Product that helped ME with acne!
CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 This product worked miracles for my skin, and got rid of my pimples when nothing else was helping. I used this both morning and night as a moisturizer, and it helped me so much. You can find this on amazon, or many drugstores, and is pretty affordable for a sunscreen/moisturizer. ⚠️❗️PLEASE keep in mind that the products that work for me, may not work for everyone. Everyone’s skin is different, and I cannot promise you that this will work. :) Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser This is the cleanser I use twice a day. I have oily skin, so the dryness that some people might feel when using this didn’t really effect me, but if you have dryer skin, I would recommend the: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser or the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I really hope this helped anyone struggling with their skin!! Remember, acne doesn’t make you any less beautiful ♥️

How did this happen? I’ll tell you.
⭐️THIS WAS 2017!! ⭐️ My skin doesn’t look like this anymore but it was very sudden. I was on various acne medications since puberty and my clear was fine until this point. I felt so sudden. It was so bad that it was so painful just to move my face a little bit. ✨This is what I was using at the time: ✨ THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent I used this only 3 to 4 times but I distinctly remember it burning when my skin hadn’t gotten this far yet. REVLON - Colorstay Makeup for Normal/Dry Skin Before I was using MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation but I couldn’t afford it anymore so Pinterest said this was a dupe. It smelled like paint and my skin improved when I stopped using it. I used Too Faced - Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer and continued to use it. Didn’t negatively affect my skin like the foundation. At the time I wasn’t doing much of a skin care routine. It was SKINCEUTICALS - Simply Clean Gel for a face wash from my Dermatologist and wasn’t using a moisturizer. I did not want to look oily. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oops. I posted this because while I was depressed and stressed, I believe the toner and the foundation created a horrible result. To fix it, I put HERITAGE STORE - Hydrogen Peroxide 3% and Baking soda on my face!!! It burned so bad that I put a towel in my mouth to stop me from screaming. While it did get rid of the bumps caused from the cystic and pustule acne, it left the horrid scars and redness seen in the video. How did it heal? 6 months on Accutane. Years later I continue to struggle with sensitive acne prone skin but I’m no where near where I used to be.

7 Simple Ways to Minimize Large Pores That Actually Work
Pores are necessary for our body to function properly, but there’s no reason we can’t attempt to minimize their appearance. The size of your pores depends on a number of factors such as skin type, sun exposure, age, genetics, makeup, etc. Before learning how to minimize the appearance of your pores you need to understand what they are and why they’re necessary.
My Function of Beauty Experience
I’ve known about Function of Beauty for several years and wanted to try it out as it seemed impossible to find hair care products that fulfilled all my needs. I have thin, wavy hair, and my scalp tends to be very oily while the rest of my hair is dry and prone to damage. It also seems to take FOREVER for my hair to grow no matter what I do. I’ve also become more aware of the ingredients in my beauty products and I’m trying to stay away from sulfates, parabens, and silicones, which seemed to be a big selling point with Function of Beauty. As I am nearing the end of my bottles, I thought it was time to share my thoughts on Function of Beauty. (Note: this will be a long post.) I ordered the 8oz bottles and received them in late February. The total was $39 plus tax and shipping which, in my opinion, is expensive for shampoo. I suppose if it’s the PERFECT shampoo for you then it’s worth the investment. I’ve been able to stretch the product over 3 months, but this is by using small amounts of product (like quarter sized amounts or two pumps). I wash my hair about every other day. The hair goals I selected were: *fix split ends *lengthen *curl definition *oil control *strengthen I selected the rose scent with a medium strength. When I first started using it, the scent was noticeable, but not overbearing, and I could smell it in my hair throughout the day. Over time the smell has seemed to diminish, but I may just be used to it. It also doesn’t lather as much as shampoos that contain harsh sulfates, but again it’s something I’ve gotten used to. FoB includes ingredient lists on their website explaining what ingredients they may include depending on the hair goals you selected. Swipe to see my hair before FoB (1st photo) and what it currently looks like (2nd photo). You be the judge. It’s hard to say if my hair has had any dramatic changes. I would say the biggest one I’ve noticed is my hair being less oily in between washes. I used to be very self conscious about how my hair looked on days I didn’t wash it, but I would say as of recent the oil has become manageable and it’s less noticeable when I don’t wash my hair. My hair is very soft and it looks a little wavier, but that could be because of the masks and protein treatments I’ve also been doing over the past few months. I think it’s a bit unrealistic to expect shampoo and conditioner to fix all your hair problems, but I do think it has helped my hair look nicer and healthier. I think if you have the money and are seriously considering Function of Beauty, then by all means try it out as I do think they make good quality products. If not, I think it’s possible to replicate the results I’ve gotten through researching and trial and error. There are plenty of sulfate and silicone free hair products that are more affordable than FoB. Hope this was helpful! Follow These Tips & Your Hair Will Thank You!!!
The reason I write this post is that I am still dealing with the effects of having my hair damaged by chemical hair straightening among years of doing box hair dye and neglecting to use silk pillowcases. I’ve rounded up some of the best tips that I have learned personally through my experience healing damaged hair and awesome tips I have picked up from family members and friends who are hairdressers and stylists. 1. Heat damage It's one of the leading causes of devastating hair cuticle leading to dry hair which becomes worse and worse by the day. Consider investing in a good dry shampoo to extend the number of days you can rock your hairstyle, look at using ceramic tools, and always use a heat protectant! 2. Over-washing Many dermatologists agree that if your hair is excessively greasy or is full of dandruff it is appropriate to wash your hair once a day. So do experiment with washing your hair less if you can or looking into a dry shampoo. Speaking of hair washing, lower your water temperature, and finish off your hair washing with a rinse of cold water on your hair also can give you an extra sleek shiny look. 3. Hair Masks Make sure to deep condition your hair with an appropriate hair treatment at least once a week and consider doing an overnight hair deep conditioning mask depending on your hair type and the level of damage you have. You know, having healthy, strong, shiny, and bouncy hair are universal signs of youth, vitality, and health.
The most cost efficient chemical exfoliant✨
The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA The most effective and cost efficient chemical exfoliant ever produced! One of the Ordinary’s greatest product. Lactic acid is a great chemical exfoliant and is used to treat textured skin, dullness and uneven texture. I have been using this product for approximately 5 months and it has significantly overpowered any physical exfoliant out there. Perfect for all skin types from dry to normal. —————————————— How to use? Lactic acid is extremely acidic and can be harmful if used at the wrong time, with the wrong products or too often. Additionally, exfoliating too much can lead to dryness, peeling and/cracks. Thus, it is important to only use lactic acid 1-2 times per week. Lactic acid also cannot be used with certain types of vitamin C’s and niacinamides, as a result, do your research with each product before applying to the skin. Furthermore, lactic acid is the most effective during the night as skin cells replenish the most during the nighttime. Lastly, it is important to build a tolerance for lactic acid, start with a low percentage and build your tolerance. Skin routine including lactic acid can be as following: rinse face cleanse tone apply drops of lactic acid moisturize —————————————— Recommend 80% Throughout my experience, I would recommend lactic acid to anyone who is looking to exfoliate the skin. This product is also tremendous for dry to normal to oily skin. However, it may not be the best chemical exfoliant for sensitive skin types or people who suffer from eczema. Most importantly, in order to use this product, one must do extensive research to know how to use it and how to implement it in your skin regimen. If not used properly it can cause serious damage to the skin due to its extreme acidic concentration.

Budget friendly and effective
Budget friendly at only $9.49 body scrub that helps so much with body acne. This comes in both body wash and body scrub. I personally prefer the body scrub as it is super exfoliating without leaving your skin raw, burning and irritated. I am 45 and I don’t suffer much from body acne but I do get those tiny little bumps on my upper arm. I use this daily, I love that it’s oil free, won’t clog pores, leaves skin feeling clean, without a residue and has a really nice citrus smell that is not overwhelming. This clears those tiny bumps right up. The packaging is simple and clean. The price is perfect and if you keep a watch on the Neutrogena brand they usually run specials of buy one, get the second half off and sometimes the second bottle is free. I do recommend the Neutrogena body scrub as it does cleans deep into pores and sloths away dead skin. Neutrogena - Body Clear Body Scrub With Salicylic Acid
