The best manicure I’ve ever given myself!

I have to be honest with you guys. I’m not SUPER into painting my nails. They either always come out super choppy/messy looking or chip away easily since I work part time in manual labor. However, this nail polish brand I found makes THE CUTEST nail polishes and they make super cute nails EASY! This look was created using the following nail polishes: HOLO TACO - Aurora Unicorn Skin
HOLO TACO - One-Coat Black
HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco
OPI - Natural Nail Base Coat
I’m usually not a huge fan of YouTuber brands but Holo Taco makes such unique nail polish formulas that help me save time (and subsequently money) with something that I would never pay a professional to do, but never felt comfortable doing myself. Here’s the step-by-step of how I created this look:
PREP WORK: always wash your hands and remove any remaining nail polish before starting a new look. You can also use a nail polish remover just to remove any excess oils on your nails to make your polish last longer.
BASE COAT: I used the OPI Natural Nails base coat. OPI - Natural Nail Base Coat
I purchased this pretty recently (within the last month) since I work in manual labor and my nail polish chips (not to mention my nails BREAK) pretty often and I wanted to help offset that. This base coat works WONDERS and really does make my polish last longer. Pro tip: I always take the base coat along the tip of my nail and sometimes underneath it to stop tip chips.
CREME BASE: What can I say? I love black nail polish...but so many black nail polishes I have owned in the past take SO MANY coats to make it fully opaque. I finally found a TRUE single-coat black nail polish HOLO TACO - One-Coat Black
it’s insane. This is the first nail polish I purchased from this brand and it had me hooked immediately! So yes, I only used one coat of this polish before moving on.
TOPPER: This topper polish has my heart. It’s a blue-pink-purple-everything-tinted iridescent flake topper. WHEW! I love using this topper on my nails by itself but on top of black it just takes the look to a whole new level! HOLO TACO - Aurora Unicorn Skin
this is such a unique nail polish formula and it’s not chunky or strange feeling on the nail. However I would always recommend sealing it with a top coat just in case. I only used one coat of this.
TOP COAT: This is the strongest top coat I have ever used: HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco
and it really does completely flatten out any glitter, flakes, bumps, or ridges that occur on my nail. I love this stuff!! I only used one coat of this to complete the look.
What do you guys think of the look?! #CheriePartner

Easy Fun Abstract Nails ✨💅🏼
Hi friends! Abstract nails have always been on my “I want to try that!” list. Well, I jumped in without another thought and it’s way easier than I thought it would be! Plus, this way if my nails chip it’s harder to tell. Here’s how I get my fun abstract nails: 1. BASE COAT. Always use a base coat. It extends the life of your manicure and protects your polish from the natural oils of your nail. I’m using HOLO TACO - Long-Lasting Base one of my favorites! 2-4. BEGIN PAINTING IN SPLOTCHES. Start from the lightest color, since covering lighter colors with darker colors is always easier than covering dark colors with lighter colors. I used: cirque colors - cirque colors Cream Polishes Cirque Colors Carnegie, Rose Hook. Then #Lights Lacquer - Emerald[products]#[FourStars] emerald. Added a few dots of HOLO TACO - One-Coat Black black creme. Wait 5-10 mins between coats, since you are probably offsetting the placement anyway. 5. OPTIONAL—A FUN TOPPER? For fun, I added a flaked holographic topper. It elevates the look for me, and I really love this polish... HOLO TACO - Flakie Holographic Nail Polish 6. TOP COAT & FINISHING TOUCHES. If you need to add a second layer of anything, do it now! Other wise wait about 15-30 minutes for everything to fully dry before adding your top coat to seal it all in. Make sure you wrap your top coat over the tip of your nail to prevent chipping! HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco VOILA! You’re ready to live your messy life—and I’m here for it. Have you done abstract nails?! Any tips for me?

Basic DIY Wedding Nails! ✨
I just got married this past week so I thought I would show you guys how I did my nails myself at home. This was surprisingly simple and easy! I chose to go with a basic neutral rose color and my natural nails, which were shaped oval. I don’t have any “nail tech” equipment at home and TBH I am not leaving my house to get a manicure right now LOL, so this was my only option. My nails are natural and pretty brittle, so I have to choose the products I use carefully to protect the health of my nails. I started off with my favorite base coat: the long lasting base from Holo Taco HOLO TACO - Long-Lasting Base this brand has just been so GOOD for my nails. I knew this one would keep my polish on all day so I didn’t have to worry about chipping or lifting. It takes about 10-15 minutes to dry but I don’t mind at all! It’s worth every penny to me at $11. Then I painted 2 coats of Cirque Colors “Rose Kaolin” creme polish cirque colors - cirque colors Cream Polishes . I love Cirque since they are made in the USA and made small-batch, 10-free! The coats dry relatively quickly, about 15-20 mins between coats. At $12 I recommend their polishes! Then I had a crazy thought—I NEED stones on my accent nails. But where do I find them? In my room of course. I found an old piece of cheap jewelry with clear white stones in it so I took a safety pin to it and removed a few stones to glue onto my nails. I used super glue and tweezers to place them and made sure to wait until the coat of creme polish was 10000% dry beforehand. I think they turned out pretty great for DIY! For my top coat I went with my HOLY GRAIL HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco which is only 3-free, but it dries in 5-10 minutes and does not budge. At ALL! No scratches, indents, nothing. I knew I could count on this on top of the stones to seal everything in. SGT is $11 and worth every penny if you have brittle nails like me! What do you think of my DIY wedding nails?! 😂 #CheriePartner

HOW TO DO RHINESTONE NAIL ART AT HOME
HOW TO DO RHINESTONE NAIL ART AT HOME
Rhinestones are one of the blingiest things that you can add to your naols—and you don't have to go to a nail salon to use them! Once you have finished painting your nails, all you need to do is add a little dab of top coat wherever you want to stick the rhinestone, then carefully place it there adding a little bit of pressure (but not too much that it disturbs the nail polish underneath). and voila! You have a blingy rhinestone mani to rival cardi b's!

y’all asked- full how-to for my rose nails! 🌹🌹
hey y’all! a while ago I posted a video of my rose nails but didn’t attach a tutorial... well, ask and you shall receive! read on for the full tutorial! 🌹step one- start with your base color! •for this manicure, I chose a nude color close to my skin tone; however, you could choose any color that would compliment the color of the roses. •start painting your nails with the color of your choosing. the brush should start just above your cuticle. push the brush towards your cuticle, then pull back across the rest of the nail. repeat this process to cover the sides of the nail. 🌹step two- paint the roses •for the roses, I used two shades of red, one darker than the other. •start with your lighter shade. paint slightly irregular circles on your nails in varying sizes- you want the circles to have a bit of a wavy edge to mimic petals. •once the first color has dried completely, outline the roses in the darker color, and make little half circles inside the roses to look like petals. 🌹step three- add some leaves •i used two shades of green for the leaves. •start by painting little leaf shapes in the empty spaces around the roses. •once the first color has dried completely, outline your leaves in a darker shade of green. 🌹lastly- some finishing touches! •use some acetone to clean up your fingers and finish with a glossy top coat. enjoy! happy painting! xoxo abra

my favorite type of nail color is one that looks super natural. I love CHANEL - LE VERNIS Longwear Nail Colour because it just looks like really natural, white nails! it doesn’t chip on me even without a base coat, and you can get different “looks” with different coats. 1 coat is super subtle, you can hardly see it. 2 coats leave a light white shade 3 coats is my absolute favorite, and what is pictured here. this shade is just so classy to me, and the minimal packaging doesn’t hurt! I’ll repurchase this forever! #cheriepartner

French Manicure at Home
French Manicure at Home
If you like French manicures but don’t really want to go to the Salon for it, then this is the post for you. These press on nails are the perfect alternative for days where you’re feeling a bit preppy and want to switch things up from your regular nail varnish routine. As someone who has smaller sized nails, sometimes I can find it difficult to find press on nails that fit my fingers– but I’m about to let you in on a little secret. These “Girlz Only” press on nails fit me perfectly. By chance I came across these in my local supermarket a few days ago and I’m not looking back. Not only are they cheaper compared to most regular press on nails, but the quality of these pleasantly surprised me and were a lot better than I expected. They come in a pack of 24 nails and of multiple sizes so everyone will be able to find something to fit them. Everything you need comes in the pack making it easy to use at home. To apply, add about 2 drops of the nail glue onto the back of the fake nail and use the end of the glue container to spread the glue evenly across the fake nail. Once the glue is evenly spread, position the fake nail against your cuticle, and slowly lower it onto your real nail and press down gently for 10 seconds. And you’re done - it’s as simple as that. Repeat for the rest of your fingers and you’ll be left with something that looks like this! With complete honesty, I didn’t expect to like these press-ons as much as I did! They’re super affordable, convenient (since everything comes in one pack) and looks great – you can’t really complain for the price you’re getting them for. I would definitely recommend to people who want an at home alternative to getting your nails done at the salon.

Believe it or not, you can make it at home!!!💅
Believe it or not, you can make it at home!!!💅
Whether you're looking for a way to cut costs on your beauty routine or you just like the art of painting your nails, you don't have to go to the salon to get a good French manicure. There are a number of high-quality home kits available on Amazon. The best French manicure nail polish usually comes as part of a set, with a base or color polish, a white polish, and sometimes even tip guides. As for what to look for in the polish itself, it should be especially chip-resistant and long-lasting. It's a huge hassle to have to redo your nails every couple of days, especially with a French manicure. When putting together my list of picks below, I read through the reviews to make sure real-life people have vouched for the polish's longevity. The polish should also be easy to apply. After all, if it's too difficult or messy, you'll never want to give yourself a French manicure. You'll be happy to know that one of my picks comes with handy stick-on tip guides, while another includes an easy to use pen for the tips, instead of a polish, for precise application. What's great about it: Made with a tough, chip-resistant formula that contains platinum and diamond powder, this French manicure set is a long-lasting option. It comes with everything you need: a beige polish, a dual base and top coat, a white pen for the tips, and a set of tip guides. The color glides on smoothly, according to reviewers on Amazon, and the white pen is easy to use. The classic beige color looks simple yet elegant, and it's available at a good mid-range price. Usage Instructions: Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength Base & Top Coat Step 1. Clean Nails then prep and push back cuticles. Step 2. Shake up the Gel; it can make the polish color be balanced. Step 3. Apply Base coat, with UV lamp or LED lamp. Step 4. Apply Color directly, cure under UV lamp for 2-3 minutes or cure with LED lamp for 60 second; when dry, apply a second coat, and cure with UV lamp or LED lamp for 2 minute. Step 5. Apply topcoat, which can make color more shining, then cured by UV lamp or LED lamp. Step 6. Remove the tacky surface with cotton soaked with cleanser. To remove: Soak cotton pad with acetone (acrylic remover) and warp the nail. Wait a few minutes for the gel becoming soften. Rip it down gently. File away the residual gently. I really love this! The two nail polish bottles it comes with are great strength polishes and the white tip pen is easy to use and looks great. The results are great. I had been giving myself french manicures with a cheap nude basecoat and white nail art pen. This set greatly improved on the finished look of my nails. The top coat is super glossy and really strengthens your nails. They don't last quite as long as a gel manicure would but they don't chip as bad as normal polish either. Comes with stickers to get a perfect white tip, but the applicator is easy enough to use that I didn't have to use the stickers.

Hey, y’all! If you’re looking for a reliable top coat that’s in reach by way of a drugstore, try Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri (red bottle)! When I’m in a pinch (which is usually lol) this top coat saves the day by drying in 5 min or less while coming through with an incredible shine. I’ve been using this top coat for over 7 years and haven’t looked back. One critique would be that because of its great drying chemistry the top coat doesn’t have a very long shelf life like the average product. Personally for me, someone who nail paints everyday, it lasts at most 4 months on the shelf. If you have tried this or considering it let me know! 💕
