Cute but Dangerous SAVE YOUR MONEY
As a nail enthusiast who is (pretty lazy sometimes) the option of having premade nail art that would last 2-3 weeks as a sticker was super appealing to me. I mean look at how adorable they are!! Unfortunately, in my almost 2 week journey with the nails I discovered everything comes with a cost. Firstly to get right to the point I do not recommend #Ohora - N Teddy[products]#[TwoStars] unless you’re an incredibly skilled nail artist. I’ve done my fair share of manicures on both myself and other but these were a complete nightmare to apply. These nails probably took over an hour to apply which is not significantly cutting down the the time it would take to just paint my nails. They are stretchable to enable custom fit, however they’re incredibly hard to stretch and on the clear stickers you could see debris sticking to the underside from trying to stretch them to fit. As you can see in my pictures the patches of different colors were an attempt to get them to fit my nail when I couldn’t stretch the sticker at all. If you picked a larger sticker, it left a sharp ridge around the cuticle. Speaking of that; these nails lifted insanely. After curing in the lamp the edges on the sidewalk of the nail LIFTED and again under the clear stickers you could see debris building up under it. Including lots of hair. Not to mention that once the gel cures, it becomes very sharp. This led to some discomfort on nails that I had picked larger stickers. Despite me using a gel topcoat (as recommended) I couldn’t fill in the gaps and lifting to make a nice seal around the edges. This can also lead to dangerous situations where moisture and bacteria build up under the nail and are not able to escape. This can lead to green nail syndrome if left for too long unnoticed (luckily I could see through the clear nails). GNS is not painful but can lead to detachment of the nail bed and infection. Ultimately, the reason I peeled these suckers off is because the lifting made it impossible to shower or braid my hair (which I do daily for work). I am 3 days short of 2 weeks and the only chipping I had was minor and surprisingly on my left hand. I’m right handed so the better application would’ve been on the left and the most stress would be on the right. So, they are durable but incredibly frustrating to wear. I hope you enjoyed this in-depth review and consider these factors before taking the plunge and purchasing for yourself: the nails are very expensive and even more so with shipping they’re very difficult to apply and take a lot of time and effort once applies they’re liable to get caught in your hair constantly they require a gel (UV) lamp and a top coat to last the 2-3 weeks Keep in mind everyone’s nails and preferences are different! These are just my thoughts on the product and in the future I’ll be trying them again to see how the application goes next time.
HOLY GRAIL combo/acne prone skin
I’ve been a long time skeptic of toners for my entire skincare journey. That is until I discovered this toner. The ETUDE - SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner is unlike any toner I’ve ever used. It was a gentle yet effective toner that really did exactly what it was supposed to do balance and hydrate the skin. It truly has no bells and whistles but that is ultimately a good thing for combo/acne prone skin. It is a guarantee drink of moisture for dehydrated or thirsty skin without having to worry about clogging your pores. The texture is water like and soaks into the skin with absolutely no tackiness. And it layers super easily for days you need extra moisture! I cannot recommend this toner enough. Not only has it been a tried and true staple of my routine for the past 6 months, but it is incredibly affordable and I purchased mine from amazon. If you’re in search of a toner and you have combo/acne prone skin I highly suggest you give this product a try!

This Moisturizer Saved My Skin
I lost a real one today guys. Through some of my worst skin moments the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel has been with me through it all. My skin is very acne prone so I needed an oil free moisturizer that would intensely hydrate my skin. This fits the bill perfectly. It’s so so rich and feels amazing and cooling on the skin. It is very lightweight, but the feeling does linger on your skin for a while. It’s not enough for me to take marks off because of how hydrating it is though. The product claims you only need a dime sized amount, but I definitely use more than that (maybe a quarter size?) every time. It is quite expensive coming in at $62 for 1.7 oz, but I can’t say enough about how amazing it is so if you have oily, acne prone skin, but still need hydration I highly recommend you try this out. PS the last of my product did end up drying up into a solid gel, but due to it being a water based product you can go ahead and add a few drops of tap water to reconstitute it and it’s good as new!!

Bougie Acne Prone Skin LIFESAVER
I’ve struggled with acne my entire life and basically since I can remember. After years of multiple RX topicals, this is by far the best I’ve encountered!! Kate Somerville - EradiKate Salicylic Acid Overnight Acne Treatment Lotion does wonders for tackling my breakouts when they happen and also does a great job refining pores. Believe me, I was devastated when the bottle ran empty last night. If you’ve had positive experience with salicylic acid products I would highly recommend you give this a try. It sinks into the skin very nicely. The smell is on the stronger side, and I don’t mind, but several people that have smelled it while I was applying it have said it was unpleasant. So, if you’re sensitive to smells this product might not be the best for you. The only reason I reduced it down to 5 stars is its VERY EXPENSIVE for the amount you get. And although I rave about it, something doesn’t sit right with me spending $60 for 1 oz of product. I’ll be on the hunt for a dupe and maybe I’ll be back to EradiKate if I can’t find a good replacement!

Save Your $$$ Worst Deodorant EVER
In recent years I’ve been on the hunt for my holy grail natural deodorant. I’ve tried TONS in the past few years and the BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Bamboo Deodorant was hands down the worst I’ve used. The claims that it absorbs moisture is true for the most part, but the actual odor neutralization was atrocious. I don’t know if it just didn’t agree with my body chemistry, but I somehow smelled WORSE than if I hadn’t worn anything at all. I cannot recommend anyone buy this. The only reason I insisted on finishing the stick is because of how expensive it is. I usually only review products I use completely to get a full idea but this was... just a no

Scratch Nail Stickers
So I was in Ulta one day and was totally lured into buy a pack of the SCRATCH - SCRATCH Nail Wraps . Just look at them!!! They’re so cute!! I also bought a few other packs of the other patterns because they’re just so adorable. Plus I’m all about supporting a women-owned business in Beantown. I am pretty rough on my nails at work but it just so happened I had a vacation coming up and was totally excited to put them to the test for the week. So the application process was a nightmare to say the least. I’m by no means an expert but I’ve been doing my own nails for years so I’d say I have at least *some* skills. The wraps were sandwiched between two plastic layers and it was IMPOSSIBLE to remove them from the second layer without crumpling up the sticker or getting it stuck places it shouldn’t be. All in all it took me 2 hours to get these suckers on both my hands. PRO: It did only take me half the stickers to do BOTH hands since my nails are fairly short I could cut them in half. CON: These were so difficult to deal with and I personally can’t imagine going through the process again no matter how cute they are. Now it’s been 7 days of wear and I’d lost 4 of the stickers throughout the week. Chipping was actually pretty minimal but when they start to lift you basically just have to peel the whole thing off. On the whole they’re super cute but I’m sad to say I just can’t recommend them. If you’re super nail savvy and ambidextrous then sure go for it! They are really cute, but in general I’d say save yourself the time and headache.

Peripera Lip Tints for Warm Undertones
HONEST FEMME FINDS: Warm undertoned friends, this post is for you! I’m not a huge makeup user but lipsticks are my kryponite. A lip color and some gold hoops are just 💕. I’ve been using Peripera’s Airy Velvet Ink lip tints ever since that fateful day I discovered kbeauty in CVS (2017) and have only recently purchased their new INK line, a very similar update of colors. If you haven’t tried velvet tints, they are like the skincare of makeup. I love them because they feel so comfortable (despite finishing matte) which makes it so hard to go back to liquid lipsticks. Velvet tints don’t stay on as long (1-3 hrs if you’re lucky) but are always the first product I grab for an everyday lip! Age-old question: “how do you know if you’re warm undertoned”? Check veins on your wrist. If they appear green then you are part of this fam! My veins are wildly green, but some of you may have bluer veins (cool) or be in between (neutral). Of course this is allll arbitrary but a quick mental shortcut helps find shades engineered with this heuristic in mind! What lip colors suit warm undertones? The orange/coral/brick red/terra-cotta brown blends. Our pinks and nudes also look better with some 🍊, often what they call a “peachy nude or pink”. The following eight colors I’m mentioning are SIMILAR: you don’t have get them all to complete the color wheel! 🤍 = how often I use the tint peripera - Ink Airy Velvet Lip Tint 2017 OVERVIEW: Comes in a small bottle with a black twist off cap attached to a short lip wand. All tints from this line finish matte, but feels more liquidy than their new formulation. If you’re a lip licker like me, multiple reapplications may be necessary. #5 Elf Light Rose: Rose with coral/peachy notes. It’s one of the brighter roses I own but don’t hesitate to use! I use this a lot when wearing navy blues. 🤍 #6 It Brown Orange: Like the title, a red lip with orange undertones. The very subtle brown really helps mute the boldness. Probably the first thing I reach for an everyday lip. 🤍🤍🤍 #7 My Brown Coral: So similar to #6 I mix the two up. It’s maybe pinker, hence the “coral”. I don’t even care- I love them both.🤍🤍🤍 #8 Glimpse Bricke Brown: Literally your brick red lip but gentled by brown. I love this one for going out at night or when I wear black. 🤍🤍 peripera - Ink Matte Blur Lip Tint 2019 OVERVIEW: thicker, drier formulations in a thinner, longer tube. More pigmented. Still smooth but less so. #1 Goddess Beige: a peachy dusty rose with almost gray undertones. Out of the aforementioned, this is the most versatile for all undertones! Used often on a zoom call or work meeting. 🤍🤍🤍 #2 Vintage Ginger: similar to #1, but redder with some brown notes. More suited for warms. 🤍🤍 #5 Dusky Orange: probably the boldest Orange-red lip tint I’ve ever owned. A tiny bit goes a long way. 🤍 #15 Cinnamon Coral: a orange-y coral. Love it- reminds me of #6 and 7 from 2017 line. 🤍🤍🤍 🥂

Pores: reduced. Skin: brighter. Wallet: happy.
This toner makes me so happy. I’ve actually really enjoyed all my Good Molecules products so far because they are affordable and effective. This toner is no different and it’s provided such a big difference in the appearance of my pores. I’ve incorporated this into my evening routine and I’m quite happy with the results. And the price. Texture note: This feels a bit thicker and more viscous than a normal toner, which feels thinner and more liquid-y. It has a feeling that is in between a serum / essence and a toner. The good: + This almost instantly had an effect on the appearance of my pores. My skin just seemed smoother overall. + It absorbs nicely and quickly into the skin. + It’s not irritating at all. I’m definitely able to use every night if I want to. + My skin tone just overall looks a lot nicer and more even since I started to use this. + It’s almost easier to handle since it’s a slightly thicker liquid. There’s just less chance of it spilling out of your hands or dripping everywhere. + I love seeing Niacinamide quoted as a main ingredient and then it actually being in the top three ingredients on the list! + Key ingredients include Niacinamide (brightens, improves skin tone and controls pores), Arbutin (reduces hyperpigmentation), Licorice root (reduce hyperpigmentation) and vitamin c (an antioxidant that brightens). + Its $14-18 depending on where you live, which is aligned with most drugstore prices for a toner! And you get 120ml of product. The not so good: - The fact it takes about a month to deliver to 🇨🇦 Worth it? Definitely. Will I repurchase? Yes. I might even skip replacing my Then I Met You toner and stick with this one 🙊 Ps I have combo, acne-prone skin. Pps pores are fine and normal. And they won’t fully ever go away. Plus no one will see unless they look really really closely, so try not to worry too much :)

Kiehl’s - Extreme hair growth
If you clicked on this post, you are probably suffering from thinning hair or you know someone who have thinning hair or you might be kind of freaking out that you might be losing your hair. No worries, let me share my hair growth story and products that helps me with my concerns. I have a bit thin hair around my hairline that shows through whenever my hair gets longer when I put it back in a bun or pony tail, people can actually kind of see my scalp which is always depressing. Especially when I see myself in a picture, that area specifically catches all my attention. Kiehl's - Amino Acid Shampoo According to dermatologist, this shampoo actually works very well for hair growth especially for people who has alopecia (which is genetical). I do have a friend who have used this system and her hair grew back. I used to have thick hair when I was in high school. I suffered terrible hair loss in my last year of college and it suddenly became an issue for me. I tried this system because of my friend and it works well for me. The effect was not immediate but I do see a lot of regrowth on my hairlines. Kiehl's - Amino Acid Conditioner I didn’t noticed much in the first month of trying it, but I got this one on discount in a Duo, so I decided to use it up before buying new ones. It was about 6 months, I started to get compliment on my hair after continuously using this product. I came to notice that my hair does look completely different than last year. It was shiny, full, and glory. I also feel that my scalp is healthier. I believe this products is one of the lines that does what it says. I agree it is a little bit expensive, but that’s because they put in all of the right ingredients to help you have thicker and more luscious hair.

💅💅💅What's your nail shape? Find the best shape for your finger!
While a stylish swipe of color adds the perfect finishing touch to beautiful nails, any manicurist will tell you that shape is important. I have rounded nails and I really love them coz I think they enlongate my fingers and make them look slimmer. Considered the base of any good manicure, your nail shape is the foundation for creating fabulous fingers. Check your fingers and choose the best shaped for them! 1. Almond Shaped Nails Almond-shaped nails feature slim sides, which taper towards the end, and a rounded tip. The silhouette naturally suits long and thin nail beds thanks to its elongated shape. Almond nails are also ideal for slenderizing wide fingers to create the appearance of slim hands. On top of that, ladies with short digits will also find this nail shape beneficial thanks to its ability to create the appearance of extra length. Pic2 Credit: malgorzata_jankowska_indigo via Instagram 2. Round Shaped Nails If you want to create the appearance of longer fingers but like to keep your nails short, you should consider opting for a round shape. Round shaped nails, which feature a short length with a naturally curved edge, are perfect for subtly elongating short and wide fingers. Pic 3 Credit：ME！ 3. Square Shaped Nails Square styles are also perfect for shorter nails. Square shaped nails are particularly flattering for those with thin hands and long, slim fingers. If your nail beds are long and narrow, consider asking for a square shape during your next manicure. Pic4 Credit: tonysnail via Instagram 4. Coffin/Ballerina Shaped Nails One of the best shapes for long nail lovers and those with narrow nail beds is the coffin shape. Also known as a ballerina shape, this nail style is named after its silhouette, which resembles both a coffin and ballet slipper. Short and brittle nails may not be able to handle this shape. Alternatively, you can try the look with acrylic nails. Pic5 Credit: philglamournails via Instagram 5. Oval Shaped Nails Thanks to their elongating abilities, oval-shaped nails are ideal for both short and wide nail beds and fingers. The medium to long shape, which ends in a semi-circle, is similar to almond styles except blunter and more delicate in appearance. I tried two products to to treat thinning hair, BUT only 1 is my fav...
1.KÉRASTASE - Energizing Scrub: Purifying Scrub for Oily Scalp What it is: A scrub for an oily scalp that is formulated to exfoliate and provide healthy-looking hair. Hair Type: Straight, Wavy, Curly, and Coily Hair Texture: Fine, Medium, and Thick Hair Concerns: - Oiliness - Volumizes - Flaky, Dry Scalp Key Benefits: - Cleanses - Removes Impurities - Adds Volume Formulation: Scrub Highlighted Ingredients: - Sea Salt: Known for eliminating impurities and exfoliating the scalp. - Vitamin B6: Known for removing dead skin cells from scalp. - Salicylic Acid: Involved with protein metabolism and energy support. Maybe you are confused now: is this scalp working for thin hair? Actually, nearly 50% thin hair is caused by the oil imbalance. So balancing the oil to secrete can not only make your skin fresh and cool but also save your thin hair. That's why I recommend this one for the thin hair. This energising scrub replaces a traditional shampoo and deeply cleanses the scalp and hair. Its purifying texture is specifically designed for oily prone scalp and hair, to combat oiliness and dandruff. The detoxifying power of the sea salt profoundly exfoliates the scalp, effectively removing impurities, particles and product build-up, allowing for stronger, healthier and more beautiful hair. The Vitamin B6 and Salicylic acid protect the scalp with their anti-inflammatory benefits. A little of this powerful scrub massaged in circular motions in a warm shower, will promote skin renewal and unclog pores for optimal scalp health. As you add water to your hair, the energising scrub lathers and create an intense whipped cream cloud. Let the massage awaken your senses. Easy to wash away, this scrub leaves the scalp free to breathe, roots highly lifted, hair fully volumised, 72% more volume after application, shinier and with a lightweight feel. I like using it on wet hair only, start gently applying a walnut-size amount on the scalp (on the top, on the temples, on the crown and on the nape). Gently massage the scalp, add water to the scalp from time to time to help the product to create a thick lather. Rinse thoroughly. Always follow with a treatment on lengths and ends. It's ideal to use Scrub Energisant once a week. 2. GROW GORGEOUS - Hair Density Serum Intense I find the best way to learn more about a hair loss product is to look at the ingredients inside. That is what I am going to be putting in my already thinning hair so I want to make sure everything checks out. Caffeine Ever since a study by german scientists should some minor hair growth on hair follicles in a lab, everything went a bit crazy and every hair loss product now seems to contain caffeine. No doubt it you are from the UK and own a TV you will have seen those rogaine ads. I'm not sure how to feel about this ingredient, it was carried out on male follicles and caffeine shampoo Alpecin was recently banned from claiming it could "help reduce hair loss". I have used other Caffeine products like OGX, Lipogaine and Shapiro MD which did give me some results but I personally don't think it was because of the caffeine inside. Hyaluronic Acid Thinning Hair and "acid" might not sound like a great combination at first glance but taking a deeper look it will make more sense. Hyaluronic Acid is a natural "watery gel" substance that is amazing for moisturising your hair and skin. This may sound hard to believe but just 1 gram of Hyaluronic Acid can hold 6 freaking litres of water. Kate Ellis from the grow gorgeous company actually wrote an in depth article on this ingredient. Bio-Active Pea Sprout extract This ingredient caught my a little bit off guard since I haven't tried a product yet that used this ingredient and I'm not familiar with how it works exactly. I did some research though and it's quite interesting. There was a study that showed Pea Sprout "significantly growing the ratio of anagen and telogen hair". This means that in the study it did improve hair growth. It get's even better though because study included a 50% ratio between Women and Men. The study its self was quite complicated and carried out well. The participants had to apply the Bean Sprout product to the back of their scalps twice per day. At the end of the study 85% of the participants said that the noticed regrowth of their hair. Grow Gorgeous also includes Soy Sprout and Wheat Sprout which some people believe can give similar results. My main issue has been thinning hair and it taking a long time to grow in length. I picked up the Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum 60ml from Amazon UK 2 months ago. It took about 1 week to arrive. I decided that I was going to use it every night after I got home from work. At about 9pm after I had finished my evening bath, I opened up the Serum for the first time I straight away noticed the beautiful smell coming from the shampoo. I tilted my head forward and starting massaging the serum into the front of my scalp into my dry hair. This is where I have been having issues with thinning hair. I did this for about 5 minutes and after that I just let it sit in and went to sleep at about 11pm. I simply repeated this process every night until the bottle was empty and I did notice results. At the end of my experiment I noticed that my hair had grown more than usual and it felt thicker than usual. The results weren't that shocking and I don't think many people would notice that much of a change but for me personally it was definitely nice to see. The price was okay as well but I am keen to try as many other products first for this blog so I probably won't use it again for a while. In a word, both this two products are my often use but if i need to choose one of them ,it should be grow gorgeous because it will show the effect so fast.
