OH SH*T...I have a zoom call in 10 minutes...
We have all been there. Whether you slept in and don’t have time to get “fully ready” or you just need to be ready in a flash. I GOT YOU BABE! This is how I get ready in 10 minutes for a zoom call:
BROWS: If anything has to be done, it’s my brows. They go on first. We don’t have a lot of time so I just brush them out with my favorite tinted brow gel, e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel
SKIN TINT: No foundation or concealer here. I just apply a skin tint to even out my skin tone, since my webcam isn’t HD and you probably won’t see my red marks. I hastily apply Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30
HIGHLIGHTER: In my eyes, highlighter > blush. So if I am really tight on time I skip blush. Today my highlighter is super quick and easy cocokind - Mai-light Rosé highlighter
BLUSH: I’m only applying blush because the product I’m using doubles as a cheek and lip tint. It’s from one of my favorite indie brands, Undone Beauty, which is exactly the vibe I am going for. UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE
LIPS: just swipe more of the UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE
EYES: No nonsense today. Just going in with a new fave: FENTY BEAUTY - Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl MascaraWhat are your go-to products for quick and easy makeup? #CheriePartner

My 10 minute makeup routine 😘✨
Hi friends, this is the makeup routine I do when I’m in a pinch! No foundation makes for a more natural glow “my skin but better” feel. I don’t mind my acne showing through since acne is normal ✨ My skin tone is fair, and my skin type is sensitive/combination dry with rosacea & it is acne prone. Here’s my 10 minute routine: e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel this brow gel is my favorite! It’s $4 at Ulta and the gel isn’t too thick but keeps my brow hairs in place all day and gives them an extra “oomph.” 5/5 vegan & cruelty free! I use the shade “brunette.” Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer my favorite go-to for evening out my skin tone. I use the shade “fair.” I dot it all around my red spots and any inflamed spots and let it sit for a few mins before blending it out. It’s not too drying, more of a satin finish. Available at Sephora. 5/5 Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush this is a mini I have of the matte blush formula in “grace.” I would much prefer to try the dewy formula—this one blends out kind of patchy if you don’t work fast. Regardless, the smallest amount gives you awesome color payoff and this mini will last me forever. Available at Sephora. 4/5 BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter this is my all time favorite liquid highlighter. I literally use the smallest amount on my ring and middle fingers and dab it out all over my upper cheekbones over my blush as well as on the bridge of my nose. I’ve had this mini for a long time and highly recommend it! Available at Ulta. 5/5 tarte - LIT Chrome Paint Highlighter this is such a good eyeshadow in a pinch. Shade “bronzed.” I take the smallest amount on the tip of my middle finger and apply and blend it all over my lid and crease. Super easy look! Available at Sephora. 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara a secret hero! I’m using the new merlot shade, I really want them to come out with a brown shade. It gives me more length and volume and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. Available at Sephora. 5/5 URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen super easy brush-tip eyeliner pen. A bit expensive, plus it mush be shaken up before using or it applies washy. I usually just apply a super small outer wing to extend my lashes. Doesn’t irritate my eyes. Available at Ulta. 5/5 essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner my all time favorite! This lip liner is $2 at Ulta. I apply it all over my upper lips and around my bottom lips. Not drying! 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer last but not least. The classic Fenty Glow gloss bomb. Shade “Fenty glow” the perfect glossy luminizer! Not goopy, and tastes great. Doesn’t last super long but is still a hit. Available at Sephora. 5/5 See any faves? #Cherie Partner
Subtle work makeup is subtle 👄
Good morning, beautiful people! ☀️ Hope you’re all doing well. This is what today’s work look consists of. I’m in the military, so our makeup has to look “natural”. Definitely no glam allowed, but that’s ok because I’m neither talented nor brave enough for glam lol 😂 Remember to hydrate and check your WiFi 🦋 😘🌸 Ps. Sorry the lighting in my office kinda sucks - no windows 😩

Good skincare for life.
I’ve been obsessed with skincare and makeup since I was a little girl. I made my own masks, I religiously cleansed my face day and night once I started wearing makeup and I used treatment products and moisturizers long before I needed them - that is key! Start a skincare routine as early as you can. If you think your skin is perfect and doesn’t need anything, think about the decades coming! Start now! Here’s the thing- skincare (and makeup) don’t have to be complicated or expensive. I regularly blend drugstore products with high end products. Honestly, many of the drugstore products turn out to be my favorites. Full disclosure, I use a crap ton of skincare products and I change up my routine as needed. I rarely put on a full face of makeup but I do wear some makeup 5-6 days of the week because it makes me feel pulled together and I like how it looks. No apologies necessary for daily make up wearers- do what makes you feel good! No shame in self care, ever! Today felt like a full-face-of-makeup day for some reason, so I had some fun and put it all on. Here are some of my fave products and what I used today: 1. Day old hair with Toni & Guy matte hair powder. 2. Cleanse face with CLARISMA - Malibu Blush Exfoliating Scrub - the enzymes in this cleanser keep my face smooth and glowing. Follow with some quick swipes of pixi - Glow Tonic allow to dry then mix one dropThe Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Matrixyl* 10% + HA , half pumpCLARISMA - Cali Dreaming Cream Daily Moisturizer massage in and appy a dab of Roots Sensitive Eye Cream to eyes. When my face is dry I apply a layer of DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 . 3. Prime my oily skin with smashbox - Photo Finish Foundation Primer Super Light , one little drop each LANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation and SHISEIDO - Perfect Refining Foundation SPF 15 MAYBELLINE - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer for under eyes, e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer (just discovered this!), UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE , tiny bit of bareMinerals - Mineral Veil Setting Powder Broad Spectrum SPF 25 on t-zone, SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler COVERGIRL - Total Tease Waterproof Mascara NYX - Eyebrow Cake Powder , Rimmel grey eyeliner, a few pats bh - Illuminating in Ireland 6 Color Highlight Palette Sephora chunky crayon brow enhancer, florence by mills - Limited Edition Get Glossed Lip Gloss Duo . Last, I like to spray a couple spritzes of HERBIVORE - Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Mist to get a satin look. This seems like a lot, but it takes maybe 6-8 minutes. I apply my foundation, concealer, cream blush and eye shadow by hand. Always have, always will. My skin isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty good and I owe it to taking care of my skin for more than 30 years. Unfortunately, I grew up in an era we didn’t talk about sunscreen and sun damage. I baked in the sun and eeeeek, tanning beds. Surprisingly, my skin isn’t horrible but I definitely see the damage. I’m currently working on undoing some of that damage. Morale of the story, take care of your skin and enjoy the process. I do!
Undone Beauty Concealer & Lip to Cheek Palette
UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE This lip to cheek palette is very pretty on the skin, but can be time consuming to blend out. I do like the color a lot! In the compact, there is a sheer shade, a medium shade, and a full coverage shade (from top to bottom). UNDONE BEAUTY - CONCEAL TO REVEAL 3-IN-1 COVERAGE PALETTE This concealer is amazing! It blends well with my skin tone, and it is easy to blend. There is coconut extract in it, so I feel like it is healthier for the skin compared to other concealers out there. It is moisturizing so it does not look dry over blemishes. This palette is like the lip to cheek palette, so there is 3 different levels of coverage in the compact. I like to use the sheer (top) concealer under my eyes, and I like to use the full (bottom) concealer on acne/eczema spots. I sometimes get eczema on my cheeks, and this concealer is great at concealing/moisturizing eczema spots as well. 👉🏻Cons about both palettes: I prefer to use brushes for my makeup, and these palettes make it hard to use brushes. If you use brushes to apply these products, it will make the different coverages mix. I use my finger to apply the product to my face, so I can keep the different coverages separate.
“Natural”/“Clean Beauty” Faves
I’ve been slowly trying to incorporate products made from ingredients that are good for the skin and are derived from more organic, sustainable, and ethical means in general. These brands I’m featuring are all cruelty-free and vegan. I have more products from these brands in my collection. I just chose a few to feature and use in a makeup look (swipe through for photos!). ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 This skin tint contains niacinamide, squalane, & hyaluronic acid, as well as zinc oxide 12% to provide some SPF. It should be noted you still need to apply SPF as part of your skincare routine to ensure adequate protection! I have shade “ST3 Balos”. It’s a pretty good match for me, considering it sheets out quite a bit. It provides a very dewy finish, so I often apply a bit of powder. It feels so good on my dry skin. It’s coverage is very light, allowing skin to shine through. I’m not currently supporting Ilia due to their lack of inclusivity; however, this is a very good product and worth the hype. $46 CLOVE+HALLOW - Conceal + Correct This has light-medium, lightweight coverage. Personally I prefer more coverage, but this is a nice concealer for lighter coverage days. It’s not the best shade for me (“02”), but C+H is working to expand the range more. C+H products are made with 15 ingredients or less, and are ethically sourced! $21 (PR from brand - I’m an affiliate). CLOVE+HALLOW - Hydratint Blush Serum This blush is beautiful! Made me fall in love with the brand before becoming an affiliate. It has a dewy finish, so perfect for dry skin. Easy to blend with fingers, sponge, or brush. Mine is the shade “velvet” and I’m eying “blossom”! $19 SERAPHINE botanicals - Palmetto + Pillow Hydrating Matte Lip Stain This formula is comfortable and leaves behind a slight stain. This one is “nude cream”, and I have 2 other shades. The formula is mousse-y and lasts several hours. Contains sunflower, palmetto, & sea palm (just to name a few good ingredients!). $18 (gifted to me by brand). cocokind - Mai-light Rosé highlighter The giant chapstick packaging is perfect for on-the-go. Contains jojoba, mango butter, & maitake to provide sheer, buildable color. I built it up in my swatch. It’s a beautiful rose gold that would work for a variety of skin tones. Cocokind has 2 other colors. $12 (PR from brand). Nourish - Safflower Shimmer This is available through the Nourish Beauty Box website. This shimmery gloss is in the shade “vision”. It’s perfect on its own or over another lip color. The sparkles hit the light just right and never feel gritty. It contains safflower and feels ultra moisturizing. I’ve used it a lot but it’s hard to tell though the packaging. I’d love to get other colors! $16 (came in a gifted sub box w/o obligation). The Best Products for a Flawless Glowy Base
It’s summertime...we all love a glowy no-makeup-makeup look but sometimes it takes some effort to get us there right?😆 These products are what I’ve been counting on to give me that flawless base that actually holds up throughout the day and looks like I didn’t try ~too~ hard. Swipe through to see the products on my skin! • Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 - this stuff absorbs quick, doesn’t pill, and makes a great base for makeup. Don’t ever skip your spf! • ILIA - True Skin Radiant Priming Serum - this primer is beautiful and really helps keep your makeup in place while giving you a natural, glowy radiance. It has a lightweight texture and sinks into the skin so nicely, it also has a bit of grip which is perfect for adding any type of foundation overtop. • Haleys Beauty RE:INVENT BB Drops - these have quickly become my favourite makeup product of the summer. They are light weight and feel more like skincare than makeup, but give a beautiful natural finish + tint to the skin. • cocokind - Mai-light Rosé highlighter - this highlighter is gorgeous and again, so natural looking. I use it on my cheeks, cheek bones, and eyelids for a pop of glow! These are the products I’ve been loving for those days I don’t really feel like doing my makeup but I still want to look glowy + put together. #CheriePartner

THE ULTIMATE TINTED MOISTURIZER SHOWDOWN✨
I loove a good tinted moisturizer. Sometimes, I treat it like the last step of my skincare routine because my favorite formulas tint AND treat the skin with its ingredients! Supergoop! - Daily Correct CC Cream 35+ in Light This is a medium to high buildable coverage tinted moisturizer (the highest coverage out of all 4 formulas). The texture is on the thicker side so I would recommend warming up the product in between your fingers or on the back of your hand with a brush before applying to the face. I love using this on days when I feel like my skin needs a little extra coverage and when I know I want my skin to look dewy and glowy. COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer in Light 7W This has light to medium coverage that is buildable (the second highest coverage out of all 4 formulas). The texture feels like a true lotion, nothing super thick and heavy and runny either. The formula has hyaluronic acid in it which makes it a beautiful skin-plumping product. This is my go-to when I want to look natural but polished. It doesn’t cover up everything on my face but leaves a fresh glowy finish- perfect for everyday! ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 in ST4 Formosa and ST6 Ora This has a super runny, lightweight consistency that offers only a hint of coverage- basically just adding a bit of color and glow to the face. It’s also formulated with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to plump, hydrate and treat the skin while ALSO providing SPF. This is the product I use most days as the last step of my skincare routine because it just adds the perfect amount of glow and color for my everyday needs! Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 in Sand I have compared this product to ILIA’s Skin Tint because I find them super similar in application and result. The only difference I can notice is that Sunshine Skin Tint has a little more coverage and feels slightly heavier on the skin so it takes a few more seconds to work in. It’s a great formula and I usually wear this when I want slightly more coverage than usual. Are there other tinted moisturizers I should try?
Which skin tint is worth it?
Preface: I love skin tints. I much prefer having my natural skin tone, spots, and freckles/moles visible through a dewy foundation rather than having a full coverage matte look which accentuates my skin texture and dryness. These are both formulas I have tried and loved for different reasons but which one is more worth it? Products: UNDONE BEAUTY - Unfoundation Glow Tint Milk MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30 Price points: Undone: $14 for 1.19oz Milk: $42 for .7oz Applicator: Undone: they have since updated their packaging to a squeeze tube, but I also like this dropper applicator shown in photo 2. It’s hygienic and very easy to control how much you use. Milk: this is kind of strange, but I like that it has an airless pump at the end of the tube. The part I don’t like it the rollerball applicator at the dispensing end of the tube. Like stick foundations, this allows for bacteria (including acne-causing bacteria) to hang out on that applicator if applied directly to the face. This is annoying because every time I use it I have to apply it to the back of my hand and THEN dot it on my face with my fingers for a hygienic application. Scent: Undone: no powerful scent, maybe if anything a subtle clay scent. Milk: this formula is SPF 30 so it just smells like sunscreen. Texture: Undone: this is a super-lightweight thin liquid formula that can be applied directly with your fingers for the lightest coverage or a brush/sponge for slightly more coverage. It offers a SUPER dewy finish that can be set with powder to lessen your glow if preferred. Milk: this offers slightly more coverage and you only need the tiniest bit to cover your entire face. It is thicker than the undone formula and can also be applied with fingers or brush/sponge to customize your preferred coverage. I prefer to apply both of these as dots on my face first and then buffed out with a foundation brush meant for stippling. I also prefer to wear these formulas in the summer time when I am less pale. Overall experience & thoughts: The undone beauty tint is much more accessible being in Target stores and it’s more affordable but doesn’t offer a whole lot of coverage compared to the milk tint. However, each formula is buildable without any cake face. The milk Makeup formula does include SPF so that can be seen as a win but you can also easily apply the undone beauty tint over your daily SPF without issues. My personal preference is to wear the undone tint when I’ll be spending more time indoors and the milk tint when I’ll be spending more time outdoors. They are tints so YES I know neither of them completely matches my skin tone and that is the point, it’s a tint. I would say for the amount of product you get and accessibility for each price point, the Undone Beauty tint is more worth it. ALSO: my skin type is sensitive and dry & my skin tone is fair.

HG after one use!!!
I recently picked up two products from my local Target a couple days ago: e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel in neutral brown & wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara in very black The first picture is my before - as you can see, my eyebrows are naturally lighter than my hair, and my eyelashes don't particularly stand out. The next photo is me at work in the morning (my uni's music library!) with my eyebrows and mascara done, and the final photo is how it held up into the evening! Throughout the day, I itched my eyes and brows multiple times, and no budge!! Also, I've found that this mascara is easy to use due to its wand, and it doesn't make my eyelashes feel dried out or heavy! Already, I can tell that both of these items are going to be staples in my go-to natural daily look! *DISCLAIMER: Alongside the mascara, I used my regular e.l.f. - Clear Brow & Lash Mascara to prime my eyelashes (I did not use it on my eyebrows, though), and I used e.l.f. - Dewy Coconut Setting Mist to set the entire eye look.
My new favorite
This brow gel was only 4$ and it’s my new favorite! I purchased it in the color deep brown . It has fibers that add fullness to your brow and leaves them full and fluffy e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel
Soap Brows! “Feathered” brow tutorial!
I use Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils to make my brow hairs stand up. Use a setting spray URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray to wet the soap (I think this aids in helping the hairs stay put). I brush up on the brows, let it dry down completely! Then add product to the brows to make the shape and fill in what needs to be filled in. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil Sometimes I finish with Glossier. - Boy Brow to ensure the hairs stay put. Hope you liked the tutorial!!! P.S. hubby is gaming in the back if you hear random outbursts 😅😂🙈
