I got inspired to try this by the new Colourpop launch of "The Child" palette. I ordered the palette before realizing I should have shopped my stash. However, I am still super excited to receive it as I do not have some of those colors.

I don’t really have a con for elf and morphe products, but I do have a con for the NYX Halo powder and the L’ORÉAL face powder. For the nyx halo powder, since it’s a highlighter it does leave behind some behind when you remove it and it gets everywhere when you apply as well. And the L’Oréal face powder it’s a good setting powder, but it does have a small amount of flashback.

I love all three products. The hydro grip primer hype is really and I didn’t believe it until I started using it.

All these products are good, the Charlotte Tilbury foundation is medium coverage and it is buildable and it’s one of the best formulations I’ve tried so far. The Colourpop and tarte concealer are very amazing concealer. They both are high coverage concealers, but they do cake up/crease easily so you got to set it real good to not have it move around.

I do like Jeffree’s formula even though he has done handful of things, but the pigment and formula is there in all of his products. The Balm Eyeshadow and Face palette is my go to for the natural everyday glam look. Let me tell you something about Lunarskies Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes. They are the best small cosmetics business I have tried and invested my money in and their palettes are to die for.

I love all these products, but my only issue, and it’s a thing with all matte liquid lipsticks, is that they are slightly drying, but you can easily fix that with some lip balm before hand.

COLOURPOP - Nude Mood Eyeshadow Palette The palette is a great starter/basic palette. The pigments were intense, creamy and easy to work with. I will definitely be using this palette often this falll/winter. Plus, thanks to points, I only paid 4 dollars for it. I would rec this palette especially to anyone whose nieces or nephews were just getting into makeup. It would make a great present for them.
PAT McGRATH LABS - Dark Star Volumizing Mascara OG HG Makeup.
MAKEUP BY MARIO - Master Mattes Brightening Eye Pencil I melted the tip by warming it between my fingers and it definitely helped with brightening my eyes. It took a while to get the angle right but once I did, it applied without tugging.
PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. If you don’t own this lit from within bronzer, run to ulta and pick it up. I got it for 50% off. Best 7.50 I ever spent on makeup.
COLOURPOP - Lux Velvet Liquid Lip in Fatale. This performed beyond my expectations. It applied smoothly and stayed in place once applied. It is a little drying but the color is gorgeous and for $8 it is hard to complain about that. I love this formula and look forward to buying more colors in this formula.

Hi everyone! Here’s a super fun Instagram-trending makeup look that I completed for a photoshoot right at the end of the summer (recreated in the photo) – I’m a mermaid! I used to hate wearing blue eyeshadow, but now I’m really starting to embrace it especially since it’s the perfect complementary shade for my dark brown eyes!
In this look, I first layered the Becca eyeshadow I reviewed last month, and then went in with the shimmery dark cobalt shade from the new Urban Decay stoned vibes palette. After that, I used a lighter shimmery blue to highlight the inner corners of my eyes, and finally used my Glossier Play colorslide eyeliner to draw little bubbles along the sides of my face!
The glossier colorslide pencils are honestly PERFECT for these types of fun looks since they have so many fun colors to choose from, and they last all day! I don’t need to press down hard and they dispense such a strong opaque finish – so easy to use. The shade I’m using in this look is called “early girl” and it’s the perfect eggshell blue/green for a pop of color all year long!

I saw Urban Decay’s new naked ultra violet palette and felt inspired. I didn’t think that the 49 USD was worth it so I picked up Colourpop’s “Lilac you a lot” palette. I love Colourpop! Can’t you tell? Ha
These shades are so pigmented. There wasn’t much fall out which was surprising because the “Making mauves” palette had so much.
I used:
-Imagine that (transition shade)
-Iffy (all over the lid)
-Cloud (mid life)
-Wake me (inner lid)
-Filtered (outer lid)
-Trainwreck (inner corner)
-Ghostin’ and filtered on the lower lash line
I took off a star because this stains like crazy. I took it off with a make up remover and exfoliated, but my eyelids are still stained.

In a Nude Mood for National Lipstick Day
So apparently today is national lipstick day. My goal was to wear my “party” liquid lipstick shade which is Kylie Cosmetics matte liquid lipstick in “Koko K”. This is described as a pale pink shade. I am not that in to bold lip shades since I am in to bold eyeshadow looks. Yes, I consider this shade a bold shade. However, when I was doing my eyeshadow, I decided that Koko K didn’t go well with this look so I decided to wear my everyday go-to shade which is Kylie’s matte liquid lipstick in the shade “Dolce K”.
I used Colourpop’s nude mood palette. This is a warm toned neutral palette so it made sense to pair it with dolce K, which is a deep beige nude. This is my go-to everyday palette along with the CP “Going Coconuts” palette. It just depends if I want a cool or warm toned look that day. Going coconuts is a cool toned neutral palette.
I used:
-Bare to wear (transition)
-Au natural (crease and lower lash)
-The cocoa (deeper outer crease and lower lash)
-Moody (outer v)
-Lux of Lap (inner kid)
-Wink wink (on top of lux of lap)
-Bluffin (inner corner and brow bone)
This palette is the definition of soft glam in my opinion. As always, I love CP palettes and this one is up to par with the formula.

Kylie’s lip kits are controversial, but I’m actually a fan of her lip kits. I think her formula is a hit or miss however. I have a candy K lip kit and that one is very drying on my lips. However, Dolce K and Koko K are amazing. I use concealer before applying and use this with a lip brush to make the shade a little “lighter”
