My favorite easy daily eye look

relpixela
When I say I am no-frills, no-nonsense, usually-roll-out-of-bed-and-wear-no-makeup-during-quarantine-because-duh....I’m not kidding. HOWEVER, when we were in simpler times and I actually left my house for work on a daily basis, and saw people, I actually did my eye makeup. Now when I tell you I have sensitive, dry eyes I am so serious. I have rosacea which affects the face but also can cause super dry eyes, so I have to be careful about the products I use in that area. My favorite daily eye look includes 2 shadows, 1 brush, a liquid liner, and a mascara. Let me tell you THE DEETS... 1. BASE. I will sometimes use my concealer as my eye base but I usually just don’t use one at all. If you prefer to use one, go for it! 2. BASE SHADOW. I typically use one shadow all over applied with my fingertip. Today I used the shade “natural peaches” from the Tarte/Grav3yardgirl eyeshadow palette, which is no longer for sale but you can use any neutral matte shadow that matches your skin tone. 3. CREASE. I take the same bronzer I’m using on my face, dip my super fluffy Morphe M433 brush into it, and windshield-wiper it into my crease and kind of create an outer V shape with it. The bronzer I’m using today is the Fenty powder bronzer in “shady biz”: FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer
MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush
I use this super fluffy brush since I have hooded eyes and need to create an overdramatic crease or else you wouldn’t see any shadow! 4. LOWER LASH LINE. After deepening my crease, I take the same brush and lightly run it under my lower lash line. Blend blend blend! 5. LINER. I use a brush-tip liquid liner to create a super tiny line with the smallest wing along the outer half of my upper lash line. I will usually use brown, but all I have is black. Today I used the URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen
which is nice but it did sting my eyes a little bit. The pain went away fairly quickly though so I still use it. 6. MASCARA. I try to use a non-dramatic mascara that won’t clump. Any mascara will do! Today I used the new Lash Freak by Urban Decay URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara
i haven’t been using it long enough to give a super detailed review but I really don’t like the wand. I might actually just use a different wand with it since I like the formula so far. I used this on my upper and lower lashes! What are your go-go products for your daily eye look? #CheriePartner

2021 Fashion Week Inspired Makeup - Chloé
This is the second spring/summer 2021 fashion week inspired look I did. Make sure to check out my other Cherie post for my Hermès look. This look inspired by Chloé focuses on smoldering, smudged out black-rimmed eyes, dewy skin, and juicy nude lips. The eye look was particularly interesting to me because of the blank spaces in the center of the model’s lower and upper lids. The base of this look is the same as my Hermès look. I’ve included the inspo photo that I found on Allure. Complexion: Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid - this oil-serum hybrid is perfect for adding a glowy base on bare skin, under makeup, or over makeup on the high points of your face for a natural, yet wet-looking highlight. I used 1 pump all over my face under my skin tint, and a tiny bit dabbed on the tops of my cheek bones after my skin tint. $24 ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 “balos” - light coverage to even out my skin tone and also amp up the dew. $46 e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer “light peach” - I used 2 tiny dots under my eyes to add some coverage. $6 AOA studio - Sculpt FX Contour “fawn” - the model does not appear to be wearing any cheek products; however, has beautiful, defined cheekbones. I don’t have defined cheekbones, so I used this to give a slight contoured effect. $1 Now the fun part! I used URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil “perversion” to lightly outline the inner and outer portions of my top and bottom lash lines. I smudged this out with a pencil brush. Then I used the shade “black” from my LORAC - PRO Matte Eye Shadow Palette to intensify the smokiness. I made sure to keep the space directly in the middle of my eyes blank on both upper and lower lash lines. I then drew a thick wing on the outer corner of each eye, topped with black shadow, and smudged inwards. I couldn’t tell if the model was wearing mascara, but I added 1 quick coat of URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara to add an extra pop to my eyes. For lips, I lightly blotted COLOURPOP - Ultra Matte Lip “little one” (limited edition, no longer available) to add a hint of nude to my lips. Then I topped with the ICONIC - Lip Plumping Gloss in “nearly nude” . This gloss is super glossy and wet looking - perfect for ultra juicy-looking lips! This look was so fun to create. Unlike the Hermès look, this isn’t something I would personally wear day-to-day, but for Halloween or the runway it’s perfect! It’s so hard not to smile in photos 🤪 #CheriePartner

90s Makeup Pt. 2
I had so much fun making my first look, I had to do a second! Make sure to check that one out, too. This look is much more grungy. It’s inspired by popular celeb looks with worn-in, black-rimmed eyes and dark lipstick. Products I Used & Why: Primer: touch in SOL - No Poreblem Primer Great for smoothing without feeling silicone-y. This is in my October monthly makeup basket. No other reason for choosing Foundation: ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 “ST 3 Balos” and PÜR - 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 “porcelain”. I chose these 2 because celebs often wore lighter foundation tones (or orange, but I don’t like that look LOL). The combo of these 2 is still natural but provides medium coverage. The Pür is a bit light for me. Concealer: e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer “light peach”. Celebs often wore concealer that was a little or much lighter to draw attention to their eyes. Eyes: URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil “perversion”. I did a thin line on my upper lash line, then used a pencil brush (not sure of brand) to smoke it out kind of messily. Celebs’ liner looked like they’d been wearing it all day (or night) long. I then added a bit more liner at my lash’s roots to intensify the effect. For my spidery lashes I used URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara . I smudged the shade “black” from the LORAC - PRO Matte Eye Shadow Palette with the same pencil brush under my eyes. Since I have hooded eyes, some of the smudged liner did transfer into my crease a bit. I think it adds to the worn-in vibe. Cheeks: KEVYN AUCOIN - The Contour & Highlighter Duo “contour” to lightly sculpt my nonexistent cheekbones and tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in “thrilled” (nude pink) on the upper portion of my cheeks to add a hint of color to my cheeks and lift my cheekbones up. Lips: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick “heathers” for a deep ox blood red pout. Shades of red, burgundy, and brown were also very popular in the 90s to pair with this kind of look! I finished off this look with my hair in a bun to accentuate my makeup. What’s your fave 90s makeup style?! #CheriePartner

Editorial ULTRA COLOR Mask Eye Look
Don’t you guys just love experimenting with color? I figure it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing more editorial eyeshadow looks paired with masks. I went kind of crazy here with this one but I ended up loving it a lot! Wouldn’t wear it to the grocery store though... 😂 Here’s my how to and my thoughts on each product I used: Brows. Brush out your brow hairs. Apply a tinted brow gel and a brow pencil to your liking. I used e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel these are wonderful drugstore options. I have repurchased each of them multiple times and tbh I don’t really understand overspending on brow products. Base. Lightly conceal your eyelid + undereye. I blended it out with my finger. I used Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer which is one of my favorites, however I am no longer supporting milk makeup in light of their past racist actions in their internal corporate culture. I then set the concealer on my eyelid with a neutral powder. The craze begins. I am using the URBAN DECAY - Electric Pressed Pigment Palette which is a holy grail of mine. Highly recommend this if you can get your hands on one. It lasts forever and the pigment is insane. I started out with the shade “jilted” blended out on my lower lash line up into a mini wing with e.l.f. - Eyeshadow "C" Brush —east drugstore brush, I like it a lot. The craze continues. Then I took the shade “gonzo” on MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush —I used this brush as a liner brush— to outline my top liner and my crease for later. Then I blended the blue out upward with my favorite blending brushes MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush MORPHE - M456 Mini Firm Blending Brush . GLITTER! I took the #Tarte - Glitter Liner[products]#[ThreeStars] which is OK IMO but I don’t support Tarte anymore and this burns my eyes. This is the only glitter liner I had tho. Sorry. I took this to line my crease, I have hooded eyes so I went high, and I used it as an outer liner and connected them. Even crazier. Then I took MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush and wet it with MILANI - Make It Last Prime + Correct + Set Setting Spray , dipped it in “jilted” and covered my eyelid with it. Liner + Lashes: Then I took URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen which is my NEW FAV! I lined over our blue line from earlier and drew high and low lines on the wing to leave space for the glitter to poke through a little diamond. I then finished the look with Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara —this is awful, don’t use it—and some extra lil lines I found portrayed lashes in an abstract way. I finished up my repeating on the opposite side with different colors. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun! #CheriePartner

Flawless Wedding Makeup Tutorial ⭐️
I just got married this past week, so I thought I would share how I did my makeup for my special day. I was going for a more natural/neutral look and focus on products that would hold up through my tears. My skin tone is fair with pink undertones My skin type is sensitive combo & acne prone EYES: SHADOW. The eyes are arguably the stars of the show. Eyes are also so personal—I have hooded eyes so I have to use darker shadows to manipulate my eye shape. I started off with Mac’s Paint Pot in Soft Ochre MAC - Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow and set it with the Tartelette in Bloom Palette tarte - Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette shade “flower child.” Then I went in with “smarty pants” in my crease, creating a dramatic crease since my eyes are hooded. I continued deepening my crease and outer V with the shades “rebel” and “leader,” and blended out the upper edges with “charmer” on my brow bone. I mirrored the blend of “rebel” and “smarty pants” on my lower lash line. I finished off with “funny girl” on my lids! EYES: LINER + MASCARA: I feel like eyeshadow always looks a little funny until liner and lashes. I started off by giving myself a super thin line with the Urban Decay BLACK Perversion liner URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen . I have ultimate control since it has a brush tip. Shake before use! Then, I decided to use the Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer URBAN DECAY - Subversion Lash Primer Deluxe Sample I love this stuff! I finished off my lashes with Nars Climax NARS - Climax Mascara and the primer kept it LOCKED ON. FACE: I went a little rogue with my foundation and decided to try a sample I had of the Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation and I fell in love. With my elf “flawless foundation” brush, I used the shade “1” and it was a little pale for me but I bronzed up using the Fenty powder bronzer FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade “shady biz” and it worked perfectly with the Urban Decay blush brush. Then I went in and blended out the rare beauty blush in “grace” Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush , and since that is a matte blush I went in with my Becca liquid highlighter on my fingers over it to brighten it up BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter . NOTE: I didn’t use any setting spray or powder and makeup stayed on for 12+ hours! BROWS: my brows are pretty naturally full so I just lightly filled them in with e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil and e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel to hold them in place. LIPS: I also kept my lips simple since we wore masks all day—essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner all over and chapstick on top. #CheriePartner

My 10 minute makeup routine 😘✨
Hi friends, this is the makeup routine I do when I’m in a pinch! No foundation makes for a more natural glow “my skin but better” feel. I don’t mind my acne showing through since acne is normal ✨ My skin tone is fair, and my skin type is sensitive/combination dry with rosacea & it is acne prone. Here’s my 10 minute routine: e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel this brow gel is my favorite! It’s $4 at Ulta and the gel isn’t too thick but keeps my brow hairs in place all day and gives them an extra “oomph.” 5/5 vegan & cruelty free! I use the shade “brunette.” Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer my favorite go-to for evening out my skin tone. I use the shade “fair.” I dot it all around my red spots and any inflamed spots and let it sit for a few mins before blending it out. It’s not too drying, more of a satin finish. Available at Sephora. 5/5 Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush this is a mini I have of the matte blush formula in “grace.” I would much prefer to try the dewy formula—this one blends out kind of patchy if you don’t work fast. Regardless, the smallest amount gives you awesome color payoff and this mini will last me forever. Available at Sephora. 4/5 BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter this is my all time favorite liquid highlighter. I literally use the smallest amount on my ring and middle fingers and dab it out all over my upper cheekbones over my blush as well as on the bridge of my nose. I’ve had this mini for a long time and highly recommend it! Available at Ulta. 5/5 tarte - LIT Chrome Paint Highlighter this is such a good eyeshadow in a pinch. Shade “bronzed.” I take the smallest amount on the tip of my middle finger and apply and blend it all over my lid and crease. Super easy look! Available at Sephora. 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara a secret hero! I’m using the new merlot shade, I really want them to come out with a brown shade. It gives me more length and volume and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. Available at Sephora. 5/5 URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen super easy brush-tip eyeliner pen. A bit expensive, plus it mush be shaken up before using or it applies washy. I usually just apply a super small outer wing to extend my lashes. Doesn’t irritate my eyes. Available at Ulta. 5/5 essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner my all time favorite! This lip liner is $2 at Ulta. I apply it all over my upper lips and around my bottom lips. Not drying! 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer last but not least. The classic Fenty Glow gloss bomb. Shade “Fenty glow” the perfect glossy luminizer! Not goopy, and tastes great. Doesn’t last super long but is still a hit. Available at Sephora. 5/5 See any faves? #Cherie Partner

I love a super punchy warm orange look! The Coral Obsessions mini palette from Huda Beauty is perfect for that! HUDA BEAUTY - Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette For this look with a fluffy eyeshadow brush I blended shade 6 into the whole crease and shade 2 into the outer corner. Then I gathered shade 9 on a flat, stiff brush and wet it with MAC - MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Mist (or water or any setting spray you have) and I pack that onto the entire lid. It’s super simple and takes only a few minutes! Add some mascara (I’m using Rodial - Glamolash Mascara XXL ) and you’re all done! #cheriepartner

i used this palette for the first time today and unsurprisingly, i love it. it’s so versatile – whether you‘re going for an everyday look or more dramatic glam, this palette has it. lighting – indirect sunlight application – fluffy brush, small blending brush, chisel brush, and fingers skin tone & undertone – light with neutral undertones other products used (eye only) – pretty VULGAR - Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer / Kokie - Be Bright Liquid Concealer / tarte - SEA Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara texture & pigmentation – okay so WOW. these are so creamy and buttery. they glide on effortlessly, whether on a brush or fingers. the pigment is incredible. the mattes are bold yet buildable. and the shimmers. oh, those shimmers. never before have i applied a SINGLE layer of a shimmer and been happy with the result, i always have to build and build and build. but these are something else. otherworldly. then there’s the signature pat mcgrath shift shades. the iridescent, elusive color that you can’t quite pin down because it’s neither, it’s both. staying power – oh, it stays & slays. price – 125.00 usd. i bought this as part of a duo with divine rose ii as well as during a sale, so i paid considerably less. however, i do think it’s worth the money. the pans are larger than in other eyeshadow palettes i’ve used and because a little goes a long way in this case, i know this will last long. today, i used – velouria astral solstice vr rose venus refined gold 002 skinshow nude

Fox eye makeup trend 🦊 Before/After
Fox eye makeup trend 🦊 Before/After
This look has been trending for a bit and went viral. I thought it was crazy what difference it made, but the change was very subtle. I only used 2 cool toned shadows to achieve this look. What made my face look really lifted was sculpting my eyebrows and applying my concealer differently. Another thing I did differently is applying my blush. I applied it like how I usually apply my bronzer to give my face a really lifted look. I also focused my mascara on the outer corners of my eye to give it that “flared out look”. I see why this trend went viral because I love it! I feel like I got surgery, but it was all makeup. I also feel like this look is suitable for an everyday look. My only complaint is how time consuming it was. Have you tried this viral make up trend? Francesca 💋

Easy Glam With Only 5 Products!
I love a good low maintenance look that packs a punch and takes less than 15 minutes to apply! I only used 5 products for this look. First, I applied NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer To my under eye, lids, and a few blemishes on my forehead. I blend it all out with my e.l.f. - Blending Sponge Duo I like this sponge, it’s soft and not so pointy at the end that I poke myself in the eye. Next, I apply just a touch of BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone to my forehead with a fan brush, and then use a large eyeshadow brush to sweep it all over my eye. Then I use the tarte - Sugar Rush Sparkler Shadow Stick in Rose Gold from lash line to crease. I blend it out a teeny bit with my finger. It’s a good shadow stick and the sparkle applies nice and thick, but it’s tough to blend and it does get a little messy. Then I swiped on a little wing with FENTY BEAUTY - Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner and 2 layers of NARS - Climax Mascara and I was out the door! (Okay fine, I did my eyebrows earlier for a Zoom call with ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel but I didn’t do it for this look so I’m not counting it!) As you can see, I suck at putting on eyeliner 😣 I don’t have a very steady hand. Any tips? I’d appreciate it!

Peach Glam 🍑✨
Peach Glam 🍑✨
I love peach tones for my skin, they just work for me, so when I get to wear bolder makeup (I can’t for work) I love pink and peach tones! This look is a little more soft glam than the last one I posted but I realize now it’s remarkably similar 😂 I have a look I guess. Also please excuse my frizzy hair, I haven’t washed it in four days 😬 Something that’s a lot different in my makeup routine is with a face mask, I’m literally only putting makeup only from my eyes up, and even then I’m only putting a touch of concealer on my forehead. So basically only eyes! I start with NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer under and on my eyes, as well as a bit of spot treatment on my forehead and blend it all in with a beauty blender. I’m shade creme brûlée, which has got more blue/purple undertones so it won’t turn yellow throughout the day which I hated about the Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer and tarte - Shape Tape Concealer For eyeshadow, I used the Too Faced - White Peach Eye Shadow Palette which has so many pretty colors and also the COLOURPOP - Yes, Please! Both palettes are full of warm glowy pinks, reds, oranges, and golds, definitely my jam. I laid down a base of too faced’s Peach Cream all over up to my brow, then used the Peach Suede color in my crease. Then I grabbed the colourpop palette in Bling for my corners, and jumped back to the too faced palette to put Glistening Peach on the center of my lids. It’s a really pretty pink with gold sparkles, a very dimensional color! Confession time: I hate eyeliner. I am terrible at applying it 😅 when I do wear it, It’s usually brown, I only put it on my top lash line, and I usually blend it with a sponge to hide the mess I made. So I just have the sephora collection brown eyeliner and I line my top lash line and my waterline and then just blend it out with the sponge on the end. But, I do have one hack! If you wing your brown eyeliner out and smudge it out, you can create the illusion of a shadow from your lashes! I just draw out a little wing and use the sponge on the end of my eyeliner. I double layer URBAN DECAY - Perversion Mascara over NARS - Climax Mascara I’ve been using climax for a while, I like how soft and natural it makes my eyelashes look! I only wear this normally, but I like to layer the perversion over it if I’m going for something a little more dramatic. I don’t put anything but ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel on my brows, brushing up and kinda roughing them up for a fluffy messy look. I’m just lucky to have naturally good dark brows, sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t go crazy with my makeup, and I’m by no means an expert, but the secret is just knowing what works for you! If you made it here thanks for reading ☺️
