My favorite hair style for my square/heart face
Hey guys! I am so excited to share with you how I achieve my favorite hairstyle for my face shape. Please note I’ll be adding tips for every hair texture, but I personally have naturally curly hair that is thick and dry. Here’s how I achieve my voluminous, bouncy curl look: 1. Wash your hair. Today I co-washed my hair (who can relate???) with the new Briogeo Kiwi mask, which is such a great moisturizer for my dry curls! Sometimes The Most Expensive Isn’t The Best
My hair care philosophy is simple but effective. ogx - Thick & Full + Biotin & Collagen Shampoo SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Rinse-Out Conditioner Briogeo - Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask I wash my hair every three days with the ogx product to shampoo and SheaMoisture to keep my 2B/C hair hydrated and wavy. I use the mask (which gives amazing slip) every week to add moisture to my hair without weighing it down. It is a balance between getting enough moisture and preserving my waves. Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-in Conditioning Spray I finish up by towel drying and adding this product to prevent heat in this humidity.
Amazing Hair Mask
A new hair mask from one my favorite haircare brands @briogeo! It is their new Be Gentle, Be Kind™ Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask with amazing ingredients like Avocado, Spinach, and Kiwi! It is such a fantastic hair mask and I am loving it! I use it once a week as I normally wash my hair twice a week! And it works so well and leaves my hair so soft and smooth! I usually apply it after my regular shampoo and conditioner and leave it on for up to 20 minutes or so while in the shower and my hair is left super smooth and is very easy to manage post mask session! The texture is just amazing and it is protein free and provides moisture and hydration to the dry hair and makes it more manageable! Have you tried anything from Briogeo? Day-to-Day Heat-Free Hair
I’ve been growing out my hair, so I especially don’t like using heat often- even with heat protection, I worry about long-term damage to my ends that will be noticeable for a while as I aim for waist-length tresses. So, here’s how I keep my hair frizz-free on my usual days where I’ll be hanging out inside, hitting the gym, and running errands! • *amika: - Vault Volor-Lock Leave-In Conditioner is like if detangler and a leave-in softening treatment had a baby. It doesn’t weigh down my hair but helps to keep my hair soft and touchable as it air-dries... plus makes combing much less of an annoyance despite the thickness of my hair! • *amika: - Silken Up Dry Conditioner is amazing even on days I’ve washed. Air-drying can leave my wavy hair a bit untamed and fluffy, so brushing after applying Silken Up keeps my hair frizz-free and silky, like a less drying version of hair spray! • *amika: - Blockade Heat Protectant Serum probably makes less sense on an air-dry day but I’ve fallen in love with it for how it tames split ends and increases shine when I take a very small amount over my hair with my palms. I use this throughout the day as well, particularly after a windy car ride, to scrunch my hair with my hands without creating a frizzy mess. #CheriePartner *PR Sample

A Quick & Voluminous Wash & Go!
Yes, you read that right a quick and voluminous wash and go. Are you the type of curly headed that hates to spend hours and hours waiting for your wash and go to dry and try to avoid diffusing? Do you also love volume? If you answered yes to either of these questions than this is for you. To get this wash and go I used only two products a leave-in conditioner and a curling cream. I used the Italy Linange leave-in conditioner which contains ginger and garlic. This leave-in conditioner leaves the hair super soft and provides my hair the moisture that the curling cream doesn’t give. I got this at my local beauty supply for 14.00 Pros: soft and moisturize hair Con: contains silicones The curling cream that I used for this wash and go was the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie. This cream gives my hair a lot of definition, volume and a very soft hold. I love to use this cream when I’m in a rush or don’t want to spend a lot doing my hair since a wash and go can be really long sometimes. Pros: soft and define curls Con: does not give enough moisture to use alone SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie linange - Ginger and Garlic Leave-in Conditioner

How to straighten curly hair without chemicals? My secret is...
I used to have fizzy curly hair, and I looked for some methods about how to minimize the damage when straigtening my curly hair. You can see from the picture that the result is not bad😜 I'm going to show you several easy steps. 1. Wash your hair The first thing you need to prepare is a frizz-fighting shampoo and conditioner, and I recommend L'ORÉAL - EverPure Sulfate Free Frizz-Defy Shampoo L'ORÉAL - EverPure Sulfate Free Frizz-Defy Conditioner. They cost about $30. 2. Use a thermal protectant When you’re about to blow out your hair, something that is an absolute must is thermal heat protectant. Before you pick up your blow-dryer, you need to prep your damp strands with a heat protectant spray. As we all know that heat can be damaging to hair of all types, which is why it’s crucial to use a heat protectant beforehand—regardless of your hair type. Before blow dry, just spray onto hair in sections and brush through to make sure it’s evenly distributed. 3. Choose the right dryer A great hair-dryer can minimize potential blowout damage, and it is the most basic thing you should prepare at first. Look on the website or ask your friends and trying to figure out which one works best for you requires. 4. Buy the right hair straightener The most important part is to choose the right flat iron. I do recommend GHD ORIGINAL IV PROFESSIONAL STYLER. It heats in just 30 seconds. 185ºC is perfect for all your hair styling needs and will not cause significant damage. But you can choose other hair straighteners according to your budget. The following tips you should remember: Using a good quality hair straightener 5. Add hairspray/oil You could apply some in the form of a hairspray however, I prefer to apply a mixture of essential oil with a carrier oil. That's my way of straightening curly hair without chemicals. I hope you guys will like this tutorial! If you have any questions, comment down below!

This DIY treatment will DEFRIZZ your hair 🤭
Cherry Lola Treatment! This is one of my favorite natural hair hydration secrets. This method was created by popular YouTube hair blogger ~Cherry Lola~ hehe and it has changed my hair for the best. *Disclaimer* It’s a little stinky and messy so make sure to do it on a day you aren’t rushing to get anywhere. All you need is: 1-2 Cups depending on hair length- Greek Yogurt(Or Mayonnaise) for protein base 2 Tbs Braggs Amino Acids (the secret sauce) 2Tbs Raw Honey- Natural humectant that will help draw in some moisture 2 Tbs Baking Soda- This is opening up the hair’s shaft to allow for better product penetration. Make sure you hair is fully saturated, leave on for about 30 mins and rise with cool water! This treatment is amazing for any hair texture to help with hydration and defrizzing. But for naturals? WHEW! Concentrate this on your roots, and banish the puffiness, and get seriously defined curls. This is a super affordable way to get amazing results and keep up your hair health. I would recommend 1x a month.
5 Best Hacks Saved My Curly Hair💖💖💖
I have curly hair. That is not an easy thing for me. I used a lot of hair products including masks and conditioners, but my hair is still frizzy. I will share several things I have learned through my experience dealing with my hair. I hope this can be helpful if you have curly hair as well. Figure out your curl Porosity Your curl porosity is your hair’s ability to absorb moisture. Curls with low porosity require lightweight products and heat treatments, while curls with high porosity need butters, oils, and proteins to keep them moisturized and healthy. So you need to know your curl porosity before you decide what hair treatment you need. Use a curl-specific detangling brush. Hair is fragile when it is wet. It's so easy to break and tangle. That's why you need a nice brush! I highly recommend you try a detanglish brush especially for your coils. A nice brush actually makes a difference. Apply your conditioner to DRY hair, not wet. Using condition on dry hair helps maximize its potency. If your strands are saturated with water, they can't absorb much hair conditioner. So you should use your conditoner before you step into the shower. Skip the shampoo and co-wash instead. If your curls are really dry, skip the shampoo completely. Wash your hair with only conditioner or those with a co-wash formula. Co-wash your curls once a week or as often as needed to keep your hair moisturized without drying it out. Comb your curls when they’re sopping wet. Comb your hair when you are in the shower! Don't wait till it's dry. You want your curls to clump together and dry in natural pattern. If you comb them when they are dry, it doesn't work that way. I hope this is helpful to you. If you want to know more, let me know.
