to my routine. I just got it and I am so happy to have such a luxury eye care cream. It’s got great reviews and before and after pictures online. I love how it melts into my skin. I definitely feel like my eyes are smoother and more awake looking. After that I use the C-Rush, all over everywhere else on my face except for my eyes. I really like this selection by Ole Henrikson and I recommend it for anyone that wants to improve the general condition of their facial skin. Combined with the Truth Serum, this has really changed my skin texture and appearance for the better and I really enjoy slathering it in my face at night. I use it only at night because it just doesn’t feel right under my makeup.
Sensitive/Dry Skin Relief - IMMEDIATE RESULTS 🤩
Okay so I’m pretty much a skin care noob and have been browsing Cherie for the past month or so looking to change that 😇 I have sensitive/dry skin throughout the year and have used some moisturizers in the past that worked until they didn’t... The products I’ve used in the past while hydrating, left my face feeling oily/sticky pretty much all day after application and clogged my pores pretty badly. I’ve had a lot of success with hyaluronic acid body creams and really loved how it worked for my legs/arms so I was looking for some kind of cream that would give me that same affect but for my face. After a little bit of research, I settled on trying out PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream and oh my goodness it has done WONDERS for my dry skin. The product is recommended to be applied twice a day and advertises to last atleast 72 hours after application. You could definitely apply once after your morning face wash and still have that moisturized feeling all day. I’m honestly in love. I was very worried about trying out another product only to have it leave the same oily/sticky feeling and clogged pores but this cloud cream is SO LIGHTWEIGHT while leaving a cooling feeling all day since it draws atmospheric vapor from your surroundings. I’m a huuuuuge night owl and for sure don’t get the recommended 8 hours of sleep which shows from the apparent dark circles under my eyes... 🙇🏻♀️ I picked up OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer I had been looking for a good eye cream that would help fix that issue and reduce the appearance of my wrinkles. I wish I had taken before/after pics because I promise you I have seen an INSANE difference in just two uses. I apply this morning and night before bed. Product is pretty small but well worth the price as you don’t need to apply much. It also leaves a barely noticeable shimmer under your eyes which I love!!!

This daily morning routine has saved my skin 🍊
Start every morning with this routine and some hot lemon water. 🍋 Quick disclaimer I’m a HUGE Ole Henriksen fan 💫 I use Ole Henriksen truth juice daily cleanser to cleanse my face everyday, on days that I feel a little more oily or just want a good scrub on my face I’ll use Ole Henriksen pore-balance facial sauna scrub. It feels sooo amazing, it’s hot when your scrubbing it into your skin and it’s cool as soon as you wash it off 🥵🥶OLE HENRIKSEN - Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser Next I like to use both a toner and an essence. I use Ole Henriksen balancing force oil control toner. After cleansing I use this with a cotton pad going all over my face and neck.OLE HENRIKSEN - Balancing Force Oil Control Toner Next, I use FRESH black tea kombucha essence. I just put a couple drops into my hands and pat it all over my face and neck.fresh - Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence Nyc Limited Edition Next, I use Ole Henriksen truth serum (Ive been using this for years and it’s amazing I’ll probably use it for many many more) Again just putting it into my hand and putting it all over my face and neck. OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Serum I then use The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid 2% + B5 before I use my moisturize. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I use Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide creme all over my face and next. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream Followed by my eye creams I use a very small amount of The Ordinary Caffeine solution 5% + EGCG The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Then I use a pea sized amount of the banana bright eye creme by Ole Henriksen to follow. OLE HENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème After all that I top with Joise Maran argon daily SPF 47 JOSIE MARAN - Replacement Pump for Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47 & Argan Oil Hair Serum (not in the photo because I broke the bottle 😫 ) I wanna love this product but it’s super suppppppper heavy/creamy for my skin.. so if your a little more oily just watch out for this! I am looking for something a little more light weight so if you have recommendations, let a girl know 🙋🏽♀️ Thanks 💫💞
Get Your Vitamin C 🍊
I’ve been using the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum for about a month now. It’s a vitamin c serum that’s supposed to help brighten skin. I started off with the trial-sized bottle and I really like it. I’ve noticed increased brightness since I started using it and a little bit goes a long way. Two pumps covers my face, neck and chest. I was able to make the trial bottle last the whole month (I still have some left!). The serum is smooth and sinks into skin after a few second. I think I’ll buy another bottle! I’d give it 4.5 stars if it was an option, but I’m giving four just because the scent is a little over the top fake orangey. It is also expensive ($72 for a large bottle, $50 for a medium bottle and $24 for the trial size), but, like I said, it really lasts. I still recommend! OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Serum
My favorite products in my routine!
So this is my first post- totally open to feedback here! Note: I am not a professional in the skincare industry- solely someone that has figured out what works for her and want to share products that have been really effective for my daily + weekly routine as someone that’s been working to manage dry/combination, fair + occasionally pretty sensitive skin 🙌🏼 TRULY - Eye Candy Anti-Puff Eye Cream I put this baby on before bed and when I wake up in the morning- it instantly adds brightness! I apply around the main areas of my eyes and also above my eyebrows. I find I don’t really need to use anything make-up wise except for a BB cream or tinted moisturizer now that I regularly use this beforehand! Fragrance-free. Mamonde - Lip Sleeping Mask I’ll start this off by saying I don’t use this at night- it’s pretty heavy and leaves residue on my pillow (plus I’m a side sleeper 😅), but it’s EPIC during the day! I’ll wear it under my mask and I find within an hour, my lips are so supple and soft and it lasts all day. Otherwise if I’m at home all day, I’ll reapply one more time in the evening after I’ve had dinner and brushed my teeth. TRULY - Mary Jane CBD Glow Serum I love this- AM + PM routine. It’s super calming and keeps my skin from feeling dried out, or from getting any redness or irritation I’ve gotten in the past when I’ve been out in the sun for longer periods of time during the day. I also mix this with my retinol cream sometimes in the morning. More details on that below! On days where my skin feels extra dry, I’ll mix this with TRULY - Purple Rain Glow Serum (not pictured but fantastic!) RoC - Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer LOVE THIS STUFF. For PM I use their night version. I’ve noticed with any breakouts I’ve ever gotten since using this, that it dries those little guys out and away while keeping my skin feeling very dewy. It takes a hot second to blend in and can feel oily at first, but after a few minutes it sets in and my skin feels super soft the rest of the day. On days where I notice I’m breaking out or if I have some redness (or when I ate a ton of sugar 🍑🍓🍫🍬), I’ll mix this retinol cream with the Mary Jane CBD serum. I try to avoid using this leading up to days where I know I’ll be out at the beach or in the harsh heat for longer amounts of time, and instead opt for a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream with SPF 25 or more, in addition to some spray-on sunscreen I can lightly spritz on after a few hours. I’ll also avoid using the retinol cream a few days before I get my eyebrows threaded or pluck myself, or on days where I plan on doing some deep face exfoliating. I have some more products that I use for exfoliating that I’d love to share in another post, for anyone interested in a solid shaving routine for super difficult, sensitive legs and lady bits ✨ Thanks for reading!
TRULY-Eye Candy Anti-Puff Eye Cream
LANEIGE Time Freeze Essence, Eye Serum and Intensive Cream. Being a long-time user of the brand, I was thinking that now that I’m entering my 30s, it’s time to upgrade my skincare routines; moving from their brightening (White Plus Renew) to anti-aging skincare line, Time Freeze so I got these 3 products to try. Another reason would be, I really liked their Firming Sleeping Mask which was later added to the Time Freeze line becoming Time Freeze Firming Sleeping Mask even better than the Water Sleeping Mask. After incorporating them for about 3 weeks into my routine, my skin felt terribly uncomfortable as I had major breakouts along my jawline and that’s when I decided to move to another anti-aging skincare line from different brand. Overall, 2/5. The textures were really nice and easily applied on skin but maybe I can go back to this skincare line in my 40s as the formula is too intense for me right now.
Made just for me! Thankful for you, Curology 🙏
Thankful for all things self-care and skincare! On top of the Birchbox hydration set, Curology has also been on my daily skincare routine lately. Such simple skincare routine all geared towards hydrating dehydrated skin. Honestly, the best why to combat oiliness is restoring hydration or sustaining hydration in our skin. Curology has been part of my night time skincare routine. It’s been cold and I’ve been feeling lazy. I needed a routine that was simple, effective, and quick! Curology’s 3 step skincare on top of the derma e hydrating eye cream and dr.jart ceramidin cream. I double cleanse and double moisturize just because the formula curated for me are drying. What were my skin concerns? • Oiliness/ Sebum/clogged pores • Large pores • Dark Circles/ Wrinkles / Fine Lines •Firmness What my PA-C curated just for me: • 4% Niacinamide - great for wrinkles & fine lines as well as hydration • 2% Azelaic Acid - great for combative acne, redness/irritation, and hyperpigmentation. • 1% Clindamycin - an antibiotic. This is targets the acne causing bacterias that test in our face. #prophylaxis hahaha has to drop some RN verbiage there 😅
Paula’s Choice RESIST Anti-Aging Eye Gel
Another Paula's Choice goody today! This right here is the Paula's Choice Resist Anti-Aging Eye Gel, which I received as a sample from my most recent order from the brand! This product is designed and marketed to visibly hydrate the undereye area and brighten it, as well as minimizing the appearance of fine lines and reducing the appearance of fatigue around the eye area. The main concerns would be reducing the appearance of aging effects such as fine lines or fatigue and stress. Due to the small sample size, I have not been testing this bad boy out for too long (approximatley 2 weeks on and off) so I can't say too much on the subject. For instance I did not notice a difference in my undereye fine lines, but I do think the under eye area was more hydrates and nourished! This is such a delicate area, it needs special products <3. The full size product retails for $34 via Paula's Choice website. I did not love this product because I have not seen any results, but it also didn't make me break out or irritate my skin, either. In order to determine how I really feel about this product I would have to buy the full size and use it consistently for a few months, due to the high claims of minimizing fine lines which would take a while with continued use. Nothing happens over night, yknow! Except plastic surgery haha. I would probably recommend this product to someone who is deeply struggling with fine lines and their undereye area as long as they use it consistently! For me, my fine lines aren't too deep yet (hey, I'm only 20!) so for me, this product isn't worth it- but the best treatment of anti-aging is prevention, so if I don't want fine lines in the future it might be smart to buy this and start using it religiously now! Hmmm I might have just talked myself into it!
lmskincare Amazon, Serum and Eye Gel! The serum I was already familiar with. It is one of my holy grails! It’s an amazing facial oil. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now I can’t give a full review on the Eye Gel or Amazon as I have only used them recently. The Amazon tho has been very healing. When I received it, I had some post breakout ‘scabs’ that needed healing and the Amazon Face Balm did wonders. It is matte finish tho, so if I am going around without makeup that day I need add the serum in it as I like a dewy finish! Together they are great! It is great for dry skin, sensitve skin and eczema skin, etc. I have tried a few face balms but I definitely like this the best. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I definitely recommend this brand! I have been using their mask, enzyme peel and serum for years! I am definitely looking forward to keep using the Amazon balm and Eye Gel too! I just love the serum and the balm is definitely great for healing and repairing!
Today I wanted to share with you some amazing products from Fleur&Bee. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The nectar of C rejuvenating vitamin c serum is definitely my favorite out of the three products. It's a lightweight serum packed with antioxidants and nourishing ingredients like pink grapefruit, clary sage, and chamomile. I love the consistency of this vitamin c serum, unlike most vitamin c serums that are tacky on the skin. This serum has a milky texture to it and doesn't feel sticky on the face at all but more nourishing and also hydrating. The creme da la Cream hydrating face cream also is a great product, it's thick and absorbs quickly onto the face. It's full of botanically sourced moisturizers and antioxidants. Plus, nourishing extras like acai, gotu kola and green tea. It doesn't have much of a scent to it which I don't mind at all. The last product is their Eyes eyes baby anti aging eye cream. I loved this eye cream, I'm a sucker for eye creams & I love finding good ones, and this one is excellent. It's fairly thick and spreads out nicely under the eye area. It feels lightweight once on the skin and doesn't look greasy at all. It has botanically sourced vitamins and antioxidants. Plus, nourishing extras like pomegranate, gotu kola, and dandelion and caffeine in it, which I love. These are all amazing quality ingredient skincare products right down to the lovely glass jar packaging. I highly recommend checking their skincare out. They are all super gentle and nourishing products. ♥️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
