Hydrating cleanser 💦🥇
The first hydrating type cleanser I’ve ever used... On my (more) younger days I always used to use cleansers that strip my skin leaving me feeling squeaky clean because I had oily skin and thought that’s what I needed... Moving from the Caribbean to the US my skin type change from oily to a more combination/dry type. I experienced dry spots for the first time: my cheeks would look red and I could see the flaky, scaly patches on them. Watching skincare based YouTube channels (as Beauty Within, skincarebyhyram, James Welsh.... and more) I stumble upon the brand Krave Beauty, and after hearing all the good reviews decided to try a couple of their products. This is the first tube of the Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser I finished (already have two back ups), so is pretty clear I love it... it cleans my skin but hydrates it at the same time, which sounds amazing now that I have a more dry skin. My boyfriend who suffers from rosacea also loves it, it really helps him soothe his flare ups. I recommend this cleanser for any skin type to be honest, anyone would benefit from the skin barrier friendly ingredients in it. It has a gooey/gel type of consistency, and you can actually see the (I guess) hemp particles in it. It’s really a 5/5 ⭐️ for me.
Krave-Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
Cherie gifted me this cleanser from Youth To The People! This vegan face wash boasts ingredients like kale, spinach, green tea, vitamin E and C, and aloe vera. Bear in mind, I’m someone who prefers a foaming cleanser with a rich lather. This cleanser doesn’t exactly provide that, but lathers up enough to make me not mind too much. It does leave a bit of a film like Glossier’s Milk Jelly Cleanser, and it takes a bit of extra effort to rinse off entirely. Whether or not that’s worse than it stripping your skin is a matter of personal preference, I suppose— I don’t mind ones that leave my skin feeling a bit tight because I pile the hydration on afterwards anyway. What I absolutely love about this face wash is the scent. There’s no added fragrance, but it smells wonderful— Like a citrusy tea. All in all, this cleanser isn’t necessarily my favorite (Especially at that price— I’m a poor college student!), but I definitely understand the hype, and I definitely don’t mind using the rest of this up.

I don’t think i’ve tried using products with 𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐲𝐜𝐞𝐬 before — except for few sample bottles of SKII 🤔 Has anyone actually seen visible results from using it? I’m excited to give 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨’𝐬 𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨-𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 a shot! It has short ingredient list and also fragrance-free Thank you @stylevana_sv for giving me the chance to try it out. p.s. you can still use code 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝟏𝟎𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍 to get 10% off your entire purchase on their website.

Favorite acne-fighting products
Hi everyone! Today I just wanted to share mini reviews of some of my favorite acne-fighting products. Paulas Choice 2% BHA: this is an easy-to-use powerhouse product. It’ll help with blackheads and even those pesky under-the-skin cysts! Great product to effortlessly combat acne. Neutrogena On-the-Spot 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide: too drying/irritating for me if I leave it on overnight, but I do contact therapy with this about 2-3x a week. Helps a lot with general acne inflammation. Differin Adapalene Gel: I’m on week 10 of Differin! Thought the purge was ending when a new batch of acne popped up this week. Have heard great things about this for acne, so I’m going to update y’all once I reach the 12-week mark (when most people really start to notice a change). DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel The Ordinary Niacinamide and Zinc: one of my favorite products EVER! On my eighth bottle now. The niacianmide helps me deal with post-acne hyperpigmentation and the zinc helps balance sebum production, consequently reducing my acne. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

Let's talk Retinol! 🌱 I've been always intrigued and also drawn towards Retinols and Retinoids because of their smoothing, brightening, firming, and zit-killing benefits, without hardcore irritating your skin. What is Retinol? In simple words, Retinol is just one from of derivatives of Vitamin A. Retinol and Retinoid (an advanced and more recent form of Vitamin A are available as countertop med, and doesn't need prescription) where in, the more stronger form that is Tretinoin need prescription. Retinol is just one of the many different types of retinoids (the umbrella term for all vitamin-A derivatives, including retinol) that are on the market. A drugstore anti-aging formula, for example, could contain retinyl palmitate (the weakest of the retinoids), or it could contain retinol (the next strongest and most tolerable) Simply put the benefits: ✨Prevents wrinkles ✨Brightens dull skin ✨Treats acne ✨Fades dark spots (Hyperpigmentation) ✨Boosts collagen production . . . . These are some of my favorite affordable and pricey options of Retinol. 1. @deciem @theordinary Ganactive Retinol 2% Emulsion The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion 2. @skillrorganics Antioxidant serum 3. @sundayriley A+ High dose Retinoid serum SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum 4. @theinkeylist Retinol THE inkey LIST - Retinol Anti-Aging Serum All of these have a their unique formula and texture, although the @inkeylist and @sundayriley ones are a little bit thicker, yellow gel serum. They're similar in formula. While @deciem one is my favorite so far, as it is very inexpensive and more on a liquidy side, which gets absorbed in skin quickly. The only Retinol I'd suggest to the ones who're trying it for the first time is @deciem Retinol 2% emulsion Retinol is my holy grail these days as it works on my hormonal acne as well. Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments! 🌟💕

COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner
🐝 COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner 🐝What is it? A lightweight skin soothing and hydrating toner made with 72.6 % Black Bee Propolis. 🐝Call Outs: Free of: Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrance, Alcohol, and Mineral Oil Cruelty Free Minimal Ingredients 🐝Who’s it for? Suitable for all skin types (except vegan skin types). This toner is great for anyone with redness, dryness, flaking, irritation, or acne. 🐝What’s in it? This toner has a very minimal ingredients list which is actually printed on the front of the bottle (which I really appreciate). The key ingredients in this are 10% Honey Extract and 72.6% Black Bee Propolis both of which are antimicrobial (good for acne prone skin), anti-inflammatory (good for irritated skin), hydrating (good for dry skin), and rich in antioxidants (good for dull skin). 🐝My thoughts? My skin loves honey and propolis and my brain has a sick fixation on toners and essences so I knew when this product launched it was on my list to try. This might be my favorite texture of all the toners/essences I own. It is on only a hair more viscous than a standard watery toner texture. It has a great slip when applied to the skin. It isn’t sticky at all and sinks in quickly leaving my skin soft and glowing. My favorite way to use this toner is actually at the end of my routine (before moisturizer) mixed in with one of my oils for a more emollient feel. This feels AMAZING on the skin and leaves my skin looking amazing.
